Aiden had been planning on taking his new girlfriend to Paris for a short little vacation for the past week. So naturally, he didn't pack until the morning of the day he was leaving. It did not take long though. The couple would only be there for a few days so there wasn't a need to bring more than one bag.
Aiden threw the bag in his car as he pulled out of his garage. He remembered to lock all the doors as well as turn off the electricity. Starting to make his way to the Mansion gate, Aiden called up Arielle so that she would be waiting when he drove up to the front door. "Hey, I'm here. I'll see you soon. Bye." The voice behind the intercom had even grown more accustomed to Aiden since he was now a frequent caller on Arielle.
As he pulled up to the front door, the shifter saw that Arielle wasn't there waiting. She's probably having trouble with all of the bags she brought, thought Aiden. Thinking it would just be quicker if he carried the luggage out, Aiden walked into the Mansion and down the now familiar path to her room. After knocking on the door, Aiden poked his head inside. "I hope you're decently clothed. Not that it would stop me anyway," he said as he walked inside.

The shifter watched Alexandra cleaned up the water she had spilled by turning it into vapor with a wave of her hand. After that her eyes focused on him. Aiden's stared right back into hers.
"Well, there was a camp breakout staged by the Resistance and about three weeks after that happenned the government decided that the Registration Act wasn't working."

Seeing Alexandra's reaction, Aiden stopped playing the piano so that it he could give Alexandra his full attention. He didn't want to be rude after all. The sound of her raised voice sounded especially loud to his hearing. Aiden also chose to ignore the now wet floor at ther feet.
Sensing that something wasn't adding up, Aiden asked again "Is everything alright?"

Her answer seemed to further confuse Aiden. Somehow, he got the feeling that she wasn't current with the events of the world. He supposed it was the way she just realized the date and the lenght of her time spent with the Kabal.
"You know that the Registration Act has been removed, don't you?" It the biggest thing he could think of to talk about that concerned the both of them since they were both mutants. That had been one of the more important events of his life so he felt he should mention it.

Aiden watched her as she reformed the once water into a small crystal of ice. Th shifter was kind of surprised by the question she asked. It didn't make any sense to him but he was completely polite and answered her without a hint of malice.

Aiden was relaxed as he drove to the Mansion. The weretiger in him had been at ease for the longest period of time that Aiden could remember. Even the voice at the gate didn't bother him as it had earlier when he had picked up his date.
Everything seemed perfect, until Aiden parked the car and got out to open Arielle's door. The weretiger grew restless for some reason. Aiden looked around and saw nothing that looked out of the ordinary. He simply dismissed the weretiger's stirring because the reason for it's long silence (Arielle) was about to be gotten rid of.
He opened the door and offerred a hand to Arielle as she stepped out of the car. As they began to walk up the stairs that led up to the front door the shifter stopped suddenly. He couldn't place it but something felt wrong somehow.

Aiden sighed when Arielle mentioned getting out of bed. He didn't want to leave yet. He didn't want to leave at all actually. But Arielle rose from her position and began to dress herself so the shifter didn't see a reason to stay in bed by himself.
He got up and began to dress himself, all the while taking peeks at Arielle as she did the same. When he was ready he took her hand and led her out the door and back down the elevator to his car. As he drove back to the Mansion, Aiden was sure that this was the best night of his life. And nothing anyone did was going to change that.

Aiden was certainly impressed with Alexandra's display of power. The way she handled it spoke of control and years of practice. The weretiger shifter felt a sudden kinship with her, since he had also spent years of his early life in training.
"Not at all," said the feline mutant in reply as the snow began to fall around him. Continuing to play as the snowflakes landed on the piano, Aiden asked, "How long have you been with the organization?"

Aiden's thoughts stopped at the word love. He hadn't really ever thought that word would apply, could apply to him. But here he was in a bed with a beautiful girl, and he cared about her more than he would have thought possible. It had nothing to do with the sex. That was merely physical. His feeling so was much more than that.
Aiden ran his fingers down Arielle's back as he continue to lay there with her. Laughing at what she said, Aiden replied "I think you'll be ok." He paused, "And your dress is still in one piece amazingly."

Aiden nodded at his partner's suggestion of a code word. "I'll tell you that I have captured the dragon when I have the hostage in hand. Once I have ferried him to a safe location I will return to the game so just in case you have any problems and just in case things get out of hand."
Aiden had a car provided by the Kabal for the get away vehicle, so he simply drove that to the site of the tournament. He parked somewhere around the back of the building and entering near the kitchen. He immediately grabbed a plate of drinks and began his deception.
The weretiger shifter had decided that he would wait until the game would have been well underway before he made his move.

As Aiden lay in the bed next to Arielle, he felt....content. It was the first time in his life he could remember feeling that way. He didn't want that feeling to stop. He smiled at what Arielle said about smoking, taking it as a joke. He stayed away from that sort of stuff since he liked to be comepletely aware at all times. He didn't judge others for their vices either.
"No worries. There will be plenty of more moments like that I'm sure." Not wanting to get out of the bed just yet, Aiden put his arms around her and kissed her. He pushed the thought of taking her back to the Mansion to the back of his find for the moment.

The weretiger shifter had began getting dressed as soon as he had heard the door to the other room open. He was in his waiter's garb complete with some bothersome contacts to cover his eyes. The less attention the attracted the better. He placed the ear piece in last.
The giant's speech resounded inside his head when he spoke. Causing him to move his body as if ducking a blow to the head. Aiden removed the piece and turned the volume down the the decibels would not hurt his eardrums with his enhanced hearing.
"Yeah, it is thanks," replied Aiden. It was just about time for him to leave. "I need to get over there and slip in with the other waiters while there's still time. Is there anything you would like to discuss before I leave?"
