MRO is an intermediate to advanced writing level original character, original plot X-Men RPG. We've been open and active since October of 2005. You can play as a mutant, human, or Adapted— one of the rare humans who nullify mutant powers by their very existence. Goodies, baddies, and neutrals are all welcome.

Taken Mutations
These are the mutations currently in use by our active characters. For more information on a character's power, click the links to read their profile. We give our active members a minor degree of "veto rights" over new characters: if you have a very clear overlap an existing character's abilities, the mods may deem the power to be worth a veto request, and the active member will be given four days to decide whether or not they want to permit the overlap.
This list is checked once a month. If you spot something that needs changing in the meantime, please email the Mods at <MutantRevolver@gmail.com>.
Psychics—please read! At MRO, we do not consider all psychic abilities to be inherently related: telekinesis, force fields, telepathy, empathy, etc, are all separate and distinct abilities here. They're plenty strong enough on their own without mashing them all together, so please only apply for one on your psychic character!
The "Psychic" sections below also contain non-psychics who achieve a similar effect--ie, mind manipulation through pheromone use--to make it easier to look for overlaps in effects.
