The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

*Janie giggled and tried to pick the bot up, but she struggled and gave up.* "It's not really a toy, Janie, so be careful." Janie: "Did you shoot it with electricity, Ms. Tipper?" "Um...well, yes. It scared me." *The little girl laughed again and petted Elvis's head. She then climbed into Tricity's lap.* Janie: "Can I make it do stuff?" "Yes, but nothing ridiculous, Janie." *Tricity said, though she had, in a way, commanded it to eat shit. Janie thought for a moment and then spoke.* Janie: "DO A CARTWHEEL!!"
*Tricity covered her mouth she was laughing so hard until she heard a knock at the door and Janie's voice on the other side.* Janie: "MS. TIPPER?! CAN I COME IN??" "Yes..yes, come in Janie." *She mentally shut the television off as the little girl came running inside, obviously curious about what her Headmistress was laughing about. When she came around the corner, Janie smiled from ear to ear, immediately bending over to play with the bot.* Janie: "COOL!! WHEN DID YOU GET THIS??" "Janie, please stop yelling...I'm right here! He came this morning. Talk to him." *Janie smiled and plucked at the bot's head.* Janie: "What's your name, robot?"
*Tricity broke out into laughter so hard that tears formed in her eyes. It seemed the Technobot was completely serious.* "And what do you know about Elvis?"
"Well that's definitely not a nickname." *Tricity tapped her finger on her lips and then started to talk out loud.* "TB? Techy? Botty? Bot? Runt??" *She started laughing again.* "How about you decide what you want, Technobot Unit 40237?"
*Tricity smirks and nods her head.* "Very impressive. This is probably a long shot, but do you know anything about the green and red stones used to control mutants?"
*Tricity burst out laughing, something she hadn't done in a very long time.* "I see you've been programmed with a sense of humor. Um...cancel the request of eating shit. What kind of information do you store? Only commands given to you or can you store information and receive it like a normal desktop computer?"
*Tricity looked at the bot and then bent down near its level to better see its structure. It was definitely state of the art. It shot out a small spark, making Tricity jump back in her chair.* "Uh, no...well, what can you do?? Do you even understand what I'm saying?"
*Tricity was starting to get a little creeped out about the conversation and hoped Charles would be available to sort all of this, getting a better understanding.*
Tricity: Right. Well, I'll contact you later then. Good bye.
"Jesus..." *Tricity noticed that Technofreak had responded back.*
Tricity: YES WARNING OF HIM WAS REQUIRED! I nearly had a heart attack!! I can't have that thing following me around. I have a pet already, plus a good number of kids.
