The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Streak was done dealing with the now inert desk. It looked normal, except for the giant hole in it from where it was stabbed. They may want to replace that thing when they get back to work. Streak through. He just had the image of someone trying to write a memo and stabbing through their paper because they were writing over the hole in the desk. Amelia seemed to be following him as they hurried off to catch up with Jorge and Kealey. They needed to keep moving towards this guy, otherwise they might lose their shot at getting this guy.
"Expect things to get a little more crazy when we get closer to this guy." The silver mutant said to Amelia. She wasn't an X-men but she was here so he needed to be sure that she was ready for whatever came at them when they got closer. Finally, Streak caught up with Jorge. He looked ready with his snake-water stuff going on. "How far do we have before we get to where this guy is? Streak asked Jorge.
It was Jorge and Kealey's jobs to find this guy and he wanted to have a general idea of when things were about to go nuts. The silvermancer had his weapons ready for anything to jump at them and surprise them. For the next few minutes they seemed to be in a calm. Streak had the feeling that it was like the calm before the storm, and that this psycho was hoarding all his best defenses for a surprise attack on them.
This guy had been unsuccessful in keeping the people inside the building thanks to them but they still weren't out of the clear. There was plenty of risks for them before this little adventure was over.

Streak was enjoying Emily's accent. He didn't hear many people talk like that. The most interesting one he'd heard recently was a new mutant from Ireland. Accents always made the person sound cooler than others who just talked normally, in his opinion. That was probably why he was enjoying this conversation with Emily and Sarah so much. Sarah didn't seem to have much of an accent but he could tell that she wasn't from here originally. The West Coast always sounded different than anywhere else. He blamed California for that though.
The silvermancer took a sip of his drink and looked at Sarah. It was an interesting question that she'd posed but he thought it might be a little to personal of an explanation, even if the decision for Emily to work with her uncle was just because they were close. He decided to change the subject to something a little lighter and possibly a little less embarrassing for both of them.
Before Emily could answer he turned to Sarah and said, "So, Sarah, what kind of paintings do you do? Are we hanging out with the next Picasso or Michelangelo?" Streak knew that they were both very different painters but they were the most familiar he was with paintings. Art was always a subject he never really understood. As far as he was concerned the artist seemed to make up some definition about his/her painting that never seemed to make sense.
He actually began to wonder what exactly she painted. The difference in the types of paintings that were available was staggering. Finally he said, "Either way I'd still go to see your paintings." He flashed his best Prince Charming smile at her. Shawn was starting to feel the affects of the alcohol but he certainly didn't really care as long as he didn't make a fool of himself.

Sounds great Rook. It looks like you've really thought this out. I would be really interested in having Streak jump in for a good majority of this. Just let me know when were looking at this.

Both girls declined the offer for another drink. If he was with his friends he would have been accused of babysitting the drink. But he wasn't with his friends so he let the comment go. He supposed they were just light weights and didn't want to get super plastered tonight. He couldn't blame them...Getting Ghost faced was never really a good thing when you weren't with a group of your friends.
Shawn smiled when Emily announced that her friend, what was her name again? wasn't going to be returning. He was a little glad of that. She wasn't the person he was interested in anyways. The one he was interested in was right next to him. He paid attention to their comments as Emily asked what they do. A funeral home. Now that's surprising. He certainly wouldn't have pegged her as one of those to work around death. Sarah's job made more sense. "Well, you're in a good place for artists." Streak commented to Sarah.
His answer was a little more complicated. He couldn't simply tell them that he worked for the X-men and had traveled all over the world saving people. No but he could make his job seem pretty uninteresting. Finally he answered. "I'm the Head of Security at a special school. I also help the police with some of their investigations." It was partly true. But he couldn't afford to tell them everything. He knew little enough about them as it was and they weren't going to get things out of him from just drinking alcohol. It'd take more than that.
Streak wanted to avoid as many questions as possible so he turned to Emily and said, "So how did you get into the funeral home business? It doesn't seem like that's one of those jobs that, when you're a kid you're like, 'I wanna work around dead people when I grow up'." He took a sip of his drink and smiled at Sarah. He was really enjoying his time around her. She seemed like an interesting person. He'd known artists in the past and he knew that they were at the very least interesting people.

Streak was still busy dealing with rhino desk, but he did manage to catch a glimpse of Amelia every once in a while. The desk was really hard for him to do anything against with his staff. On the next charge Streak hurdled over the desk and to the other side. Fortunately the desk was stuck on its momentum and ran headlong into a cubicle. Streak took the time to collapse the staff and turn it into a sword. Undoubtedly his favorite weapon, it was also the sharpest and he was certainly going to be able to take care of this desk now.
Amelia seemed to be handling most of the screaming people, and the amount of the people seemed to have lessoned a lot. Unfortunately the desk had figured out how to get out of the cubicle. Barreling through it was one way, the silvermancer would have preferred to just go through the opening, But he supposed that desks weren't the smartest and he was just going to have to teach it a lesson. As the desk came back at him he readied himself for it. Streak jumped and cleared the desk by inches. The desk had learned a little and the next thing Streak knew he found himself on laying on the floor. His foot had been caught by one of the legs of the desk. As the X-men got up the desk turned around.
Streak grabbed his sword and once again jumped on top of the desk. This time he stabbed the desk straight through the center. He wasn't actually sure how to kill a desk but it seemed to work since it started to make fewer and fewer movements to try and throw him off. Once it stood still he climbed off and took a deep breath. He then spoke into his communicator, "Jorge. Kealey. Any luck with finding this guy?" He was a little out of breath from all the jumping and everything that he'd just had to go through with the desk, but nothing to bad. Streak placed his sword on his back and it just kind of dissolved back into his skin until all the was showing was the handle, in case he needed it again. Shawn stood near Amelia and helped her point in the direction to go. It seemed that she got most of the people out of the building, "Come on Amelia. Let's go join Kealey and Jorge."

Streak was having fun with this little group of girls that was around him. Streaks question to Janette went unanswered because her phone rang. It must have been important because she left to take it and he figured that it was probably work related. To be honest Shawn was glad that she had to take the phone call. He was never one for the super bold girl.
The silver eyed man tuned into Sarah's conversation just in time to hear the other one in red say her name. Shawn slid up closer to Sarah at this point and answered her "Ya I'm having fun. I'm Shawn by the way." He said the last part to Emily. He raised his glass to the other two and took another sip.
He could tell that Sarah was teasing him. The silvermancer just hoped that Sarah wasn't going to back off just because Janette was forcing herself in the middle. He certainly wasn't going to give up because of it. "She's just a little..eager." Shawn said sarcastically.
"Do you want another drink Sarah? Emily?" One of his good friends philosophies was, when in doubt give them alcohol. And he was just following his advice. Neither seemed to eager to drink but he was mainly trying to stay in their conversation.

"No, I'm with some friends. They're probably dancing or drinking. Either way, I don't really want to go back to them."
Yes. Winning! Streak was on a roll. He was making some serious progress with Sarah. He was hoping that he could keep it up and this would turn into a very good night for all interested parties. Their conversation was cut short the bigger of the two that both him and Sarah had spotted moments before slipped in between them. Streak could tell that she was trying really hard to keep his attention.
Not that he was really complaining to much. He certainly didn't mind having more than one girl vying for his attention at the moment. "Hi Janette. I'm Shawn. Thanks for the offer but I'm ok on the drink. Maybe the next round." Streak said holding up his practically full glass up for her to see.
Shawn craned his head around Janette to look at Sarah. He'd certainly seen, and used this tactic before. Never to this extent; but they were pulling it off very nicely. He could see that Sarah was now engaged in a conversation with the girl in red. Ironically the girl in red was the one that he'd spotted from across the dance floor, not really the one that was in front of him right now. Streak decided he might as well talk to Janette since Sarah was in the middle of discussing wardrobe options with the other girl.
In Streak's humble opinion this was either going to be a night for the record books or an ordinary club night for him. Which one it was going to be depended on how he made his next move. The ball was in his court and he was about to run with it. "So Janette..." He took a sip of his drink again. "What brings you to the club tonight? Were you just looking for me or am I just a perk for the night?" Streak kidded with her. He didn't really care but it was still a good start to this conversation away from replacing full drinks.

Streak couldn't help but recognize how nice the whole place was. Why don't we visit this place more often? I could get used to a place like this. he thought.
After Streak took a dip in the pool. The temperature was perfect. He couldn't have asked for any better weather for a trip to Cali. Streak climbed out of the pool, dried off and headed back inside. Cafas was ready to get the day started and so was he.
"Righto guys, time to hit Venice. It's a hard life isn't it?"
Steak smiled. He knew Cafas was right. "Why do I feel like we're on a much better episode of Jersey shore. Except we're better looking. I'm ready so the sooner we get started the sooner we can get in the spotlight." Streak waited for Cafas to respond as he picked up his things to get ready to leave.

Sarah, as it turned out her name was, was attractive. Up close she was even more attractive. She turned her chair to face him and he knew that he was making progress already. He'd only been in the club for a few minutes but he was already ahead on the game. It might have been because she might have been there longer but he wasn't going to judge.
Streak noticed that she saw some people. He looked out onto the dance floor where another attractive girl in red was dancing with her friend. "Do you know them?" Streak took another sip of his drink and it seemed to go down much easier this time. He was a little tempted to ask her to dance but they were both enjoying their drinks and there would be plenty of time for dancing later.
Streaks silver eyes caught light of the bar as he flashed a smile at Sarah. "So are you waiting for someone?" He didn't want to stall her if she was on her way to meet someone.

It was night time. Time for the night life to come out and play. He'd spent a lot of time working lately. A lot of missions. A lot of time paperwork at the mansion and even more time training. He'd taken a lazy day today. Just a light workout and a lot of rest. He was ready to go to the club tonight. Streak was dressed in a night white button down shirt and a pair of dark blue jeans and a pair of black shoes. He needed a little fun time to relax and figure out what was going on around here. Streak was glad to be busy but there were times when a nice night out would be something that he wanted every once in a while.
Streak parked his car a little away from the club. There was no reason for him to be to close in case something went down, he didn't want his car to get messed up. As he walked back Shawn scoped out the girls that were heading in the same direction as him. He was getting plenty of looks and was also giving plenty of looks back. There was no shame in it. He wasn't tied down, as far as he knew anyways. His last long term girlfriend hadn't been around in a while and he figured that meant they were over. Technicalities aside Streak was here to jut have some fun, drink a little bit and maybe meet a few new girls.
Once Shawn was up to the club he simply waved to the bouncer and was let in. It's always a good thing when you've done a few favors for the owner of the club. They always treat you well. Skipping the line was just one of the perks that he got. Streak walked up to the bar and ordered a crown and coke, when he finally got the bartenders attention. It was quickly made for him and he noticed a girl standing at the bar near him wearing a very attractive blue top and shorts. He certainly wasn't going top pass up this opportunity.
Shawn walked over to her and said, "Hey there. My names Shawn what's yours?" He took a sip of his drink and tried not to make a face. They'd made his drink especially light tonight, which meant that the drinks were strong tonight.
