The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

“Happy Birthday! after this, lets go get you a present.”
Presents where always good, unless they exploded or something. And if she would be getting some nice presents that would be good too. "Thank you." She said all happy and excited. The things that ran through her head now where definantly pumping her up. She never had birthdays in the asylum and the only gift her father ever gave her was the mask, which was quite handy from time to time. Eventually the cake arrived and Cailyn took a piece. She raised the mask she wore a bit so she could eat. She only took a small piece of cake seeing as excitement made her not hungry.
He finished his cake pretty quickly. “So, where do you want to go to shop?”
The jolly red man could eat like a jolly red man should. very fast. She however wasn't so fast and her piece was smaller. "I don't know." She said. She liked puzzles so she suggested something. "Puzzle shop?" she asked.
"Again, my name is Tricity. Well, my real name is Delilah, but mostly everyone calls me Tricity. I'm a mutant too and I house other mutants here in this mansion to keep them safe."
She explained where she was and everything. If she would believe here then this wasn't a prison but a house with a freakingly prisonlooking basement. She still hid her head between her legs. She understood it all but she had a hard time thrusting people.
"Your mutation... It's beautiful. It reminds me of when I was a little girl and used to go to church every Sunday." She moved a little closer as she talked, only within a few feet now of the girl. "We don't have to stay in her if you don't want to. Would you like something to eat? Um.. maybe some of that birthday cake you were eating before?"
She remembered church too, only she had never been there and only heard of it. House of religion, whatever that ment. As far as her father raised her she was a atheist. However a complement was a complement and she was raised that she should thank people for complements. "Thank you." She said with a sniff. After that she asked if she was hungry. With all the comotion she didn't feel hungry but she did want to get out of here. "I'm not hungry." She said.
As she entered the bookstore the ghostly girl she knew from a time back took her hand and shook it. She was taken by suprise and her entire arm was being shook around by the shaking of her hand. It was weird that she ran into her again even if it was her bookstore without Cailyn knowing that. Specially since again there where people who protested against mutants. Atleast she picked something like that up from the minds of some people sitting around in a corner somewhere.
The not so blind person talked to them and they seemed to dislike him allot. He however remained calm and Cailyn found it strange. She took back her hand and moved behind him looking at him with a tilted head. He did something strange but she didn't know what. Then all of the sudden a fight broke out.
The doorman was fighting a protestor. Violence always scared Cailyn and she eeped at the sight of it. She planted herself against a bookcase and dropped herself down on the floor to protect herself if needed. The fight was over rather quickly but the protesters outside weren't all to happy. The protester who needed help wasn't to happy either. Somebody wanted to help him but he didn't agree with the help he was about to receive. Cailyns whispers doomed down upon her with all the comotion that was in the bookstore. She clinched her head and her song filled the room. She just wanted everybody to calm down and leave her alone while she could pick herself up. Seemingly her powers listened for once and she started making people more relaxed and less hatefull towards each other. Ofcourse people would soon notice that they where being influenced but it would atleast bring some peace and quietness for a while.
The red, jolly man wanted to share his birthday with her. She was happy and confused at the same time. She jumped up with her hands in the air and said:" Yay !" "What now?" She asked confused but in a nice way. “Happy Birthday! after this, lets go get you a present.”
She was happily suprised by the sound of presents and cake. Two of her most favorite things in the world and she had missed those for a really long time. The red, jolly man ordered cake and continued the story. Cailyn couldn't sit still anymore out of excitement and happyness and she rocked back and forth in the chair next to the jolly red man.
Round and round did the door go with Cailyn inside. It was fun to go round and round since you would be woozy and twisty when you get out. Somebody even was sharing the fun. It was the kitty cat lady she met someday. Her tail was always fun and she looked at it while pushing the door. “Don’t you want to go inside?”
She nodded in a no-ward way and she continued doing as she was. She began to feel the woozy ness that was fun but suddenly the door halted and there was a scream. The soft, fury tail of the kitty cat lady was stuck between the door. What had she done. She turned around and wanted to help in a panic. Kitty cat ladies shouldn't have their tails between door. She wanted to reach for it but halted halfway in a panic. What if she pulled it of. She didn't know what to do and that was easily read of her face.
She began to apoligize as people where starting to do what she didn't dare to. "Sorry sorry sorry sorry sorry." She began to rant as the door was being melted down by a pretty lady. The door was loose and the tail was saved. She stayed behind the cat lady and apoligesed some more. "I didn't mean to." She said with a sad voice.
"Listen... I'm not sure who you are, but I'm not going to hurt you and I'd really appreciate it if you would do me and my residents here the same courtesy," Tricity spoke softly. "My name is Tricity. We met downstairs, do you remember?"
Cailyn didn't hear half of what she said as she was panicing. She didn't know where she was, how she got here and why she was here. He lower lip started shaking and she started to cry out of fear and panic. Ofcourse the mental voices weren't exactly conforting her. She places her hands around her knees and put her head between her legs completly hiding her head. "This is not real." She started to say. "This isn't happening again, not again , not ever again." She continued saying to herself while she cried. The soft song returned to the room. She was scared and she didn't want things to return to the ways they where before she was freed.
Tricity turned back to the balled up mutant. "What's your name?"
Her name, they wanted to know her name. But for what ends. Was it for registration or something. Did they want to contact her Father. She didn't want to tell them her name. "I don't want to." She simply said a bit more to herself then to the people around her still hiding her head between her legs.
Fluffy sheep and icecream where indeed a fun dream to have. She was petting a particular fluffy sheep in her dream when suddenly a shock went through her body. The fluffly sheep where replaced with a bright light that shined down into her eyes. Was she dead, was this heaven....no. A bright light after fluffy sheep ment she was awake and that was not the only part. It ment that everything was working proparly and her head was being filled up with voices and whispers. It all came a bit suprised as normally she would wake up slowly and not all of the sudden like this.
Her eyes shot open and her body fell back on the bed. With a moment of confusion she looked at the two people standing beside her bed and then everything kicked in. She grabbed her head and with eyes wide open she started screaming and kicking. She quickly shot out of bed and put herself in the corner and curled up defensivly with her eyes focused on the two people standing there. Who where they and beter yet, what where their intentions with her. Everything was weird for her and all she did now was curl up and try to figure things out. This almost looked like the same situations she got in at the asylum only this time there where no bulky men in white outfits to boss her around. Now there was a women and a doctor but ofcourse they could be having bad intentions towards her ofcourse.
“Well then I think Today should be your birthday as well, What do you think?”
The jolly red man wanted to share his birthday with her. How could that be, by her logic your birthday is something you own. She scratched her head in a thinking manner. "But but." She started to sputter. "But it is your birthday now." "How can it be mine then?" She asked. It was a bit confusing for her but that is what you get for not having a birthday.
The jolly red man ordered the drink that Cailyn oggled and he continued reading. Cailyn leaned with her elbows on his shoulders and her hand supporting her head as she watched the pages turn and the story continue. It was exciting with a wizard and a king. It was getting late and Cailyn got sleepy. The story was very exciting but excitement was tiring.
Cailyn frowned at what pix said. She didn't thrust here and she thought she wasn't the real thing. How could it be that pix still didn't believe her to be the real Cailyn even though she had shown her the memories. This also raised the question how many mind manipulators did pix know. How could she indeed convince pix that she was the real Cailyn. She pondered that though for a second and started blurting out stuff. "Slow down, you confusing me." She said.
Everything that pix was saying came so fast towards Cailyn, it was all a big blur eventually. "Change can be good , little pixy." She said. "I grew up somehow. " She added with a smile. "I even conquered my father." She said a bit softer as if she was ashamed of it. Not that it mattered, it had to be done. She shook it of. "Never the less i can assure you i'm the real deal." She added with a smile as she straightened her glasses.
Cailyn was out on the town today. She passed some streets she was familiar with. She had been here before but it was all cloudy. That was mostly when she used her powers somewhere and she tries to recall those moments. She pondered for a while what she did around these parts but it went blank as if she wasn't meant to know.
Cailyn passed a man who was being intervieuwed by reporters. Well she realized it when she skipped by him behind his back to eventually find out he was on tv. She appeared back behind the man as he gave a interview and she tilted her head at the camera. So that was a camera, she had never seen a real one before. Well she didn't count the security camera's at the sanctuary. She examined them, moving around a bit. Luckely she didn't bother the people since they simply continued. When the people where done the man with the cane passed on into a bookstore.
The man went through the revolving doors of the store. That seemed fun and when the man was through she entered the doors. She didn't exit them though, she continued to spin and spin and spin, seeing people inside and outside. They would probably find her strange, though it wasn't a lie. She simply was strange to the normal world.
“Before we continue I have a question to ask, When is your birthday? I want to be able to return the favor.”
The 1 million dollar question that made Cailyn think. Her birthday was long forgotten by her and her father was a big issue in that. She placed her finger on her chin and pondered deeply by watching to the ground with a thinking face. Several times she raised her finger in a attempt to answer but then pulled it back into thinking mode. She eventually shrugged and looked at Abyss with a smile and said: " I dont know." It wasn't weird for her to not know certain stuff but normal people found it weird that she didn't know her own birthday.
“do you want anything to drink or eat?”
Drink or eat. She rubbed her tummy and it didn't respond. No food for her. No dry throuth seeing as she could talk normally so no need for a drink though the waiter had sparkly stuff on his tray. "Yes , please." She said as she oggled what was on the tray of the waiter as well as what was on the table behind him.
The boy figured it out. Atleast he had courage, but it was time to see if he had the brains too. Hymn let the boy think he plumited through the ravine gently landing on the floor of a black room with a door that would lead to a very dark and ominous room with 3 archways. In every archway there where different numbers or gems in different colors present. The archway to the left had 2 blue gem in it. The archway in front had 4 red gems in it and the archway to the right had 3 green ones. In the middle was a slate that read: "Your wisdom will be put to the test in the chamber ahead. Use your lifetime experience: from the crawling infant; to the man standing tall; and finally to the old man-leaning on his cane."
This was something Cailyn herself could never conjure up in her normal state, this was clearly under the influence of her whispers. Nevertheless, this was her training ground and he was trespassing. She could not be held responsible for what she was doing to the boy, even if it was scarring his mind for life.
“You look like someone I know.” Petunia said as the penny was lifted up and offered to her. “Are you sure you know me?”
Cailyn rolled her eyes as the bee tilted herself. The silly bee-lady didn't know who she was, but Cailyn knew who she was. She could ofcourse explain to the bee who she was but there where other means that she could show her. By concentrating a soft hymn emerged around them and Cailyn showed the bee there last encounter with each other at a fast pace. It would look like a taperecorder that was fast-forwarded. After done that the hymn faded and Cailyn took of her glasses. "Did that help?" She asked with a smile still holding the penny for her thoughts.
