The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Before Nika could continue trying to reassure Emerald they were ordered to get in lines and walk to the mess hall. No one was allowed to talk as they moved out of the barracks and accross the yard to the mess hall. Once inside they were informed that serving the food would be one of their jobs. It didn't look like any fun at all.
Nika grabbed a tray and proceeded through the line for their food. What ever it was looked like crap but colored differently. At least it didn't smell like raw sewage and thankfully she got a piece of bread.
Turning to find a place to sit she noticed some new mutants had been brought in. One of them had a guard standing near her. Maybe she was a trouble-maker. Either that or the guard really liked her. Nika thought about going to try to talk to the redhead but thought better of it due to the guard. Instead she sat with her other mansion members.
Isabel was up as soon as the truck had jerked to a stop, similar how she'd been when they'd arrived at the Registrations. She didn't like the idea of just sitting there and waiting for people to grab at her and drag her around. She'd much rather be on her feet as it was just that much easier to move around. Much like the other two, she didn't move to leave the truck when told, instead doing exactly the opposite and moving toward the farthest wall in the vehicle, glaring angrily at the fools who'd actually expected that they cooperate. These people had to be dumber than they looked if they thought that the people they'd forced into this place would play nice and listen to whatever orders were barked at them. And as much as she hated their transportation, she was sure she'd hate he camps and the people there even more. She would have tried to assist Amp or Sara if she'd gotten the chance, but before she could move to do anything she felt a hand clamp down on her upper arm and another closing on her opposite wrist, just above the bracelet. These idiots moved fast, she'd give them that much.
A rough yank sent her stumbling along after the two men holding her, headed toward the door of the truck, practically being dragged along as she leaned back and dug her heels into the ground, pulling backward nearly just as much as they were pulling forward. If only it hadn't been for the damn bracelet she'd not have let a single one hold onto her for so long. She gave them a bit more difficulty as they hopped off the back of the truck and onto the ground before her, giving her the slight advantage of height. Isabel crouched down in the doorway and kept on digging her heels in and pulling away. Little good it did. One of the taller men simply reached up and grabbed a bunch of clothing fabric up by her neck and yanked, sending her tumbling right out of the truck and onto the ground, after which she scrambled quickly to get back to her feet. "Now, now, little girl. You play nice, or we may have to scold you," one of the guards remarked with a wicked grin. Isabel replied by straightening her posture with as much dignity as she could muster under the circumstances, looking at the man like he was something disgusting that had been scraped off the bottom of someone's shoe, and spitting at his feet.
Next thing she knew she was doubled over as far as she could go against the restraining grasp of two of the guards, her eyes wide and her mouth hanging open as she tried to regain her ability to breath. That bastard had just sunk his fist into her stomach. And it hurt like hell. Isabel wasn't used to being hit like that without some sort of armored protection beneath her skin, and as such she was struggling to regain her composure under the shock of the strike. With a low hissing breath she slowly straightened back up, glaring daggers at anyone that was caught in her line of vision. "Now are you going to behave yourself, girlie?" the same man asked, his calm and collected tone driving her insane. She just wanted to punch his smug looking face. And silly as she was, she actually tried it, her arm nearly slipping out of one man's grasp as she pulled forward and tried to have her knuckles meet his nose. And of course she was stopped yet again, a nice little shock coursing through her body as her bone armor tried to construct itself before the guard's hand hit her cheek hard, her face turning off to the side with the force of it. Isabel gave a little groan at the painful sensation that still seemed odd to her. With a dismissive little wave, the spat at guard shooed her and her two escorts off to wherever she was to be taken, her feet nearly raised up off of the ground as she was lifted up, preventing her from dragging her feet and better resisting any harsh handling.
Once she was set down again and her arms were released, a plain little white box was shoved at her and she was ordered to put any and all personal items into it. She just looked at the thing in her hands for a moment, as if trying to figure out what to do with it before she got a whap on the back of her aching head, a sign for her to hurry up and do as she was told. Biting her tongue as a self reminder to behave, she dropped in the simple pair of earrings that she'd put in that morning as well as the two hair bands that had been keeping her pigtails in place. Handing the box back it was replaced by a lump of gray material that almost resembled a similarity of a dress. She held it up to examine it briefly, trying to identify what kind of outfit it was supposed to be. A harsh shove from behind and an order to swap clothing was given as she was herded over to the area where she was to change. Her mouth nearly dropped at the sight of where she was headed, being made to change in front of others. She managed to overcome the slight blush that was threatening to darken her cheeks. Determined not to let this sort of thing get to her, she simply turned her back to any spot in the area that held the most guards and quickly changed her outfit. As soon as her outfit had been swapped, her old clothes were gathered up and taken somewhere else, her eyes following the woman that carried them until she was ushered out of the area again.
Pulling lightly at the short hem of the poor excuse for a gray dress, Isabel followed the others to the mess hall. She didn't like her new outfit. It felt much too short. And while she was used to shorter skirts, she usually had a pair of pants or something to wear beneath them. She'd never even thought to ask for such a thing from the women that had stood guard. Slowly she made her way over to a table, finding a seat as close to Amp and Sara as she could find. She hadn't even bothered to gather a tray. She wasn't hungry, and by the looks of the food, she didn't think she would have been able to stomach it anyways. And so she sat quietly with her chin resting in the palm of one hand, her mind wandering on various thoughts as she waited for whatever was next.
I’m just a well-adjusted gal who likes to leave a serious amount of mayhem in her wake.
After sitting at the table, both girls attempted to eat the food that was given. Even with her black hole for a stomach, Emerald still couldnt stomach this grey matter of food.
Emerald was able to eat the stale bread however, it was one thing she was able to stomach. She then looked over at Ruby who was looking forlonly at the food.
"Emmy...we were supposed to have Robot Pancakes with Mom and Daddy." Ruby whimpered, looking up at her older sister, tears welling in her eyes. "Tommrow we were gonna go back home and visit. Daddy was gonna make Robot Pancakes for us and Sapphire was gonna be there!"
Emerald looked at her younger sibling, taking her hand in hers gently. "Ruby...we will get out of here soon and we will Make all the robotpancakes you want okay? Lets just last for a while here, remember, nothing is worst than that bastard Fusionist."
Ruby nodded, ears twitching a bit when she saw Emerald turn her head. She watched as her elder sister made contact with Micahel, giving him a thumbs up signs with one of her signature grins.
A small hope welled up in Ruby's heart when she did that, thinking that now she had nothing to worry about. She munched on her bread before watching the newest girls come in. She had also noticed Miss Neena come back in from the infermary and thought of asking her what happened when no one was around.
Emerald galnced over at the girls that walked in and recognized two of the scents almsot immediatly.
Crazy ass bone chick? One Half of the twins? ......A cat person? Damn how many half animals are in this damn city? Emerald thought.
Ruby recognized the Red haired twin.
"Miss Amp? Is that you...how did they catch you?" Ruby asked quitely, looking across the table at the girl.
"I was gonna ask bone chick the same thing....you better have taken out some humans or something before you were captured or I will be dissapointed in you. You can stab the hell out of me but you are unable to take out a few Humans." Emerald stated to the bone user with a coy smile.
((okay everyone lets just say we can talk to one another for a bit before we are moved back.))
Deathstar looked around the table for anyone familiar, Not too far on her left she recognized Emerald and her little Sister ruby. "I guess dogs eat anything" She say underneath her breath not intended for the two to hear, steady looking around she took a quick glance over to the mens side catching the glimpse of Michael. Deathstar nodded to him and focus her attention on a new woman she recognized from a past mission, Deathstar gave the bone woman a stare down as she sat at the table. "How the hell you end up here, oh! I'm sorry you deserve it" Deathstar said as she rose from her seat sitting near Enerald and Ruby. "I hope you don't mind my company, you are man best friend right" she says to Emerald as she slowly sits across from her, "I notice your little friend from the sanctuary is here, I hope your not getting flashbacks are you?" Deathstar laughs harder and harder as she take shots at Emerald.
Amp kept still, but her eyes followed as Sara and Isabel sat at the same table, apparently lacking appetite as well. Amp didn't blame them; everything in this place seemed to be grey and lifeless, even the food.
Except for that ugly red puddle on the floor that black woman was cleaning up....
She pulled her gaze away and instead looked around the room. She recognized a few faces from the Mansion. There was a girl with white cat ears as well as a few other obvious mutations. But the redhead she was looking for wasn't there. That gave her a bit of relief.
"Miss Amp? Is that you...how did they catch you?" Amp didn't see the full question since her attention was wandering, but she did notice Ruby sitting near.
"Hey Half-pint. Can't say I'm glad to see you, considering the circumstances." She experience a twinge of jealously that Ruby's sister sat nearby. Now that she was watching, she paid closer attention to what people were saying.
"I was gonna ask bone chick the same thing....you better have taken out some humans or something before you were captured or I will be dissapointed in you. You can stab the hell out of me but you are unable to take out a few Humans."
Amp snorted. "Humans weren't the problem," she muttered, glaring at the guard beside her. He seemed content to let them talk for the moment; his orders were only to make sure she didn't eat, not talk.
"How the hell you end up here, oh! I'm sorry you deserve it. I hope you don't mind my company, you are man best friend right. I notice your little friend from the sanctuary is here, I hope your not getting flashbacks are you?"
Amp sneered at the blond. She remembered Syn's sister, but not her name. Even though she was talking to Isabel, Amp couldn't help but snap at the blond.
"Well I suppose it is toture, having to stuck with the like of of you. The almight Xdweebs, knocked off their thrones by the very humans they want to be equal to." She spat out the insult and got to her feet, leaning over the table. "Well if this is equal, then you can keep your equality to yourself!"
The guard placed a hand on her shoulder to keep things from getting physical. Which, depending on how Deathstar replied, could very easily happen.
Isabel lazily roller her gaze over to whoever it was that was addressing her, not really in the mood for casual conversation. Her head pivoted in her palm and one eyebrow rose slowly as she recognized the young woman that had spoken. It was that wolf girl that she'd fought over at KP. It really shouldn't have surprised her to see the lupine there since they'd all been informed of the Mansion raid, but still, to have sat so close to the girl without even noticing threw her off a bit. She have a half-hearted little grin at the girls words. "Unfortunately the humans appear to be learning. They had these big robots after us. The damn things lifted me right off the ground and tossed me into a truck. But, I'm willing to bet at least half of the NYPD's officers that tried to grab me are now missing the majority of their palms, one's got a broken jaw and another a nice chunk of flesh missing from right around where his ribs are," she reported, figuring that now was not the time to be making a bigger enemy out of the girl than their history already provided. It was the humans that Isabel wanted to turn into swiss cheese, not the other mutants.
The next girl that approached, however, Isabel probably would have made an exceptions for. Figures she was also one that had been involved in the KP scuffle. She gave the girl a sort of puzzled look over her words. She could understand the shots aimed in her direction, but an X-man attacking one of their own had her confused. "Excuse me?" she replied, her chin lifting up out of her hand as she regarded the girl. "None of us deserve this kind of treatment. So sure, I've killed a handful of people, but that's just how it it for most of us. Kill or be killed. Look around, Blondie. Doesn't it surprise you even one little bit that the people you're looking to protect and live harmoniously with are the ones that have thrown you in here? Sounds a little screwed up to me," she said, glaring daggers at the girl. At the mention of man's best friend, even if it wasn't directed at her, Isabel gave a little huff. "Well, if she's man's best friend, and you are, as far as I can tell, a woman, then I'm guessing all attempts at hospitality have gone out the window? Listen, Blondie. Do us all a favor and keep your PMSing to yourself, because no one here wants to put up with your shit. So go find a nice little corner to brood in and have a nice day."
I’m just a well-adjusted gal who likes to leave a serious amount of mayhem in her wake.
Sara’s eyes moved off of her plate as she smelled Isabel coming. She had been absent mindedly stirring her food. Could you even call this stuff food? You didn’t even get any proper eating utensils. At least non had been handed to Sara. Only a plastic spoon. No little flimsy half inch plastic knife, no little fork that would no doubt break in her food. Not even a freaky little spork. Guess no one had read the article entitled ‘Top 10 Ways to Kill a ;Man with a Spoon.’
She sat back in her seat, her tail tucked around one of the back legs, and stirred through some of the grey mashed crap on her plate. She knew she should eat, especially with the higher metabolism but she couldn’t find the stomach for anything right now. Even when it growled angrily back at her when she shoved her tray away, farther down the table.
She sat there quietly as a couple more individuals strolled over. Instantly feeling things heat up in the atmosphere of the room. It was obvious everyone seemed to have met before. Lucky her, being the only one to make first introductions. Greeeeeeet.
She settled for leaning on the table and giving the youngest mutant she saw here a small smile. Nothing big. Just the softening of her eyes and the corners of her mouth curved up slightly. “Someone so young and innocent shouldn’t have to experience this.” The words were said to herself but she didn’t care if anyone else heard. It was the reason why she chosen her current fight and the words spilling from the other’s mouths only justified Sara’s choice further.
It seemed as though Emerald knew some of the new arrivals. She even started talking to the redhaired girl and got a reply back. Deathstar was being very up front with the girl Emerald was talking to. She received some back talk and was soon backed up by yet another of the new arrivals. Not wanting things to get too carried away Nika decided to cut into the conversation.
"Hi, my name is Nika."
She smiled and held her hand out to the new girls. Hopefully they would accept the break in and change the subject.
While waiting to see if either would take her greeting Nika caught sight of another cat girl. This cat girl had more feline features than Nika. It was interesting to see how much mutations can vary.
A faint voice took over Deathstar's ears as it appears the sanctuary girls were giving her feedback, Deathstar chuckled as the twin girl took shots at her. "I'm sorry ass and vixen, oops! I mean amp.... and um whatever your sister name is, Watch what you say, because this time Kaz can't to save you", she then focused her attention on the other woman.
Deathstar slowly rose out of her seat walking toward the bone woman with a stern look upon her face, "Look you pathetic excuse for a mutant, first of all my name is Deathstar, say it with me D-e-a-t-h-s-t-a-r, go it!, I figure you order b#tches are very ignorant so I had to spell it out for ya" just as she was about to continue her rant Nika barged in the conversation. "Hi, my name is Nika."Deathstar grabs Nika's hand instantly, "Don't! interrupt this meeting Nika this is between me and this scum" Deathstar released a smirk across her face toward bone woman, "Is there anything else you want to get off mind?, if not shut it" Deathstar says with a serious look on her face.
Emerald breathed in and out slowly as Deathstar began taunting her, knowing that now was not the best time to fight. She wouldn't give in to this girl's baiting of her wolven instincts. She listened in as both Amp and Isabel told the girl off but after a while she decided what to say in response once they where done.
She turned to deathstar, a calm look upon her features. "Listen, I don't like you and you don't like me. I kicked your ass once and don't think I'm afraid to do it again. But this is hardly the time and place to be doing this." Emerald stated, turning back over to the table.
It was strange to see Emerald not snapping at someone automatically, but she figured that if she did that now, there would be worse consequences, there was a time and place for everything.
"So...as soon as I get out of here I am gonna go get a milkshake, how about the rest of you?" Emerald asked, attempting to lighten the mood.
Ruby's little ears perked up as she looked around the cafeteria, hearing some conversation between guards. When it was finished the tiny fox girl shuddered and huddled up against her older sister trembling. Emerald noticed this and wrapped her arm around Ruby.
"Emmy.....they want to give us jobs." Ruby told her older sibling. "Like at different parts of the camps. But they are talking about other jobs they want to make some of the mutants just thiers....they said bad things about what they want to do to us."
"Ruby, it's okay I will keep you safe I promise," Emerald reassured, "I'm sure the other women will to." Emerald glanced over at the others with a look that said 'If anything happens watch her.'
"But thats not all Emmy, there are mutant guards now. Ones that are helping the humans and one has red fangs." Ruby whimpered.
Emerald crushed the bread in her hand, eyes widening.
Bloodfang? Here thats Impossible, he can't be here. He still should be injured or recovering or something. He just can't be here! I need to keep my guard up more than ever now. Emerald thought
"Ruby we will just have to be more careful okay?" Emerald reassured, trying to keep the fear out of her voice.
"But what if Bloodfang trys to hurt you again? Neither of us has our powers, we will be sitting ducks." Ruby replied
Emerald smiled a bit, almost like a feral beast who had just found their dinner. "I have fought Bloodfang without powers before, I'm sure I can do it again."
Ruby nodded, she then looked at the others. "I'm gonna have Robot Pancakes when I get out of here! Then I am gonna get Helix from his sitter and give him some of his new toys." She exclaimed gleefully.
Emerald smiled a bit, hoping Ruby was wrong about Bloodfang but at the moment she was just trying to put some hope out on the table.
Isabel listened to the blond woman insulting others some more, exaggeratedly rolling her brown eyes and giving a sigh. How petty, to be picking fights for no reason other than a little scuffle that was now in the past. "Hey, Blondie," she called, raising one eyebrow again at the young woman, "Bad idea to threaten any of my friends. We don't need anyone protecting us from the likes of you, but if you keep issuing threats to my companions I for one won't hesitate to step in and rip you apart." Her glare by now had dissipated and there wasn't a single hint of anger or malice in her voice. She had decided that she just wasn't up for getting all hot under the collar. She was tired and everything was aching. And so she remained calm, her tone very casual and nonthreatening, though she meant every single word that she uttered.
She continued to watch the young woman in her careless, detached manner as she approached, and though Isabel didn't like having the disadvantage of hight, she kept herself rooted where she was. "Yeah, yeah. Whatever you say, Blondie," she replied, deliberately continuing to use her little nickname. If this woman was going to keep mouthing off like that, Isabel would continue to treat her as an imbecile. She gave a short huff reminiscent of a laugh at the word ignorant and then again at the mention of her being pathetic. "Oh, I have plenty to say. And I don't have those thick blond roots choking my brain, as you must have. Let's see now, you say we're ignorant. I beg to differ. At least the Order knows who our own enemies are and who is safer to trust. Ignorant. I think it's you who's the ignorant one. You think we're so dumb for fighting against humans and trying to earn ourselves the right to exist in this world and to have a proper place in it. And yet you and the X-men run around in tight leather pants trying to make nice with these hairless monkeys, your minds set that with a few kind words, they'll open up their arms and just accept you into society without question. Now think again, if you're blond little head is able to wrap itself around any of these concepts, and tell me who the ignorant ones are now."
Hearing a new voice enter into the conversation, Isabel turned to find the feline-eared owner, giving the young woman a small smile. "Hello, Nika," she greeted, deliberately ignoring Deathstar for a moment. "My name's Isabel. Nice to meet you, though I'm sorry Blondie has made this out to be an unpleasant conversation to enter." And then she turned her gaze over to the little girl with ears much like the older lupine's. Perhaps they were related? "Don't worry, kiddo. We'll look after you. We've all got to look out for each other in this place. And as for me, after I get out of this place, I'm getting myself some real food and relaxing in my nice comfortable bed. Then I know a bunch of windows at the NYPD that have my name written all over them." Letting her smile fade back into her previously blank expression, she turned back to Deathstar and picked up right where she left off. "Scum? Oh please. At least we don't run around trying to be like the humans. Now they are scum. Locking all of us up like animals and treating us like dirt. Only the scummiest of humankind would do such a thing. And, the way I see it, since you all try to lower yourselves to their level and integrate into their society by making friends, you are nothing but scum as well. Guilt by association, Blondie."
Amp rolled her eyes at Deathstar. "Oh please, like we needed him to step in for us. If anything he saved you from losing your hearing permanently. If you'd like, though, I can gladly make it up to ya by removing your tongue." She turned to Isabel, seeing she was talking, and paused to let her finish.
When Deathstar turned to Isabel, and spelled out her name, Amp turned to her fellow Order member. "Deathstar? Pfft! What, was your dad's name Darth Vader?"
She turned slightly when Nika introduced herself, and tried to ease the tension. Her initial reaction was irritation the the girl had interrupted, but when Deathstar shot her mouth off again, she immediately switched tactics.
"Aww, just ignore the mouth-with-no-brains Nika. After all, it's taking all of her concentration just to try and insult us. They're sorry enough as it is, she doesn't need any distractions." She sneered at Deathstar. She again saw that Isabel was talking, and stopped, but her attention remained forward, waiting for her to reply.
Because she wasn't looking, she didn't see what Emerald or Ruby was saying, and missed the part about mutant guards. Her attention was focused on the blond in front of her. Amp was angry at the world at the moment, and she was more than happy to take it out on Deathstar, given the chance. Also, by that time Amp's voice had risen. Around the room, numerous guards were watching, as well as other camp occupants.
Sara was getting enough of this DeathStar’s attitude. Oh and she had the audacity to not only mock the dog girl but also be rude to another cat mutant. She bit her lower lip listening to more, then more then more. Mean while spinning that plastic spoon between her fingers.
"Is there anything else you want to get off mind?, if not shut it"
As the last sentence was spoken Sara had been playing with her food again. The feline, speedy, slight of hand was so useful. She went to shove a nice heaping spoonful of grey mushy slop, this place called food, into DeathStar’s mouth as she finished the word ‘it’.
“How about you take your own advice.” Sara said calmly to DeathStar. Not exactly caring if her heaping spoonful of what ever had made it’s mark called her mouth or not. If she didn’t hit her mouth she no doubt mashed some of the substance in the other girl’s face. “Perhaps we’d actually be getting something useful done if we don’t have to worry about all the empty hot air coming out of your mouth.”
She let the others finish their conversation while she turned to the other feline mutant. Extending her own more paw like hand. “By the way. They call me Sara.”
She sat back in her seat, no doubt, getting an evil warning look from the guard, even with her now looking to see. One leg crossed over the other as she listened to the rest of the conversation. Parts of it going on at the same time.
"I'm gonna have Robot Pancakes when I get out of here! Then I am gonna get Helix from his sitter and give him some of his new toys."
Sara couldn’t help but raise an eye brow. “Who’s Helix?”
"Emerald correct me if I'm wrong, but you said you kicked my ass, You must have a dog brain not to remember Nika broke that little scuffle up, I wouldv'e had your ass, but I wanted to become an X-man, so b#tch you got lucky" Deathstar said as she clenched her teeth.
Deathstar looked around the room for any wondering guards slowly turning back to Nika, "Nika!, I'm sorry I had to belittle myself in order for these idiots can comprehend what the hell I'm saying" Deathstar turned toward the two instantly and shoves Amps food on the floor, "Now what were you saying?" Deathstar laughs hysterically at what she just done. "I'm pretty sure your used to bottom-feeding, now get on all fours just like you were with Oppressor, and do what you do best and eat that mess up off the floor" Deathstar said as she leaned over the table into Amp's face. "You don't know sh#t about me, so I suggest you stop writing checks you ass can't cash" She stood up from leaning on the table sitting down next to bone lady. "All I hear is words ladies, better come up with something better than runnin off at the mouth" she smiled as she leaned back putting her two legs on the table.
"Boney girl!, please spare me the lecture, I don't know why some imitation of SCUM that you are, can talk in my presence, Your lucky this latch is on my neck or else I would have sucked every ounce of life out of you for what you did Emerald, even though I hate her guts, but let me get something straight you lowlife piece of sh#t, don't ever think about threatening me or else what I have in store for you would make this camp look like heaven". Now sitting straight on the chair Deathstar's rage slowly building, she's trying everything in her power not to lash out on this girl and be punished. "YOU are the reason why this camp exists, YOU are the reason I'm in this mess, and YOU are the reason why I'm a better person today, looking at you I realize how muchyou remind me of an ass I made of myself in the past " she closed her eyes trying to compose herself.
Isabel gave a theatrical little yawn as Deathstar just kept blabbering on with her nonsensical little speeches. In truth her blood was positively boiling with every little insult, more so from the words spoken to her companions rather than herself. This little charade of detached indifference was getting harder and harder to keep up as every moment passed by. "I'm warning you, Blondie. Speak to my friends disrespectfully one more time and you'll be seriously sorry. You don't get another warning from me. Once more time and I swear I'll bust your nose." Again the tone was calm, but by now her fingernails were biting into her palms as she clenched her hands into tight little balls. Isabel merely gave the blond a quizzical look as she sat down next to her. She didn't want Deathstar anywhere near that close unless it was to get her in range for a well-aimed jab to the stomach. "Alright, sure, I'm running my mouth then. But then what are you doing while spewing all this garbage and polluting our air with your filth? I suppose logic is just much too far out of your blond little grasp and so you have to resort to foul language. You're really scraping at the bottom of the barrel for insults, aren't you?"
And the next spewing of rubbish the girl presented, Isabel just looked at the girl like she had three heads. "Well forgive me, Blondie. I wasn't aware that someone had died and made you queen. Sorry to say, but the world doesn't evolve around your pretty little head." With the girls threats, Isabel's features finally broke out into a grin before she started laughing. With every insult, the girl's words just seemed to become funnier and Isabel only laughed louder and more meaningfully. "Oh please," she remarked, giving a light sigh as she regained her composure, "You? A better person? Yeah right. All you look like to me is a foolish mass of flesh that has nothing better to do with her time than to start bickering with everyone around her. If you were an ass in the past, I shudder to think of what you've become today. Immediately off the bat I can see that you're supremely foolish and ignorant and you have no perception of anything that's going on around you. That alone is bad enough. You really are something."
And then she stood, unable to put up with sitting next to such an irritable and idiotic individual any longer. "You'd better think twice about who you issue threats to, girl. Suck me dry. That's a laugh. I'm willing to bet you wouldn't be able to lay a hand on me long enough to escape with your palms intact. Like you could ever hurt me. Ha! I'd turn you into a walking pin cushion before that ever happened." Another little "Hmph" escaped from her as she briefly looked over to Amp. Despite what she'd said at first, there was no way Isabel was going to let this girl off with just a verbal beating. No way in hell. And so she did as she's promised. She pulled her arm back and packed as much punch as she could behind her fist and she went for the girl's nose, followed by a jab from the opposite hand aimed from her jaw. While being able to manipulate her skeletal structure was ll well and good, Isabel didn't need her mutation to still be able to make this girl bleed.
I’m just a well-adjusted gal who likes to leave a serious amount of mayhem in her wake.
