MRO is an intermediate to advanced writing level original character, original plot X-Men RPG. We've been open and active since October of 2005. You can play as a mutant, human, or Adapted— one of the rare humans who nullify mutant powers by their very existence. Goodies, baddies, and neutrals are all welcome.

As I'm sure you've noticed, MRO has a new default look about it. We're attempting to find a 'decaf' version to present to possible new members, one that is calm and easy to load.

Okay, we've already heard some comments about the plain grey background being a bit dull. Any other color suggestions, keeping in mind that the board backgrounds remain black?
A textured background has also been suggested, or possibly a gradient color.

I actually like the plain black background. It'll change once you log in anyway- and you can still pick whatever wallpaper you like. We can always add how to do it in the newb guide. I think the plain black is less distracting- I found the old wall paper too busy.
Im glad we got rid of the scrolling text and I like the overall tidiness of it!
All right, here's another idea for consideration. This is a tiled version of Calliope's textured swirlies. The gray has been saved as DefaultTwo, for those of you who would prefer it.

lol you guys are funny. The only thing I dont like about our wall paper features is how you can see the seams in every image. I'd find it better if it was one solid image - i.e. my background has rogue and gambit but it looks soooo messy >.< because it's tialed
Also, if anyone would like to volunteer to help out, please PM one of us Mods with details.
