The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Cailyn, with her new position as teacher hasn't found a decent moment to visit the sanctuary in a long time. With the entire virus deal going on and their ways towards humans, they have been in a bad light and with her newly found sanity it sounded scary to go back. Never the less, they have always been good to her and they desirved a little visit by her. Atleast to catch up on thing.
She passed by the golden doors a couple of times. It looked like they tightened up security. She stood in front of the doors trying to build up courage to just walk through the door. But who would greet her, maybe a new radical mutant who didn't like her colorful outfit and glasses. She remembered mutants who stole her prices from the cereal boxes or the remote. Those people weren't very nice but they needed shelter and food just like the rest. Eventually she conjured up her courage and opened the door. She stood in the large hallway and softly asked: "Hello, anyone there ? "
This lady that kept crossing the front of the Sanctuary, had become quite a peculiar sight for a little Be that made it her personal business to Buzz around and find out what she could about anything and everything. Today happened to be a slow news day, and the stories weren’t looking good for tomorrow either, so Pix had been literally Buzzing around the Sanctuary doors waiting with the ut most patients and consintra-- Oh look a shiny penny!
Pix dived out of the air, and completely lost track of the lady that had been crossing the golden doors. This penny was a heads up penny too. That meant good luck and the penny must be saved. Instantly the bumble bee started pushing the penny up on edge, with a buzzing grunt, soft velvety bee was then able to start rolling the penny towards the sanctuary doors just when the lady finally made up her mind and went inside. Nearly stepping on our Bee hero of loose change. The bee darted to the side just as the foot slammed down on the penny.
Alas poor Penny, Ya only knew salvation for a moment.
"Hello, anyone there ? "
Pix’s little by leg made a cross in the tiny bit of air in front of her, and then she darted up to hover next to the lady’s ear. “Of course there are people here. You should really watch where you’re going.” Then recognition hit her. “Hey! I know you.”

A little buzzing came from the small bee next to her. Cailyn literly picked up the penny for her thoughts out of her mind. Seemingly the penny was very interresting that was one the ground. The bee was very familiar to her and she definantly knew who it was. It was the pixy lady who rescued her from the Asylum 10 years ago or so. The bee talked to her and Cailyn straightened her glasses to take a closer look. "You remember me?" She asked with a smile. She picked up the penny that the pixy lady wanted to save and held it in front of the bee. "Penny for your thoughts?" She joked around showing of her newly devoloped social skills. It had been a while since the two of them spoke and Cailyn certainly changed for the beter to say the least. It was good to see that some people still where around the sanctuary and that she stil had friends here. It lifted her spirit knowing that she wasn't walking into a new sanctuary with strange people she never met before, that would have been akward.
Pix hovered there staring at her old fiend. Or at least the person she had thought was her friend. This lady wasn’t talking like her old friend use to. The bee hovered there in the air at eye level and tilted the little bee head. And being that Pix didn’t have that much of a neck, that means her entire bee body tilted.
“You look like someone I know.” Petunia said as the penny was lifted up and offered to her. “Are you sure you know me?”
“You look like someone I know.” Petunia said as the penny was lifted up and offered to her. “Are you sure you know me?”
Cailyn rolled her eyes as the bee tilted herself. The silly bee-lady didn't know who she was, but Cailyn knew who she was. She could ofcourse explain to the bee who she was but there where other means that she could show her. By concentrating a soft hymn emerged around them and Cailyn showed the bee there last encounter with each other at a fast pace. It would look like a taperecorder that was fast-forwarded. After done that the hymn faded and Cailyn took of her glasses. "Did that help?" She asked with a smile still holding the penny for her thoughts.
Pix was staring at the Penny. Why offer her a dead penny when the lay should know full well that Pix couldn’t use it. Then the images flashed in her head and the Bee dropped a good two feet, in a fast spiral before she recovered. “What the Hell!” Came the high pitched squeak.
“No. nononononono you’re not. My Cailyn doesn’t act like you and if you can do that then you can just pull images out of my head you psychic crazy thing… you” Pentunia’s rant was short lived and she thought up another thought. “However if you can go into my head you can see how Cailyn is supposed to act.” And how Pix had tried manipulating her. Scary thought on the whole knowing of manipulatons. But to finish the first thought… “And you’d be acting the way she was supposed to act, so you could be her, changed. Or you could be trying to make me thing you are her changed.” The bee zipped closer to Hymn’s face so the lady would have to cross her eyes to see Pix right in front of her nose. “Either way, I don’t like it!”
Cailyn frowned at what pix said. She didn't thrust here and she thought she wasn't the real thing. How could it be that pix still didn't believe her to be the real Cailyn even though she had shown her the memories. This also raised the question how many mind manipulators did pix know. How could she indeed convince pix that she was the real Cailyn. She pondered that though for a second and started blurting out stuff. "Slow down, you confusing me." She said.
Everything that pix was saying came so fast towards Cailyn, it was all a big blur eventually. "Change can be good , little pixy." She said. "I grew up somehow. " She added with a smile. "I even conquered my father." She said a bit softer as if she was ashamed of it. Not that it mattered, it had to be done. She shook it of. "Never the less i can assure you i'm the real deal." She added with a smile as she straightened her glasses.
Pix stopped as she was asked to, in the whole accusations. Even her own thought patterns were starting to make her head spin. Witch for a bee, a spinning head doesn’t feel good. Especially when flying. The little pix bee made a couple of tight circles, and then dropped down on Cailyn’s nose.
Mean while Cailyn went on and Pix seemed to perk up at the news of Cailyn conquering her father. Men sucked after all. “Really?” She buzzed in her high pitched voice. Pix shifted her little bee body so that she was standing on the side of the big lady’s nose and looking right into her left eye. “How did that feel?” The little bee’s front leg made the best bee fist it could as it pounded down on Cailyn’s nose. Probably making nothing more than a tickle. “So he won’t be bothering you anymore?”
The little bee landed on her nose. It tickled her. But back to the question. How did it feel indeed. It felt strange, exilirating and scary was something that that came to mind. But how would she explain that to the little bee lady. It was not that she knew what her father used to be capable off. "It felt weird." She said, and it wasn't a understatement. The fact that she sealed of his powers with her own, gaining more power herself was weird and unexplained. “So he won’t be bothering you anymore?”
"Indeed." She said. It was true, her father had no more powers to work with. His company was crushed by the fact that her father couldn't influence his way into deals etc. It was over for him. If he wanted to survive he would have to get a new job and start a new life and Cailyn hoped it was a life where she didn't play a part in. It was however funny to see a bee that was taking anger out of itself on her nose. it tickled but it was also funny to see a bee with a make fist slaming on her nose.
Pix's wings buzzed again. and she lifted off of Cailyn's nose. The bee darted around her her head, then off to about five feet away where she transormed into her human self. Minous propper cloths, but before anything that would be considered unmodest was formed, butterflie, and moths made a sort of design of cloths. They looked like a stylish skating out fit or dance leatard, when Pix had fully formed them. Reds and yellows swirling with a bright blue sort of butterfly making designs, that pix had long since memorized how to make without looking in a mirror.
"Well friend. If you want, I can pull some strings where he can get a job that he can easily be watched and tracked." Pix offered. She did have connections in the papers after all.
The pixy lady hoped of her nose and took her normal looks. She didn't have any clothes though so her body was covered in clothes made insect. Beautifull butterflies where among them. Cailyn liked butterflies. Cailyn cleaned her glasses as Pixylady started to speak again.
"Well friend. If you want, I can pull some strings where he can get a job that he can easily be watched and tracked."
It was a tempting offer but no. having him monitered was useless seeing as he was stripped of his powers and he would probably end up in jail soon for fraude or something."No need for that." She said with a smile as she put her glasses back on and used her index to put them straight. "He is harmless now." She continued with a smile. "So what have you been up to lately." She asked to catch up. Since she worked at the mansion she didn't have much time to look up her old friends. Now seemed like the perfect time to catch up with somebody she didn't see for a long time.
Petunia grinned at her old little manipulate. Pictures of pix from years ago looked exactly like pictures of her now. Not even new wrinkles had formed on Pix’s smooth face as her smile made slender creases from her nose to the corners of her mouth with the news of Cailyn’s father having no more power. She could only imagine what the girl had done to him, or wanted to imagine. Torture didn’t have to be something physically done, and that was something that Pix had grown to love about Hymn’s power. Something she once enjoyed trying to manipulate while guiding her and protecting her.
“Oh I’ve been up to pretty much the same old same old.” The tabloids had let her keep her identity hidden from the public, and she’d managed to keep it hidden from everyone else. “I do some hobby story writing, and last year, I bought another horse.” Because horse flies need something to land on and eat. “His name’s LocoMotion, and he’s drop dead gorgeous. Though he’s loco too. He chased one of the other horses into the fence a week ago.” He was a lot like his mommy Buggs. “He doesn’t play nice with others.”

Pix had been really busy by the sound of the story. First of all she didn't know pix had horses, or was in tabloids. Maybe she should do some more tabloid reading herself. Lots of people did it in their spare time. She herself however only read articles about biology. Biology seemingly turned into a hobby over the years. She didn't even read tabloids when she modeled.
"Horses sound fun." She said with a smile. "Well after my father was taken care of." She said with a hinting sound. "Something in my mind clicked together." She continued. "It was like something ended and something began." "I felt more assured and ready to grow up." "After that i modeled for a bit, got into school and got a degree in biology." "Guess i kind of grew up allot in the past years." She ended her story with a smile. That was what she had been doing the last years in a nutshel.
