Aside from scars, Kristoph does have several tattoos, including his father’s NYPD police badge on his left arm, a
wolf crest on his chest, and crucifx on his right forearm.
Other features: The beard of awesome. Kristoph has a full, red beard that he does maintain rather nicely. Others say it makes him look like some berserker or a Viking preparing for war. Kristoph, though, say he has it because it makes the ladies giggle; and to him there is no prettier sound.
Everyday clothing style: Kristoph prefers to dress casually in jeans, t-shirts, open flannel shirts, really anything that is comfortable. Sometimes he will be seen wearing the exactly seem jeans or shirt for a week in the row. It isn’t because he doesn’t do his laundry, though, he just prefers things to be comfortable and will explain that to any and all who question him.
Uniform: When out in the field, he will usually be sporting a black suit and trenchcoat, the standard wear for field agents.
Sleepwear: He always dresses comfortably for bed. These usually means shorts and a tanktop when it’s hot or flannel pajama bottoms (and no shirt) when he’s cold.
Miscellaneous clothing: A ring on his left pinky from his first wife. As badly as that marriage ended, it is a beautiful silver ring with a ruby in it. Thankfully she never asked for it back.
Character Personality: Kristoph is a rather interesting man. Tall, bulky, intimidating, most tend to avoid him if he turns his eyes upon them. Very reminiscent of a modern-day cave man, he wears his air of intimidation proudly as it tends to scare off the riff-raff. He usually will remain silent until spoken to as he isn’t one for witty banter back and forth with another (
at least not at first). All-in-all, he is the picture of an authority figure that absolutely no one wants to mess with. But there is more to this man than just a scary glower.
Deep down, Kristoph is a good man with a rather checkered past. He knows the cruelty that people can inflict upon one another, and he is well aware of the path that he almost took. Because of that he has a rather familiar insight into the criminal mind, both from his time as a cop and as a young criminal himself. He has a soft spot for neglected kids and does whatever he can to help them out of a tough situation, so long as it doesn’t go against the code he took up when he joined SUPER.
To those that actually make it into a friendly status with Kristoph, they’ll find themselves with a man who is a bit more than they expected. He really is quite the caring and sweet man, but it is difficult to see all that underneath his rough and tough exterior. But those that know him best, know that Kristoph is loyal to a fault and will do whatever he thinks is in the best interest of innocent people. However that has also led to him making some rather tough decisions.
Kristoph knows that SUPER doesn’t do things in the best possible manner, but he understands that given the war against mutants, they are the best chance to ensuring that humans are not wiped off the face the map. Aside from that, he does have some anger issues, especially when he is getting frustrated or egged on. This has led him to make snap decisions that could end up with him getting hurt or worse.
Hobbies/ Interests:- Sweaters: Kristoph actually has a collection of wool sweaters that are his absolute favorite things to wear when he is not on the job.
- Women: He is a bit of a charmer. Kristoph loves women and really can’t help himself when he is around them. He must flirt and give them a grin. He may not bed every woman he flirts with but his odds are still pretty good.
- Hunting & Fishing: Early on his grandfather showed him the art of fishing and hunting. He developed a knack for it and partakes whenever he has the chance.
Job or part time job and description: S.U.P.E.R. Agent
Fears/ phobias/ concerns: Kristoph fears what mutants can do. He understands that they are just living beings, but still, it terrifies him to know that a mutant can walk into a school and just go off like a nuclear explosion. It is that fear that drives him to want to protect people as much as he can.
He also fears being married again. In his long carrier, Kristoph has been married twice and both times it ended with a rather messy divorce. Usually the culprit was himself, either spending far too much time working or the fact that he doesn’t want kids. After what he saw his parents go through, and seeing that in many ways he embodies their worst traits when being in a relationship, he doesn’t want to put a kid of his through that.
Special talents: Surprisingly, despite his intimidating appearance (
and seemingly unruly beard), Kristoph is actually quite the charmer of ladies. He knows how to flatter, how to compliment, and sweet talk. Because of that, he has bounced from relationship to relationship, but he never sticks around for very long due to fears that are his own. Still, ladies, watch out when he gives you his knowing grin. You will be woo’d.
Morality Good/ bad/ neutral/ other: Neutral-Chaotic: Kristoph wants to do the right thing, however he knows that those lines need to be blurred sometimes. He doesn’t necessarily have a problem with mutants, but he does believe they need to be kept in check or humanity could be done for. He’ll do whatever is necessary to protect lives.
Mutations Mutation description:100% hooman
Strengths: Is hooman!
Weaknesses and Limitations: Is squishy hooman.
Physical Abilities General Physical Capabilities: Kristoph is a big man with a lot of power behind him. Trained for years to be a cop and a SUPER agent, he works hard to keep his body fit and strong. He is muscular and fit for his age, able to keep up with younger agents but there has been some wear and tear to his body these days. Occasionally he’ll wake up with a few cracking vertebrae, but nothing that will allow him to stop doing his job (
much to the chagrin of his doctors). At the end of the day, he is there to protect and nothing more.
Fighting Style: Kristoph is trained in Krav Maga, Judo, and Grappling. He uses his large size and bulk to disarm and incapacitate his enemies without killing them (
unless he has to.)
Fighting Style Pros/Cons:- PRO: Well-trained thanks to years as an authority figure, he does know how to adapt to certain situations within his ability to do so.
- PRO: Downright scary. Kristoph is a behemoth and when he comes charging at someone, best be sure they are going to get hurt.
- CON: Someone just physically stronger will be able to take him as his style doesn’t revolve around a lot of dodging and weaving.
- CON: Someone faster and more trained can easily dispatch him.
History Of Your CharacterIntimidation and busting heads. In all honesty, it seemed that was what Kristoph was made for. The son of a police officer (Norwegian) and a playwright (French), Kristoph grew up in a home that was primarily run upon egos. His father was the breadwinner, the man with whom the world was supposed to revolve around, however, said universe tended to clash with that of his mother’s, a woman who believed herself to be one of the greatest artists of the century. Of course when such large egos collide, there is bound to be noise aplenty, but none of it geared towards Kristoph himself. As a matter of fact, the boy went largely unnoticed, thus forcing him to seek out his own means of attention.
In school, Kristoph soon took to bullying others. Lunch money, to do his homework, eventually just for the sake of being sent to the principal’s office. Any attention was attention that Kristoph wanted and, thus, started him towards a rather rough road. A reputation for fighting and maliciousness followed the young man from grade school into high school. It was believed that if anyone was going to graduate with “Most Likely to be a Criminal” medal, it would be Kristoph. But just as he was about to drop out of high school, the worst of all things happened, his father was killed in the line of duty.
Few know what had happened. For as much of a jerk as if father was, he was still his family and he didn’t want to see him dead. There were rumblings about a sting operation gone bad or something of the sort, but at the end of the day, it didn’t matter. All that mattered was that his father was gone and his mother was a broken woman. It was a sobering feeling, to say the least, and probably the only thing that finally steered Kristoph away from the terrible life he was destined to lead.
As the years passed, Kristoph grew to learn what responsibility truly was. He took care of his mother, he got a job, he went to school at night. Eventually Kristoph got the idea in his head that he wanted to be a police officer like his father. His mother, of course, rejected the idea as the last thing she wanted was to lose another of her family into that life. But his mind was made up. Having earned the grades he needed and possessed the physicality, Kristoph enrolled and it would change his life forever.
Kristoph was a good cop. A bit rough around the edges and quick to lose his temper, but he always managed to control himself before taking things too far. Firmly enmeshed in the life, most believed that he was following his father’s footsteps, even surpassing them. While his dad was a jerk to the family, he was actually a fairly good cop and Kristoph was doing amazing things with the career; enough so that it would earn him attention from a source he hardly expected.
The case that would make his career concerned several mutants who were running an underground dog fighting rings. The ringleader, a man with the ability to seriously steroid up his dogs for the entertainment of the crowd, was wanted in connection with several homicide investigations. It was Kristoph’s sleuthing skills that eventually brought him and the rest of his team to the mutant’s front door. He did not go quietly but, in the end, the ringleader was brought down and the world was made a safer place for it. It was this case that eventually brought several agents from a previously unknown organization known as S.U.P.E.R.
Kristoph has no problem with mutants, but he does believe strongly that they need to be watched carefully. Given the amount of power he’s seen them wield as an officer, he knows that mutants losing control of their abilities is something that can cause far too much collateral damage. SUPER made a strong case for him – how else could he refuse to offer his help? With an ailing mother and a city on the brink, Kristoph agreed to become an agent as clearly some people need to be saved from themselves.
Kristoph has been an agent for several years now. He has seen the dark underbelly that SUPER possesses and, while he doesn’t agree with all of it’s methods, he is not a man to go against his command. He will do whatever is necessary for the greater good, even if it means some people need to die so that others can live.

that is a mistake. However, for unbelievable as it sounded, it was actually very true. Said mutant, some psychopath ice elemental calling himself the Walker of White busted into a festival and started to turn it into his personal winter wonderland. People were terrified, screaming out into the streets as they were buffeted by snow flurries left and right. Before their eyes, people watched in horror as towering mounds of snow built upon themselves until they were close to creating spires that stabbed the sky.
But, for as beautiful as they were, they couldn’t be allowed to stand. This mutant couldn’t be allowed to continue terrifying the good people of this city.
Watching from the treeline, a towering man with red hair made his way through. In his hands, he held his gun at the ready, peering around tree and moving with the ease and grace of an experienced hunter. He was not on the level of say, someone like the Stalker, but he was skilled enough to hold his own when doing his job. Right now, this was certainly his job.
Gun at the ready, Agent Karlson glared through the darkness, moving on closer with two other agents who flanked his sides. As they pressed on, his eyes were locked squarely on the wintery scene that was swiftly taking over the normal summer foliage. The mutant had been going crazed for the last bit, sending people flying off with a burst of icy wind. There were already reports that people were suffer from frostbite and, for it to happen to quickly, just showed how dangerous she was.
Breaking the tree line, the trio of agents all stopped as they looked over the scene in surprise. All around them they could see nothing but snow and ice. It was truly a strange sight for the middle of summer. As they began to advance, there was sudden a burst of cold air. Kristoph turned and watched in surprise as one of the trio, a fellow human, shouted and was suddenly holding his hands up defense – and then stayed that way, frozen.
Another burst came towards Kristoph but, thinking on his feet, he immediately ran and hide himself behind his fellow agent. The wind gusted again, however, both agents remained said. Kristoph unfurled himself as he grumbled and looked down at the shorter companion.
“You need to increase that adapted field,” he grumbled in his gravely voice.
The agent sighed and shook his head. “Would if I could.”
”WHO ARE YOU!?” A voice shouted.
Stepping out from behind the agent, Kristoph raised his gun, pointing it at the woman in the long wedding dress of icy blue. Huh, so they were at a wedding. Apparently the bride had lost control of her abilities and became some ego-maniac calling herself the Walker of White. Trying to stick close to the four foot nullifying field that his fellow agent sported, Kristoph shook his head.
“You need to stop,” he growled.
“You are hurting innocent people. We are authorized to use force.” A hiss and a growl from the mad woman, Kristoph watched and clouds of cold mist rolled over the scene. The woman retreated, dragging her dress with herself as she vanished into the mist. All around he could hear the sounds of bending trees and various other things being broken. They were terrifying sounds of snow and ice, a wasteland that promised to be devoid of all life. As the wind picked up, Kristoph stayed close to his fellow agent and tightened his jaw. This was going to be a long, cold night.
