OK, she had to admit, Iggy was a laugh to hang out with. He wasn't too bad at games and frankly some were just better with someone else. He had an infectious smile too, hard to be a grump with a literal sunbeam around cheering you up.

The fact he always had a host of girls wanting his attention was also awesome, she took more than one opportunity to ogle a cute girl hanging onto him. Too bad the pickings in the mansion were slim for her.

But, they did get to play games and she knew he wouldn't try anything so she was happy to have him in her room. Easier to game anyway, she could curl up on her bed with a controller and just have fun. Speaking of, he was getting close to whipping himself out if he didn't deal with the caster. "Hey, get that spark shooting sod, I've got my handful with his adds over here." The barbarian was one of her favourite classes and it had nothing to do with her amazing legs. At all.

Slim indeed. Iggy sometimes felt bad for the homosexual mutants since he was one of the few that had his picks of, well, everyone! Though, he knew deep down in his solar panel heart that Alice would find someone. She's pretty, techno-savvy, has blue hair-- any lesbian in their right mind would want to a piece of Alice. Plus, she has the whole "cross the pond" demeanor about her.

"On it, chica!" Ignacio had chosen the Monk class. It was the usual class he played whenever he did Lucifer 3. "I'm surprised you're not a demon hunter." Iggy asked as his Monk's Spirit was replenished. With his power full, he surrounded both Alice's Barbarian and his Monk with holy energy that increased both of their healths and added bonus points to their defense. "Do you want to take on the boss while I do the adds? I'm better as a support character. Plus, I can do the Seven Silent Strikes on them."

She liked the Demon Hunter, it had a really cool set of skills but frankly, nothing was more fun than being able to jump on enemies and hammer them into ground. Especially since at later levels, the barbarian got life steal perks for attacking. And you could increase your attack speed. And Gain damage reduction at low health. It was all just a bit hilarious.

"OK, switch as soon as I launch!" Watching for the right moment, she spotted the opening and her character leapt into the air before slamming down on the boss. "Got him stunned! I'll crowd control him you mop up the little'uns." Another great thing, she got plenty of stuns slows and taunts to keep enemies withing smashing distance.

"¡Está bien!" Ignacio continued to raise Alice's Barbarian's defenses. He never knew that playing games with another person was so fun! Alice was fun! And she made comments that made Iggy laugh. Once the Barabian delt heavy damage to the boss, Iggy's monk started to attack the minions with quick strikes and hits. "Got it!"

After a couple of minutes more of melee hits, Ignacio felt like he was ready to perform a Spirited move. "Alright, Alice! This monk is about rack up major damage." With his tongue dipped out from his lips, the teenager hit a button and watched as Leo (the name of his monk) perform the Seven Silent Strikes on the rest of the minions, killing them all. Now with those taken care of, he could help Alice like a good supporting character.

Seamless switch! Iggy was pretty good at this and having a support player was great, she could sit and tank stuff even easier than alone. Gave a little bit of variety in her build as well, she wasn't as heavily dependent on life steal, she could get some more interesting skills in. "Awesome job! This'll be so easy with us both!" Nothing like a good tag team pair to completely ruin some poor bosses day.

God that move was hilarious, Leo just zipped around the screen wiping out all the little annoyances and they were soon just left with big bad and ugly. "Sweet work, lets focus down the boss and we might get some decent loot." These games were all about the loot and Illora good definitely do with a nice new sword or hammer to deal some even more impressive damage.

"Just one more hit and........oh yeah! Time to vent some rage." When you built your skill resource by getting hit or doing damage, you always had to spend a little time in combat before the really big guns came out. Rapidly tapping one the skill button, she hammered the boss with a giant spirit hammer over and over, slowing him with each hit so there was no way he could get away. "That's more like it."

Iggy dipped his tongue passed his full lips in concentration. A smile came across his face as he listened to Alice's exclaimations. Ilora was kicking some manger damage on that sorcerer boss. "Get 'em, Alice!" The partnership between Leo and Ilora was amazing. Leo was speedy and delt damage with quick strikes while Ilora did slow, heavy damage. He glanced over at Alice before looking forward and continued to deal damage to the boss.

"Here ya go, Alice!" The other teenager then activated the Mantra of Salvation power, giving both Ilora and Leo additional twenty percent resistance to the elements. This was perfect since the sorcerer boss kept throwing fireballs at them. As they continued to play, Iggy decided to add a bit of conversation with his gaming buddy.

"So, are you thinking about becoming an X-Men trainee?"

She was in total game mode, managing her rage and dodging whenever a particularly nasty spell came out. Thank god for monks though, the extra elemental defence made trading hits so much easier so her damage done was going through the room. Normal she had to play way more conservative with a more solo based build, so she did less damage. Now, with a second person around able to do quick damage to minions and take their agro which she'll focused down the big bullies meant they were flying through the game!

"Hmm, what?" Alice was only half aware of what Iggy had said, they were so close to killing the boss! Just a couple more strikes and........"F--- yeah, that's how it's done." Spell slinging bosses were always the worst, they moved around so much and just generally had nasty skills to deal with.

Now that they had a breather her brain register the question. "An X trainee? I dunno never really thought about it. I'm getting some training from one of them at the moment but I don't know if I'll ever join." The training was fun though, her and Maya's powers had a weird synergy for scouting.

Ignacio nodded his head slowly as he both listened to Alice and read the text on the screen that was explaining the next part of the mission. The one main thing about video gaming was that you could slip away from reality and just be a totally different person. The seventeen-year old's eyes didn't leave the screen, but his ears were trained on Alice.

"I've thought about it. I could put this sunshiney hotness to good use," Iggy paused and on what he was saying and instead focused on his thoughts, "then there's the thing where I want to become a model. I know that sounds vain, but when you have looks, you have looks." He shifted his eyes over to Alice, then back at the screen.

"What do you want to do in the future?"

"Well you've got the power for it, more than me to be honest. But a model?" That was new, she'd not met anyone who wanted to be one, but it made a certain amount of sense. He had the right kind of looks and that kind of sweet vanity that she guessed someone would need to succeed in that industry. "Yeah I can see it, you've got the ego for it already, might as well get the pedigree behind it."

Wait, maybe it would be worth getting him talking to Allegra, what with her already getting some links and ideas about the fashion world. Seemed a decent shot anyways. "You met a girl called Allegra yet? She's wanting to be a designer, seems like she might have ideas about how to get into it. I know one of her teachers helped her, maybe she could introduce the two of you?"

"Well, I'm wanting to study electrical engineering at NYU and with my grades, it seems I should be able to get it. Even got an internship at a decent sized Viewtube company at the moment so that'll help." She might even get a job offer out of it when she was old enough. Seriously that would rock.

"Awww!" Ignacio felt so honored that Alice agreed with him that he should be a model. That made him feel very, very special. And also boosted his ego, but just by a bit.

Ignacio smiled widely when she brought up Allegra. "Oh, yeah! I know her!" He admitted with a wide smile. "We've met a couple of times in the hall along with us playing volleyball together one time. Her dogs are really nice." Iggy smiled over at Alice before looking forward again at the television screen. "Huh, I really enjoy being your friend, Alice. You're so cool. I hope you and I hope you become an X-Men Trainee so that we can go on missions together."

Of course he'd met her and of course the girl was probably doing more than just being friends with him. Knowing her she was making googly eyes at him for being tall and decent looking. But the dogs, god they were a bit much. Well, all dogs were but still. "Of course your already getting know among the pretty girls, soon you'll be starting fights over which one wants to flirt with you." Straight girls and their liking men, no taste at all.

"Maybe, I'm still on the fence about the whole thing and even if we were both trainees, I have a feeling we'd both be under different teachers. Speaking of who did you get?" Maybe he had gotten trained by Maya, she seemed to be pretty good at handling teenagers. When she wasn't hitting them and giving them a nasty headache that was.

"But you seem pretty taken with the idea, you want to get beaten up that much?" Training wasn't fun and games, literally as she'd found out. More than a little pain and a decent amount of hunger, but maybe that was just her. "Oh hey you want any snacks? I've always got some stashed."

Ignacio smiled widely a ran his hand through his luscious black hair. "Oh, stop, Alice! You're too sweet!" Ignacio was a little vain in the fact that he loved when people swooned over him.

"Most likely," Ignacio sighed and shrugged his shoulders. "And I got Professor Shinbo. The Japanese and math teacher. He's really, really cool." Ignacio giggled a bit. He still couldn't believe that he was actually an X-Men Trainee. It was honestly out of this world!

His smile fell a bit at Alice's question. Ignacio knew that didn't mean anything by it, but it still hit him in a hard place. What Alice didn't know was that to try and make up for accidentally killing his parents Iggy would start fights with people so they could beat him up. The Latino mutant simply shook the painful thoughts from his head and turned his attention to his lap. "No, I'm fine."

Yeah, he was cool. Which was to say, she liked maths and he was a decent teacher so she got along with him fairly well. Being good at the subject also helped when it came to a decent relationship with teachers. Even when she skipped classes most liked her well enough thanks to that.

"He's pretty good at what he does, thanks to him I've managed to keep my grade pretty damn high. He's even been giving me so higher level stuff since classes are a bit easier over here." The mansion was good for teaching but, well the education system on a whole just wasn't amazing in the U.S. So far lessons were noticeably easier than back home.

Didn't sound fine. Sounded pretty bummed actually. "You sure Iggy? I know I'm not exactly an open book emotionally but I'm here if you need to talk." She hadn't ever been a go to with her few friends for serious emotional stuff and frankly she was bad enough at dealing with her own but he looked like he could do with a talk.

Ignacio nodded his head, "I agree! I have him for math, too. I think I'm in the class before yours." He wasn't too sure, but he did see whips of blue whenever he left the class.

He didn't mean to make their time together turn sour. He also didn't want pity from Alice. Though, she was his friend after all. "...Before I came to the Mansion I..." Iggy took in a deep breath and hugged his knees to his chest. "I accidentally killed my parents. Since then, I've been putting myself in intense situations so that I could get...beat up."

"Oh. Right." Hard to really respond to something like that. What should she say? Condolences, or maybe sympathy? Ugh this wasn't her area really. Dealing with bullies she could do, maybe even an a---y teacher but a heavy topic like that, not her area of expertise. "Well, shit there's not really any way I can come back with a sarcastic remark to that one so well done."

Yes, humour seemed a decent shout. "Look, I get that your not doing well and stuff. For good reasons but getting the stuffing kicked out of you isn't going to help anyone. Like seriously." She didn't know the details but she had a feeling Iggy's parent's wouldn't be happy he was acting self destructive.

"I think you might need to talk to someone, well qualified for this. Doesn't the school have a counselor or something?" Someone way more clued up about this kind of issue. "Just don't provoke or gang or anything stupid OK?"

Last thing she needed was the drama of a friend getting stabbed. Serena would freak.
