The person that walked in wasn't exactly what Aiden was expecting. But then again, he hadn't been expecting anything. The girl was young, 18 most likely. With long, flowing dark hair that reached all the way down to her lower back. She was short by his standards but then again, mostly everyone was.
The girl walked in and sat down on the couch, crossing one leg over the other. Aiden grinned at the irony of her question. He saw that she had brown eyes when he spoke. "You can trust me...most of the time anyway."
He finished the Moonlight Sonata, and began playing one of the more happier pieces he knew. Bach's Minuet in G always seemed to cheer him up. "I'm Aiden by the way. I don't believe I've had the pleasure of meeting you before now."

The shifter was kind of taken aback by the question. "You're right. That is a personal question." Aiden gave a nervous laugh to by him sometime. I guess I'll tell her the truth, he thought.
"Before, no. Now, I'm not really sure. I've never felt anything like what I'm feeling right now that's for certain. I'm going to have to get back to you on that one. How about you?"
Aiden pulled up infront of one of the nicest hotels in the city, the Grand Hyatt New York. He got out of the car and walked to the other side to help Arielle out. After that was done he threw the valet his keys. And held his arm out for Arielle to grasp.

Aiden was absorbed in the piano. That was until his ears picked up some footsteps from the hallway. He continued to play though. They sounded like really light feet, probably a woman and they had stopped by the door way. Probably just listening to the music.
The weretiger shifter finished the Turkish March and then began to play Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata. He played well through half of the piece before he spoke to the eavesdropper.

The feline eyed mutant continued to drive while talking. "What do I need to get to the third date? If you don't mind letting me know." Yes, that was the right word. Interesting. She certainly is interesting but how is she making me feel this way? Aiden's right hand slipped off the steering wheel and onto Arielle's hand. He laced his fingers through hers hoping that she wouldn't mind.

The rooms that the Kabal had provided him were quite spacious. The living room had almost seemed empty when Aiden had arrived. But that was before he had a piano brought in. He had heard no complaints from anyone about how hard it would be to put in there. He only requested it, and it was done.
The reason for the piano wasn't merely for show. It wasn't one of those things people ask about and the owner says 'yes, I play' when in fact they really don't. No, this instrument was meant to be played.
Aiden sat down on the bench and started to strum his finger on the keys to hear whether it was in tune or not. Even to his enhanced hearing, it sounded perfect. Feeling satisfied, Aiden began to play Mozart's Turkish March from memory. It was a nice fast paced piece that helped him work the dexterity of his fingers.
Aiden had not thought of how the music would carry down the hall and be heard by others. Or of how they would come and investigate the source of the noise.

"Well don't worry about that. I've got you covered."
Taking Arielle's arm, Aiden lead her out of the front door and to his car. He politely opened the door for her so she could get in. Having done that he got in on the other side and started the engine up. Aiden took one last look at the Mansion before he drove off.
The gate opened as they pulled up to it letting them pass without any trouble. As soon as they had left the Mansion, Aiden let his foot lean more on the gas then was necessary and the Jaguar shot of into the street. But after that he maintained the speed limit. They had plenty of time.

Aiden had recognized her footsteps long before Arielle had even reached the staircase. Enhanced hearing was a benefit sometimes. But naturally, he continued looking around until she had stopped at the top of the staircase to look at her.
Even knowing she was standing there, Aiden's eyes widened at how beautiful Arielle looked at the moment. The shock soon wore off and was replaced by a boyish grin. The kind that gets you into trouble when you haven't even done anything wrong.
His suit was fine weave of black cloth and had been specifically tailored to fit him. He hoped that it looked good. "Oh that's just a roll of quarters. It was laundry day." Aiden then made a show of looking her over for a few seconds. "And you look beautiful. Too beautiful I'm afraid. Now every man there will want to dance with you and I'll have to beat them away with a stick."

Aiden was anxious as he pulled up to the Mansion gate. It made him uncomfortable since he had not been that way in a long time. Sure, he had fun when they had gone out dancing the other night but that didn't mean they would this night.
His nervousness had set him on edge causing the weretiger to become restless as well. It reminded him that he had to be in control at all times. He considered that seeing Arielle again might be too great a risk for him. But in the end, he couldn't make himself cancel their plans.
The feline mutant pressed the call button by the gate as he sat in his Jaguar XF. A response came from the other end. "State your business." Aiden responded promptly, "I'm here to take Arielle out dancing." A pause came from the other end before the response. "Alright then." After the voice was done talking the double gates swung open allowing Aiden to drive his car up to the front of the Mansion.
Aiden got out and walked to the front door, leaving his sunglasses in the car. He just let himself in and stood there examining the room while waiting for Arielle to come down the staircase.

Aiden only stood there and watched unsure of what to do as she touched her finger to her lips and walked away. It certainly wasn't the most proper good bye but nonetheless it was more satisfying than any goodbye that Aiden had ever gotten. He watched her walk away from him.
As soon she was out of his sight, he found the nearest bench and sat down. Trying to make sense of everything that had happenned. The fact that he rans his fingers through his hair showed how much he was stressed.
He had to remember everything that would happen and analyze it. It probably wouldn't do any good but I would make him feel better. This girl had messed with his head. He had until 8 tonight to get his head right. But the only thing he could think to do was self introspection. How did she do this to me? And how to I make it stop? It was certainly a most befuddling thing.

Well, this certainly was turning out to be a fine day. More than I could have hoped for, thought Aiden as Arielle put her hands on him. It caused the hairs to raise on the back of his neck and goosebumps to go down his arms.

Aiden tried to act as relaxed as possible while she spoke but he sat up when she turned his line around on him. It was rather unnerving for him. He had never been this rattled by a girl before. What was wrong with him? Why was he losing control? The weretiger in him stirred at his anxiety.
"You truly are a prize to behold. One that any man would be happy to have. I guess I'll just have to do my best and hope that I come out on top. I'd be fine with being on the bottom too come to think of it." After he said that he finished off the meal and paid for both of theirs. He hoped that Arielle wouldn't get that mad about it.
"So, there's a ball going on this Saturday if you are still interested." He said this as they were walking out of the restaurant.

During his first few days in New York, Aiden had stumbled upon a battle between mutants on the grounds of what looked like a mansion. That must be where this girl is staying at. I'm sure she won't mind showing me around there if I say I am interested. Aiden decided that he would investigate more later.
The feline mutant noted the change in Arielle's demeanor. When she talked about being lonely it struck a chord in Aiden. It was a sensation he found quite odd since that never happenned before. He felt a sudden closeness with Arrielle at the moment. Hmmm....this is....interesting.
"Well, perhaps we can be lonely together." Then came the comment about what he had said about the dress. "I said that it 'might' end up happening. It would really be completely up to you whether it happenned or not."

Arielle's reaction wasn't exactly what Aiden had been expecting. Well, that certainly didn't go as I had hoped. But with women, how many things do? "I'm sorry if I offended you. Believe me, it was the last thing I wanted to do. I guess I can pay for dinner."
Their meal arrived and Aiden took the time to thank the waitress. He cut a piece off of his steak and tasted it savoring the flavor and juice. He knew that Arielle was watching him so he tried to look as nonchalant as possible.
"Oh, it's nothing fancy really. Just some apartment for right now until I find something better. Where do you live?"
