The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Fluffy sheep and icecream where in the dreams of the girl who was laying in the bed. She wasn't supposed to be there seeing as she didn't even live there. She came here when the fighting started at the party and now she is laying unconsious in the infirmary. Her eyes where wide open and milky white and her body was floating half a inch above the bed she was laying on. A soft song floated around the room seeing as there was no consiousness that controled her body at the moment, her power slowly started seeping out her body. If the girl didn't wake up soon it would start to grow stronger and seep into the mind of others, making them think about other things that could be potentionaly dangerous towards them. Nontheless, the girl itself was harmlessly dreaming in her subconsiouness not know what is happening around her. Well she would just have to wait and she what the damage would become when she isn't there to control her body.
"She's in some sort of dream state," the Doc Prof began explaining to Tricity as his hands glowed brightly over the girl's floating body. "The song is obviously coming from her, but I can't see anything else beyond it."
Tricity crossed her arms over her chest in thought. "The same thing was happening downstairs where I found her. She wasn't very coherent. I have no idea who she is, do you?"
"No, I've never seen her before," he answered, dropping his glowing hands and looking around the room as if he could visually see the song. "I'm a little concerned on what the affect of the singing will have on everyone."
"I was thinking the same..." Tricity looked around and noticed the infirmary wasn't very crowded, but still, there were a few people being tended to. "Should we... wake her?"
The Doc Prof was silent for a few moments before answering. "I'm not really sure. I don't know what the reaction may be."
"Doc, she's a stranger in the house. I don't really feel so comfortable about her staying here and producing her mutation when we have no idea what it's going to do." Tricity had her hands on her hips, studying the girl's overall appearance. Nothing screamed fighter or 'bad guy', but all the same...
"Yes... yes, you are right." The Doc Prof cleared his throat and held his hands over the girl's unconscious body once more, using his mutation to see what had caused her coma like symptoms. "I'll try to reverse it and wake her."
Fluffy sheep and icecream where indeed a fun dream to have. She was petting a particular fluffy sheep in her dream when suddenly a shock went through her body. The fluffly sheep where replaced with a bright light that shined down into her eyes. Was she dead, was this heaven....no. A bright light after fluffy sheep ment she was awake and that was not the only part. It ment that everything was working proparly and her head was being filled up with voices and whispers. It all came a bit suprised as normally she would wake up slowly and not all of the sudden like this.
Her eyes shot open and her body fell back on the bed. With a moment of confusion she looked at the two people standing beside her bed and then everything kicked in. She grabbed her head and with eyes wide open she started screaming and kicking. She quickly shot out of bed and put herself in the corner and curled up defensivly with her eyes focused on the two people standing there. Who where they and beter yet, what where their intentions with her. Everything was weird for her and all she did now was curl up and try to figure things out. This almost looked like the same situations she got in at the asylum only this time there where no bulky men in white outfits to boss her around. Now there was a women and a doctor but ofcourse they could be having bad intentions towards her ofcourse.
As the girl's body fell from it's suspension, the Doc Prof and Tricity looked at one another and then back to the once unconscious patient. The girl's head turned slowly toward them for a moment before she let out horrific screaming and jumping from the bed. Tricity instinctively stepped in front of the old man and watched as the girl went darting for a corner of the room.
By now the few others in the infirmary were giving their full attention to the unfolding scene. Tricity nodded to the Doc Prof to move as many of the patients out as possible, but putting a finger to her lips to try and keep it quiet.
She moved across the room and took the opportunity to pull a surge of electricity inside her as the girl turned away to curl up unto herself. 'Can't take any chances,' she thought, slowly crouching lower and walking closer to the stranger. Tricity was in ten feet from her now and remained low to stay at the girl's level with her hands up in surrender.
"Listen... I'm not sure who you are, but I'm not going to hurt you and I'd really appreciate it if you would do me and my residents here the same courtesy," Tricity spoke softly. "My name is Tricity. We met downstairs, do you remember?" The infirmary door opened quietly behind her and she quickly looked over her shoulder to see the Doc Prof and Johnathon entering. She mouthed 'stay there' to them both.
Tricity turned back to the balled up mutant. "What's your name?"
"Listen... I'm not sure who you are, but I'm not going to hurt you and I'd really appreciate it if you would do me and my residents here the same courtesy," Tricity spoke softly. "My name is Tricity. We met downstairs, do you remember?"
Cailyn didn't hear half of what she said as she was panicing. She didn't know where she was, how she got here and why she was here. He lower lip started shaking and she started to cry out of fear and panic. Ofcourse the mental voices weren't exactly conforting her. She places her hands around her knees and put her head between her legs completly hiding her head. "This is not real." She started to say. "This isn't happening again, not again , not ever again." She continued saying to herself while she cried. The soft song returned to the room. She was scared and she didn't want things to return to the ways they where before she was freed.
Tricity turned back to the balled up mutant. "What's your name?"
Her name, they wanted to know her name. But for what ends. Was it for registration or something. Did they want to contact her Father. She didn't want to tell them her name. "I don't want to." She simply said a bit more to herself then to the people around her still hiding her head between her legs.
"Ok, you don't have to tell me. That's ok," Tricity said, sitting down on the floor about 10 feet away to be at the girl's level. "Well, I'm going to talk to you. You don't have to talk until you want to."
She folded her legs under her and took a deep breath. "How bout I tell you where you are?" Tricity wasn't expecting a response, so she continued on after clearing her throat and gesturing again for the others to stay back. "Again, my name is Tricity. Well, my real name is Delilah, but mostly everyone calls me Tricity. I'm a mutant too and I house other mutants here in this mansion to keep them safe." She made sure to emphasize the word. Somehow, Tricity needed to make the girl calm.
"The man that was with me at your bedside.. He's the Doc Prof. He helps many of the mutants here when they are injured or have trouble handling their mutations." She gestured to the doctor who stayed near the door with Johnathon. "He means you no harm either. I promise. He was just trying to get you out of your dream like state." Tricity spoke in a gentle tone, hoping to get through.
"Your mutation... It's beautiful. It reminds me of when I was a little girl and used to go to church every Sunday." She moved a little closer as she talked, only within a few feet now of the girl. "We don't have to stay in her if you don't want to. Would you like something to eat? Um.. maybe some of that birthday cake you were eating before?"
"Again, my name is Tricity. Well, my real name is Delilah, but mostly everyone calls me Tricity. I'm a mutant too and I house other mutants here in this mansion to keep them safe."
She explained where she was and everything. If she would believe here then this wasn't a prison but a house with a freakingly prisonlooking basement. She still hid her head between her legs. She understood it all but she had a hard time thrusting people.

"We don't have to stay in her if you don't want to. Would you like something to eat? Um.. maybe some of that birthday cake you were eating before?"
She remembered church too, only she had never been there and only heard of it. House of religion, whatever that ment. As far as her father raised her she was a atheist. However a complement was a complement and she was raised that she should thank people for complements. "Thank you." She said with a sniff. After that she asked if she was hungry. With all the comotion she didn't feel hungry but she did want to get out of here. "I'm not hungry." She said.
Tricity sat down across from the girl and hesitantly reached out and touched her arm with comfort. "Ok. Well... What would you like to do?" She didn't really know what else she could do, but at least the stranger wasn't freaking out any longer.
"We can sit here and still talk if you'd like," Tricity suggested, removing her arm, but offering a smile as she spoke. "I can tell you about my mutation... Or... You can ask me questions?" She was trying to do whatever to keep the conversation going and not have another freak out.
"We can sit here and still talk if you'd like," "I can tell you about my mutation... Or... You can ask me questions?"
Talking was so last century if there where voices in your head feeding you information. It wasn't recommended though to have voices in your head, people found it strange if they know stuff in advance like for instance Tricity's powers. That info was fed to her during their conversation. "You use electricity." She softly spoke. She was calmed down only because a soft music was dooming up again. It wasn't so loud as it would be if she would fully be under the influence of her power but still it was about to happen. She was scared and she wanted to go home. No more talking, no more people trying to pluck info out of her. "I just want to go home." She said with pauses between every word as she sniffed from her crying. She didn't know how to get home from here though since a car brought her here. The cars would have probably already left for the sanctuary and everyone would be there. Maybe they where looking for her, maybe they weren't. She was still scared and hoped that she wouldn't be send back to the asylum or that these people worked for her father.
Tricity was taken aback by the girl's statement. "You use electricity."
'Well damn,' she thought looking over her shoulder at Johnathon and the Doc Prof. The younger of the two had a bit of a an open mouth expression while the Doc Prof seemed to be taking her in more closely now than before. 'He's not sure what to make of her either.'
"Yes, you're right. I have the power to manipulate electricity," Tricity responded. The girl was still crying and she wasn't sure how to get her to calm down. What more could be done?
As if to answer that, her next statement gave Tricity a bit of hope. "I just want to go home." Maybe if Tricity could find out where this girl was staying, more could be learned about who she was and what happened to her that would cause such a reaction to strangers that were mutants as well.
"Ok, I can take you home." Tricity looked over at Johnathon who gave a firm shake of the head, clearly not thinking it a good idea for her to be alone with the stranger. The Doc Prof still seemed to be intent on studying the girl longer. Tricity turned back again. "How bout you tell me where you live? I can drive you home then."
(OOC: Sorry it took me so long. I've had the CRAZIEST week)
There was a spark of hope, she could be taken home by the woman. Cailyn whiped her face to clean it up and said: "Really? " It would be a miracle if Tricity could seeing as Cailyn didn't know how she got here and Tricity probably didn't have a mind reader or anything at her disposal. Even though a spark of hope was one welcomes by the distressed young girl who was sitting on the floor against the wall.
"How bout you tell me where you live? I can drive you home then."
And with that the bubble of hope was pricked. She didn't know where it was, all she knew was that it was a big place in a big city, but that didn't really narrow things down. "I don't know." She said with a sniff. It would be troublesome to get home now seemingly.
Tricity sighed... This girl acted like she was 5 years old. "You don't know where you live.. Ok..." She thought for a moment, habitually putting a strand of hair behind her ear. This mutant had no idea where she lived and Tricity wasn't too sure she wanted to bring her back to a place where the people there didn't tell this girl where she was staying. Visibly the girl looked ok, but mentally? Tricity wasn't too sure.
"Do you have a purse? Or... maybe a wallet?" Tricity asked, scoping the girl out. Maybe she had had a purse downstairs under the table in the kitchen. "Do you have some form of I.D.?"

Everyday items a ordinary person would have with them while going to a party. But Cailyn wasn't very ordinary. She didn't have any of those items. Well atleast the woman was nice enough to be nice to her. She seemed thrustworthy. She shook her head in a no-ward manner to her question. She found that it would be a good idea to tell her name. And also include the fact that they should not send her to her father. She swallowed and opened her mouth. "I am Cailyn, please don't send me to my father." She said with a bit of fear in her voice. The only thing she feared was her father. Everything else she could probably handle at the moment, but not her father. The tyrant that locked her up for being what she was, a powerfull mental manipulator with no control.
The shakiness in the girl's voice when she mentioned her father gave Tricity the creeps. Ok, so she definitely wasn't sending this mutant back to wherever she'd come from. But FINALLY, a name. There was some progress. Tricity gave a reassuring smile. "Ok, Cailyn, which is a very pretty name by the way. I promise... I won't send you back to wherever you don't want to go."
Tricity wasn't sure how much she should push for information, for fear the girl might react in a negative way, and they would be back to square one where she would completely shut down. She decided to keep it simple. "Well Cailyn, what about your last name? It might be a little easier to find where you came from if you help me with a last name too." Tricity bit her lip in anticipation of the girl's response. Maybe someone reported her missing or maybe the people she left didn't want her back.
"Ok, Cailyn, which is a very pretty name by the way. I promise... I won't send you back to wherever you don't want to go."
Cailyn knew somehow she was speaking the truth. Not only did she had a trustworthy face but she also had trustworthy thoughts, unless she had been trained for that. Paranoia struck a bit but she gave her the benefith of the doubts and trusted her words.
"Well Cailyn, what about your last name? It might be a little easier to find where you came from if you help me with a last name too."
Her lastname. Something she was burdened with that caried the connection between her and her father. Not something to be proud of if your father locks you up for being a mutant and him being a tyrant and a thief by default. Her father ran a company that made most of their money by backalley research and black market weaponary. Most of the non-legal things where cleared up and desposed of by her father and his powers. "lyndall." She said shortly, later regretting it. She should have lied about it since she could now be made into a enemy if they knew who her father was.
