The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Just as the saber tooth arrived at her location to down the winged beast, a familiar and painful pop of pressure filled her head. She snarled and flipped around to face the source of the tiny explosion. Her emerald eyes locked onto the blond haired figure across the way and she took a few steps towards her, now ignoring the winged creature that was falling from the sky with his claws extended towards her.
It wasn’t long before the other creature was on top of her. His sharp claws digging into her furry flesh. The saber tooth was livid. She roared and reached back with her own razor sharp claws and grasped the creature on her back, trying to pull him off of her with her superior strength. Her eyes still locked onto the figure who had come to the aid of this annoying thorn in her side, she took slow steps forward as she continued to pry the beast off of her back.

At Serena’s request, Regan turned on her heels and started looking around the large kitchen to try and find something to carry out their food on. She was looked back at Serena working away in the kitchen like a professional chef and she smiled. That girl could really multitask.
It wasn’t too long before Regan had managed to find a large serving tray in one of the cabinets and brought it back over to where Serena was running around the kitchen. As things got finished, Regan silently placed them on the tray and waited for the next item. Then Serena asked a question that the feline really didn’t want to answer. She shuffled around a bit, but decided that Serena was not one to judge and she was a good friend. She could tell her story if she wanted to hear it.
“Well it’s a bit of a long story, but the short version is that my “Father” found me in Ireland and brought me back here with him so I could have a better life.” She only gave a crumb of information for the moment. It was a very long story, so she was only going to tell it once she was sure that Serena wanted to hear it all.

Regan took another slow step forward as she watched the brunette’s braid fly wildly around her head as she shook it. She was camping to get away from the city. That made the feline relax even more. There was no threat here, just two people who had stumbled across each other while trying to relax and escape the city.
“I’m not camping. I just came out here to do a bit of fishing, maybe some hunting. I needed to get away and back to nature myself. You are welcome to join me here if you’d like. I’ll try not to scare all the fish away.” She said with a small laugh. There were plenty of fish in the water for them both to share.
The red headed feline waded her way to the river’s edge where she had all of her things and placed the dead fish on the ground beside her things. She would clean it later when she had a few more to take home with her. Seeing as there was not going to be any conflict between the pair, Regan thought it would be fitting to be polite and introduce herself. “My name is Regan, it’s nice to meet you.”

Responding to the woman’s question, the odd colored feline nodded. “They are a decent size for this time of year I suppose.” The soft Irish tones in her voice a little more apparent now while speaking full sentences.
She cautiously watched the woman edge closer to her pile of things on the river bank’s edge. She didn’t seem overly hostile, but she was also being cautious in her approach towards the water. Regan relaxed a little, if this woman hated mutants, she would have most likely shown it by now. She could have easily pegged the feline with an arrow, or made a rude comment. So far she was nothing but pleasant.
Still feeling rather awkward and in her frozen position, Regan coughed slightly and straightened out. She looked down at the now dead fish in her clawed hand and sighed softly. She must really look like a beast right now. Trying to ease the bit of tension in the air, she looked up at the brunette and gave a half smile. “If these are your fishing grounds, I can leave and move elsewhere. I don’t mean to intrude into anyone’s territory by any means. You can even have this fish if you’d like, if you don’t mind the claw marks that is.” She held out the fish towards the other woman and took a slow step forward, trying to make peace even if none was really needed.

Regan sighed softly and watched the uneasy look cross over Ty’s face. She wasn’t quite sure what to say to him. She could see he cared, but he also was really hurting and looked confused. She wished she had the answers for him, but she didn’t. She had no idea what having a real relationship was like. She had been forming some friendships and learning what those were about, but love was a pure mystery to her.
Letting out another soft sigh, she stepped forward and held out her furry arms. “Come here, you really look like you need a good hug. I promise I won’t bite, or claw, or anything else cat related. Just a good tight hug for someone who seems like he really needs one.”
There the feline stood, her face honest and true. Her arms outstretched and waiting for Ty to either accept her offer of kindness or refuse it, either way, at least she was trying.

After a few moments of the pair of them standing on guard, the saber tooth let out a low growl, a final warning that she was not going down without a fight. She swiped her clawed hand on the ground in front of her, causing dirt and leaves, along with some snow, to fly up in front of her. She was threatening, but waiting. Waiting for the right moment to attack, when she had a good opening, one that would allow her massive fangs to make quick work of this creature.
Another roar emanated from the beast and it made the large cat’s ears flatten on the top of her head. She was really getting annoyed with this creature. He launched himself at her once again, claws extended and ready to rip her throat out. She let out a hiss as he came towards her. She grasped his clawed hands in her own and leaned back, letting the force of his attack roll them backwards. She placed her feet on his belly and pushed him off of her before he could bite, letting go of his hands as she launched his form off of her own.
Not giving the creature a chance to hit the dirt, the saber tooth rolled to her feet and ran towards the beast that she had just tossed into the air. She was so fast she was almost a blur of white and green fur. She made her way to where he was falling and attempted to pin him down under her large form. She grew tired of the games and knew it was time to end them once and for all.

Regan followed Serena out of the greenhouse and locked the door behind her. The warm sun on her fur was soothing and it made her purr lightly as she closed her eyes and took in a deep breath of the air around her. The wonderful scents of an approaching Spring filled her cat like nose. The melting snow, the freshness in the air, it was all so wonderful. She wondered if Serena could smell such things with her human nose. She guessed that she could but just not to the same degree that her feline self could. There were a few things that she liked about being a cat, and her sense of smell was one of them.
Once they had arrived in the empty kitchen, Serena asked what they should have for lunch. Regan shrugged her fur covered shoulders and smiled softly. “I’m not really picky to be honest. I like pretty much everything. Just make sure if we are having meat, that it’s cooked! My other self may not mind the taste and texture of raw flesh sliding down her throat, but this part of me is more human and sophisticated.” The feline said with a laugh.
She did really enjoy Serena’s company quite a bit and she was glad that they had become friends. It was nice to be able to feel normal around someone for a change, instead of feeling like a freak. Serena seemed to see past the fur and her feline traits to the person that was underneath. Regan would never be able to express her gratitude and appreciation for that. Finally breaking the little moment of self thought, she asked, “Is there anything I can do to help?”

Regan watched the pair out of the corner of her emerald eyes with a small smile. The two actually fit quite well together, at least like this they did. She moved over slightly as Tses brought over the eggs and set them on the counter gently. "Thanks Tses."
The feline gave a soft giggle as Tses was asking about frosting and sprinkles when the batter wasn't even mixed together yet. She was about to explain the process when Ty beat her to it. She smiled and nodded at Tses to confirm that what he had said was the truth. Just then Ty had asked her to crack the eggs into the batter since he had a habit of getting shells in it. "I can try. Claws and eggs tend not to go together all that well." She said with a smile as she wiggled her clawed fingers in the air at him. Carefully she grasped an egg in the pads of her furry fingers, it took a few odd tries to get it as her sharp claws got in the way. She held it over the bowl and tapped a clawed finger from her other hand against the shell and it split.
Now was the fun part, trying to get the shell apart! With her rough tongue sticking out of the corner of her feline mouth, she carefully used her claws to open the cracked egg and have the inner contents fall into the batter. It was a success! She had done it! She bounced a few times and giggled quite contently. Then she spotted the second egg, she had to attempt this process again. Oh how being a cat could be so unhelpful when trying to do the simplest things.

A picnic with tea in the sunshine, that sounded absolutely wonderful! It was a beautiful day and what better way to spend it? “Ok Serena, that sounds like a great plan! I can help you make the lunch and tea if you’d like.”
Regan took Serena’s apron from her and hung it up next to her own as she looked around and made sure everything was in place before they decided to lock up the greenhouse and head out for the afternoon. “Well I think all is in order, let’s head out to the kitchen, now I’m hungry!” She laughed and started to head to the door to hold it open and let Serena go out first.
Regan gave Ty a small chuckle as he commented about Tses's lack of blender ownership. She just smiled and helped Tses get the cake mix open and into the bowl. At this point Tses had climbed up onto the counter and was staring into the bowl and talking about noodles. Ty jumped in and looked content that she had remembered something as well as the memories that were clearly flooding his mind.
Regan remained silent as Tses inspected the box and figured out that they needed to have eggs in the mix. She was trying to get off of the counter and Regan was about to help her when Ty came over and helped Tses down. Regan moved out of the way and gave them a soft smile before taking the box in her clawed hand and reading over the instructions. “We need two eggs Tses.” She said somewhat solemnly to the pair. She was feeling kind of useless now. Ty was here and just in the little while he had been there, Tses had remembered something. Being with Ty was what she needed, but part of her wished that she was able to help more than by just making some cupcakes.
Regan smiled as she finished her last plant. “Voila!” She said with her clawed hands on her hips, clearly proud of the work they had accomplished so far. She listened to Serena speak and she responded in kind. “I don’t have anything else planned for today so far. I was expecting to have to spend my day out here working alone, but since you’ve helped me out, I’m done early!” She said excitedly.
She started cleaning up the work bench and took off her apron and hung it up on a hook before moving to the basin to wash her furry hands. “So what would you like to do now? I have the rest of the day off now thanks to you, maybe we could do something that you like to do?”
“I don’t even know what to say to you Ty. I’m no expert on relationships, seeing as I’ve never had one, but I’m pretty sure that relationships are not supposed to make you miserable. They are supposed to make you feel good, aren’t they?” She was honestly questioning it, but she knew she had a valid point behind it.
Regan listened as Ty tried to make Tses seem better then she actually was and all she could do was chuckle. “No you are not helping her case at all, but I give you points for trying Ty. You must really care about her to try and defend her in such a way. She’s a lucky girl to have someone to love her so deeply.” She gave him a fanged smile and admired him. Here was a man who loved a woman who had the soul of a monster but a pretty face. Maybe there was hope after all that someone could love the face of a monster with a pretty soul.
Regan was at a total loss for words, this woman was on a totally different planet. Regan was sure she was intelligent, but when it came to interacting with people, Regan gave this woman a big fat ‘F’. Deciding that debating and trying to make her point was getting them nowhere other than filling the air with a tension that a knife couldn’t even cut through, Regan sighed and simply said. “Ok, whatever.” The statement wasn’t something the feline woman would normally say to someone, but she had frankly reached her limit with this woman. She was rude and judgmental, and Regan wanted no part of it anymore.
Regan was just about ready to leave the room when the blond woman opened her mouth again and stuck her foot so far into it she was going to need a crowbar to get it out. Regan growled fiercely at the woman before her eyes started to well up with tears. She was so angry and hurt by the woman’s statement that her emotions conflicted each other. The beast within her wanted to shred this woman apart, but the human side of her felt like she was just sucker punched in the stomach. Her watery eyes glared at the woman and the look of hurt was clearly displayed on her feline features. “I wish you would have just kept your big, fat mouth shut and your opinions to yourself.”
