Mutations Mutation description: Mineral manipulation,
The ability to summon and mold minerals, the ability appears to be creation from thin air, but in reality he can summon naturally occurring solid chemical substances from a 100ft radius from his body and manipulate it within a ten foot radius, the effect can be delayed or even half formed if there isn’t enough material in the 100ft radius to accommodate his will, but using one of the main components in concrete such as granite or limestone can be near instantaneous as there are mass supplies in new York city.
Strengths: To someone who doesn’t know his limitations the power can seem oppressive. The ability has major offensive and defensive potential. He can manipulate 200 lbs of matter at a time. He can manipulate up to 400lbs total in a day, so if he was using his max, twice a day. if operating in smaller doses, he could break it up into 400 one pound doses or even more in fractions of a pound.. If the mineral is readily available like granite from within concrete under his feet, creation is nearly instantaneous, if he was working with something more obscure about five minutes.
Zelek can create two kinds of objects, those that are passively in existence, meaning they will deteriorate as soon as they have left his 100 ft radius. And those he spends hours of effort and time sculpting and molding the creation into permanence.
Weaknesses: These abilities can only be used within a ten foot radius, and apply only to naturally occurring minerals. Manipulating 200lbs of any one mineral will cause 100% opacity in that mineral.
Secondary mutation: Mineral opacity
Zelek has what most would think of as x-ray vision where natural minerals are concerned. He would be able to see through brick walls or drywall, but not leather of a briefcase or fabric, or even the paint on the other side of drywall, so it might be useful against a stone wall around a property or looking through a statue. But there would be massive interference in most cases.
Strengths: Seeing through stone can be a great boon in some instances.
Weakness: In others it can mean only seeing through to the next layer blocking your way. As his primary power is used, the materials he manipulates become more opaque or less visible to him, so in situations where he has to use large quantities of a particular mineral it can be invisible to him for the following hour and slowly become visible after the initial hour. His vision is an aggressive ability and only used when actively concentrating on an object and usable within the 100ft radius. However, He cannot deactivate it when malfunctioning and obscuring minerals from his view and is subject to wait out the inconvenience.
~~TEMPORARY 6/1/12-8/31/12~~ mutation description: vampiric life, he can heal at a phenomenal rate. Most wounds are fine mere hours later. As well as healing injuries his healing factor also makes him immune to poisons and diseases. It is this healing factor that has prolonged his living death. The ability was gifted to him through a surgical breakthrough, back when Faust pharmaceuticals was called Mondragon labs, He died in a fight for his life against a ruthless killer Named Hunter Antonescu. Hunter through scientific means reproduced his own heart and had it surgically transplanted into the once dead heroic boy of Russian birth and transformed him into a terror In his own image. The vampire. His sire who he inherited the power from is over four centuries old and is still in his Physical prime. This ability is fueled by blood.
Strengths: Allows Zelek to heal from nearly any wound and live forever. Weaknesses: As well as needing to consume blood his healing factor does not work on wounds inflicted by wood.

History Of Your Character: Maxsim was brought into the world by a poor Russian couple, His parents did little to better their situation, scraping by on the generosity of others. When he was the age of six his father taught him to beg, and eventually to steal, at the age of nine he made enough money to keep his mother and sister fed and his father drunk, when he turned thirteen however everything changed. His mutation had developed and though the consequences often came with his ability, his family would want for nothing, He could summon gold and diamonds seemingly out of thin air. he grew older he grew bitterer about providing for ungrateful and unmotivated parents, they certainly never took care of him, much less, good care.
Eventually they decided to immigrate to the Americas, it was easy enough to have their citizenship bought. Maxsim was seventeen at this point and had had enough of his parents and slaving for them, he fled to NYC and then to the school for gifted youngsters where he met a beautiful woman who taught him to focus his abilities as to not violate a certain amount of privacy that a lady ought to have. He took on the name Karzelek and later shortened it to Zelek. A budding romance sprouted with a girl named Kitra. But before love had a chance to bloom he died…mostly.
In an attempt to save a kidnapped schoolmate he chased after a group of villains, Zephyr thwarted his attempt to save the girl, He battled the windmancer until he had the victory in hand or so he believed, a third fighter arrived and ripped his heart out, literally. Thus
he died. The same man that ripped his heart out replaced it with a clone of his own.
Thus he was reborn a monster, his memories were wiped away, a clean slate to build a murderous child in his own image was made and thus sire and son set out to teach him the ways of the vampire, Hunter taught him how to build fear in a human to bring out some of the flavors of adrenaline and other endorphins to flavor the blood, terror tasted good.
He spent the last few years as a 17 year old sociopath, He traveled Europe spreading fear and belief into old legends, but something has begun to change within him and so he has finally made the journey home to look for his father.
While scouring New York City, He didn't find his father but instead found a lost forgotten flame, Kitra. Leaving a wonton trail of wounded and deceased As he always did. Zelek found an odd sense of comfort in Kitra. Being the only one that has known him before and during the vampirism., but after finding their way to his Manhattan penthouse, has her love for him found a way to introduce him to what comes next?
Through the process of high adrenaline, production of endorphins, hormones and higher blood pressure, his body found the perfect storm, it was time to challenge the foreign organ within for dominance. His sire's heart worked against itself restoring his original heart to its current position. The transformation within had vast repercussions. No longer would he heal within moments nor would he have a vast aversion to wood. Soon his body would do him one better and find the years it had lost.
