The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Iggy's mouth dropped open exposing nothing but orange. The last thing he wanted to do was accidentally set anyone on fire especially someone who was basically a tree. With another breath, he looked up at Professor Shinbo and started to explain where his source of power came from, "E-El Sol!" Ignacio looked up at the Sun, then back down. Unfortunately, there wasn't a cloud in sight. If anything, his was embarrassing to Iggy. Now all of his friends would think that he was unstable and stop hanging out with him.
"O-Okay," He slowly stood up from the ground and tried even harder to get his flares under control. Ignacio closed his eyes and tried to control himself, but it was hard with all the eyes being laid on him. How else was he supposed to do that? "I'm trying!"
"Ah, well, TV isn't for everyone, I understand that." Iggy shrugged his shoulders with a smile on his face. He knew that some people preferred to read or do other things than to sit and watch TV. Hell, Iggy didn't either. He just did it when he had the down time to do so.
Iggy turned his attention to the guy sitting beside him, "Oh? What did you do in Alaska? Vacation?" Iggy hadn't known of Frosty's time away from the Mansion so this was going to be very interesting.
Ignacio was trying to figure out a way for him to deal with his power on his own but found that it was harder than expected. He then turned his attention to professor Shinbo who has brought by Laura.
"I told you I could handle i--!" Iggy turned his face away when the professor tossed the bucket of water on him. That did nothing. "Professor!" His head snapped back to look at the X-Man that was to the side of him. Because his form was fueled by solar energy and not fire and or heat, the water had no effect. Ignacio took in deep breaths to try and get himself under control, but that barely worked. The solar flares that radiated off of his blackened body only grew more fierce.
"What do I do?!" Iggy asked the math and Japanese professor with eyes that had tints of fear in them.
"Right, right, I'm a very excitable person," Ignacio took a breath and tried his best to calm down. The last thing he wanted to do was scare poor Alice away with his extrovertive nature, [color=#flba3e'"lo seinto, I'm calm now."[/color]
"Gracias, chica británica," he placed his phone on the table, "and, uh, I've been drawing for about two years. It's a good way to relax and calm down," And deal with the self-hate that he was struggling with. Though, that was for another thread.
>> "You ever uploaded these to the internet? You could probably get a few people wanting to commission pictures easily. There's a market for talents like yours online."
Iggy shook his head at her question, "no, but I have thought about it," he shrugged his shoulders and thought for a moment, "Are there any sites for that?"
"Nooo!" Ignacio clapped louder, "Tell me about your power and I'll stop clappinnng!" The seventeen-year-old even took it far enough to start jumping up and down. He knew that his method was working on the poor nurse at least. "Come on, come on, Martha! The choice is yours!"
Ignacio repositioned himself so that he was sitting crisscross on the couch. He dug around in his khaki shorts for a piece of chocolate candy but found none. At that, Ignacio frowned. Where in the heck did his chocolate go?! With a pout, he turned his attention back to the television. He smiled and scratched underneath his chin when he saw himself on the screen. Iggy looked over at Aiden and then back at the tv. Would he notice? God, he hoped so.
Ignacio looked over at the other guy with a slight frown. "Do you not want to watch this? I can change the channel if you want me too!" Iggy, without waiting for an answer, changed the channel from the soccer game. He continued flipping until he landed on a tv show that he knew all too well. It was the same series where he was a prominent extra in.
With a large smile on his face, he sat back and paid attention to the show. Hopefully, the guy would enjoy this, too.
"Yep! I needed a bit of Sun to shine in." Ignacio chuckled and leaned back against the cushion behind him. With a chuckle, he decided to turn on the TV to see what was playing. The seventeen-year-old sighed peacefully and clicked through the channels until he came across a game of soccer.
"Oh! This looks fun! Do you like soccer?" Ignacio asked as he turned to look at the man that was sitting beside him. He had never seen him before so this is was definitely a someone new Iggy could get to know.
Ignacio could feel that he was losing his fight with keeping Martha awake so he decided that he would try something else. He stood up from the side of the hospital bed and began to shake her. "Marthaaaa!! You can't go to sleep!!!" Ignacio huffed and started clapping his hands together in her face. That should at least annoy her enough to keep the other mutant awake.
"Ohhh," Ignacio nodded his head slowly. His eyes grew wide when an idea made his way inside his mind, "Oh, my God, Alice! What if we did a Viewtube channel together?!" Iggy bounced up and down in his seat excitedly, "we would have so many viewers! Just imagine it! We could review games, play two player games, review other things, have debates, I mean the list is endless!"
"Yep! I sketch a lot of things. Mostly myself in Aztec attire with the Sun behind me, but yeah, cute girls and sexy boys and everything in between! I think I may have a couple of pictures on my phone," Ignacio reached into his pocket and pulled out his phone. He then unlocked it, went to his photos and pulled up a picture of him the front side of the Mansion, "this is what I drew three years ago when I came here." Ignacio showed Alice the picture.
"...Oh!" Ignacio blinked a few times. He didn't know how to respond to that other than to stare at her. So she was a serial killer? That was...interesting. Of course, Ignacio had never met a serial killer before in real life so this was a little stunning. He didn't know whether he should run for the hills, call the police, begging for mercy, or just shrug it off as a fun fact of hers.
Clearing his throat, he decided that he would turn his attention to something else, "oh? Well...aren't you busy?" He giggled nervously, "I'm...sorry about your friends, Aura."
Ignacio watched as Martha started coming down on him. All he did in response was smile and listen to her. "That doesn't sound fair! Why can't the boys clean up after themselves?" He asked with a tilt of his head. Ignacio patted his pockets until he found a piece of candy -- chocolate! He happily unwrapped it and popped the delight into his mouth. He moaned as the chocolate melted in his mouth.
"...Are your brothers married?" He asked with a raised eyebrow, "I always wanted to get married and have lots of kids, but when I'm way older. Maybe in ten years, we'll see."
After staking the bowl of chocolates from Juliette's office, Ignacio Ramírez decided to go sit and watch some tv in the living room. Earlier that day he spend the day at the pool and played some water polo with a group of his friends. Now it was time for him to chill and watch something interesting.
Walking into the living room, the first thing he noticed was how cold it was. Ignacio didn't like that at all. To fix that problem, the seventeen year old went over to the closed curtains and opened them again, "aye, muy bien," he then turned to look at the guy that was sitting on one of the couches, "oh, hello." He gave him a wave and sat down on the couch beside him.
"Well, now I see why." Ignacio mumbled. When he noticed that she was drifting off, the teenager nudged her shoulder. "You can't go to sleep! Come on! Tell me what you like to cook." Ignacio wanted to make sure that nothing bad happened Martha while he was there.
Iggy laughed and gave the dogs a wave, "hola, Chocolate and Sparkle." He greeted and turned his attention to Allegra and smiled.
"Great!"
Ignacio watched as the ball flew over the net. He hit it back over with his hands together. "I play it in my free time." He answered with a smiled. "So, where are you from?"
