The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

I'm going to have to second Forte on the moving bone fortress. I like the idea, and it's neat to imagine, but I think it's a bit much. The amazons already have a beefy roster of members, which would make any attempt to infiltrate, steal, and/or attack them quite difficult.
So I was originally going to aim Roach at the amazons, but I'm thinking he would probably be best suited to a group of people who are totally happy with the way the world is, and would specifically target anything meant to add a sense of normalcy.
He could also run a death pit that people could be forced to fighting in ala thunder dome.
Also... I'm gonna bring up the idea of there being an undetonated nuclear bomb in the heart of the city, for a possible epic wrap up. Ideas?
Also, Saph is going lone ranger... With Tonto Megan sidekick.
Thanks to Andrea and Jorge for my sigs! I WABBLE YOUUU! AV Roach~
I kind of like the idea of a nuke still in the city. One that no one really knows about I would think. On that thought, where are the nukes going to strike?
I don't know if this helps at all or not, but I took the liberty of searching through google images to find some more, realistic, outfits. At least in my opinion. Besides the dresses/skirts and short-shorts (though the guys could wear them too), the clothes are pretty much interchangeable to either sex.
As for Aurion, I don't know if he would necessarily be feral, but he could be put in that category. He might have started leaving the city to find supplies or food, and bring it back.
I'm putting Cafas forward, maybe Shula, As for undetonated nuke, I think it could be cool, but with modern missile systems, it's be a very obvious rocket, and I'd have thought someone would have abused it. I'm not saying it's a bad idea, I actually like it, just my thoughts on it.
Also, the payload in Nuclear warheads are metals... Just sayin'

Aurion, feral isn't necessarily a requirement, that's just what's going to happen to Chase-- he's just going to be a little messed-up when the events come to play within the city, and that mixed with the need to survive is going to... cause him to devolve mentally, I guess? At least temporarily. And for him to remain there, I think that it would be easier if he was in an environment that didn't necessarily discourage or encourage it. Ergo, animal-like muties.
I love the post apocalyptic garb, but the leathers made me laugh. I think it was the eighth picture? But I see the trend and that makes total sense-- having the outfits that are comprised of layers of clothes, possibly worn down, but from textiles commonly encountered in the modern day.
I also like the dud bomb that isn't detonated until the end.
I really like the idea of a nuke (or anything else that could threaten another apocalypse in a post apocalyptic world). It gives us something to build up to/something to fight over.
And I think I'll be having Shane join Roach in the 'pro-apocalypse' group. I'm not sure about the pit fighting, but he's definitely going to fit right in with this setting, at least more so then he does when things are normal.
I like the whole du bomb thing. Could be a good way to wake everyone up at the end of the plot. Kind of like a rewind to what brought them into the plot.
As for Teddy I think he could be a very useful spy considering his powers. He might be one of the only ones that could get into the bone castle. If anyone wants to claim him as their spy or anything let me know. Also I think it'll be a cool inspiration to see how he can push himself since he's usually a pretty reserved character.
Let me know about the spy thing if anyone's interested

I love the idea of having a undetonated nuke inthe city. Aurion, if you are interested in potentially joining Amber and Chase as a feral, you'd be more than welcome. I don't see Amber as being completely feral, but definatley non-civilized would fit well. She'll still have the ability to communicate and that sort of thing, but primarily living in and on the wild.

Howl's Moving Bone Castle is probably overkill, but oh, it twas fun to chat about in the Cbox.
Probably more practically: non-moving bone fortress/encampment. With Issie + Muse that's perfectly legit for us to make, and if anyone tries sneaking in... well, it's their own fault.
I like the bomb idea. Also Aura would love to fight ina thunder dome. Im still debating what to actually do with aura personality wise for this.
Maybe ill have her be more agressive in terms of protecting mutants. Aura willikely be more agressive and willing to eat virtually anything. Aura will likely often hunt for food

I have a bit of a thought for The Amazons. Skydancer is joining them and, given both her personality and the way it sounds like the future is going to be, she would be likely to suggest formal combat training and, if allowed, become a drill sergent of sorts forcing everyone to train daily and master their powers in high stress combat situations. Would something like that be possible for the Amazon faction? Seems like it would probably fit with the whole warlike faction that seems to be developing.
Its a wee bit late, but I might possibly throw Granny into there somewhere. She would be what by then? A centenarian? Martin might be persuaded to make an appearance, too.
