The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

“That’s right, you’ll have to create your own weapon. Now, do you feel up to another round of weapon creation?” He asked with a smile. The sooner he got her stamina up the sooner the real training could begin.
“Alright then,” said Hunter, moving so he was opposite Kitra, “Ready? Dagger, Katana. Bo. Knife. Dagger. Scythe. Katana. Scythe. Knife. Bo. Dagger. Katana.” As before he left a five second gap for Kitra to form the weapon.
Again he watched closely for signs of fatigue, noting where she began to fatigue. Eventually he intended to work on her ability to for animate beings with her power, and build up the strength of each one. Also he would try to give her practise at fighting two opponents utilising a created ally and created weapon, but first he needed to build up her stamina.
Kitra smiled, she loved her daggers, they were the most familar besides her bo. A black hilted dagger appeared.
"Katana."
Her dagger disappeared and a purple hilted katana appeared, this was her second favorite weapon of metal.
"Bo."
As her katana faded away, a bo of bright blue replaced it.
"Knife."
The bright blue bo disappeared and a red hilted knife appeared.
"Dagger."
The red hilted knife disappered and small beads of sweat appeared on her face as a green hilted dagger also appeared in her hand.
"Scythe."
The dagger vanished and a dangerous scythe appeared as she frowned in concentration. The scythe was the most complicated one she was bringing into being.
"Katana."
The scythe disappeared and she sighed slightly, then a larger frown appeared as did a brown hilted katana.
"Scythe."
She blinked and breathed in, letting the katana fade and the scythe once more appeared. Kitra was getting woozy now.
"Knife."
The scythe popped out of existence and a knife appeared, beads of sweat now lined Kitra's face.
"Bo."
The knife disappeared and a bo of faded purple appeared as she staggered.
"Dagger."
She was breathing hard as the bo disappeared and with great effort a purple/blue hilted dagger appeared for a moment then disappeared.
"Katana.”
"Sorry Hunter. I lost it on the dagger." She sat where she was before her treacherous knees would give out.
“It’s alright,” said Hunter as he sat opposite Kitra, “You improved, getting more weapons made and making more before you start showing signs of fatigue. I think we’ll give it one more try before we call it a day.”
Hunter got up and brought over Kitra’s bottle of water as he sipped at his own. She had shown improvement and that was the key. However, he could see that this was strenuous stuff for her and didn’t want her to burn out. One more session would be enough for today.
Kitra again decided to just do and went into a trancelike state and listened for her instructions.
“Alright then. Bo"
A black bo appeared in Kitra's hands.
"Katana."
The bo disappeared and a red hilted katana appeared.
"Scythe."
Tha katana faded and a dangerous metallic pink and black flamed scythe appeared as Kitra smirked slightly, 'why not have some fun with this,' she thought.
"Bo."
The freakishly colored scythe disappeared and a vivid yellow bo appeared.
"Dagger."
The vivid yellow bo faded as Kitra made a dagger with red-flames appear.
"Knife."
The red flamed dagger disappeared as a dark blue hilted knife appeared and Kitra twirled it a bit, switching it back and forth between her hands.
"Katana."
The twirling knife disappeared in midair and a katana with a laced black hilt appeared as Kitra frowned. 'Enough with the fun for now,' she thought unhappily.
"Bo."
The katana disappeared as Kitra began to breathe more heavily as a dullish brown bo appeared.
"Scythe."
The bo faded away and with a frown and heavy breathing a simplistic scythe appeared.
"Knife."
The scythe vanished and Kitra wavered slightly as a hunting knife appeared.
"Dagger."
The hunting knife was gone and Kitra had gone slightly pale as a rough looking dagger appeared.
"Scythe."
The rough dagger disappeared as the simplistic scythe came into being once again. Kitra swayed slightly before righting herself.
"Katana."
The scythe vanished. Kitra began to sway with fatigue as a green hilted katana appeared. She wondered wearily how many more to go.
"Bo."
The katana faded and a blueish purple appeared. It seemed to be flickering Kitra thought. Perhaps.....
"Dagger.”
The bo flickered and vanished and a simple dagger appeared. Kitra had been swaying slightly from side to side as she realized Hunter had stopped.
Stepping forward slightly still swaying, "I got them ......" Kitra swayed a bit more then felt herself falling and her last thought was "Great exit Kitra, just grea...."
Hunter caught Kitra as she fell. He was impressed, despite the somewhat lack lustre finish. She had managed to create fifteen weapons in total, and six before she started showing signs of fatigue. If she tried it every day, just making one more weapons than the day before, she would steadily build her stamina.
Right now though she needed rest. Scooping her up in his arms he headed towards the infirmary. Arriving he lay her down on a bed to rest. He had pushed her hard and she seemed exhausted. A good night’s sleep would see her back to normal, and they could continue their training. Placing a blacket over her he picked up a map of the lab and began to write on it.
Kitra, I brought you here so you could get some rest after our session. You did a good job, I’m impressed. I want you to now run through the weapons making exercise everyday, each day making one more weapon than the day before. Once you can create a hundred weapons in a row without passing out you can stop increasing it and just make a hundred every day. If you do that it should improve your stamina with your powers, not only letting you create more things, but maintain them longer as well. But first things first, you’re probably hungry. On the back of this note is a map that will lead you to the canteen. Everything is prepaid for, so get a good breakfast. I’ll meet you there.
Kitra came to. She was slightly confused to where she was. She sat up and frowned as a piece of paper fluttered off her. She picked it up.....

Hunter
Kitra looked up then yawned. She turned it over and looked at the map. She pinpointed the infirmary, then looked for the Training rooms. She remebered that she had seen a shower there. As she wanted to look presentable....
Almost an hour later, Kitra stepped out of the Training room. She had a cream colored tank top on and black bike shorts with a knee length, dark green skirt on. She looked down at the map once more. She spotted the Canteen and started walking.
IC: Hunter strode into the training area. Turning to face Kitra he said with a smile, “Give me a moment to change, a four thousand dollar suit is not appropriate clothing for training.”
He went into the changing room and emerged five minutes later clad in the black tracksuit bottoms, white vest and back sports jacket that he trained in. his sword was buckled around his waist. Stepping into the centre of the room he turned to face Kitra.
“We will focus on sword training today,” he said as he removed the jacket and tossed it aside, “The easiest way for you to learn will be sparring with me. As we go I’ll offer tips and advice on how to improve.”
He drew his sword, the steel ringing in the air. “If you’re ready Kitra, summon a Katana and lets begin.” He would not go all out, but he wouldn’t make it easy for her, she would have to work hard.

Calley
Calley, meanwhile, was standing against a wall. It seemed like a good place. A Scary Sword-Wielding Boss Man was not something he wanted to get in the way of.
...Standing still. That was the ticket. Smile, smile, suppress stray feelings of unease, smile, and watch...
Kitra had come in behind Hunter and had swallowed at the four thousand dollar suit comment.
Hunter had drawn his sword. Kitra summoned a katana with its hilt being blue and green banded. She stepped to the center of the room, facing Hunter as she moved onto a defense position.
The moment the katana was in Kitra’s hand Hunter was moving. He darted forward and swung his sword in a wide horizontal slash aimed to catch Kitra in the rib cage. As they were using real weapons he would be careful not to hurt her. That didn’t mean she wouldn’t pick up the odd small cut though.
He was maintaining a human level of speed and strength, no point in just defeating her in seconds, she’d never learn that way. There was no need to apply any more, she’d be struggling to keep up even when he was at human levels.
Kitra had blinked then let out a small gasp. 'He's already starting! Oh crap!'
Kitra swung her katana downwards hoping to block Hunter's strike. She twisted slightly to the left and slashed for his stomach, knowing full well from what she had seen, that he would stop it.
