Mutations
Mutation description: Aiden has the ability to become a white weretiger with black stripes. He is also able to partially transform any part of his body into that of the weretiger.
Strengths: This also grants him increased sight and hearing while in his human state. The strength and speed of his weretiger form is above the average tiger in conjunction with the intelligence of Aiden’s mind.
Weaknesses: While in human form, his eyes give away that he is a mutant. The weretiger is feral and bloodthirsty, but intelligent. It yearns to be released. It calls out to Aiden for its release when it suspects it has the greatest chance of escaping. Aiden is in almost constant struggle with this inner beast. When he is in his weretiger form, it is difficult for Aiden to refrain from an all out killing frenzy. The weretiger’s thirst can only be quenched by killing but it is never completely satisfied. While in weretiger form Aiden can only direct his actions. He does not have complete control. Aiden’s cold nature is partly a byproduct of this. Aiden must always be in control of his emotions or the weretiger will be released.

History Of Your Character:
Please write the history of your character and explain when they discovered (if applicable) their power(s). Aiden grew up in a privately funded corporation’s facility funded by the government. He was only allowed outside for missions and training exercises in the beginning. Later they placed a tracking device on him so they would know where his is at all times. His missions mostly consisted of captures/assassinations of high ranking political officials as well retrieval of documents, protecting individuals and captures/assassinations of mutants. This is the only life he has ever known.
His father, a man who was anti-mutant, gave the boy away to the after discovering that his son was a mutant. (Ironically this would be the man’s only child.) This was due to the pupil shape of Aiden’s eyes. The weretiger surfaced later in his adolescence while he was being trained.
He was brainwashed into thinking that only the strongest survive. So naturally, he made sure he was always the strongest. As part of the boy’s training, he was to be beaten if he did not perform as well as expected. The weretiger surfaced during one of these beatings when Aiden was 12 and severely mauled the ‘trainer’. From that point on, Aiden was always chained to the floor during the beatings. Aiden also had a habit of being found where he wasn’t supposed to. Such as, restricted rooms containing files from personnel files to mission briefings. This led to more beatings, but Aiden had learned to overcome such things. In his view, the only reason he was there was because he didn’t care to go anywhere else with all his needs being taken care of.
Just before one of his usual forays for information, Aiden discovered that one of his fellow mutant agents (Cold Steel) was attempting escape. He later found out that the agent was successful. With security being tightened around the facility, Aiden thought it would be a perfect time to show how superior he was to these pitiful humans by escaping when they were at their strongest. Once the escape was complete he left for New York City. He made small detour to Chicago so he could become reacquainted with his father who abandoned him and kill him.
Sample RP: The house was dark as the night sky when man entered it and closed the door behind him. It was a rather unusual occurrence since his wife was always home early from her work making dinner or some other home making activity. And uneasy feeling grew within the older man as he flipped on the light switch.
The new brightness revealed a young man with blonde hair around 20 years old who was standing just down the hall. His build was muscular but didn’t quite fill out the jeans and black t-shirt he wore. The most unsettling feature about him was his eyes. The pupils were shaped the way a cat’s would be. Those eyes were never meant to grace a human face. But there they were. Starring back at the older man, never blinking.
The older man’s fear welled up inside him. It felt like a tangible weight in the pit of his stomach. He backed away from the younger mutant even though he had made no move toward him. The younger man smiled, but it held no mirth. “I’m not going to ask you if you remember me because you wouldn’t know me as the man who stands before you. What I do want you to know is that your wife died well. She hardly made a sound as she passed from this life.”
The older man could not believe what he was hearing. Who was this young upstart?! He was sure that his wife probably was held up at work and could not make it home yet. But wouldn’t she have called him about it? The man spoke with as mush false bravado as he could muster. “You’re no man. You’re a mistake. That is all you are and all your kind ever will be.”
“You shouldn’t talk to me that way, Father.” The human stopped and starred with wide eyes and the feline eyed mutant. Everything seemed to fall into place for him at that moment. He remembered how furious he was at having a mutant son. His horror when he looked upon his son’s eyes in the delivery room. The man was still as all these thought ran through his head.
It was plenty of time for the young mutant to cross the intervening space and seize his father by the throat. Only, it was a white tiger’s claw that was firmly clasped about the man’s neck, not the hand that the older man was sure he had seen a moment earlier.
“What’s the matter? Tiger got your tongue?” taunted the young man. And with that the mutant ripped the man’s throat out and wiped his furry claw on the man’s clothes. With the blood gone, the hand returned to its normal, human appearance. “You didn’t deserve to have me as a son. You’re too weak.”
A search through the man’s pocket revealed a car key and a wallet with some spare cash. The mutant grabbed the car key and walked out to see the car the key belonged to. It was a new
silver Jaguar XF. The young man smiled slightly at the near irony of the car brand and his mutation. “Close enough,” he said as he climbed inside the car.
As he started the engine, he realized he had no where to go. “Well, I’ve always wanted to see New York,” the young man said as the car pulled out of the driveway and sped off. That wasn’t true. The idea of one of the most populated cities in the United States holding and infinite number of new prey for him was the real reason for his choice of destination.
