There’s usually two sides to Ignacio: The side he shows the public and the side that battles with him when he’s all alone.
On the outside, Ignacio is flamboyant -- but not necessarily gay--, sensible, romantic, and extroverted. He’s usually somewhere drawing, painting, or making friends with almost everyone, but when he’s alone at night, he stares at the four walls of his room and torture himself with the fact that he killed his family. There have been times where he’s started a fight or gone to the part of the city that he knew didn't like mutants just so he could get beat up. He has refused seeing someone about his self-loathing because he believes that he doesn’t deserve it.
He tries his hardest to keep that part of himself locked away from his friends and plans on keeping it that way.

MoralityGood/ bad/ neutral/ other: Neutral good- Ignacio always believes in during the right thing. However, Ignacio will do anything it takes in order to protect the ones he loves. If that means threatening someone, then, by all means, he'll do it.
MutationsMutation description:Solar Energy Absorption:Ignacio has the power to absorb energy from the Sun and utilize it. This power can be activated by simply gesturing towards the sun. When this happens, his skin turns black and his body immediately catches on fire. However, the flames aren’t orange. Instead, they’re a mixture of different colors, giving him a beautiful, but dangerous look. His eyes also change until they’re completely orange. He sometimes manipulates the "fire" around him to make him look like he just stepped off the cover of "Nahuatl Magazine".
Tollan Form: When Ignacio's solar power is activated, he calls it his "Tollan" form He named it this as a reference to the Aztec Heaven, Tollan, that was ruled by Tonatiuh.
In this form, Ignacio’s strength (can lift 115 lbs), speed (can run 6.7 mph), durability, and endurance (can run 2.5 miles in 14 minutes)
It usually takes him a solar panel's worth of solar thermal energy to activate his power and for those thirty minutes, he needs at least five constant solar panel's worth of solar thermal energy.
Solar Flares:Although useless offensively, solar flares is excellent for party tricks. With this supplementary power, Ignacio can create mini suns, different shapes, and animals. He doesn't have to be in his Tollan form in order to do this, though, his eyes still glow orange. The power is more of a bluff/showy type than anything.
Strengths:- Underneath the sun, Ignacio is a powerhouse. The more direct sunlight he gets, the more power he gets.
- In his Tollan Form, Ignacio can lift 345 pounds, run 20.1 mph, have the body durability of an African black rhino, and can run 7.5 miles without getting tired.
- Ignacio can stare directly at the Sun.
- Skin disease won’t be something he has to worry about.
Weaknesses and Limitations:- One of the main weaknesses of having this power is having to have access to direct sunlight in order to activate his “Tollan” appearance or at the very least have some solar energy stored away for nighttime use. Even then he wouldn’t be as powerful since he would be running on his reserves. His solar energy storage can last until he uses it all. Ignacio can absorb up to ten solar panels worth of solar thermic energy
- He can stay in his “Tollan” form for thirty minutes and will need some time to cool down before trying to “Solar-up” again.
- Another weakness of his power is the prospect of him losing control by the amount of energy that he is channeling.
- Overloading can lead to Ignacio immediately releasing solar energy around him and afterward, Ignacio in a coma. The force that is produced is equal to The average force applied by seatbelt and airbag to a restrained passenger in a car which hits a stationary barrier at 100 km/h.
- Overusing his powers can cause him to faint on the spot and his body to go back to normal.
- If Ignacio is kept out of the sun for long periods of time, he can suffer physical illness. His skin starts forming large black spots because his body is trying to get as much solar energy as it can, his iris turn black and his hair starts to fall out and Ignacio feels like he’s been dumped in antifreeze.
- The amount of solar energy he can absorb at once is 4.2x10^3 (the same amount of energy that is released when 1 gram of TNT explodes)
Physical AbilitiesGeneral Physical Capabilities: When the Sun is out, Ignacio’s speed, endurance, and strength increases by 5%. However, when's the sun is not our or it's nighttime, he has the physical capabilities of an athletic human.
Fighting Style: Because of his time spent at the Mansion, Ignacio hand-to-hand combat skills are better than the average person
Fighting Style Pros/Cons: Pros: Ignacio’s not completely helpless if his powers aren’t working correctly. He can handle himself in a street fight, but if the person(s) he’s fighting has professional training, then Ignacio might end up a loser.
History Of Your CharacterWhen Ignacio was born, his parents knew that he was special. Both of his parents were mutants: his father, Angel, could breathe underwear and his wife, Maria, had the power to shapeshift into a toucan. When his mother first held him, she first noticed his eyes. They weren’t green like Angel’s nor brown like her own. Aside from his eyes, Ignacio’s body temperature was slightly higher than what it should be. And because of that, his mother decided to name him “Ignacio”, meaning “fire”. The doctor thought that he might’ve been sick so they held him overnight for observation.
After Angel and Maria explained that their son was special, the doctors came to a consensus to allow him to leave. Ignacio was pretty normal after that aside from his kaleidoscope eyes and above average body temperature. At the age of eight, the Cortez’s moved from Colombia to California, USA.
There, his parents worked hard to get Ignacio into the media, going to every audition that was focused on his age range. They searched for two more years before he landed his first commercial. It was a popular sunscreen brand. After that, he did a few more commercials before deciding that acting wasn’t something he wanted to work as. Plus, what happened to American child stars scared the living daylights out of him.
Because of his work is on screen, his family was able to leave rather comfortably while also saving money. However, there was a downside to being kind of famous and being a mutant. Often he’d receive hate mail from humans. His parents tried not to let him be exposed to it, but Ignacio knew that some people just hated him for being who he was. Unfortunately some of those small, but potent mutant-hating groups acted on their hatred and changed Ignacio’s life forever.
While walking home from school, a fourteen-year-old Ignacio was walking out to his mailbox when something stuck in his neck. He turned to see who it was and found a black van zipping away. Before he could react, Ignacio began to feel hot and the sun gets closer. Ignacio was about pass out when his skin started to darken and the sudden blast of colorful heat radiated from his body. His parents rushed out to see what was going on. Ignacio tried to warn him to stand back, but they didn’t listen. With a shout, the young mutant let loose a burst of solar energy.
Ignacio didn’t wake up until six months later. When he came to, he searched for his parents. They had died from the amount of energy he dished out.
Ignacio was never the same after that. Because the only family he had was in Colombia, he knew that he would have to leave. However, instead, the leader of the Mansion came to his aid and offered a place to stay and learn how to better to use his powers. He was hesitant at first, but when he found out that if he worked hard enough, something like that would never happen again. And so, Ignacio has been at the Mansion for two years learning, studying, and training as best he can for the safety of the people around him.

Sample RP:Ignacio wiped the corner of his mouth. The training day was always something he secretly feared but made sure never to display. He was always worried about accidentally hurting his fellow mutants like he did his parents. Ignacio's face flickered a bit with grief before he quickly offered it up with his bright smile.
Today, Ignacio was to test his speed and strength while in his Tollan form. The last time he participated in a superpowered obstacle course, Ignacio was able to complete it in under a minute. This time, he was determined to beat his own record.
"I am so ready!" Ignacio's Spanish accent caused his "r" to roll. Cracking his knuckles and bouncing on his toes a bit, Ignacio lifted his hands toward the sky with a wide smile. Feeling his stomach churn and his body tingle, the young mutant started to transform.
The white of his eyes was filled with a fiery orange. His bronze skin darkened to the point of complete blackness and his skin caught on fire. Colors of orange, green, yellow, and even pink swirled around him. Now fully charged up, Ignacio sprinted in the course and finishing it in 56 seconds.
