Hair color and style: Light blonde and about shoulder-length. Sometimes she curls it.

Build: Very thin and feminine.
Visible mutation: Below her waist, her legs can morph into a scorpion’s legs and tail. They’re black and are in proportion to the rest of her body, which doesn’t morph.
Scars/ Tattoos/ Piercings: She has her ears pierced once, her bellybutton pierced, and a black scorpion on the back of her neck. She has a 4 inch scar on her lower back from a fight she got into in high school.

Everyday clothing style: She likes to wear things that show off her model-looking figure and fit her well. She likes dresses and skirts a lot.
Uniform: Just a leather top. When she uses her power, she doesn’t need pants.

Character

Personality: Deirdra has a tendency to act nice to someone’s face, but she usually doesn’t really like people. She’s a big flirt and likes to flaunt herself with semi-revealing outfits. Deirdra will bat her eyelashes more when around men. She has very good self esteem and loves being a mutant. Deirdra doesn’t trust people easily because she herself is not very trustworthy. When people really get to know her, some think she may be a sociopath, but has been tested and is not so. She usually keeps her emotions hidden from others and is good at faking how she really feels.

Hobbies/ Interests: Deidra enjoys drawing and reading horror stories. She also knows how to play the harp and likes it pretty well. In her free time, she likes to go out and drink and party.
Job or part time job and description: Deirdra works at a secretary at a dentist’s office. She’s become very skilled at faking interest in people and acting like she enjoys her job. Interacting with people is not something she wants to do, but she knows it must be done and it still trying to finish her schooling for becoming a magazine illustrator.

Fears/ phobias/ concerns: Deirdra is scared of putting trust into others. She’s been let down enough in the past to think badly of it.
Special talents: Her drawing skills are pretty good and her harp playing is quite excellent. She got a music scholarship while she was in high school.

Morality

Good/ bad/ neutral/ other: Deirdra is more likely to be called ‘bad’. She dislikes people and really has a big distaste for regular humans. Her opinion on laws is pretty low. She thinks because she has a mutation, it makes her above the police and the justice system. Even though she thinks this, she lays low most of the time.

Mutations: Deirdra’s lower body (below her waist), can transform into the legs and tail of a scorpion. They’re black and have a hard outer shell. Her tail produces a toxin similar to a regular scorpion’s.

Mutation description: The body below her waist transforms into a scorpion’s body minus the head and pincors. Her upper half remains human and the lower half remains in proportion with the rest of her. It has a hard shell and is black in color.
-Strengths: Her scorpion legs allow her to climb up a wall if there is something that they can grip onto. The outer shell is quite harder than the average human body and protects her lower half quite well.
-Weaknesses: She's a lot heavier when she switches into this form. She weighs about 250 pounds in this form due to how hard and large her lower body is. The upper half of her body is still as vulnerable as any other person's is. She also ruins a lot of clothes this way because they'll rip when she transforms.

Secondary mutation description: Her tail produces a toxin similar to a regular scorpion's but because she is so large compared to normal scorpions, her toxin can paralyze humans and is able to kill smaller animals.
-Strengths: It can paralyze people for about 10 minutes if she gets them with one sting. If a normal, average-sized person gets hit with her venom 3 times within a half hour, it will kill them. Smaller animals only need to take one strike for them to die. A mule is about the biggest animal that this rule applies to.
-Weaknesses: She only has so much poison at a time due to how much her glands produce. She usually can make a liter in 5 or 6 hours, but she must be in scorpion form for it to be made. In human form, she doesn't have the right body parts to produce the toxin.

History Of Your Character:

Deirdra lived with her dad, sister, stepmother, and half-brother her whole life. The girls only got to see their mother, Dina, on holidays. This was mostly because she was in jail a lot of the time for drug use. Deirdra's stepmother came into her life when she was five years old. A few months after her father's marriage, she got her second sibling. He was named Victor and she was supposed to protect him and play nice and blah blah blah. After a while, it seemed that Victor attracted all of her father's attention and since she had no real mother, she was not a big fan of the new baby. She actually refused to call him her brother or even her half-brother.

When she was around 10, Deirdra began to act out more and more for attention. Her stepmother, Kimberly, only treat her stepdaughters like family when her husband was around. She would tell Deirdra to just leave and never come back when he would be out late. She also had a thing for calling her stupid. Unfortunately, this just made the young girl more angry and eventually all that anger would have to go somewhere.

Deirdra began to realize that she was different on her 13th birthday when she was arguing with her father about going to live with her mom, who had just gotten out of jail for the fifth time. She argued that he didn't want her there anyway, so why would it matter if she lived with her real mother? He said that because she was a druggy, it wouldn't be safe and that her life was fine at home. Deirdra began to yell about Kimberly's treatment towards her and how they loved Victor more. While she was yelling, the lower half of her body began to morph into something not-human. It resembled a scorpion's body.

Her stepmother called the police and began to screech that she was a monster. Deirdra ran down the streets in this form, trying to escape. Later she found herself at her mother's house, but Dina said that her house wasn't a place for children. Now feeling like no one wanted her, the girl began to develop a hatred for humans in general. This hatred did not spread to mutants, as she moved to a large city in North Dakota and lived with a large group of mutants that treated her like family. She continued to go to school until she graduated and then she moved to New York. She now lives in an apartment by herself in New York City.

Sample RP: Sitting behind a desk was not something Deirdra hoped to do two months from now or even tomorrow, actually. Unfortunately, she only had a few options if she wanted to continue going to school for being a magazine illustrator. A woman walked to the front desk and smiled impatiently. Deirdra glanced up from her sketchbook and sat up straight. Putting on a realistic smile, she laced her fingers together. "Hello. May I help you? Do you have an appointment?"

Unlacing her fingers, she picked up a pen and glanced down at the dentist's schedule. The woman peeked over the counter at the book. "Yes, yes. My name's Marian Jones. I'm just here for my six month check up." Deirdra ran her finger along the list until she came to the name. "Ah, yes." She looked up and smiled at the woman. "You're right here. Dr. Stevens should be out in a minute. If you'd please just take a seat and wait." She gestured to the seating area politely.

The woman turned and looked at the chairs. "Uh, I'm kind of in a hurry." What do you want me to do about it? Instead of saying this, she sighed slightly and set her pen down. "He's with another patient, but he should be done any minute, Ms. Jones." The woman crossed her arms and looked at Deirdra. "Could you go check?" No, no I cannot, you stupid human. He can only go so fast. Don't be an idiot. Of course, it's not your fault. You're just behind on the evolutionary specrtrum. This time she stood up and gave a fakey smile. "Sure, it'll only be a moment." Clenching her fists, she walked to one of the rooms.
