MRO is an intermediate to advanced writing level original character, original plot X-Men RPG. We've been open and active since October of 2005. It is that special time of the month again! It is time to nominate members for MotM! So, who did it for you this last month? Who made you cry? Cheer? Laugh? Wearily eye the dark corners of your own house in fear?
Come on, show these people how much you appreciate them! Get those nominations in!
I'm nominating Joseph Enders for this month. Joseph has been around since December and I have yet to see him get nominated once for Mutant of the Month. His post quality is very visceral, just like a movie and it's always a treat to see his posts and how they play out.
These are just a few of his threads, but he is a really great role player with just a fun writing style that always gets me in a great mood when I read it. He is more than a worthy nominee for member of the month.
I am glad to have the honor to nominate this great writer, although he recently joined the site, he achieved to gain a place among us and our wicked plotting. His character has a very particular personality, paranoid, with a strange code of honor that can be easily bended if it fits his goals. His battle cries reminds me of those old good movies where the hero always say a phrase before attacking the bad guy. What in my opinion, gives him so many extra points. And the writer of this awesome character have a keen eye for plotting, bringing so many good ideas to the site. Of course I am talking about Markus Burke.
Not too sure how to do this but, I want to nominate Gina for Mutant of the Month. I'm a sucker for sweet things and Gina is just that. She makes the character realistic in her actions and is always a fun read for me.

I would like to nominate Aurion!
Aurion is a good friend of mine, and since he's joined the site I've been a total sucker for his character. Each of his posts are well-detailed and total gems to read, and I myself am a sucker for the visibly mutated (obviously). He brings a fresh edge to any thread he's in through his characters savage and occasionally animalistic mentality, yet there are occasional glimmers of compassion in some of his posts. Though this type of character would lend itself to shallower functioning, Aurion approaches it with alarming depth.
Hence, why I'm nominating him. Check out his posts in the following threads, you'll see what I mean. ^_^

I hereby nominate Soot for mutant of the month!
Soot is an arsonist.Why is Soot an arsonist? Could it have something to do with the fact that his mutation allows him to turn to smoke? No, actually.
As illustrated in Adaptive Arson, Soot burns down buildings in order to deliver souls to his goddess Scora. He does this so that one day Scora will hopefully remake his lost wife.
Holy crap, right? All kindsa crazy right there. But unlike many character who do crazy things, he has the ability to seem perfectly normal, albeit a bit old and grumpy. You can see that in his thread with Megan, in which they both attend a bar! A Special Kind of Cocktail
Of course, he is planning on burning down the bar, but that's just how he works!
Finally, there is that cockiness and sense of adventure that comes out when Skydancer challenges him to a race to the mansion! He is even kind enough to offer her a 60 second head start! See it in Unexpected Adventures!
All in all, Soot has created an excellent character, and that, my friends, is why I feel he deserves to be Mutant of the Month!

I nominate Miles for MotM. He may be new, he may have 25 posts at the time that I'm writing this, but this guy is gold in my opinion. Everything he touches is gold. I haven't been keeping a particularly close eye on him until now.
His post to get a description of the AoS town includes references, it's well written, objective, well thought out, everything you'd look for in a suggestion / planning thread! Give him a medal for that work!
His in character writing is awesome too, I love his style, I love how he plays his character, and I love that he is so active and participates so much in the site despite how new and shiny he is!
