The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Serena watched Tses leaving. Glad that she could now go home and rest. She decided. When she was settled in, and more comfortable with her powers. She would go and find Tses and thank her for everything she did. She really could not express enough gratitude.
She turned back to Victoria and gave another weak smile. "That'd actually be really great" She was still feeling a little Dizzy. But she needed to get this done.
They entered the first hallway of the mansion. "Soo... Where do we start?" Serena asked with an enthusiastic smile as her and Victoria had just entered the corridor.

With Serena now inside the gate the little blonde led the way to the mansion front door. Once there Victoria opened the door and allowed the taller girl to enter first. “Where are you from Serena? That’s a pretty name by the way.” Victoria gave a sweet little smile as she looked up to the new girl. “If you want I can show you part of the mansion while we look for a teacher or someone for you to talk to.”
"England, well born in England, moved to Scotland, now here. And thank you. I think its from my mothers side of the family... I never knew her though, she died from blood loss in child birth" Serena stopped herself when she realised she was rambling.
Blood loss... She suddenly realised the ironic sting that had to it. Yet she had this unusually fast regenerating blood... Wait. Could that be something to do with her power? Thinking about it gave her a headache.
"What about you? Victoria is also a lovely name" She said with another weak smile. She was looking particularly pale tonight, she thought to herself when she glanced at her arm under the light.

“Aitah! My mom named me. I’m sorry about your mother.” Victoria lowered her head just a bit from sorrow, but then looked back up at the new guest. “I was born in Romania and grew up in Estonia. I only recently arrived here in America.” It was interesting that Serena was also European. It made the girl smile happily. Even though she was from different countries the fact that they were both from Europe was good enough.
“Umm…so…this is the main entryway. I can show you the library and the classrooms if you’d like.”
"Yeah... that'd be cool." Serena stopped dead in her tracks for a moment. "I guess, now I am the only member of my family left alive..." Such a sad thought.
She stood in the hall for a moment, then proceeded to carry on following the young blonde girl.

Victoria couldn’t help but feel sad for Serena. She couldn’t imagine what it would be like to not have any family at all. Her parents were still alive and well. It’s just that she was so far away from them. A sudden case of homesickness set in, but the little girl wasn’t going to let this stay a sad moment.
“Ok let’s go!” Saying that Victoria made a dramatic gesture leaning her body and pointing with her thumb down the hall. “It’s really nice here from what I’ve seen so far. I’ve only been here for a little while, but everyone I’ve met has been very nice to me. I’m sure you’ll get the same response.”
Serena felt a wide smile spread across her face. The cheerfulness of this girl really was quite refreshing. Although she could see the girl was trying to keep Serena cheerful, she appreciated it.
They began walking down the hall. "So... I take it everyone that lives here is a mutant?" Serena asked keenly. She was eager to meet some of the other mutants, especially if they were all as friendly as Victoria was.
She was also curious as to what Victoria's power was. She wouldn't ask outright though. She wasn't going to jeopardize a potential friendship and place here at the mansion for simple curiosity.

Victoria walked right next to the taller girl, but at a pace that was easily observed in case she turned. “I haven’t met everyone here, but the few I have are mutants. One is one of my teachers. He’s really nice. His name is Mister Holloway and he teaches art.”
Speaking of art the 12 year old gestured to some of the sculptures and paintings in the hallway. “This place is so pretty! I love it here. Hopefully you will too.” Continuing on Victoria tried to remember the places she had been shown first. The library! “Do you like to read Serena? There’s a really big library here and it’s right this way.”
Serena's eyes lit up with excitement. "I LOVE reading, your gonna think I'm odd, but also biology text books...." Serena quickly said.
She looked back to the little blonde girl "So you like art? Do you like any of the sciences?" She asked as she was incredibly fond of biology. This girl seemed to take the same enthusiastic approach to art as Serena did with biology.
By the looks of things. They would get along just fine.
Today was one of the few days that Emerald found herself in the mansion, let alone in the mansion in her wolf form. Ruby had convinced her older sister to stick around for a little while so she wouldn't be so lonely when Em went back to her place.
It was starting to get harder and harder to tell Ruby that she didn't exactly feel like she should be in the mansion anymore. The mansion was for mutants who needed to learn how to control their abilities better and kids that didn't have a place to go or stay. Emerald was niether of those things, not anymore so she felt a little out of place in the mansion.
The she-wolf was actually in her wolf form today, stalking the hallways with plans to go hunting later. She was also trying to keep herself updated with all the scents of the students so she would be able to track them down if need be. While she wasn't a mansion resident anymore that didn't mean she wanted anyone to get lost or something like that. Most of the students were used to the large, black wolf with heavy red fur stalking around the hallways and knew to stay out of her way. The young kids occasionally got Emerald to play but this was a chance for her to be on her own.
The Alpha's ears twitched a little when she head two unfamiliar voices down the hall and with two unfamiliar scents accompanying them, she figured she should go check it out. The mansion might have an open door policy but that didn't mean she liked it. Anyone could sneak into this place if they really wanted to. At least Emerald didn't mind playing guard wolf all that much.
The blue eyed wolf padded into the library behind them and simply let out a single bark. The bark being a little more scary than she intended it, but it would be enough to get the two newcomers attention.

Guiding the tour into the library she responded to Serena. “Yes, I love art. I like pretty things. I was home schooled by my mom before coming here so she only went over some science stuff.” Victoria stopped a few feet into the library so she could let the older girl take in the volume of books the mansion had.
Smiling in hope that Serena’s reaction would be a good one she watched for a moment. Victoria thought she had done a good thing by showing this place first. That was quickly interrupted at the sound of a rather deep bark, and it was very close by.
Spinning around with a gasp the little girl’s red eyes locked on to a very big wolf. Did someone know there was a wolf loose in the mansion? “Woah! Umm..nice wolfy.” This was turning into a Harry Plotter novel. Victoria didn’t know what Serena could do but she moved to put herself between the wolf and the new girl just in case. She didn’t want to get chewed on but if she had to in order to save Serena she would endure the pain.
Victoria led Serena into a massive library. The sort of thing you would find on a world class university campus... Serena let out a gasp as she walked in. "Wowwww" She was shocked. She expected one of those run down, normal school libraries. What she got however was completely unexpected.
She took a few more steps in and glanced across the shelves. They had everything from modern and ancient literature, to text books and printed dissertations on biology and psychology. A wide grin spread across Serena's face. "This place... is AMAZING!"
She was interrupted by a loud and low bark. She spun around to see a mostly black, red around the head. HUGE wolf. One of its ears looked damaged and it was covered in scars. Serena let out a squeak. "Please tell me that's a friendly mutant..."
Seeing Victoria step out in front to protect her gave her the answer she needed. If she could manipulate blood. She could fight. It should work with hers. She hoped. But that would mean having to cut herself. She also wasn't sure if she wanted to do it in front of the little girl.
She decided to see how things played out. She stepped next to Victoria. "Think quicky Serena. You don't want either of you to become a chew toy." She stepped forward slightly. "If you are a mutant. I'm assuming your part of this school. I was under the impression that you were meant to be friendly to new mutants!"
Oops, looks like I scared some new kids...again. The wolf thought.
Emerald shifted on her paws uncomfortably a little bit, trying to remember how to portray herself as a friendly wolf. Or at least a little more friendly than she apparently looked. She took a glance behind her and noticed her tail was straight out and quite frankly she looked as if she was ready for combat.
Oh, that explains it, my default stance is me looking like I'm gonna tear someones throat out. I really gotta work on that. Emerald realized as she approached the newer duo.
Emerald tried her best to be more...friendly, her tail wagged playfully and she tried to manage the dopiest, happy doggy grin she could muster. After all her mom was a Husky which meant that Emerald had to have some bit of that domestic dopyness in her some where. Emerald sat in front of them showing no sign she was going to attack or anything and just tried her best to look completely normal and not out of place at all.
Then again she was still a giant wolf that was covered in scars trying to act friendly so the jury was out whether or not she looked "not as intimidating".

Serena spoke to the big creature hoping it was a mutant. Victoria was hoping for the same thing now, but would the wolf understand them? As far as Victoria knew it took special training for dogs to react when spoken too.
Her wonder was answered when the fearsome wolf suddenly made its self look like a still scarred goofy looking animal. The little blonde waited for a moment and watched before moving closer to see what sort of reaction the wolf would give. She knew she needed to put her hand out to let an animal smell her to see it she was liked or not. “Nice wolfy.”
The wolf suddenly started "Trying" to be cute. It was a slight failure however as it was still huge and covered in scars. It did however calm Serena a bit. Okay so this thing was probably not going to eat her and Victoria for dinner. That was good.
Then Victoria stuck her hand out towards the wolf. Serena was not sure whether or not this was a good idea. But Victoria appeared to already be going through with it. "Be careful Victoria" Serena said, concerned for her new friends safety.
