The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Allyssa was laying on her stomach on the pull out couch, legs lazily kicking the air as she looked over at Skye, her chin resting on her crossed arms. A smile on her face. Other than the very awkward time when Skye’s aunt and uncle had come home, who still hadn’t shown any indication of emerging, the night had been extremely pleasurable. Needless to say, Allyssa was quite pleased with the outcome of her flirting that night.
But then Skye was getting out of bed, so Allyssa rolled onto her side to watch her, head tilted as she wondered what the girl was doing. Especially since it didn’t appear she was getting dressed at all. That in itself made Allyssa grin; it was giving her a very nice view, after all.
A minute later, Skye was returning with two game controllers. Allyssa’s grin just widened as she sat up, taking the controller that was held out to her. ”Oh, you better believe it,” she said as she scooted over on the bed to sit beside Skye. ”And I don’t blame them for not wanting you out at this time. With how beautiful you are, you’d be bound to draw a lot of attention.”
Leaning over as the game loaded up, Allyssa leaned over to give Skye a quick kiss on the cheek. ”Do you pull out the games for all of your dates, or am I just special?”
She noticed the grin as she handed Allyssa a controller. A fellow gamer; this was proving to be quite the catch. She blushed at the beautiful comment. Her face was crimson, and had her....date?...not been an adapted, the room would have been bathed in a pink light. But alas, it wasn't.
"Honestly? I don't bring many people over here. For...obvious reasons," she jerked her head toward the bedroom door, "I normally end up going to the other person's place," she said with a shrug, insinuating that she did this quite often. And...well, she did, but that wasn't important.
She smiled at the kiss on the cheek as the game started up. It was a fantasy/steampunk shooter/RPG, and it was one of Skye's favorites. Selecting "New Game," she was taken to the character screen, where she was given a choice of a few base characters that could be customized later. She picked a woman with a top hat and a trench coat, hands coated in a purple energy.
"You ever play Outerlands 2 before?" she asked, wondering exactly what kind of games the other girl was into.
Blaine was still shuddering and shivering when she touched him, as her hands moved over his skin. Lee smiled at that. He made her shiver, made her shudder often enough, it really was only fair that she was able to make him react like that, too. Even if it was going to be only this one time.
And then when she kissed him, Lee felt Blaine’s arms wrap tightly around her, pulling her body right up close to his. Lee moaned against Blaine’s lips, her body melting against him as she wrapped her arms around his neck. As the kiss deepened, Lee’s body melted against Blaine’s even more, with another moan. She knew that they should be going slowly, but as her heart beat faster, her breath coming quicker, Lee wasn’t exactly sure how much longer she was going to continue moving this slowly.
This, he could get used to, but he knew he wouldn't have time. So he'd have to enjoy it while he could. And they were likely restricted to this one area next to the wall, but you take what you can get. He could feel everything, from the contact, to the moan on his lips, to the heart beating furiously in his chest as his face flushed red.
It was almost too much. Almost. As he deepened the kiss, enjoying the feel of his hand tangling in her hair along with everything else, he wasn't sure how long he'd be able to keep going slowly. He was trying, but his hands slowly slid to Lee's shirt, feeling the hem and pulling the shirt up over her head. This was much easier when you were able to feel. He'd just spent years re-learning mundane things so they'd seem just as natural.
Lee moaned louder against Blaine’s lips while they were kissing as she felt his hand in her hair, holding her head close to his, not letting her away from the kiss. Lee was fine with that, it was a damn good kiss and she was not in any rush for it to end.
But slowly, eventually, Lee felt Blaine’s hands moving down away from her hair. And lifting her shirt. She shivered, both from the feeling of his fingers slightly moving on her skin, and from the air suddenly hitting her back.
Finally, the kiss had to end so that Blaine could lift the shirt over her head, and Lee looked up at him with a happy, eager smile. Her breath was coming quick, shallow, and her heart was racing in her chest. Was Blaine feeling the same, she wondered.
As he dropped the shirt, Lee’s smile turned a little more mischievous, knowing, and rather than wrapping her arms around his waist like she normally would have, Lee placed her hands on Blaine’s waist, pulling him toward her even as she was stepping backward, moving toward the wall. Well, it had worked before...
He always enjoyed his time with Lee, but this time was so much more intense, and he knew it was because of the feelings. With each passing second....he didn't think he could go slow for very long. In fact, he couldn't see how other people did it like this all the time. He could barely maintain his self control as they kissed, and even after it broke.
Then, her arms wrapped around his waist as she stepped backwards. He bit his lip, realizing that there was a point at which....that kind of hurt. Okay, don't bite your lip. At least not too hard. He'd note that for later, even after this effect ended. Though....he realized if he did regain feeling for longer than just for this...he'd basically have to learn how to live all over again.
Once they reached the wall, he smiled back down at her, his own arms wrapping around her waist as he picked her up, noting that even with feeling she was still rather light. Then, once she was at eye level, he leaned in and kissed her hungrily.
Lee’s breathing was coming fast and heavy as she walked them back toward the wall. And then her back hit the wall, a moment later Blaine’s momentum pressing against her, pushing her into the wall.
Lee was looking up into Blaine’s eyes, so she wasn’t expecting to be lifted up as she felt Blaine’s arms wrapping around her waist. Lee gasped as she felt her feet leaving the floor, Blaine’s arms wrapped tight around her. Then her eyes were level with Blaine’s, something that never really happened because of the height difference between them, and Lee moved her arms up to wrap around his neck as her legs did the same to his waist. And for the moment that they just looked at each other like that, Lee’s heart felt like it had jumped into her throat; she could only think of one other time that Blaine had looked at her like this, and they most certainly had not been at home at the time.
Then Blaine was leaning in, kissing her. Lee’s eyes slipped closed, one hand moving to let her fingers slide into Blaine’s hair, the other hand clutching at his shoulder, her nails digging in to his skin slightly, as she moaned against his lips. Yes, she wanted to go slow for Blaine, but that was easier said than done, apparently. How the hell was she supposed to do that now?
He could feel her breath, his bare feet on the floor, the contact between them. His stomach was fluttering, but not in a bad way, and his heart was pounding furiously in his chest. This was so much different than every other time; so much different, in fact, that he was almost too overwhelmed by all of this.
He never lifted Lee a whole lot, because that wasn't generally something she liked. But the few times he did, it was rather easy. This time, it still was, but it was different when you were able to feel someone's weight; feel your muscles moving and tensing as they did their job. It was...interesting. He almost wondered what lifting weights would be like this way. Maybe he'd meet one of these Adapted people in the gym. That'd be cool.
But right now, things weren't cool. They were very, very hot as they kissed, and he felt the back of his hands against the wall.
As they kissed, Blaine’s arms holding her up, his body pressing her against the wall, Lee felt Blaine’s heart beating in his chest. Or was that just her heart beating that hard? Ok, Lee really wasn’t that sure, though she did know that her heart was pounding. Just like her breath was coming as smoothly or quickly as Lee would have liked.
Still, Lee’s arms tightened around Blaine’s neck as she deepened the kiss even more than it had already been. Now that things had gotten this far, this intense, Lee really didn’t want to slow down. Well, she did want Blaine to be able to feel everything.
Reluctantly, very reluctantly, Lee pulled away from the kiss after a minute, opening her eyes to look at Blaine. ”Just tell me if it gets to be too much…” she murmured, her lips still close enough to brush against Blaine’s.
Blaine closed his eyes, taking in the sensations. Where he normally never broke eye contact, and used all of his senses, this time was different. He focused only on touch, because he'd likely never get to do this again. Not this way, anyway. Then, she pulled away from the kiss, and he was slightly disappointed.
But then she spoke and he shook his head. "I will, but I doubt it," he murmured, before leaning in and kissing her again.
Lee was tired. That was something that generally wasn’t common for her after situations like this. Well, until she had managed to turn her siphoning off on Valentines Day, it had never occured that she’d been tired after sex.
But at some point, they had made their way to the floor, and Lee was currently laying next to Blaine, her head resting on his shoulder, her eyes closed, a happy smile on her face. Her breathing was still heavy and heart was still pounding, but her body was relaxed as she lay there.
Lee didn’t even realize that her hand was moving lightly across Blaine’s chest as she lay there, her fingers lightly tracing the contours of his muscles, before moving up to his shoulder.
Finally after a couple moments, Lee let out a happy sigh before speaking. "How was that?" she asked softly, her hand still absently moving across Blaine's chest and shoulder. "How are you feeling?"
Blaine was winded, his heart was still beating in his chest, and to be honest...he was slightly sore as he lay on the floor, looking up at the ceiling. He relaxed, shuddering more at the light touches.
"That was amazing," he breathed. It was better with the ability to feel, after all. "I'm feeling...well, sore. Stiff. Tired. That, I'd have to get used to," he added, looking over at her with a small smile. Though he did like his mutation, this little break from it was nice.
Lee's smile widened when she heard Blaine start speaking. It really had been amazing. As time had gone on, it often was amazing, but this had been different. Lifting her head off of Blaine’s shoulder, Lee smiled down at him as he continued.
”But it’s oh so worth it, isn’t it?” Lee said, smiling down at Blaine, her hand still idly tracing along his chest. Leaning down, Lee gave him a soft kiss. ”Is there anything we missed? Anything you still want to feel?”
He chuckled softly as he lay there with his eyes closed; to be honest, the floor was quite uncomfortable, but he really didn't mind right now. It was sure to be hell on his back, but since he wasn't going to have to worry about that for long, did it really matter?
"It was definitely worth it..." he breathed softly, his eyes opening to look over at her. He thought a moment at her question, rubbing his chin as he thought. "I think we're good, actually," he finally said, still not exactly moving to get up. He was just enjoying the moment.
Lee smiled even wider as she heard Blaine agree with her. She knew it was amazing. And, though she had wished a number of times that Blaine could feel her, even just once, Lee had never actually thought that it would.
But when he told her that he thought they were good, that he didn't think they had missed anything he wanted to feel, Lee nodded. Then she lifted her hand from Blaine's chest to run her fingers through his hair. ”I guess that means we're good to just continue how we were going?” Lee asked, a knowing, mischievous smile on her face. Smiling even wider, Lee’s hand closed in Blaine’s hair as she leaned to to kiss him again.
