The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

The new residents of the shack were given little time to adjust their new homes, evidentially the upper management were intending to give the inmates, ahem “registered mutants”, a hastily concocted guided tour of the rather limited facility and the next destination on the list appeared to be the mess hall.
Leaning against one of the shacks main support beams Zephyr focused on keeping his shoulders hunched and his back slightly bowed as he silently observed the mutants shuffled exit from the laughable excuse of building. At one point one of the women attempted to stop and speak with him for some reason but before she could fully manage to make her intentions known she was quickly bullied back into the slowly moving mass by one of the more obnoxious guards and the merc was left without a chance to respond.
When they at last finished exiting the building and were once more standing in the open air of the desolate camp grounds the captive mutants were forced into single file before they were allowed to continue on their miserable way towards the center of the camp where the mess hall was located. Silently taking up a position behind the last girl in the line the elemental diligently followed the group to their new destination. ‘Well this is rather dull’ he thought mundanely, ‘Could it be that I won’t actually be needed until the grand finale?’ Certainly on first glance it seemed as though escape and rebellion were the last things on these mutants minds, aside from constantly bellowed instructions of the camp supervisors the merc had yet to hear a human voice raised a mutant and vice versa.
However not five minutes after Simon had posed his mental supposition and had settled himself inconspicuously in the background of the mess hall he was introduced to a set variables which immediately set about doing everything they could to disprove his vague hypothesis. The first unpredicted event was the collapse and subsequent mass bleeding of one of a woman fitted with a shock collar whom had looked quite pale for some time. The guards, ever true to their stereotypical nature, demonstrated both their lack of compassion and intelligence by ordering the unfortunate girl to drag herself back to the barracks to clean up. Upon hearing the order Zephyr had exhaled wearily and shook his head from side to side in disdain, while this action was not really in keeping with his current role he was fairly confident that everyone’s attention had been focused upon the pathetic individual sprawled on the floor to take any notice of him.
After the injured girl had been removed from the scene by one of her own companions and led gently to the infirmary the elemental was introduced to a new group of females who had just been delivered to the camps, and judging by some of his “associates” complaints, these girls were anything but agreeable. Letting his emerald orbs rove over the new shipment idly Simon’s attention was suddenly caught by flash of crimson and his eyes refocused on a faintly familiar redhead and his interest was momentarily perked as he tried to recall a more solid image from the depths of his memory. It took almost a full five minutes before his consciousness finally rewarded him with a image of the statue of liberty at which point his entire memory of a certain trivial skirmish with a pair of scarlet haired twins came rushing back. ‘Well, well this certainly is nostalgic,’ he thought dryly as he observed the lone girl engage in some type of verbal battle with one of her peers, ‘hmm, I wonder where her copy went…’
The dull echo of a particular heavy set of footsteps abruptly came to the merc’s attention as he suddenly became aware that one of his more burly comrades was approaching his destination. Forcing himself to give no indicator that he had detected the mans presence Zephyr continued to stare straight ahead at the gradually developing cat fight, which truth be told was mildly amusing.
“Hey you, newbie,"[/color]
Swiftly contracting and then relaxing his muscles the elemental visibly jumped in apparent surprise as he turned towards the larger man with an oblivious expression and a questioning look in his eyes. “Uh, yes?” he ventured uncertainly craning his neck upwards slightly to look the man in the eye.
“I gotta head outside for a smoke, watch the bitch over there.” the guard jerked a thumb over his shoulder to one of the female prisoners who was slowly clearing the mess floor. After a closer inspection Simon realized it was the same women who had tried to speak with him back in the barracks. ‘Coincidence or something else?’ he mused thoughtfully as he gave the women an evaluating gaze, there wasn’t much differentiate the various mutants by in the camps, they had after all been stripped of their clothes and all personal belongings, yet for some reason this women had been allowed to keep some strange type of darkened goggles with shadowed the upper half of her face and his her eyes from view. Aside from that particular accessory the only other thing the merc could really note was the shade of her skin and the color of her hair. Like most of the others here her appearance was totally unremarkable. ‘How many people are on Hunters payroll’ he contemplated silently as the other guard wandered off, apparently taking the elementals silence for assent.
Zephyr knew it wouldn’t be beyond the immortals power to bribe every single guard in the camp, however the merc also knew that this would have been largely impractical since most of the guards were rather unsavory characters and there was no way to guarantee that they wouldn’t “blow the whistle” so to speak. There was also the additional fact that he had not been informed of having a possible contact within the camp and considering his position with the Kabal that was information Hunter would have given him. No, the idea of another infiltrator within the camps was improbable at the moment and bared no further thought, however the situation did presented him with a favourable opportunity to establish some type of relations with the mutants within the camps.
Strolling at a somewhat slower than normal pace Simon made his way over to the women who had been delegated with cleaning duty and took a position against a wall nearest the goggled girl, keeping his eyes carefully lowered so as to keep up the pretense of his timid nature the merc spoke softly so that hopefully only the woman would hear.
Amp wrinkled her nose as Deathstar got right in her face.
"Ever hear of breathmints?" she snipped.
"All I hear is words ladies, better come up with something better than runnin off at the mouth."
"Excuse me? Talk about the pot callin' the kettle black!" She looked at Isabel in disbelief. "Did she forget who started this conversation? But now she can't keep up and she says we're runnin' off??" Amp stared in genuine amazement as the girl continued to speak as if she were the Camp Queen. Surely she wasn't that ignorant.....
"Don't ever think about threatening me or else what I have in store for you would make this camp look like heaven. YOU are the reason why this camp exists, YOU are the reason I'm in this mess, and YOU are the reason why I'm a better person today, looking at you I realize how muchyou remind me of an ass I made of myself in the past "
Okay, so much for that theory.....
Deathstar managed a feat after all, because Amp was simply staring at her in amazement, which allowed Isabel to retort without interruption. She could NOT believe the girl had actually uttered those words! How dare she blame them for her capture! Just being NEAR this.... this.... Urrggh!! She couldn't even think of a decent insult, she was so mad!!
Her fists clenched and she looked down at the table from something, anything to throw. She glanced up and caught Isabel's eye for a brief moment.
Then Isabel brought her fist up in a punch aimed at Deathstar. The hand on her shoulder tightened. In a flash Amp kicked out at the guard's knee. His pained howl split the air, and Amp used the distraction to launch her own attack; while Isabel went for Deathstar's face, she went for her stomach. Without any of their powers working, the chances of her avoiding all three hits were slim.
Neena waited until She-Thing moved away before pausing for a moment. She was fast developing a headache from constant in and out of the sunlight. Wiping her wet hands on her thigh, she gingerly pulled the plastic sunglasses from her pocket and put them on. There were a bit loose, so she used some of her hair and tied them in, to keep them from slipping off. She'd probably have to cut them out later, but she'd deal with that... well, later....
The floor of the Mess Hall was make of wood, like in a kid's summer camp. Unfortunately that meant that quite a bit of the blood puddle had soaked into the floor. There was going to be a permanent stain. She sure hoped no one else in the place was squeamish.
Idly she listened to the escalating argument from the side. A brief glance revealed Deathstar in the center of it, along with three others she'd never seen, and possibly Emerald, Ruby and Nika. She hoped Ruby and Nika weren't becoming a part of it. Emerald seemed calm enough, but Neena wasn't holding her breath that she'd stay that way.
She took a subtle look around; most of the guards were focused on the verbal war, most of them smirking, including She-Thing. Neena frowned. They were enjoying it and, she had no doubt, eager to add to it if things escalated to violence.
“Is your friend alright?”
Neena turned to find the source of the soft voice, and was somewhat curious to see the guard from back in the barracks. The question, however, made her frown. "She's alive and breathing," she hadn't meant to, but Neena emphasized the word 'she'. "But I don't think she's going to be 'alright' for a long time...." Her voice was sad.
Suddenly the verbal war in the corner erupted into physical violence. Neena's eyes darted to the scene, then back to She-Thing. The woman in charge of the Hall was making her way quickly to break up the fight, her hand on the remote for the bracelets. A subtle smirk planted itself on Neena's face, and she turned back to her task. Then, as the woman approached, Neena scooted backwards. Her foot hit the bucket with enough force to tip it over, spilling bloody and soapy water all over the floor and directly into She-Thing's path. The woman was in enough of a rush that she slipped on the water and tumbled down with an indignant shout. The remote slipped out of her hand, landing in the middle of the flood. Neena began humming softly, and continued scrubbing, just like she was supposed to be doing....
Deathstar watched Amp as she talked not really caring what she said, she just wanted to get her point across. In the mist of this heated argument boney girl threw a fierce Punch, Deathstar being a skilled fighter manage to dodge the first blow but didn't expect the second blow. The punch struck Deathstar's jaw twisting her head as blood spewled out her mouth, staggering a bit Amp took her shot at Deathstar's stomach knocking her off her feet. Deathstar rolled on her back in pain, she shook her head in disbelief and jump back up to her feet. "You b#tches are in for it now!" she says as her face and mouth cringed, she spit blood from her mouth toward Isabel face while picking up a chair sending it hurling toward Amp. Male guards grabs Deathstar, but she desperately fights her way threw them trying to finish off what the order girls started.
Sara continued playing with that plastic spoon, hmmmm.. .. .. Seemed she’d only imagined shoving that mouth full of food in DeathStar’s mouth. Pity.
The fight broke out and guards started swarming in, trying to contain the cat fight. Sara scooted her chair out from the table slightly, repositioning herself so that she was between the action and Ruby. Yeah, yeah. Kids. Always a weak point for her.
The first set of guards from that side of the room, charged by just as Sara flicked her tail to the side. She caught someone’s ankle and they fell, blocking the path for the rest. They tipped over each other like dominoes then still scrambled forward. Cursing at the one in front for having tripped on his own feet. That should buy the girls a few more seconds of fun. Somewhere on the other side of the room she heard a lady guard shrieking and hollering obscenities about having been tripped as well.
As the chaos continued in the back ground Sara began speaking to Emerald and her sister. “About what you two were talking about earlier, before this broke out.” She glanced around. “I’m sure you will have extra eyes watching out for her here.”
She gave the smaller of the two sisters another small smile before turning her attention back to the cat fight in the room. “So who’s Helix?” She wanted a distraction from what was going on now. What might happen here. Thinking about what they would do when they got out was the only thing she could think of.

Even though the van had dropped off the prisoners a little earlier than Millie's entrance, she was not visible. No, this does not mean that she had turned invisible, no, instead, she had found a little hole underneath one of the housing locations and had ran under there, holding Merlin tight while keeping her hands away from the contraption that made her unmutant. Her eyes were watering and she couldn't help herself from crying. Slowly, she peeked out and saw a pair of boots standing in front of her. He knew about the hole and he was investigating, however, not very dedicatedly.
"Hey, who's that?" He asked, leaning down. Millie's heartbeat quickened and she felt her powers begin to stir in fear as her fingertips attempted to glow. However, this was stopped as the contraption did it's job and zapped her. Millie, absolutely terrified now, squealed in pain, giving the man just enough time to reach in there and pull out the crying child. "What are you doing under there?" He bellowed, seemed Millie's young appearance did not soften his heart.
With more fear, he dropped her on the ground where she lay twitching violently. No mercy was given from her bracelet and the more times it shocked her, the more times she would become scared and hence the more she attempted to use her powers which started the whole cycle over again. "MAMA EMMY!" She screamed as loud as she could before burrying her face back into Merlin's fur. "MAMA EMMY! PLEAT! IT HURT! IT HURT! I CARED! MAMA EMMY!" The guard had gotten help from another one and they held her mouth closed with some cloth. "Try covering her eyes, she's scared." One of the guards said, so they covered her eyes as well and thrust her into her biggest fear, the dark. Her twitching continued yet she was slowly taken hostage by her other two personalities as they attempted to calm her.
Within seconds of the shock attack, she had pulled herself into her own mind and she fear and shocking stopped while she lay unconcious. The guards figured that they had helped out by keeping her in the dark, but were now confused as to why she was not responding. She appeared dead as all light was gone from her usually bright skin and her eyes appeared gray. Inside of her mind, she found herself embraced in a three-way hug by Nightmare and Gris. She continued to cry into their shoulders, breathing deeply while Gris stroked her hair and Nightmare whispered comforting words to the girl. No matter what her personalities have troubled her with, they had been created to help her, so they were doing exactly what little Millie needed, nowshe only needed somebody outside of her mind to comfort her and she would have less of those fear attacks.

((If I seem like I'm godmodding I'm sorry I just want to move the plot forward a bit on the womens side. Technically this counts as Narration but if anyone wants me to change anything Pm me and I will consider it.
Oh and I'm sorry for any of the language you will read in my post but Emmy is kinda pissed right now. Deathstar feel free to reply when they come back to the barracks I just wanted Emerald to get that out in the open, I'm really sorry for the god modding I just figured the guards would want to move the mutant women out before they killed one another. I just need to keep the plot moving and I figured this is the easiest way to do it.)))
Upon seeing the blood from Deathstar and the angry words coming from both sides, Ruby shrunk down in her seat, scrunching up her body.
"Helix is my pet ferret." Ruby replied softly to the cat woman before whimpering a bit upon hearing Deathstar yell.
Emerald saw this and a growl escaped her lips. She was okay with Deathstar yelling but when this started to scare her little sister she snapped. No one ever made Ruby's sensitive ears hurt, no one ever made Ruby feel scared when she was around, no one.
When Deathstar escaped from the guards grip Emerald leap up from her seat and slammed the girl into the wall, pinning her there. The wolf girl's dark blue eyes were filled with burning hot anger and her teeth where bared in a snarl
"Listen shut your big ass mouth alright? Quit playing the smart assed bitch of our group because you know what I am getting so fucking sick of your shit! We are stuck here whether you like it our not, right now I could care less if the people sitting across from us were convicted serial killers! They are stuck here because they are different, just like you and just like me. I am so fucking sick of you thinking that you are the queen of Sheba all because you are some blond haired bimbo with breasts and the fact that you look more normal. Either way you are still a mutant just like the rest of us and right now I don't even consider you an X Woman because unlike you I treat my enemies like my equals especially in situations where we are nothing but dirt on these fleshbags shoes! If this is what you think a X woman is all about? Bullying people who are different then you? You are no better than the humans you piece of carrion I rather go make friends with the people who nearly killed me than even be in the same room as you, " Emerald snarled at Deathstar, grip loosening. "Stay the hell out of my way."
Emerald released the young woman and sat down next to Ruby who looked up at her eyes wide.
The guards where stunned for a moment before She-thing snapped out of her daze, glaring at her fellow guards. "What are you gawking at? Lets move these violent muties out of here and back to their barracks."
The guards on both sides of the wall took this as an order and began ushering the mutants out of the cafeteria and back to their barracks. Upon reaching the barrack Emerald walked over toward Amp and Isabel. Upon reaching them she smiled,
Isabel grinned wickedly as she felt her fist connect with the girl's jaw and saw the spray of crimson droplets land on the table and floor. She rubbed her hand for a moment as the Mansion girl rolled on the floor, trying to dull down the ache in her knuckles. She still hated it that she couldn't reinforce any of her blows with a layer of bone beneath her skin, or a row of spikes sticking out of her knuckles. And she still wasn't used tot he more concentrated feeling of pain that came along with any hits she received while unable to better protect herself. But, all in all she was pleased with the result of this little fight so far. She had drawn first blood, and without her mutation, just as she'd said, though she wished she'd gotten a chance to shatter the girl's nose. She also wished these camp guards didn't move so fast to apprehend those involved in the fight, since she still wanted to lay a few more good punches on the young blond woman. She ducked off to the side as Deathstar spat at her, the bloody spittle missing her face and just barely dirtying her shoulder instead. She brushed it off while scrunching her nose in a displeased expression, leaving a pale red smear on her grey outfit.
And then she was yanked off to the side with a bit more force than was necessary, a large hand clamped around her upper arm as one of the guards tried to restrain her. Isabel glared up at the man before elbowing him hard in the stomach, causing him to double over as the air rushed out of his lungs. Quickly taking the opportunity, she yanked her arm out of his slackened grasp and put some distance between himself and her, looking over at the Mansion girl as she also tried to keep the guards off of her. Man, where were they all coming from? No sooner had she taken three or four steps away from the gasping man, another hand grabbed her by the wrist and yanked her backward. She of course retaliated by striking out at him, shoving the heel of her palm upward into his nose and then swiping at the back of his knees with her leg, knocking him onto the floor, her arm once again pulled free. She wasn't paying any attention to Deathstar any longer, her attention now focused on not being held down for too long and keeping herself out of the grasp of the guards. She seemed to be able to keep herself out of the guard's grasps, not letting any hold her for any length of time if she could help it. The only problem was that they just came coming back, and it was so much harder keeping herself out of the way when there weren't many others for them to turn their attentions on.
Unfortunately she couldn't keep it up for long until one guard grabbed her between her neck and shoulder and pressed down painfully on the muscle there, making her freeze long enough to get her hands restrained behind her back and ushered back toward the barracks like everyone else. She gave a small smile in the lupine's direction, rubbing her sore muscle as she was released. "You and me both, Em. Nothing like a little brawl to make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Especially when you're fighting against an idiot. The odds are so much more in your favor then and it's oh so entertaining."
I’m just a well-adjusted gal who likes to leave a serious amount of mayhem in her wake.
As Deathstar was slammed into the wall by yet a third attacker, Deathstar grinned as Emerald got into her face looking deep into Emeralds eyes with no trace of fear upon face. "Emerald!, Its so like you to take a cheap shot at me, is that all your good for, I see your getting better at being a guard dog for those sanctuary scums, I guess you do have an intelligence of a canine, being a loyal to your master, in my eyes, YOU are my enemy Emerald, this hell hole really brings out the truth of people I guess, from this moment on, there will never be a Deathstar and Emerald team, so take heed to my words b#tch, you are dead to me....you hear me.... DEAD!!!" she said as she was forcefully dragged off by the guards back to the barracks.

For the second time within an hour Amp found herself in, and enjoying, a brawl. Although after the first couple of slashes, she found herself fighting the guards again as they separated the three fighters. She could hear nothing, but there was a constant thrum of vibrations from those around her; it wasn't like her sister's, but it did help fill the void inside a bit, and she reveled in it. So much was she into the rush that she almost didn't feel the slight shock from her bracelet. It was more of an irritant than painful, like something crawling across her arms.
Abruptly she found herself lifted off the ground and forcibly restrained. She struggled and squirmed as hard as possibly, but the guard that held her was stronger, and his iron grip kept her arms pinned.
She was taken to the barracks, and dumped there with the other combatants. An animal-like growl left her throat as she wiped away and spat out blood from her mouth; whether it was hers or not she didn't know or care. She looked around for Deathstar. She hated the girl with a passion, but if she could be goaded into more such brawls, and the resultant 'thrum', then maybe being around the loud-mouthed blonde could prove useful.
She looked up as Emerald approached. "Well, I feel better."
Amp grinned slightly. Actually, so did she. Unfortunately the feeling didn't last for her.
Amp had just picked herself up off the floor when another battalion of guards stormed in, led by the jerk from check-in. He smirked at her, then snapped his fingers.
"Drop her in Isolation. Let's see if she survives for a day." The guards moved forward and hauled the redhead off her feet again, and outside. The burly Check-in officer stared darkly at the other combatants. "Warning one, freaks. You don't get a second. Either shape up and behave, or I will break you." He spoke with a confidence of someone who felt he could handle anything thrown at him. Considering he held a remote to activate the shock-collars at will, he probably could. For now.
With a final threatening glare, he left them behind.
-------------------
Outside, Amp made the trip to Isolation as miserable for the guards as possible, which included sinking her teeth into two arms and a wrist, drawing blood all three times. By the time she was thrust into the tiny 6x6x6 foot cell, the entire troupe was cursing her existence, and her eye was bruising from a fist in the face.
The door slammed shut, and a bolt clicked. She spent nearly and hour cursing and screaming at the top of her lungs, until her throat hurt, and beating at the walls in fury. Finally exhausted, she sunk into a corner and curled into a small ball. Her body shook as she sobbed, until exhaustion finally pulled her into the quiet blackness of sleep. Every now and then her body would twitch reflexively, as if she were still fighting in her nightmares.

While Millie remained in her mind, Gris had been slowly taking over Night Light's body and the little girl opened her eyes. No color change. She didn't appear pale as Gris usually appeared while using Millie's body, no, she knew better than to use her powers. Grabbing on to to ground, she pulled herself up off of the ground, ignoring the tears and dirt staining her face and clothes. Her blonde hair was pulled back in pony tails, but it was falling out and a large mess.
The two guards stared at her bewildered before coming to. "Alright, girlie, get to your barrack." They said sternly. Gris closed her eyes tightly and shook her head as she now had complete control over the body. No acknowledgement was made towards the two guards, so one of them grabbed her arm and shook her, which resulted in a blood-curling squeal for all of two seconds. The man shoved his face right in front of Gris's nose and she opened her eyes, wrinkled her nose and then held her hand up to her nose. "Pee-yew, mitter, your breathe tinkt." With that, she hummed a song and began to skip off, leaving the two guards to follow her in confusion and curiousity.
Where was she supposed to sleep? Millie couldn't read, not yet, but Gris could, however, in order to cause little confusion with her personalities, she had to act like Millie. "Excute me, mitter." She abrubtly turned and tugged on one of the guard's sleeves. "What it a bearrit?"
The guard looked confused. "A Barrit? Oh! A barrack? No questions, just get in this one." He pushed her over to a barrack where the little girl walked into, pouting from being touched. The barrack she had been shoved into had Emerald in it, but since Gris was never close with Emmy and neither was Nightmare, she paid no attention to the wolf girl before she moved over to the corner and began picking at a scab she had gotten a few days ago from falling on the concrete.
After a few minutes, Millie had realized that Nightmare was the only one hugging her, so she looked around all confused before calling out for Gris. The body's mouth opened and she spoke. "Gris?" Now, of course, since Millie is the original body, she can kick out the other personalities whenever she wanted to, and she wanted to. Her eyes opened as Millie's for a second before seeing Mama Emmy, then she completely kicked out Gris and threw her arms open before calling out for her Mama Emmy and running towards her with her arms outstretched. Without even thinking, she pounced on the wolf girl, still crying from her last encounter. A small glow began and she was shocked for it, which made her cry.

Emerald caught Millie's scent before she ran to her. The wolf girl had knealed down in that time and caught her as she pounced. The wolf girl scooped the child up in her arms and held her close. Emerald stroked her silky hair, murmuring soothingly to Millie for a moment.
"Don't Worry Millie, Mama Emmy won't let anything bad happen to you. Don't be scared, the shocks will stop if you arent scared." Emerald stated in a calmming tone.
She looked over at Isabel and looked at her with a look that said 'make fun of me and die.'
Emerald stood next to the bone girl with a sigh. "They are even taking Six year olds now. I hate humans all of em' ...except for Dad,Grandma Pearl, Cousin Artemis and the guy that gives me free Shave Ice."
Ruby walked into the room, sitting on her bunk. She was scared right now and no ammount of consoling from her sister was gonna help. The fox girl stared at her little feet, watching as the guards looked at them with ethier disgust or Lust. It distrubing to her, she had been exposed to this vaguly during the labs. But the labs did not prepare her for such mass humilation like this.
Ruby noticed her tail was dirty so she began to clean it like she normally did, she smoothed down her fur and scrubbed some of the grime stains out with her hand. She was trying to keep herself occupied, so she would be far away from this place safe inside her mind.
((Anyone feel free to interupt Ruby with a guard or something. I just did this post on this account to set the overall mood of people.))
"Look, I... I may not be an explorer, or an adventurer, or a treasure-seeker, or a gunfighter, Mr. O'Connell, but I am proud of what I am."
Sara leaned back in her chair as the chaos in the cafeteria came to a crashing halt. Literally crashing as Emerald had slammed and pinned DeathStar. The snot, bloody well, deserved it. Trying to act casual she kept her eyes moving, taking in the scene further.
"Helix is my pet ferret."
She turned her eye contact back to Ruby. “That’s a good name, and I bet he’ll be happy when you return home.” Return. AKA when your out of here, kid. For a second, Sara fiddled with the dog tags issued to her, mistaking it for her locket. Oh yeah. They took that from her.
"What are you gawking at? Lets move these violent muties out of here and back to their barracks." Sara sighed, seeing the nearest guard, indignantly, pointing to her plate of food. She’d hardly touched it other then playing with the spoon. She’d normally leave it out but no doubt they’d find some way to punish someone, even if it wasn’t her, with it. So obeying she scooped up the tray, and followed Ruby. Dumping her meal in the first trash can she passed. Exactly where that crap belonged.
The barracks were new to Sara. Seemed most of the ladies had already discovered where they would sleep. She passed bunk after bunk, discovering they had been assigned. Sure, nice and organized. Weren’t these humans. Mean while she passed Ruby, the Isabel and Emerald, who was now holding another child. God, how many children had they taken? Quietly Sara passed by. Her fist tightening around the fabric of her grey dress. Knotting the fabric. Traveling only a few steps farther she found her bunk. (If anyone still needs a bunk to share, and wants Sara, or what ever, feel free to write it in.) With a swift smooth movement she flopped herself down on the top bed, stretching her spine till she heard a soft pop. Oh so much better. Her gaze traveled sideways and she noticed one guard taking a particular interest in Ruby. Well it was as better as she could get it.
(If I go too far, Emerald, Tell me.)
“Aw, Aint this one a little sweet heart.” One guard sneered as he strolled down the center of the ailes. Clearly feeling completely in control by the way he walked. ‘The master if his domain.’ Heavy boots slapping the paved floor with every one of his sharp steps and his chin held ridiculously high, putting more emphasis then what was necessary into his broad shoulders. The ID tag at his shoulder read ‘James’. Funny. He didn’t look like James.
He must of just started his shift because anyone who had witnessed the scene in the cafeteria would have growl half a brain cell. More than enough to know not to mess with Ruby. Instead he displayed exactly how many brain cells he was lacking. “You remind me of the one that followed me home once.” He said admiring Ruby’s tail for a second then letting his eyes travel up to her face. His greasy face twisted into a wider grin, his tongue ran across his lips that pulled back, showing off his nicotine stained teeth. “You know if that thing bothers you that much, I got some hedge trimmers out back. One cut and it’s all gone. You know, snip, snip.” Suddenly a paw like hand shot out whipping that ‘shit-eating-grin’ off of James’s face.
Sara didn’t remember getting out of her bunk. She just remembered his words. She watched James stumble back, spine smacking into the bunk behind him.”Or we could play snip, snip with something else.” She suggested.
Someone in the background hit a remote button and Sara’s cuff activated, giving her heavy shock. Making her jaw clench as she endured the building force.

Millie squealed with delight when she was embraced by her Mama Emmy. Immediately, she stopped being scared and was just happy and calmed. Now the only thing that might get her shocked would be glowing with happiness, which she knew the consequences to now, even though she thought that Merlin was the powerful one, she did not want him to feel like he had to protect her from sadness or too much happiness. So she attempted to think sad thoughts in order to keep his power from going off in happiness.
"Tad tuff. Tad tuff. Cabbage. Beant. Mud. Mom." The last thought made her a bit too sad, so she attempted to blank it out by saying happy stuff. "Cookiet, muffint, Merlin the Wonder Te-MERLIN THE WONDER TEDDY!" She screamed and wiggled her way free of Emeral before running around in circles while pressing her hands to her ears and closing her eyes tight. "Where it he? I mitt him! I WANT HIM!" She shouted, now throwing a fit. Her eyes whelled up and she had to try really hard to keep from crying, which would have resulted in glowing, not like she knew it though. In a fury, she threw her arms up in the arm and ran towards the door. Luckily, she couldn't reach the door handle, so she wasn't able to escape.
Not like it was going to stop her. Her arms flew up and began flailing on the door. "MERLIN THE WONDER TEDDY? WHERE'D YOU GO? APPLET PEACHET PUMPKIN PIE WHOEVERT NOT READY PLEAT TAY I! READY OR NOT HERE I COME! COME OUT AND PLAY!" She yelled, her face was turning purple. Millie was a sweet girl, but if there was one thing she couldn't be without, it was Merlin.
Isabel took a half step back when a little blurred shape rushed past them, heading toward Emerald and jumping up at the lupine. Isabel blinked slowly, her expression blank for a moment before her mind finally registered that the little squealing thing was a young child. She shook her head slightly and gave a sigh at the sight of the small girl. It should be a crime to lock up someone so young in such a horrible place. Stupid humans. If they thought Isabel was a nuisance to the police force before, they were in for a big surprise when she got out of this Hellhole. And maybe not just the police. Perhaps she'd go terrorize Central park for awhile, as it seemed to be what most mutants did, and it got them noticed. She didn't care so much about getting wide-spread public recognition. More of just a personal vendetta.
Those thoughts didn't last so very long, however, when Isabel caught sight of the warning glance emerald shot in her direction, almost immediately getting an amused grin from the once-ribboned mutant. Oh, it was just too easy. "Aw, how cute," she remarked, smiling innocently at the girl with the wolf ears and the little one clinging to her for dear life. "I suppose even the big bad wolf has a soft spot somewhere deep down, eh, Mama Emmy?" she remarked again, her hands folded behind her back, one wrist grasped lightly in the opposite hand, her body rocking slightly as she swayed back and froth from the heel to the ball of her feet, all the while smiling pleasantly, the perfect picture of well-intended goodness. People really should pay more attention to that 'don't judge a book by its cover' saying.
Still playing the good girl act, Isabel made her way off to the side, putting herself out of striking range of Emerald and circling the inside of the bunker, inspecting the little bunks that had been set up for them all. In her inspections, she discovered that certain bunks belonged to certain mutants, her eyes reading over at least a dozen unfamiliar names before they fell on her own. It simply read 'Isabel', as she'd not given her last name at the Registrations. She wondered who it was that her sleeping arrangements were to be paired with. But, just as she was going to begin searching for the other female's name, a high pitched yell broke her concentration. Quickly she made her was back toward the group of young women that had all been ordered into the bunker, her expression contorted into confusion as her gaze searched out the source of the commotion. "What the heck is wrong with her? What's she screaming about?" she questioned the wolf-eared girl, looking at Millie with a puzzled expression as she called to someone named Merlin the Wonder Teddy. Must have been a stuffed toy that had been left behind during Registrations. "Em, you've got to get her to calm down. She's turning colors! She's just gonna hurt herself is she keeps flailing around!" Isabel had decided to take more of a back seat on this one. She could have attempted to restrain the girl, but she didn't think it would have turned out for the better, since to the child she was a stranger. Better to have Em do it, since she was the 'Mama.'
I’m just a well-adjusted gal who likes to leave a serious amount of mayhem in her wake.
