The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

"Neither did I! Maybe she knows where his facility is!! That would be so crucial to getting Kaine and Orion back and hopefully stopping Whitmore somehow..." *Tricity said, being much more interested in finding the General's base than finding out who wanted her dead.*
Another memory flashed. This one was just before she had went to kill Kage. Whitmore handed her an file. Inside it, there was a massive amount of cash, along with a picture of Kage. " I want you to kill the son of Drogin " Dragonbane " Hunter. His birthname is Snowe, but he goes by the name of Kage nowadays. He is an extremely dangerous mutant, and could be problematic to my plans, so... " Eliza cut him off. " Shut up already, fat-ass. I'll get the job done. This Kage is as good as dead. " Eliza said, leaving the facility. The memory faded before much of it's surroundings was revealed.
Mike frowned, looking for a similar memory. He'd make a conscious effort to keep the memory solid enough to look at the surroundings before it faded this time. They needed to know where that base was, and every little clue counted.
*Tricity sucked her teeth as she wasn't able to make anything out about the facility in the last vision. It was a very dull place, like a base underground possibly. Everything was metal.*
Another memory flashed, this one was after Eliza had been defeated by Kage. " You come back here, after failing me!?! " Whitmore yelled at Eliza. " You are Worthless!!! Get out of my sight!!! " Eliza's eyes narrowed, as an evil look came across her face. " Watch your tone, general. " " Yea, you might piss her off, like you pissed me off. " Came a voice from behind Eliza. " You thought that I could not track her to you, even in this mountain. Please. " Kage said, as he looked to Eliza. He formed a massive fireball in his left hand, and sent it passed the general, setting fire to the equipment behind him. " That's my warning. Stay away from me. " Kage said, leaving. Eliza watched him go, and then turned to face Whitmore. " I quit. " She said, a smirk on her face. With that, the memory faded, as Eliza threw one of her throwing knives at the general's leg.
"If we can't get the information about where the base is in her mind, we can try and ask Kage! Let's keep going though if we can save the trip. I don't think Kage would be too happy to see us anyway." *She pulled a stool up next to the table, across from Mike, because she was becoming a bit lightheaded with all the visions.*
The next memory that triggered was a brief one. It showed Eliza leaving the facility, and as she approached the door, and opened it, reflection activated, knocking Cassiel out of Eliza's mind, and into his own memories. It would seem that that memory was well guarded, and was the key to finding the location of the general's base.
He looked back at the house, fully aware that it could be his last time seeing it. His father stood, impassive, on the front door, blocking any hope of return, with his brother sneering next to him. Above them, looking out her bedroom window, Mike could just make out his sister peeking over the windowsill, tears in her eyes.
"Go to hell, dad," he whispered, getting into the waiting taxi. As he shut the d-
"Ah, hell..." Mike hadn't been expecting it that time. He looked more annoyed at the fact that he'd been pushed out of her mind than that he'd let his memories spill into the investigation, though he was admittedly irritated at that as well.
"She's got a slippery mind," he commented angrily, forcing his way back into her mind, "I'll try harder. Sorry about that."
Another memory came up. This one was as Eliza was leaving to go on her first mission under General Whitmore. She was stopped by a young solider, who wished her luck. She nodded to him,and headed towards the door. She turned the handle, and opened the door, as the bright sun light blinded her for a moment. Reflection activated once again, sending Cassiel back into his own memories.
The scum was hovering in front of him in the alley, the righteous fear radiating from him. He'd pay. The suffering he'd caused was unforgiveable. His actions would be met with justice, VENGEANCE! He'd pay for the tears he caused, each tear paid for in blood!
Mike broke the telepathic link, this time looking outright furious. His fists clenched for a moment, then he took a deep breath, trying to calm himself. Slowly this time, he pressed into her mind again.
*Tricity hoped she wouldn't see a side of Mike she would prefer to keep to the imagination, but she knew an extra 'pair of eyes' would be useful in case a memory came up that showed where the base was. After all, Tricity knew New York her whole life.*
Another memory showed. This one was of Eliza in a limo, having her arms crossed as she looked at the general. She did not trust him, she did not trust anyone. She had a deep hatred for most humans, and mutants for that matter. She turned her head to the side, looking out the tinted window to the approaching mountains. " I know this place. " Eliza said, looking at the upcoming mountain. Reflection activated, sending Cassiel out of her mind, and back into his for a third time.
This time, Mike was ready for it, and no memories were leaked. Sighing, he got ready to try again.
Mike looked over at Tricity nervously as he slid back into Eliza's mind. He'd never completely admitted how out of it he'd been in that alley outside the courthouse... he'd never thought anyone would find out, so this made being forcibly ejected from her mind doubly humiliating the last time.
