The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Got a plot in mind?
MRO plots are player-created the Mods facilitate and organize the big ones, but we get the ideas from you. Do you have a plot in mind, and want to know whether it needs Mod approval? Check out our plot guidelines.
All global moderators check the <MutantRevolver@gmail.com> account, and share in the responsibilities for all Modly duties. Other colors denote special duty mods who do not deal with applications, apprentice moderators, or the The Mod Team account, which is a shared account used only for site maintenance.
Retired & Inactive Mods Some Mods had to leave for RL reasons, some Mods retired to focus back on their posting; whatever the reason, we thank them all for helping keep MRO running all these years. It's on their shoulders that the current Mod Team stands. <3
Lady J (player of Tricity and Setsuna; former Admin and site founder. Thanks, Lady J!)
The oldies: Eddied, frostbite, Pwn*, B**** Blaze, Arjay, QueenIceB****, Almighty, Sir Questionnaire, Attribute Assigner, Goliath (player of Orion and Cage)
How the Mod Team Works
The MRO Moderators are a team, where all members are equal--Global Mods are just Global Mods because they need to affect the site coding, not because their opinion counts for more. In order to act as our own watchdogs (and to make sure multiple Mods aren't spamming members over the same issue without realizing it o.O) we post all of our communications with players on the Mod Board, where the other members of the team can view them. When you're talking to one of us, you're pretty much talking to all of us. On that note: communications with the Mod Team are confidential. Only the Mods will read them, and what happens on the Mod Board stays on the Mod Board.
For small concerns, such as resizing your avatar/sig, editing a post, answering a simple question you sent us, etc, it's likely that one Mod will be able to act quickly in PMing/replying to you.
For large concerns, a single Mod may not be able to reply to you without consulting with the rest of the team: in order to make our rulings as fair as possible, we frequently discuss things together to examine issues and reach a consensus on them before replying. This can take a few days. Contrary to our united public image, we can be quite opinionated behind the scenes.
If you're not clear on how we reached a ruling, you may certainly ask us about it. Please be aware that full team rulings are generally final, however, since they were made for good reasons and agreed to by all the active Mods. In all situations, we try to do what's best for MRO as a whole. This may not always be what's best for any single member, regrettably, as in the case of bannings.
On that note: we like MRO. We assume everyone playing here does, too. For that reason, we don't take suspensions/bannings lightly. If a member is doing something wrong, we'll try to resolve the issue through PMs first, and offer as many 'second chances' as we can: suspensions and bannings are an extreme measure that have rarely, rarely been used in MRO's history. A banning takes a unanimous vote from all active Mods.
The Mod Board of DOOM
This is the Mods-only board where we discuss major site concerns, iron out the details of approved site-wide plots, and toss around ideas for improving the site. It's not as scary as it looks. We just occasionally have things to discuss that the entire site shouldn't be able to follow like a gossip column; the Mod Board lets us keep player concerns confidential.
PS: Rumors of Mod cookies, Mod brandy, and a Mod private masseuse are greatly exaggerated. It's not awesome in there. You're not missing anything. At all. >.>
New Mod Selection
As older Mods retire/go inactive, and as MRO grows, the need for new Moderators arises. When it does, the current Team will send a "call out" for new Mod applications.
I'm afraid that outside of call outs, we do not accept applications for new Mods. If you'd like to help the site as a Mod, start by helping the site as a player. What MRO needs most are active, dedicated members. Coincidentally, that's one of the key factors we look for when choosing new Mods.
As a member of MRO, your opinion counts! If you have a question, comment, concern, or suggestion, please post on the Suggestions board or e-mail the <MutantRevolver@gmail.com> account. We're always interested in ways to make MRO a better place, both IC and out. <3

Ahem.
We, ah, also have two new skins: X-Fools DearHunter
Please, emm, enjoy them at your leisure. The Cyclops rendition in X-Fools was done by Abyss, as was Li'l Miss Polkdots in DearHunter; DearHunter collage put together by no one who wishes to claim credit for it while she's fighting the man to the death. *cough*
*smile*
Aaaaand my skin making privileges are officially revoked. Woo!

PS: Remember, the Future Plot doesn't begin until September. We've posted this announcement early in order to give you all time to think through your character's power growths/weaknesses, and to decide what they'll be doing ten years from now.
Take your time, think it through, and send that e-mail to the MutantRevolver@yahoo.com account when you feel ready! There is no rush on things.

Our next site-wide plotline is the Future Plot. It will begin and end with the OOC school year (starting in September 2008, and ending in April/May of 2009).
The time: 10 years in the future
. While the Future Plot lasts, we will be able to play as our future selves. We will remember all of the history leading up to the Future Plot--ie, we won't just wake up one day and wonder what is going on; if your character has gone to college and is now working as a doctor, they will remember everything that has happened to them from the Current time until the Future.
There will be no site-wide scripting: this will be a mostly free-form plot for character development. One common element will unite us all: nine years ago--in the Summer of 2009--a group of New York-based mutant supremacists called the Order unleashed upon the world a devastating virus known as Haywire.[/ul]
The Haywire Virus:
. For more on how the Haywire Virus was developed IC in 2007, please read up on the KP incident.[/ul]
The Setting:
The World:
The Haywire Virus struck here as in the rest of the world; however, in 2018, the main viral threat in Africa remains the AIDS virus. Political conditions are about what they were in 2008.
Antarctica Tired of the same-old same-old hate and fear, a group of mutants has established an all-mutant colony in remote Antarctica. Their beautiful home is a sculpted dome of ice raised by resident ice manipulators; they live in self-sufficient comfort with thanks to resident fire manipulators, crop manipulators, healers, and others. They have also stabilized the Antarctic ice shelves from the corrosive effects of global climate change. They are open and friendly to visitors, but if you'd like to stay long, they'd like to see a demonstration of your X-gene, please.
Asia Fears of the Haywire Virus prompted China to brand all of its mutant citizens as public health risks: this lead to mass imprisonment, with rumors of mass graves hidden somewhere out of the foreign media's sight. Many of China's mutant citizens and their families have fled over China's borders into Mongolia and Russia, where they live in refugee camps. Prompted by the global climate change which is rapidly cooling all of northern Europe and Asia, Russia is welcoming these mutants with open arms, embracing them as potential saviors from failing crops and creeping cold. China, however, is demanding the immediate return of their citizens. Russia is denying their demand, and escalating border skirmishes between the two large nations are becoming more common.
Australia When the Haywire Virus struck, Australia's human population took one of the heaviest blows. Now, its resident mutants are in a violent power struggle with the few remaining humans for political control of the world's only island continent. Their goal: repression of the unworthy human population.
Canada In a bizarre twist, the Haywire Virus proved to effect only three species on the planet: mutants, humans, and... moose. The virus twisted the genetic code of these large antlered herbivores in a way that left them with mutant-like abilities. Canada is now well known for its Telekinetic Moose, who repel all bodily threats with an omni-directional force pulse that can easily send a seven member wolf pack flying for twenty feet in all directions. Since they also cause massive property damage when they wander into suburban areas--and since their sudden lack of natural predators has caused a dramatic population expansion--there is a substantial bounty on the heads of all Telekinetic Moose. Hunters from all parts of the globe are flocking in for a shot at these strange new creatures. Casual bounty hunters beware: a single Telekinetic Moose has been known to send twenty of Canada's Armored Anti-Moose Mounties flying with a single pulse.
Europe The Haywire Virus was the least of Europe's concerns. In 2012, as the last of the perennial Arctic ice caps melted, the Gulf Stream collapsed, depriving Europe of the warm air currents it has historically enjoyed and setting into effect what scientists are beginning to call the European Ice Age. Fueled by a more globally conscious fear, many European governments are turning to mutants for their answers: charter schools such as the Pax Academy, which specialize in raising humans and mutants side-by-side with strong socio-ethical principles, are beginning to gain in popularity as politicians and spiritual leaders advocate an age of mutants using their powers publically for the good of all. Many of China's fleeing citizens have gone straight through Russia and ended up in Europe. Most of the continent has switched within a mere decade from the usual fear and hatred to a warm embrace of mutants and their abilities. The belief that the power to restart the Gulf Stream and rescue Europe from wide-spread crop failures and increasingly longer winters lies with mutants has reached almost messianic proportions.
South America A death here in 2010 made Brazil one of the richest nations in the world: an oil manipulating mutant, infected by the Haywire Virus, lost control of his powers and was gunned down by local police. Not before he had brought a long undiscovered deposit of oil to the surface. With oil at $607.87 a barrel and rising, South American politics have suddenly become of great interest to world leaders.
The United States of America Life goes on in America much as it always has. McGrease King still deep-fries its burgers, the Home Shopping Network still has 12-carrot diamond bracelets, and not much has changed in ten years. The Order, the X-Men, and the Kabal still operate in New York, and public opinion towards mutants is about what it was.[/ul]
What You Need to Do to Join: The Future Plot is non-mandatory. If you don't want your character to participate, they don't need to. While the Future Plot is going on, the "Current" time will also exist: ie, you can keep playing normally. All Future Plot threads will be marked with an "FP" in their title to designate them. For example: "[FP] Katrina's Bedroom" would mark the "Katrina's Bedroom" thread taking place in 2018. If you don't want to play in the Future, just avoid the FP threads. Every player will be allowed to run three threads during this time: either two in the Current time and one in the Future, or two in the Future and one in Current time.
If you are interested in joining this plot, you must:
Send to the MutantRevolver@yahoo.com account an e-mail with your character's planned Future powers and weaknesses/limitations. Power growths for the Future are allowed, and even expected: remember, though, you can not and can never be all-powerful. Be creative, but keep things within reason. All power growths should be directly related to powers your characters already have.
After your Future powers/weaknesses have been accepted, you may create a Future Plot attribute profile. All players will have up to 100 attribute points available to them; use them wisely, and send your attribute profile to MutantRevolver@yahoo.com (after your powers are approved).
Players should add their approved powers to their profile for ease of look-up. A section on "how you got where you are" history to bridge the 10 year gap is also suggested, but not required--but it could be fun to write! If you're feeling really motivated, you may create an entire "Future Plot Profile", using the normal profile formatting but making it for how your character will be ten years from now. It's recommended that you post such a profile below your normal profile, if you choose to make one.
Ending the Plot:
to remember what their characters did in the Future Plot, so feel free to do things you might feel inhibited with in the current time; ie, I could have Calley be revealed as a spy in the Future Plot, but ask that no one remembers that detail when we wake up in the Current time. This is a "What If?" scenario plotline; a chance to explore things with your character that you might not, otherwise. Enjoy it![/ul]
A Note on Technology: With all the havoc that the Haywire Virus caused, large advances in technology would be a little unrealistic. Electric cars, more advanced holograms, and cell phone reception on every inch of the planet are attainable, but personal scooters that travel at the speed of light and teleporting machines are out. Just remember: we're a mutations site, not a technology site.
A Note For New/Returning Members: Members who join MRO later then July 31 or who have been inactive for long stretches of time will be asked to wait at least a month before they send in their Future powers/weaknesses to the MutantRevolver@yahoo.com account. This is so they have time to get their character settled in the Current timeline. Once they have read up on the Future Plotline and are feeling comfortable in our community, they may join the Future Plotline if they so choose. A good rule of thumb is that if you're still asking "...What's going on?", you are not ready to join.
In Conclusion: Start thinking of your Future powers/weaknesses, and send them to the MutantRevolver@yahoo.com account!

Yet another reminder: movin' to Japan for a year, and going on vacation to New Jersey directly before that, so I shall most likely be inactive for a bit. I have full intents to return just as soon as I secure me a nice internet connection in my new apartment. Though with luck, it's already got one.
I may be able to get on for sporadic posts now and then, but don't expect me to be as active as usual until further notice. I'll probably just be popping in to post up some solo posts, so that I'm not leavin' people hangin' on their threads...
For those who don't know, I run Calley/Slate, Rupert, and the mod account Historian.

PS: As Silver Streak said, putting the following code in your signature will give you a link back to your profile. We do require all players to do this, as a courtesy to the folks you RP with, who need to be able to quickly look up your profile.
A 13 year old girl, Jacquelyn “Jack” Guy, possessed a dangerous mutation: any human who came near her became deathly ill, and any mutant experienced an uncontrollable surge of power: their mutation went “haywire”. The Order rescued Jack and many other mutants who were being held at a research facility, but kept her at King Pharmaceuticals for their own dastardly schemes. In the following days, a string of seemingly random mutant and human kidnappings made little stir in the NYC news, but changed the lives of those involved. These captives were brought to King Pharmaceuticals, imprisoned, and subjected to exposure to Jack's powers. From these tests, the Order developed a prototype “Haywire virus”: injected into mutants, it causes temporary power boosts at the cost of severe hallucinations. Its effect on humans has yet to be tested.
The X-Men caught wind of the nefarious goings-on at KP, and set out in force to take Jack from the Order's custody. As they rolled out of the Mansion's garage at full throttle, a lone vehicle was dropping off the subject of a field-test at their front gates: Iris, infected with the Haywire virus. As the Order and the X-Men fought an inconclusive fight on the steps of King Pharmaceuticals which caught national attention and hastened the passing of the Mutant Registration Law, the students of the Mansion were desperately working as a team to calm a terrified—and unimaginably dangerous—Iris. Though they left the fight with Jack, the X-Men returned to a Mansion which was half-destroyed, and students who were reeling from their own fight. (PS: Ted helped a great deal in the Mansion destruction, when an Iris-induced injury made him furry for a time. )
In all the chaos, it is safe to say that no one paid particular attention to the house cat who briefly groomed its fur outside of the X-Men's war room. Back at Mondragon Labs, a powerful mutant by the name of Hunter Antonescu set into motion his own plans. As the X-Men and the Order flaunted their public brawl and the Mansion frosted over, the Kabal was founded.

Hello, your friendly neighborhood Mods here.
As some of you know, we dish out points for attribute profiles after main plots wrap up. As the Registration Plotline is officially over, now... We'd like to get those points to you pronto. So here's what we need from you:
1) Number of posts you've made in MAIN PLOT THREADS (see list below) 2) Number of posts you've made in PERSONAL plot-related threads (ie: camp jobs, threads around the Labs, threads in good ol' Stalker-patrolled NYC, etc--basically, any non-main-threads you've been in since the plot began) 3) Number of posts you've made USING AN NPC that has helped to further the plotline (ie, Melissa Rivers, who brought people into the Resistance; Natalie and Gwendolyn, who helped around the Infirmary; etc)
For those of you who have been using "One Bill to rule them all" to keep track of your threads, this should be relatively easy.
Once you have that information, POST IT ON THIS THREAD, using this format:
Character name 1) Main Thread Posts: 2) Personal Thread Posts: 3) NPC Posts:
Example:
Calley/Slate 1) Main Thread Posts: 7 2) Personal Thread Posts: 361 3) NPC Posts: 24
To count your posts: Literally, go to the threads you have been in during this plot line. Count the number of IC posts you have made in each thread. Add them together. Submit that number. Do NOT count any OOC posts you have made. Do NOT just take the number of posts your profile has said you've made, and put that down. Do NOT make me eat your soul. Thank you.
Note: It's fine to put "0" down, for any of the three.
In a few days, we will determine the number of attribute points everyone has earned; at that time, you will receive a PM in your Inbox with the number of attribute points you have to add to your profile. At which point you may decide where to put them, and start flooding the Statistician's Inbox with your modified profiles.
If you do not post the info we just requested, you WILL NOT RECIEVE ANY ATTRIBUTE POINTS FOR THE REGISTRATION PLOTLINE.
DEADLINE: August 31 (aka, you have more than enough time to wrap up posts and get these counts in. Let's just get 'em done before the Future Plot, ne?)
Thanks, all.
Main Plot-Related Threads: Camp Inmates: Registration Day One (Mansion residents get registered) Registration Day Two (Sanctuary residents get registered) Men's Side of the Camp Women's Side of the Camp Gwendolyn's Side of the Camp (Infirmary thread) The Camp Thread
Resistance: Gathering the Resistance Breakfast Planning the Resistance Hide and Seek (including all side-threads) Catching a Stalker (meeting) CAS Smash and Grab (or any of its side-threads) Secrets of the Mob End Game
Both: Search Party (Mansion Raid) And it all hits the fan... (Sanctuary Raid) Stage 1, the Airdrop Stage 2, the Ground Assault (and all side-threads) Stage 3, the Retreat

MRO Timeline
Note: This is NOT required information to get started RPing!
This timeline is for people who like knowing what's come before in the storyline; only characters that were actually in the thick of things would even know about most of this, so if you're a new member, you don't need to read this unless it interests you. For some plots, a more detailed summary is posted here.
default color = public knowledge, and fair game for all to know from newspapers, the internet, etc. this color = things your character won’t know unless they learn them IC from another PC
Fall/Winter 2005
MRO was founded in October. Following the events on another (rather dying) X-Men RP, Xavier’s Sister School was rebuilt and reopened, with Tricity, Cassiel, and Daria as its first X-Leaders.
Spring/Summer 2006
An errant faction of the US Military, under the command of General Whitmore, began a plot to control mutants using strangely powered gemstones. A mysterious virus briefly struck through the Mansion’s students, as well.
Fall 2006
Several Mansion students were kidnapped by General Whitmore, and taken to the labs of Doctor Fusionist for experimentation; the X-Men rescued them, destroying the labs and its creators in the process.
The Order was founded by Dorian King, aka Oppressor. Mr. King was the wealthy owner of King Pharmaceuticals. In a generous philanthropic move, he constructed an upscale homeless shelter known as the Sanctuary; with its golden front doors, it was destined to become one of the city’s new icons. At the grand opening in November, however, Isabel Duskmoor and two other unidentified mutants ( Syn and Raptor) started a deadly riot that became known as the Sanctuary Police Massacre. (At this point in time, the Sanctuary welcomed both humans and mutants; mutants were lodged semi-secretly in the Sanctuary’s lower levels, and Order members were recruited from their ranks. The Sanctuary has been public knowledge since its conception. The Order wasn’t, and still isn’t.)
Winter 2006/2007
The Order raided a medical facility, acquiring Jacquelyn “Haywire” Guy, whose mutant ability killed all humans around her and caused mutant powers to boost far beyond their owner’s control.
Spring 2007
The Order kidnapped mutants and humans off the streets and brought them to King Pharmaceuticals for experimentations. Their aim: to create a “Haywire virus,” with which they could bring humanity to its knees.
The Order’s leadership passed to Syn. The X-Men caught wind of the Haywire kidnappings, and the first KP brawl ensued.
Fall 2007
The US Congress passed a nationwide Mutant Registration Law; those who did not immediately comply—or those with “dangerous” mutations—were tossed into the Camps. Both the Mansion and the Sanctuary were destroyed in government raids. Those who escaped came together at Mondragon Labs, where New York’s Mutant Resistance was formed.
Winter 2007/2008
The Camps sucked.
Spring 2008
In a bloody breakout, the Resistance succeeded in freeing the inmates of the New York Camps. Meanwhile, in California, a lawsuit that had been working its way up the legal system finally reached the Supreme Court: in one sweeping vote, the Registration Law was overturned. Erickson v. California, 553 U.S. 580 (2008). The damage it did, however, continues to linger. (New members: If your character was living in the US during this time frame, they would know about the Registration Law and the Camps. If they were a mutant, they either had to hide their power from authorities, voluntarily register, temporarily leave the country, or get tossed in their own state’s Camps. We recommend the first option, since it saves you knowing any in-depth plot details.)
Summer 2008
The Mansion and the Sanctuary were rebuilt; the Sanctuary gained a new reputation for being unsafe grounds for humans to tread.
Fall 2008
(The Future Plot started. Premise: The Order released its Haywire virus ten years in the past: now, in 2018, our characters were dealing with its global repercussions. This plotline was a collective dream shared by some—but not all—people around the world. If you were not an active member during this plot, your character would not have shared in this dream.)
Winter 2008/2009
Slate took over the Kabal. Caleb "Slate" Swartz became the CEO of the newly re-named Mondragon Labs Medical.
(The Future Plot headed into WWIII. Hello, thermonuclear chemical agricultural ebolapox mutant human warfare. Oh, and Adapteds in Australia, a mutant colony in Antarctica, and telekinetic meese in Canada.)
The first PC Adapted hit MRO's screen. Adapteds have since become a persistent plot element at MRO.
The Future Plot dreamers woke up, with scattered memories of what they’d seen. In order to destroy the Haywire virus before its release, they converged on King Pharmaceuticals, destroying both building and virus in the resulting brawl. The Order's Leader was reportedly killed by a traitorous member of her own team, throwing the Order into grief and confusion; Lori Faust stepped in to fill this power void as the Order’s new Leader. King Pharmaceuticals was rebuilt as Faust Pharmaceuticals.
Fall/Winter 2009-2010
In response to the growing number of police deaths, the X-Men have put themselves on call to aid the NYPD as special deputies.
Romania, in an ill-planned repeat of history, passed its own Mutant Registration Act in November 2009. All Factions converged there. Through dangers untold and through hardships unnumbered, the law was overturned on January 1, 2010.
While the X's were away, the X-Kids played. With a giant clay Cthulhu, who attacked Central Park on Christmas Eve.
Spring/Summer 2010
Muse arrived, fresh from a Russian bride mail order. City-wide illusions, neural bombs, and the destruction of Mondragon Labs via tornado followed (...it got better). To the general public, it sure seems like large-scale mutant power displays are getting more and more common. Freaking power boosters.
The Order embarked on its Drug Plot, with the creation of two drugs: a legal drug to awaken inactive X-genes, and a street drug to give straight-laced humans a little taste of mutant power, simply called "M." These drugs have become persistent plot elements at MRO.
Spring 2011
Slate turned the Kabal over to Lenna, unaware that his trusted employee was a double agent for the Order. An Order/Kabal merger followed; Mondragon Labs is now part of the Order's turf, and the Kabal's members either joined the Order or went their separate ways. Lenna Solderberg became the public CEO of Mondragon Labs Medical.
Age of Sebastian Archive. in the regular timeline, an immortal unicorn with delusions of godhood began gathering his apostles and granting them immortality. Three years in the future, our characters dream of the end of the world—an apocalyptic setting brought on by something the unicorn will trigger, here and now.
Winter 2012/2013
Riot Plot Archive. Tensions between humans and mutants rose when a video depicting police brutality against a young mutant hit the internet. They rose further when the cops involved were exonerated. And when the cops attacked a high-profile mutant reporter and proved how unrepentant they really were? All hell broke lose. A week of rioting in the streets followed, with some mutants trying to put out the flames, and some just watching the world burn.
Fall/Winter 2015
Ambrose Jaager, CEO of Jaager Worldwide, formed Ragnarok, a chaos cult bent on destroying society as it exists, and building a new world from the ashes. He established a secret facility beneath the New York headquarters of Jaager Worldwide, and began recruiting.
A mysterious benefactor donated "Monitoring Emergency Tactical Automatons" or META bots to the NYPD in an attempt to curb the rate of police deaths when faced with mutant criminals. Controversy arose as the robots nearly immediately began to malfunction, causing several public incidents. While some malfunctions were certainly the result of damage, or bugs in the coding several key incidents were orchestrated by Ragnarok, through young Technopath Panu Harmaajävi, Ambrose Jaager's adopted son.
The Order dissolved after years of decline, its members unable to hold their hard gained turf in Brooklyn for want of leadership and direction. Thus ended their long reign as chief villainous group, though some insisted their glory days could be restored.
Summer 2016
June 24th saw the news break of the bombing of a mutant shelter in Odessa, Texas. This news sparked protests calling for peace across the country, the first in NYC, the mutant capital of the country, where the X-men made a public statement calling for calm.
In the wake of the Odessa attack, protests continued over the country. Some, however, were not content with peace. Violent attacks became increasingly common, and increasingly audacious. Ragnarok claimed many of the mutant perpetrated attacks though they were responsible for just as much of the anti-mutant violence. The violence peaked one month after the Odessa attack with the catastrophic Ragnarok bombing of most bridges and tunnels into and out of Manhattan, and the massive riots that followed.
Four days after the riots begin, Ambrose Jaager came forward with a plan for peace. With the assistance of emotion manipulating pheromones Jaager rallied the gathered crowd behind the idea of a nation solely for mutants that he dubbed "Utopia".
Fall 2016
Talk of Utopia continued, creating riffs in the population, while the newly completed settlement opened its doors for the first tours.
Winter 2017
Utopia was destroyed by a covert government group.
Haven, a faction with the goal of creating a safe world for mutants, was created by Devon Hadden.
Spring 2017
After the loss of its leader and a decline in member motivation, Ragnarok dissolved. The chaotically-minded people of New York once again began to roam the streets alone.
Strange occurrences of time anomalies began to become more frequent, boggling the minds of scientists and civilians alike.
