The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Ignacio was too busy dealing with his own fear to help Andy out. He had to get over his fear, but it was only getting worse with each passing second. Iggy tried to get his emotions under control, but it was becoming very, very difficult. He was afraid of overheating and causing an explosion, accidentally killing his boyfriend in the process.
>> “I can’t leave! I’m surrounded by venomous snakes, you worthless piece of shit!”
"Do not yell at me! There aren't an-any snakes, Andrew!" Ignacio shouted back, covering his face. His body shook with such fear that if he were a cow, vanilla milkshake would squirt from his utters. He had to snap out of it and if not for himself, then for Andy
Ignacio followed down behind Andy like a madman. He didn't know what was going on, but he knew that he didn't want to have Andy and himself involve in it. At lest Iggy was aware that his Bubblehead could take care of himself if he ever had the need to. The eighteen-year-old mutant looked up at the exit sign with a hopeful look on his face. All he needed to do was get passed that door and escape into the stairwell. This only made Ignacio run faster.
As soon as the two mutants burst through the doors, Ignacio cursed in Spanish. The black smoke was engulfing the stairs and heading toward them. God, he hated whatever this was! Ignacio waited for his boyfriend to take the lead, announcing that the roof was the best place to go. Ignacio nodded in agreement and started to run up the stairs when the smoke started to come towards them. He wasn't able to take the initial steps up the flight of stairs because of the immense fear that he was feeling.
Ignacio felt his body heat up again as the fear of repeating what happened to his parents happening to Andy creep into his mind and take it over. "No, no, no! Not again!" He shouted as tears started to roll down his face. Iggy quickly backed away from Andy and until he was in a corner behind the door. "A-Andy! Leave now before something bad happens!"
Ignacio had no intention of putting him down especially with the way he was acting. "Because, mi amor! You pressed all the buttons so now the elevator is going up and up!" Iggy couldn't really be mad at Andy even though he wanted to be. They both were afraid and didn't know what the hell was happening. "W-we just have to see where we end up, okay?"
---
The sound of Ignacio’s lighthearted, yet caring voice managed to calm Andy down slightly. So did being in his warm embrace. Taking a deep breath, he guessed what mattered was that they were together and no longer on the ground floor, where he had last seen the snake. But then he heard the snake’s threatening hisses yet again, and this time they were coming from inside the elevator. How could he not fly into a panic?
“THE SNAKE IS IN THE ELEVATOR!” Andy repeated, frantic, as he continued attempting to climb on top of his boyfriend so as to avoid touching the floor, which was completely covered in swirling black smoke. Glancing down fearfully, he couldn’t see the snake, but he knew it was there. Somewhere. “AHHHHH!!!”
--
Ignacio thought that the horrors were over, but soon his boyfriend started to scream out and attempt to climb on top of him. "A-Andy! Stop climbing on top of me before you make my skirt fall off!" Iggy tried his hardest to calm down his boyfriend, but he knew that it was going to be in vain. The last thing he wanted was let this fear consume Andy and cause him to do something stupid out of fear. Instead of picking Andy up, he put him behind him in a corner and tried his best to shield him for whatever he was feeling.
---
Whatever Iggy was telling him, Andy wasn’t listening. He was busy screaming his lungs out. It wasn’t until Ignacio moved in front of him that he was finally able to catch his breath. Breathing heavily, Andy’s eyes went wide as he realized Ignacio, the man of his dreams, was now the one in mortal danger. Yet, Andy was frozen with fear, unable to speak a word or move a muscle. All he could do was clutch onto Ignacio’s muscular frame from behind, hugging him as though for the last time, his eyes shut tight.
And then, all of a sudden, the elevator came to an abrupt halt. PING! The elevator doors swung open.
---
The teenage Sun god's eyes shot up to the digital number on the elevator once he heard that the doors opened. "The fourteenth floor?!" Ignacio cussed in Spanish and grabbed one of the hands that were wrapped around his midsection and ran down the hallway. "Come on! We have to go!" God, Iggy wished that it was the daytime. Currently, he was feeling so exposed and helpless out at night. He knew that it would've been a better idea to have a Halloween Party when the Sun was up and Iggy wasn't running on his solar power reserves. ]"Where are we going?!"
---
Andy’s eyes shot open at the sound of the elevator opening. His brain urged him to move, to make a break for it, but his body wouldn’t let him, still frozen with fear. Fortunately, Ignacio wasn’t nearly as scared of snakes as Andy was and pulled him out of the elevator. Mobility came rushing back to Andy’s body shortly after, allowing him to run alongside Ignacio as they entered a crowded, noisy corridor filled with black smoke and clinically crazy partgoers. They were fighting each other, beating each other to a pulp, but Andy didn’t care. He was just happy to be out of that damn elevator. There was no way the snake could follow them without getting stepped on. “I don’t care where we go! I just want to get out of here! This is the worst hotel ever!”
---
"Agreed! The next time we want to be nasty, we will stick to the pool, el alma gemela!" Ignacio looked behind him to see if anything was chasing them. Luckily, nothing was and instead, Iggy and Andy turned around to focus on the group in front of them. Why were they fighting each other?! "I don't know..." Iggy looked around frantically and tried his best to get his thoughts together. He stopped running and turned to look at Andy. "Look, we have to get out of here or try and fight this thing. Are you with me?"
Ignacio noticed the small smile, but didn't address it. He knew that he was able to get inside of Andy's head. With a proud smirk on his face, Iggy turned his attention to Cafas. The nagging feeling that still had the hairs on the back of his neck stand up didn't stop the young mutant from having his usual extra prep in his preppy boy step.
>> "I did really think you were together though. Pity, you looked like a cute couple in matching outfits."
The teenage Sun god was about to open up his mouth and proudly proclaim that him and Andy were in fact a cute couple, but the latter stopped him.
>> "Well, we're not...I just couldn't think of anything better to wear," Even with the apologetic look, Iggy couldn't resist messing with Andy a bit.
"It's true. I'm the only one here who likes guys," Ignacio shrugged his shoulders nonchalantly, "what can I say?"
>> "Well lads, I'd say that means we have to go up. No clue what floor. Maybe there'll be something in the actual elevator."
Well, that would be fortunate. Iggy was ready to face whatever threat was behind the elevator doors until they actually opened. That feeling started to flood back to his brain. He could feel himself started to heat up again as his lips started to quiver. Ignacio quickly took steps away from both Cafas and Andy.
"N-No! I-It can't happen again!" Ignacio felt like his body was about to heat up. "I-I don't want to get on the elevator."
Ignacio was still a bit shaken up from what just happened to him. After he got himself together, he looked over his shoulder at Andy who was still hiding behind the desk. Maybe it was nothing and Iggy was simply overreacting to whatever just happened to him.
"N-no, it didn't hurt me. I just felt...weird." He tried to shake the feeling from his body, but wasn't quite able to do it. Once Andy cutely scrambled from behind the receptionist desk, Ignacio went to wrap his arms around Andy, but stopped short when the smoke started to head toward and affect his boyfriend. He watched Andy's facial expression change from being relieved to looking freaked out. "...Andrew?" He quietly asked, taking a couple of steps toward him, but staying out of the black smoke. He was no good to him if he too became "infected" with whatever the smoke was.
>> "I think I'm still going to investigate though. Feel free to come with, if you can convince your boyfriend. They sometimes like to do these secret events, they're normally worth checking out, kinda like a VIP area for real Halloween lovers."
>> “I’m not afraid...And I'm not his boyfriend...”
Ignacio raised an eyebrow at Andy. Not boyfriends? He understand why, but Cafas seemed so chill. He followed after the X-Men, glancing over at Andy ever so often. "Not boyfriends?" He asked Andy in a whisper. "Tell that to the pool."
Ugh, all Iggy wanted to do was hold his boyfriend's hand, but nooo. His bottom lip poked out in pout before letting go of Andy's hand. It's been a month, one week, and four days since Andy and him made it official and the solar teenage god couldn't be happier. Ignacio was still in the honeymoon phase and felt as if he would continue to be in the part for the next five months. He was so excited about him and Andy having matching costumes that his phone storage was almost at it's max from the amount of photos that he had taken of the two of them.
Now at the hotel, Ignacio and Andy happily made their way over to the reception desk to check in when the latter made an exclamation.
>> "Holy shit,"
With furrowed eyebrows, he turned to look over his shoulder to see what Andy was talking about. Now his eyes were wide. "...¿Qué es eso?" His attention then turned to -- Cafas! Ignacio felt the need to fanboy, but realized that this was something that could be considered dangerous.
>> "You see that too then? That's something at least. Wanna try and follow it with me?"
Iggy nodded his head slowly and moved so that he was standing in front of Andy, but his boyfriend had already jumped over the front desk. The eighteen-year-old mutant attempted to go concul his boyfriend, but suddenly, he felt...weird. The hairs on the back of his neck started to stand up and he felt like his body was heating up. He did not like this feeling. He felt jittery and not in the good way, though, he tried not ignore it the best he could.
"W-what the f*** is that?" He asked Cafas. Igancio shook his head to try and rid himself of the feeling, but failed to really shake it. "...no me gusta."
Man, was Igancio really enjoying himself. He had no idea that trying to save someone into drowning would result in a gift such as Andy. He wondered how old he was. Hopefully above the age of fifteen so Iggy could have a little play time. Though, the look he got from Jules made him chuckle. In response, he playfully nudged her.
His attention turned back to Andy when he answered his question and asked one of his own.
>> “A few weeks? Maybe a month?...What about you guys?”
>> "I’ve been here for about a year,”
Now it was Ignacio's turn. "About four years?" He honestly lost track of how long he's been in the Mansion. Iggy was about to say something when something that Andy said caught his attention. With knitted eyebrows, he asked, "¿wait, hablas español?"
>> "Well...Some companies might have requirements for people that want to apply to them. They might require you to be represented by an agent, or have a portfolio of some sort...Have you done professional modeling work before?"
"...No." Ignacio poked out his lip. Why didn't he know about this? Why hadn't anyone told him that he needed to get these "requirements". "...B-but I'm beautiful! I'm unqiue! That should enough...right?" Oh, Ignacio. With a sigh, he slumped back in the seat. He was about to take out a piece of chocolate when an idea popped into his head.
"Wait! I have head shots from when I did commercials and played supporting characters!" Did that count? God, he hoped so!
Ignacio stopped walking and stood there. He listened to what she had to say before slowly nodding his head.
"It's...okay. No one's perfect. It's just a little off putting." He chuckled again, rubbing the back of his neck before clearing his throat. "And I'd love to get to know you."
Ignacio was up and ready when dawn came. With him being a morning person, he usually was the first to get up in the morning and experience the beautiful sunrise. After brushing his teeth and washing his face, Iggy slipped on a pair of black gym shorts and went for his morning run. After ten miles, he circled back around to the Mansion and immediately went to take a shower.
After about fifteen minutes, he went back into his room and quickly got ready for the day. His first class was art, which was obviously an easy A. Dressed in a light green polo and pastel pink shorts, he made his way into the art classroom with his backpack hanging off of his shoulder. He first noticed Chase and gave him a happy wave.
"¡Hola, Chase!" He greeted happiy before looking around the room. He knew a few of them from being in the mansion, but there was someone who caught his attention. He was ten minutes early to class so he decided to sit down in a random seat toward's the middle. However, that changed when a special someone walked into the classroom late. With a loud gasp, he scampered over to Andy and sat down beside him.
"Well, look who it is! Andy!" Ignacio giggled and poked his arm. "How are ya?"
>> "District of Colombia! That's Washington D.C....Did you know Donald Trump?"
Ignacio blinked a couple of times. Oh, God. This poor girl. "N-no, not the District of Colombia and no, I don't know that...man." He decided not to say anything more. "Colombia is a country, not a 'district'." He looked around the volleyball pit before awarkdly clearing his throat. "I think I'm just gonna go and..." He slowly started to back away from Allegra.
Ignacio listened closely to what Aura had to say. She was explaining to him the reason as to why she was the way that she was. It made sense to Iggy to feel this way especially her being born in war against mutants and humans. He hated that Aura had to experience everything that she did. No one should have to feel that way.
"I-I'm sorry about what you had to go through, Aura. I can only hope that you're able to he-heal properly." Though, what if doing what she did was her therapy?
>> "I am fine with the heat, thank you. I Hope your story is kinder the mine?"
At the question, Ignacio sighed, "maybe...a little." He sighed and looked down at the ground. "...One day, my powers went haywire and I accidentally killed my parents. I-It wasn't my fault, something stuck in my neck and...that's when everything went wrong."
>> "Okay...I can understand the excitement for fashion. To be honest, I have never worked with someone who wanted a modeling career... but I understand there are more requirements than looks. Have you already looked into their recruitment practices?"
Huh, Ignacio never really thought about it, but he guessed he hadn't really looked into anything. "...Recruitment practices? What are those?" He asked with a tilt of his head. Ignacio didn't know anything about going through recruitment practices. Would he have to do that first before auditioning?
>> "You are? How delightful! Do you have any powers?"
Ignacio nodded his head quickly. Of course he wanted to tell her about his mutation! That was something that he was extremely proud about. "Let's see, I can absorb solar energy and turn it into energy for my body. I can even let out solar flares." He added with a wide smile. Iggy looked Ambrosia over and giggled. "Were you always like this? A, uh, dragon?"
>> "Would yo—? Can I—?" She flushed, embarrassed and flustered. "Please hold my hand? I don't want to be pulled away."
Ignacio placed his hand over his chest and made the "aww" face. She was just so damn adorable! "Of course I'll hold your hand! It'll be my pleasure to escort just a beautiful little creature like yourself outside." Ignacio happily took her hand and led her toward the outside door. He wanted to make sure that Kalos feel as safe as possible.
>> "It is in the Atlantis Ocean...We were under water for my whole life until we were not...I did live in the place where no one leaves to do the jobs no one talks about."
"I didn't know a place like that existed." Ignacio giggled and ran his fingers along his slicked back hair, "...I'm sorry about that last part, chica. They didn't hurt you, right?"
