The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

*as she ensured all the children were doing their jobs with a form of supervision from a few people, tricity went downstairs into the lower sub-levels of the mansion. upon her announcing her name to the computer, the doors opened and tricity walked in. she looked over to the left and saw the assassin in her cell.* "So, who sent you to kill me?" *tricity asked, as she sat in one of the big leather chairs that surrounded the long table used for meetings.*
Slowly, a pair of topaz yellow eyes opend. Eliza sat up, holding her ribs. " You tell me, I'm sure you know who your enemies are better than I do. I'm just a hired gun. I gave you the note. " she said as she stood up, cracking her neck.
*tricity wheeled the chair over and crossed her legs comfortably, sitting back in it.* "I have a lot of enemies...you're telling me you have no clue who sent the note?"
" They have deep pockets to be able to afford me. Plus they sighed he letter E.L. That's all I know. I don't ask questions, I just do my job. " Eliza said, examining the cage.
" I don't really have a preference. I think that it would be nice to not see so much hatred, but I think much more along the lines of what's really going to happen. Hence my line of work. " Eliza said, cracking her hand as she closed it into a fist, a natural happening.
"Well you should have a preference because humans are naturally against you. Interesting how you would kill someone like me who keeps the future of mutant children safe. I see money runs your life and not honor." *she said, crusing the paper and burning it in her hand as a small, blue electric ball formed in her hand.*
That struck a nerve. " You think that all you want, but I vaule honor above all else. If I did not, I'd have taken you by surprise when you were alone, asleep, and slit your throat. But I did not do that, now did I? I intruduced myself, and eventold you why I was here. So don't you tell me I have no honor! " Eliza said. " Besides, I don't ask for information about my targets. I just do my job. "
"Which shows you're a coward since you don't try to find out any information about them! You could be killing someone important in saving our kind..." *she tied her hair up in a ponytail.* "And you can't kill me in my sleep...you won't be able to sneak on these grounds without the security system tripping anyway."
" I'm no coward. " Eliza said, her eyes narrowing. " I just don't care about anything. I could care less if I die during a mission. All I care about is having fun while I'm alive. " Eliza glanced at Tricity's stomach. " Seems you like to have fun too, only a different kind of fun. " Eliza smirked.
"Screw you, you don't know me!" *tricity said angrily and sitting forward on the seat.* "You still plan on killing me after my baby is born? That's real nice of you...very thoughtful." *she said sarcastically.*
" Looks like I got under your skin. I bet all the fighting you do isn't good for your kid. Most likely it will end being one messed up baby. " Eliza was very good at this, pushing buttons. " I'd most likely be doing it a favor if I had killed you, and it along with you. " Eliza laughed, as she leaned back against the wall.
*some of the equipment and computers began shutting on and off as tricity grew more and more upset at eliza. she stood up angrily and walked over to the cell.* "There's nothing wrong with my baby. And I told you not to speak about it every again..."
Eliza just smirked. " I doubt that very much. I bet you are the type that drinks alot. Bet that baby will come out with major mental problems, that is, if you have not already fried it's brain with all that power you keep using. " Eliza laughed, as she continued to push the buttons. " Or maybe, you are a junkie that will have a crack baby. " Eliza smrked.
*the power in the room surged into tricity's body, but she calmed herself down, letting the energy go. the room turned back to normal and she closed her eyes smirking, looking down at the floor. she leaned closer to the bars.* "That cheap, bullshit trick won't work. I'm not going to let you out that easily, love." *she sighed and looked over at the woman.* "You are too full of yourself and destructive. It's why you ended up in this cage."
