The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Once Streak gets to talk to CS and Shin then we can start profiling the attackers and lead up to the general whenever he makes himself known. Forte's ok with it but we'd have to wait if we want to profile the general. Probably not so if we wanted to start with the zodiacs themselves. They could be traced to the general.

Why the car? The car was his baby. Streak drove along the streets, looking for a place to go tonight. It was a pretty easy night as far as nights go. He'd been cleared from the undercover work for a while and he was looking to just relax. A nice and normal evening is what he deserved. Unfortunately, his nice and normal evenings usually didn't end nice and normal. Something always got in the way and changed his night.
Streak's drive was a nice one. Traffic was light and didn't look like changing any time soon. That is, until he took a left turn. This brought him to a stand still. It looked like there was a mob happening. This wasn't a good thing. He sat in his car because there were other people stuck in their cars from the mob. His car was closest to the side of the road and there were only a few cars that were parked there. Streak was trying to tell what was going on before he jumped in. Assessing the situation was the best way for him to get an idea of the situation.
His head was on a swivel. He was looking around like an owl and missed seeing the person go flying into his car. A loud thump followed by a slump of a person went along Streaks car. He was definitely going to have to get it detailed after this. The silvermancer decided to step in. This was getting out of hand and he wanted to avoid the blood shed if that was possible. Unfortunately, he already saw some blood on the ground. Even though it was night, this was New York and it was always lit up pretty well.
Streak covered his body in silver and walked through the mob of people. Many didn't notice him walking through until he was already in front of them, and when they saw him they moved away. Streak walked right in front of the alien looking mutant. "What's going on here?" Streak asked. A punch came at his head, accompanied by a cry of "Get the mutants!" He caught his arm and flipped the man over, slamming him into the ground. Streak looked back at the other mutant looking for an answer. There had to be a reason for all this chaos. People didn't usually just mob like this unless something, or someone, was involved. The last time this happened was the riots. Streak was on assignment for it but there was still some whiplash effects from it all.
The X-men kept himself on guard. Why were there so many birds flying around? They were all attacking the people like seagulls being offered food at the beach. Streak swatted at one of the crows as it came at him. They didn't seem to care what they went after, human or mutant. Either way the silver manipulator didn't see any reason this violence had started.

I could throw Streak into the open thread and possibly meet up with Lana at the station once he sees some similarities between what he's witnessed and the attacks on CS and Isabel.

Streak would be a good fit if you wanted a sparring partner. Streak is well versed in different martial arts forms and could help with the mutation thing as well.

Streak had an appearance to uphold. The other gang members just barely started to trust him like they trusted everyone else. He figured his eyes unnerved some of them. Since he hadn't been around as long he needed to play the part as perfectly as he could. This assignment would be over soon enough. As all his friends got rowdy and tormented people he stuck with trashing the building. The silver manipulator picked up a lamp and hurled it across the room. When it's destination ended it was lying in a heap with broken light bulb and shattered base against a wall.
The undercover x-men watched a couple of his biker buddies tangle with a few well trained younger kids. "Hey Jacob!" One of the bikers called out, "Why don't you stop trashing the furniture and meet scare some people?" It wasn't a request it was a challenge. As conflicted as he already was with the whole terrorizing thing he couldn't punk out in plan view of some of his fellow bikers; especially at a challenge like that. They hadn't seen him do much since he joined them on their east coast cruise and some were looking forward to seeing him in action.
The silver mutant smiled and grabbed a scrawny guy dressed as a bell hop. The bell hop was supposed to be one of the ghosts lurking the building. However, when Streak grabbed his collar the guy became very much alive and cowered at the thought of getting beaten. "Sorry." Streak muttered to the guy before beating him unconscious.
He was sure the muttered apology didn't make the guy feel any better, especially when he would be waking up with a black eye and some minor contusions. But it made Shawn feel better knowing that he at least couldn't control the situation without blowing his cover. A couple of other bikers had gathered around to witness the beating and all started guffawing and shouting their approval before dispersing to follow their own paths of fun. The man that had called to Streak had picked on the wrong guy and was taken out by a rock monster.
Streak had only seen one person use that and it had been a while since he'd seen the guy. Streak was the pilot for Locke's first x-men mission to the volcano. He sauntered over to the Locke, who was still holding onto a kid and watching Chuck go down an elevator. As soon as the doors closed Streak kicked at the gravel thing that had taken his companion out."Hey Locke. Long time no see."

Months ago Streak had been approached by the NYPD to help them with a problem they were having with a certain gang. The Bad Wolf's had been terrorizing the city for a while and they were suspected in being involved in certain mutant hate crimes during the riots. This is why Streak was involved. He'd become one, of many, liaisons for the police as part of his X-men training and had helped in many cases that needed 'special' attention.
The silvermancer had been brought in on this unit to try and find some material that the police could pin them, especially their leader Chuck, with some charges. He'd gone undercover and assumed the alias, Jacob Dollin, to help them out. It had taken a while for him to get through and in to the good graces of Chuck, the ruthless and powerful leader of the gang. He'd gotten a motorcycle and grown his facial hair out to blend in with the scruffy group. No one would believe that a clean shaven person rode with the Bad Wolf's.
As it stood they were just coming back from a trek along the entire East Coast and finally arrived back in New York on Halloween. The night when things can, and usually did, go haywire. Their position in the pack normally determined how high up they were in the gang. The closer to Chuck the more important they were. As it stood Streak was in the middle of the pack wearing his scuffed up combat boots, blue jeans, black shirt, and his leather biker jacket that had the emblem of the Bad Wolf gang on the back of it. A few other patches adorned the jacket that signified his level of commitment to the gang but no much else.
Streak had been able to inform the NYPD that they were coming back to the city, unfortunately what he didn't know was that Chuck would have engine problems. Chuck could always be heard over the roar of the bikes engines and tonight was no exception. They'd already spent hours during the day driving back towards the city and everyone was pretty beat. Chuck pulled off at the side of the Lion's Head that had been empty for a very long time to rest for the night. In the morning someone would fix up his bike.
No one could have predicted that the police and fire departments would be putting on a haunted house in the place the same night that they rolled into town. Streak parked his bike in the line of the bikers. Something he'd picked up from his time with them, and dismounted cutting his engine. The gang all followed suit and sauntered through only to find the hotel full of people. Streak scratched his beard and stayed looking for other people. This was going to be complicated. All they wanted was to squat for the night; however, it didn't look like they were going to be going to sleep anytime soon. The silver manipulator followed the rest of the gang into the hotel and pushed a few people out of the way. He needed to maintain his cover for a while longer. But there were kids here and he knew Chuck had no aversion to threatening or hurting the kids. This was going to be tricky...

I like the idea. It sounds like ti would be fun to play out; however, I agree with Locke and they do sound a little over powered to me in certain aspects. It'd just take a few certain aspects and it sounds like it'd be a blast.

(OOC: Sorry it took so long. Been busy hope it's ok Shade)
Streak was lucky that he'd hit his target. Never having used the weapon before it was a lucky shot and he'd probably never be able to do it again even if he tried. There were to many factors for him to feel accurate with it. Seeing Shade on the ground all tied up was comforting for Streak. Watching his shot sail wide of its target helped lift up his mood, if just a bit. Streak slowed his pace and walked up to Shade who was still laying on the ground.
As the silvermancer walked up to his prey he couldn't help but smile. The smugness washed away and was replaced by suspicion as Shade surrendered. That was a little to easy. Streak thought. He couldn't remember the last time that Shade had given up or run away so easily. He knew that papers had flown out of the shadow mutants grasp and landed somewhere in the snow. The silver mutant walked pasted his foe, and picked up the papers that fell out of his jacket. He didn't look like he was going anywhere any time soon.
Streak pulled up the mutant, undid the surujin, and tied it around his hands in front of him. "Let's go. You and me are going to have a little fun together." As he led Shade back towards the mansion he stopped at the tiger and Kaitlyn. "Pick her up and let's go." He ordered Shade. The X-men waited for his captor to pick her up so that they could get her back to the mansion and get her to Doc Prof.
Now all Streak needed to do was to think of a good place to hold Shade until they would start the proper interrogations.

Streak was ignoring the tiger now. She seemed to have been interrupted in her rage by the smell of blood. Even Streak could smell it. He knew she was loosing blood fast but there was nothing he could do about it now; not if he wanted to finally catch Shade. there were plenty of reasons that he should be angry. He'd hurt a student for one. Apparently he'd stolen something from the mansion. But more importantly Shade had made this attack personal with his comment from earlier.
Shade bolted. Streak took a second to look at where he was going. The shadow mutant was heading for one of the lights. The silvermancer chased after him. He wasn't about to let Shade get to that light and get a bigger advantage. The X-men had already cut part of his cloak, which limited Shade's own shadows. Streak was catching up but he still wasn't sure if he was going to get this guy. As Streak ran he formed a silver Surujin. It wasn't as intricate as some of the ones he'd seen in movies but it had the essentials. Two weights on either end and a long piece of rope connected them.
He swung the piece around his head as he got closer. Once he thought it had enough speed he released it. The surujin flew through the air and sailed towards Shade. Even though Streak was aiming for his body as it flew, his inexperience showed and it dropped and looked more like they would wrap his feet. He'd still be able to destroy the light because his hands were free, but it might buy Streak enough time to catch up to him. As the Surujin flew Streak prepared himself for the attack that was sure to come when he'd trapped his deadly foe.

"I grew up with it, my parents being what they were. Well that and the weird cultural customs of whoever they happened to be studying at the time."
Her smile looked as tired as his did. Apparently she'd been just as busy as he had been with just as little sleep. Streak couldn't help that she had experienced way more than most people would in their entire life because of how her family lived. If they traveled as much as she said, then it would only make sense that she was very diverse. Finally it was confession time. She told him what exactly brought her to this giant city.
"Eh, I'm a mutant. Just like here, other places don't take to kindly to mutants at times so after an incident my parents sent me back here to finish up high school. I'm an EMT when I'm not here. That's what has got me so tired. That and the brunch rush."
"True but we're working on getting them to accept us." Streak said to her. "I'm a mutant too. I work at a school that offers a safe haven for mutants. We've got a pretty good set up there and most humans don't come near the place because the government is on our side...Now." He didn't want to delve into details about her incident unless she volunteered them. He'd heard plenty of stories about parents sending their kids to the mansion to learn control and many of them stayed because it was a good place.
"They didn't always like us there. They thought we were building an army. But we've put that rumor to rest, for the most part. Everything that's happening now doesn't really inspire that they'll leave us alone." He didn't usually describe his powers. It was usually just easier to show people. The silvermancer's silver slid out from under his shirt sleeve and traveled down his right arm. The whites of his eyes and pupils were now gone and replaced with a constant silver color.
The silver covered his entire arm and hand for a minute. Streak looked at Athena with his silver eyes and said, "Many of us work with the NYPD as a sort of mutant response team and with the government officials to make sure that they don't try to do something that will entice another riot and end badly. That's just one reason I'm so tired." Streak retracted the silver from his arm and his eyes returned to their normal, white parts and silver color.
He was never scared to present his powers. Some said it was a curse but he thought it only as a gift to use in the way the he saw fit. Shawn was sure that being an EMT had her pretty busy with these near riots and revolutions going on lately. Just then his stomach rumbled and he remembered he hadn't ordered yet. He'd drank some of the coffee but mostly they'd been talking. "Oh can I get some eggs scrambled and pancakes by the way?" He'd completely forgotten the reason that he'd come in the diner.

"No I'm not letting him walk out of here." This person really didn't understand how things worked. Streak knew quite well that Shade wouldn't take the bait to leave. He wouldn't have been stupid enough to get caught so easily stealing something by Streak. There were just to many variables and he was just to bad at math to do them all at once. Slowly the answers started to dawn on him, but the knife was just a different story all together.
As soon as it left Shade's hand Streak was after him. If nothing more than to get back what he stole. He wasn't the only on on him. The tiger lady was faster than him and raced past she went after the shadow mutant. The roar was sure to wake the neighbors and all Streak saw was a flash fur race by him. There was apparently more than just fur and a weird look to this kitty.
Streak formed a dagger as he reached Shade. He slashed with it. Whether he hit him or not didn't matter. What mattered was that his blade at least tore a little into his coat. Streak knew that Kaitlyn was hurt but he needed to deal with Shade before he got away with whatever it was that he was taking.
(OOC: Sorry shade don't know if he's wearing a cloak or trench coat)
