The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

The rage coming from Tricity could be felt all the way from the holding cells to Mike's room, where he was looking over documents on Daria's computer. He grabbed the feeling, using it as a beacon to project himself across the campus into her mind. It was only a fraction of his mind, and he couldn't do much besides converse with her without seriously affecting the attention he was paying to Daria, but it was enough for the time being.
"Actually, she ended up in the cage because we beat the hell out of her." With a touch to the right places in her mind, Mike made Tricity 'see' him like he was standing next to her, talking normally, though his body was transparent. Still, it was probably less disorienting for her than speaking directly into her brain.
" I'll be out soon enough, don't you worry about that. I'm surprised that a leader like you would let someone get under their skin so easily. You arn't worth 1.5 million dollars. Hell, you arn't even worth 250 dollars. " Eliza said, rotating her shoulder blades.
"I'm pregnant and stressed...under different circumstances where I'm not obligated to so many, your ability to breath on your own would not be possible right now." *tricity walked away from the cell and headed toward the door.*
Dont worry, Mike. I'm alright...I shouldn't have come down here by myself, but I wanted to talk to her.
Eliza looked at her nails, and blew on them. " Nice talking with you. I'll just keep the infomation I have to myself for now. " Eliza said, waving good-bye to Tricity. She was acting as if she was not even in a cage, like in her mind, they were caged away from her, not the other way around. She checked her nails, noticing that one of them had some gunk under it. She took a hair pin out of her hair, causing it to fall down to shoulder length. She used it to pick the gunk from her nails.
"Keep the information to yourself and you'll get to stay in that cage for a while." *tricity opened the door and closed it again, putting her back against it once she was outside. she took a deep breath and then walked to the elevator to head back upstairs.*
Mike's incorporeal body followed her out. "You know, we can probably yank whatever she knows out of her head, we'd just have to drug her first to do it."
"I've thought about that...The Docprof would be best to do that because your telepathic abilities didn't work on her when she was conscious." *tricity replied, holding her stomach. a second later a tear rolled down her cheek and she sniffled.*
Eliza smirked, as she lay down on the bed, her hands behind her head. She knew that she had gotten to Tricity. Noone could withstand that much abuse, and not have it get to them.
Mike's body remained insubstantial as ever, but he could still make her 'feel' his touch, the same way he could make her 'see' and 'hear' him.
He laid an insubstantial hand on her shoulder, squeezing it gently. "That bitch didn't know what she was talking about. Your baby's fine, the Docprof made sure of it, and if you need more assurance, I can sense it's brain functioning. We both know that everything she was saying about you was complete nonsense."
Eliza let out a laugh as she though about some past times. Her mind drifted to the memory of her father, and the night she killed him. " Well, he got what he had coming to him. " Eliza said to herself, thinking of her mother.
*she smiled and sniffled again, wiping the few tears from her face.* "Yea...I know...I'm more emotional because of this pregnancy. She said she would kill me...after the baby was born. I just couldn't imagine not being in my child's life..." *tricity shook the thought from her head and took a deep breath, letting it out of her mouth.* "Sorry. I shouldn't get like this."
"Why not? Y'know, if someone was talking about me and my children like that, they'd be a corpse right now, so frankly you're showing some admirable restraint. And don't worry about that bullshit about killing you, before OR after the baby's born. She can't get near you in this place, and if she tries we can shut her down."
"I know, but still...hearing things like that." *she wiped the last tear and was glad to hear the 'ding' sound of the elevator as it opened. she stepped in and pushed the button to the second floor to head to her room and sleep for a long time.* "I'm heading to my room, Cass. Thanks for your support, I really appreciate it. You've been a huge help lately."
