The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

"What is it something like Solar Flare? Keep it to one word or people will probably end up abbreviating it."
Iggy giggled and shook his head in response, "Nope! It's not Solar Flare, though, that would be a cool name. Close though!" Aiden was certainly in the right ball park.
At the coming snowball, Ignacio shielded his face from another mouth shot and laughed more.
"You're going to tell me whether or not I want to know, aren't you."
"Nope! I give you two more chances, then I'm going to tell you!"
Iggy was in the midst of turning a page in his magazine when he caught sight of something moving his peripheral vision. His kaleidoscope irises to see Martha waving at him. With a bright smile, he waved back and took an earbud out of his ear.
"¡Buenos días! ¿Dormiste bien?" The teenager asked, cocking his head to the side. He usually spoke in Spanish in the morning so that he would never lose his connections to his roots. He didn't even notice when he spoke another language to Martha.
After a couple of minutes of running around, Ignacio turned to look at Aiden.
"I have a code name in mind for myself," Iggy turned to look at him with a bright smile, "do you want to know it? I know you do!" the teen laughed and wiggled his eyebrows at Aiden. He the cupped his hands together and formed a ball of solar flares and threw it at Aiden. Heads up!"
Ignacio had a playful smirk on his face. There was no way that Juliette actually had a chocolate flavored con--.
>> ”One chocolate flavoured condom for you,..”[/color]
...¿Que? The teenager looked through the slits of his fingers and stared at the wrapped flavored condom. Ignacio slowly lowered his hand and blinked a few times. Huh, dreams did come true. Iggy said nothing as he reached and pocketed the condom.
>> ”I don’t really care what you do with it, so long as you’re safe and smart.”
"Gracias, señorita. I will use it wisely." A cheeky, sly smile came across his face. Juliette was like that cool older sister everyone wanted. Granted, his parents didn't have any other children which was rare concerning Latin families.
>> "Yeah, it may take a while, but eventually you’ll get a full spot on the team. Who knows? Maybe you’ll become the next Alchemist." The next Alchemist? That made the teenage Sun god blush. Juliette must've thought that Ignacio had a lot of potiental. That made him smile brightly.
>> ”And yeah, codenames are generally encouraged. What’s the one that you have in mind?”
Of course he had! With an even wider smile, Ignacio responded, "welll, there's a Aztec god named 'Tontiuah'. He was the god of the Sun -- specifally the Ninth Sun -- and Tollan; the heavens. I think it fits perfectly! I want to get a tattoo of him on my chest when I turn eighteen in just over a month." Juliette could probably notice the way Iggy's eyes lit up when he started talking about Tontiuah. In his opinion, he was waaay cooler than Apollo or Sol. Well, hotter.
DocProf had asked Ignacio to head to bed an hour after curfew. The latter was reclutant to leave, but he that he needed his beauty sleep (even though he didn't need it).
--- 6:00 am ---
Like every other morning, Ignacio rose up from his bed and headed to brush his teeth and wash his face. Afterwards, he put on a tank and gray running shorts and headed to the infirmary to see how Martha was doing. He was happy when he saw that she was still peacefully sleeping. Grabbing a seat, Iggy sat down, put in his earbuds, turned on his Latin rap, and flipped through a men's fashion magazine.
"¡Está bien!" Ignacio continued to raise Alice's Barbarian's defenses. He never knew that playing games with another person was so fun! Alice was fun! And she made comments that made Iggy laugh. Once the Barabian delt heavy damage to the boss, Iggy's monk started to attack the minions with quick strikes and hits. "Got it!"
After a couple of minutes more of melee hits, Ignacio felt like he was ready to perform a Spirited move. "Alright, Alice! This monk is about rack up major damage." With his tongue dipped out from his lips, the teenager hit a button and watched as Leo (the name of his monk) perform the Seven Silent Strikes on the rest of the minions, killing them all. Now with those taken care of, he could help Alice like a good supporting character.
Ignacio laughed at Aiden. He was so funny. The seventeen-year-old and went back to running. He liked this "game" that he was playing with Aiden. "I bet your code name is Snow Miser." He stuck out his tongue out from over his shoulder and continued laughing.
The teenaage Sun god made a point to start singing he Snow Miser theme song to tease him further. Ignacio hadn't had this much fun since, well, that morning playfully volleyball.
Iggy laughed, too. "It's alright. And I was eight, I think, when I moved to California. Luckily, I still managed to pick up this sultry Colombian accent." The teeenager wiggled his eyebrows and ran his tongue over his top incisors and canines. Ignacio was a flirt, but he knew that it was all in good fun. "And that sounds fun! I wouldn't mind going back to Cali for a bit."
He ran his fingers through his slicked back hair and tilted his head to the side. Ignacio studied her for a bit before looking down at her dogs. They were awfully cute.
"Sí, I miss Colombia! I can't wait to go back there. I also want to take a trip to Costa Rica when I get the chance."
After the meeting with Professor Shinbo, Ignacio was more even more excited about being an X-Men Trainee, then eventually an X-Men. He already had a costume that he wanted to wear. Of course something Aztec centric -- Juliette would most likely approve. Hopefully.
He met his Sponser by his classroom and followed Shinbo into the danger room. Iggy decided that it would be best not to mention is "snowball fight" with Aiden a few days earlier. That might've ruined his high chances of officially becoming an Trainee.
Luckily, he was a pretty good actor.
"Woah..." Iggy awed in false amazement. His kaidescope eyes scanned over the white voidness that was the Danger Room. "So, what do you want me to do, Professor Shinbo? I need direct Sunlight to activate my Tollan form."
Ignacio looked around him at the snow that was pushing into around the Danger Room. The teenager found this very fun especially since Aiden seemed like the type of person not to indulge Iggy in his reindeer games.
He looked around quickly at the white that was surrounding him. Iggy didn't know what to do so when he got a mouthful of snow, he gave a surprised sputter and yawk. "Good one, Aiden!" The teenage Sun god started running again. "I love that you can turn into a blizzard!"
Ignacio didn't know what to think about this creature that had stolen a piece of dried mango from him. Could he really allow her to take more? Iggy knitted his thick eyebrows at the dragon-thing.
"...I can forgive you, but no more stealing food!" Iggy nudged the bag of dried mango slices over to her. "...What's your name?"
Ignacio stuck out his tongue and was about to say something when he saw Aiden charge toward him. "Ha!" Iggy turned around and started running the opposite direction giggly happily. "Aiden!" He exclaimed with a smile.
He watched as the volleyball went out of bounds. Iggy jogged after it and picked it up from the grasps of Sparkle.
"And my family moved to Cali for...-- I honestly don't know. Life was fine in Colombia. Maybe they just wanted me to live in California." Iggy had no idea why his family moved. Was it because of his unique look? He didn't know.
Iggy nodded his head and picked up the pencil. He then started to jot down the way that helped him. It was a pretty simple thing for Ignacio now, but when he was Chase's age, it was hard as well. After he wrote it down, he dropped his pencil and looked over at Chase with a grin.
"There! Do you want to try some on your own with the acronym?"
>> "New York State...The Mansion?"
"New York State. Lo siento, I should've clarified."
Ignacio turned around to see Aiden's sorry excuse for a snowball. "Come on, Aiden! This is your element!" Iggy raised his hands to the "Sun" and channeled a bit of energy. Lowering his hands back down, he opened one of them and summoned up a ball of multicolored light. Ignacio then hurled it at Aiden. The light wouldn't do anything to Aiden, but it sure did look intimidating when it grew twice its size with every foot.
