The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Ignacio turned his head to watch Professor Shinbo exit the Danger Room and enter into the nest. Huh, he wondered why he was up there? Maybe he could control the Danger Room scenarios better from up there.
>> "I'm going to be setting the scenario running now. Be prepared. If you need any help... the panic word is Bulbasaur."
Bulbasaur? Eh, that sounded like an appropriate panic word since it was out of place. Though, Charmander would've gone with the theme of what was about to take place. Iggy wasn't going to ask for a request to change it since that wasn't what the focus was going to be on. "¡Está bien!" Ignacio responded with a thumbs up. Now the fun was really about to begin.
Ignacio then turned his attention to the changing room around him. Out of the white was birthed Time Square on a busy morning equipped with innocent bystanders. Ignacio was extremely amazed how the white slate made almost anything come to life. The room even looked bigger than before! The seventeen-year-old moved out of the way of the hard-light constructed pedestrians to get a better look at what was happening to the metal-skinned mutant that was currently being messed with by the metabots. Was this the scenario that Professor Shinbo was talking about? His internal question was answered when his Sponser from over the the intercom told him that the appearance of the megabits was his cue.
With a head nod, Ignacio tried to first distract the metabots from the girl. Honestly, she was kicking ass on her own, but Iggy knew that he had to step in. "Hey! Leave her alone!" Ignacio shouted. He stretched his hands up to the sky as the bysntanders started to run away from the scene. Iggy felt like every cell was hotter and hotter until his Tollan form was fully activated. His skin was now black with his eyes a bright orange. Iggy's body was surrounded by multicolored light. He gave a quick look up at Shinbo before running in to save the girl from the bots.
In his Tollan form, Iggy was stronger, faster, and all around more powerful. It only took in about ten seconds to get from where he was standing to the metabots. With the first one he came in contact with, he threw a punch to it's head and a pushing kick to the torso of the other on that tried to sneak up on him from behind.
Iggy nodded his head as he listened to Martha explain what she wanted in the future. It was nice and very Martha. "That's pretty sure and straight forward," Ignacio responded, "what do you want to do for work?" Ignacio asked with a tilt of his head.
>> ”That’s cool...Make sure that you do lots of research before you get it done, alright?”
Iggy nodded his head and smiled at Juliette. It was nice that she cared about him getting a tattoo. "Of course! I did some research and read reviews on Browsedit." Iggy even had the design he wanted.
>> "”Is there anything else you want to talk about before I send you back to class?”
"Hm, I don't think so," Ignacio felt a lot better after having this talk with Juliette, "gracias Juliette, por ayudando me." Then he remembered that Juliette didn't understand or speak Spanish, "sorry, I said thank you, Juliette for helping me." He translated with a bright smile. The future X-Men Trainee stood there for a second before turning and walking out of her office and went back to class.
Iggy dipped his tongue passed his full lips in concentration. A smile came across his face as he listened to Alice's exclaimations. Ilora was kicking some manger damage on that sorcerer boss. "Get 'em, Alice!" The partnership between Leo and Ilora was amazing. Leo was speedy and delt damage with quick strikes while Ilora did slow, heavy damage. He glanced over at Alice before looking forward and continued to deal damage to the boss.
"Here ya go, Alice!" The other teenager then activated the Mantra of Salvation power, giving both Ilora and Leo additional twenty percent resistance to the elements. This was perfect since the sorcerer boss kept throwing fireballs at them. As they continued to play, Iggy decided to add a bit of conversation with his gaming buddy.
"So, are you thinking about becoming an X-Men trainee?"
Ignacio nodded his head, "yep! An acronym. Y'know, ah, each letter stands for something else," the teenager tried his best to explain. He hoped that helped with Chase's understanding, but he had a feeling that it didn't do much good.
He could also tell that Chase was getting frustrated with trying to understand the method behind the mathematics.
"What do you do?...You know-- your mutation! Whaddya do?"
That was a little out of left field, though Iggy was more than happy to answer his question, "Solar Absorbation. You?" He asked with a raised eyebrow.
>> "I'm not an idiot. Zeus is another god. The top god for that.. group of deities."
"The Olympians, Aiden!" Ignacio huffed and folded his arms over his chest and pouted more. Does Aiden live under a frosted rock or something? Then Iggy remembered that Aiden spent a year in Alakada, but still! He had to learn about them in school at some point. "...Humph, at least you know a little something." He mumbled underneath his breath.
"What? No, Kalos, there are different names for different things!" He wasn't lying to her. She had proof right in front of her cute coral face!
He took his phone from Kalos and scrolled through a couple of pictures before showing her a short video about how they grow square shaped watermelon. "See? This is real life! No lies here."
Ignacio scoffed and put his hand up to Aiden for him to stop talking. There was no explaining himself out of that one. "And I bet you don't know who Zeus is either, huh?" He teased as he let his hand drop to his side.
"Yes, Frosty grump face. That's your codename." And that was that. The teenager turned to look at the ground with what looked to be a pout on his face. "...I can make myself look like him." He mumbled underneath his breath, but loud enough for Aiden to hear.
"A camper? That sounds nice." Ignacio didn't really know what a camper was, but he was sure that it was cool. "Are those like the things that are like RVs?"
Ignacio's turned up to the top of the Danger Room as a "sun" appeared. Unlike Shinbo, Iggy was unbothered by the light and instead smiled. He allowed himself to soak in a bit of energy from it before his sponsor turned it off. He tried his best not to giggle at the blinded professor's attempt.
>> "Danger Room. Artificial sunlight from overhead lighting, activate."
That seemed to be better for Shinbo so that was good. Ignacio studied the beams before looking down at the other mutant. "That'll do just fine!" He exclaimed with a bright smile.
>> "What kind of training you get depends on what you want... do you want something that tests your power levels... or something that tests your skills?"
Ignacio had to think about this one. "Definitely the first one." He hadn't had the chance to test out what he was fully capable of.
That was one thing about America that irritated Ignacio. Very few people spoke another language other than English. Everywhere else around the world, that was the norm. You spoke two languages, but here? Only English. With a huff, Iggy nodded his head.
"Okay, you do not have to say here in the Mansion. They couldn't force her to stay anyway, she was a full grown adult woman.
>> "If it didn't involve the sun, you'd have to be a lot more subtle,"
Iggy was about to say something snarky to Aiden until a snow ball came hurling at him. "Hey!" The teenager then giggled and threw a baseball sized of multicolored light at Aiden.
>> "Apollo's a sun god?"
"Who's Apollo?! You don't know who Apollo is?!" Ignacio couldn't believe this! "He's one of the most famous Greek gods ever!" Iggy threw another ball of light at Aiden as punishment.
>> "I really don't know, Iggy. And I'm starting to think I won't recognize it even when you do get around to telling me."
With an eye roll, Ignacio decided to tell him, "since the hints aren't working, I will have to tell you," he cleared his throat and spoke, "It's Tontiuah, the Aztec god of the Sun and Tollan. Look it up when your frosty-grump face gets a chance."
>> ".... No habla....Sprechen ze English, por favor."
Ignacio shook his head, "Lo seinto, Martha. I usually speak in Spanish in the morning, then slowly slip into English as the day progresses." His Spanish accent was more pronounced in the morning, too.
>> "Anyways... I am sorry I was such an ass last night... Just... my head hurt, ok?"
>> "No need to apologize. I knew I shouldn't have tried to force you to stay," Iggy waved the apology away, "if anyone should be apologizing, it's me."
