The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

(OOC: and i have been waiting for abyss to post because he was carrying me =p. anyways i'm gona pretend that the one carrying me is gona walk towards the exit if you don't like it i will change it =] )
"We have a couple of asylum buses loading up, not quite stylish but, they get the job done. Mercury, you can take the bike."
Cailyn was excited because she could see the busses from her window but never been in one. It sounded allot of fun to her to be riding a bus. The big red man that carried her walked towards the exit. It was a bumpy ride but a fun one. She found all the commotion very entertaining mainly because she never got to do anything but solve puzzle's and doodle.
Aproaching the open doors she felt the cool breeze of the outside air on her body. She was always inside so she hadn't felt the outside air for a long time. The little breeze tickled her it made her giggle a little. She bended a bit forwards and it almost made her fall down but she grabbed the red man's head to keep her from falling. She looked down at the man carrying her and said: "Oopsy."
Cailyn never gotten a compliment before and didn't know very well how to respond to it. She picked her mind about it while the whispers started telling her stuff. "Stop hitting on her, she is hitting on you." where just a few of them. She must admit that yellow was a pretty color for the pretty girl. Cailyn decided to just use her cutest smile and say:" Thank you."
"Hey Cailyn I got your tray."
Cailyn turned around and looked at the food. It wasn't quite like the picture but it looked nice. She had no idea what a tray was but then again she didn't know what money was either. She took the tray and said : " Thank you." with a bit of a high pitched voice and a smile. She smelled the food and it made her stomach growl for hunger again. She looked down and said to her stomach: "Almost there , just helping out the pretty girl."
Cailyn started zoning out again and began checking out the place. She softly hummed a song when she did that. He blue eyes caught sight of a girl being bumped by a man. The girl fell to the floor and Cailyn didn't like that. No girl should get hurt by a man, she knew a thing or two about that. Without saying anything to Chris she left to check on the girl.
As she arrived to the girl she tilted her head sideways and examined her with her bright, blue eyes. She found no real physical wounds maybe a bruise or two she couldn't see. Whispers spoke to her but Cailyn gave them a deaf ear as she examined the girl by going to her knees and moving her head a bit towards her. She kept looking straight at her eyes. They where yellow and Cailyn liked yellow. She seemed mesmirized by her eyes. Suddenly she softly spoke: "I like your eyes, are you hurt?"
"You've got to be a mind reader or somethin' cause I was thinking the same thing."
She looked at Chris and she nodded no again. She wanted to blurt out that her father was one and that she just has some kind of aftershock of what he could do but decided not to. Blurting things like that out wasn't very good mostly because she was running from her father.
Cailyn followed chris to the oriental food stand. She looked at the menu and saw all kinds of things she didn't know. She scrolled down the menu and found a picture of a steaming bowl of noodles. She likes the stringy things and said: " I want one of those." as she pointed at the picture while looking at the server. She scrolled back the menu again but didn't find a interresting picture to point at. She then turned back to the server and nodded : "That was it." before he could ask if she wanted anything else.
Chris started to walk away and Cailyn followed him, looking at all the people who passes her by. She pulled her sleaves a bit over her hand while she walked. She followed Chris with a slow pace , examining everybody who passed by while the whispers talked to her. "Why follow him." "Is it smart to go with him." "He could hurt you." said most of the whispers though there were some more optimistic ones. She continued to follow Chris into the food court.
As they entered the food court she gazed around looking at all the food stands they had there. Her stomach made the faint sound of rumbling again when she smelled the scent of food being prepared. It all smelled way beter then the food they served at the asylum and Cailyn didn't know where to begin. She looked around some more to see a foodstand that served oriental food. She never say that before, all she ever saw was mashed potatoes and pee's. She pointed over to the stand and softly said: " I want to try that."
"Sorry am I annoying you? I don't mean to. It's just you're different, and different is interesting to me.
She shook her head no again. The headaches where a bit less now but the whispers where talking again. "Different is what drives people to hate." they said to her. "To Kill." they continued. Different is what ruined her life to begin with. She rubbed her head a bit more before reacting again. "People think Different is wrong." She said. It reminded her about all the time she spent in the asylum just because she is different.
"So, do you want to grab something to eat? My treat."
Her stomach rumbled again. She looked at it and said: "Shhh" She looked up to Chris and said. "My tummy wants to." She stood up and brushed her pants as if they where dirty. She put her hands together and looked at Chris with a smile. "You got the money they speak of?" She asked.
"Oh, sorry about that." Fission said to her. Then it registered with him what she said. "Wait. What? H...How'd you know that? Are you a psychic or what?"
She was bazzled by that. She wasn't psychic, just knew things but he seemed to think she was psychic. She shook her head in a "No" manner. "i just know." She said. This conversation became weird, even for her. The guy seemed to be pretty interrested in her, seeing as he was fighting with himself weither or not he was going to talk to her. Cailyn started thinking about what his agenda with her was because he seemed very interrested in her. She shrugged that off because she was very thrusty in nature and she believed that he would be nice to her. If he didn't it was more of a problem for him then for him.
Voices started talking to her again. They whispered stuf to her about the people that passed by. This gave her a bit of a headache. She rubbed her head and looked a bit irritated. This wasn't one of the first times she got this affect to her but she mostly got over it withing 10 minutes or so.
"You may not need a lot of friends but you do need some."
He was clearly right so Cailyn simply didn't respond, though she did manage to have no friends till she got out of the asylum. She pondered her thoughts for a moment. She tried to figure out what he wanted from her, she was clearly not bothering anybody. She is a bit paranoide when it came to men mostly because of the guards hitting her when she was minding her business. She shrugged it of, she would just be her "normal" self and see where it goes. Then she noticed his conflict with himself. This gave the impression he was a bit off. This made her a bit more carefull around him because she didn't know what he was going to do. As the argument in his head stopped Cailyn said to him:"Fighting with yourself is a unatractive feature."
"Well hi, Cailyn. Who is the they that you speak of? And besides if you don't talk to strangers how are you supposed to meet new people and make friends?"
Cailyn let that sink in for a moment. she didn't want to tell him about the voices and neither did the voices want to be talked about. He was correct about the friends part but, Cailyn was never alone. "They don't want me to tell you." She sad with a little nod. "They don't like being talked about." She rocked her body back and forth a little before answering the friends question. She put the tip of her thumb to her mouth and looked to the ground. She came to realize she didn't have much friends but she mostly didn't need them. She was mostly occupied with keeping herself as sane as possible. "I don't need allot of friends." She said. Suddenly she noted that he thought she was unstable and that did something to her. She didn't think of herself as unstable, just a bit odd... maybe. She put her head between her legs, hiding her face and she whispered to herself."I'm not unstable, i'm just odd." She said that so softly that Chris wouldn't hear her completly.
A young man walked up to Cailyn. He had seen him coming but she went into shy mode when she noted he was walking up to her. He was the first person to react to her observation of people. All the other people ignored her or gave her akward looks. "I'm sorry but did you say you needed some money? Are you hungry, cause I was on my way to the food court to get something and wouldn't mind some company. My names Chris by the way, and you are...?"
She looked at him a bit amazed. "He is talking to you , react." Said a whisper to her. She shook her head and said:"they say my name is Cailyn." She smiled at him with a soft, cute smile. "But i shouldn't talk to strangers, they say" She added and she started to bite her lip as she still sat down with her knees curled up against her ignoring the hand.
Cailyn found herself sitting on a bench in a mall in new york city. Not that she knew it was called a mall of that she was in new york city. She passed by all the stores looking through the windows seeing all kinds of items she found interrested. This one shop particular sold a jacket she was in love with, byt the store owner said that she needed money to buy it. Being a escaped mental patient wasn't a good start to buy stuff so she sat down on a bench just looking at people and smiling. She rocked her body back and forth and with every person that passed by she got a little bit of intel about them. Sometimes she even heard the whispers telling her secrets about them. Who cheated on who and what they did after closing hours. Some people looked strangly at her but Cailyn didn't care, she found everybody who passed by just as interresting as the next. To bad nobody was here to enjoy the fun she was having
After a few hours she was still sitting there, watching at people. She stil had the time of her life, learning more about people. She curled her legs up against herself and put her head between her knees just observing people. She smiled with the cutest smile she had to everyone who looked at her while they mostly just looked at her like a freak. Eventually she began to get hungry, her stomach rubbled softly. She looked down to her stomach with her knees still curled up to her and softly said: "Don't take that tone to me, i don't have money."
" If this father of yours is a problem you would like to go away, we could make that happen."
Cailyn shook her head in a no- manner. "Daddy protects me from me, but he is no fun. " She said sadly. "He loves me." She added to it. The pixy lady left and got back with a friend she never saw before. Then again she didn't see much of the other people inside this place anyways. She waved hello to the young man.
Suddenly more red people came into the hallway and she was scooped up by one. It kind of scared her at first since she didn't know what was going on but when she sat on his shoulder she found it rather amusing. She looked at the red giant and he seemed to be smiling. This made Cailyn smile too , but nobody could see that. She patted the top of his head and said:" Nice mister bubbles."
Cailyn received the mask from the pixy lady and immediatly tried to put it on. After a small struggle she got it on and her breathing started slowing down. Her breathing was heard through the hallway now. She was a bit more calm and relaxed now but she still had to get out of here before her father's unit showed up. "I wanna go." She said to the group pointing at the exit sign.
Suddenly 2 other red men walked into the hallway playing with a guard. She shrugged it of that they were identical to the other red man. This just proved that the whispers can be right at some time. She softly whispered that to herself: "Guess you where right." She then tried to walk through to the exit but she was tired from all the comotion and the use of her powers and she didn't walk as fast as normal. "I wanna go, daddy can't find me here." she repeated.
"any mutants are welcome to come back with us to the sanctuary."
She looked at the red man with amazed eyes. "The church of sin?" She asked the big red man not knowing why she asked. It did seem a bit interrested. Her childish side found that Sanctuary was a fancy word and that it could be fun to find out what it was for Cailyn.
Something suddenly just cracked in Cailyn. It was a warning and not just any warning. A big siren warning. Whispers went beserk telling her something very important and it gave her headaches again. She grabbed her head again and screamed:"They are coming!" The warning wasn't about the guards. her father found out and send a unit after her. Panic returned into the girls mind. All she wanted to do is get her mask and get out of here. She lunged herself after the girl who had and said. "Gimme, gimme, gimme." In panic.
