The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

The rooms that the Kabal had provided him were quite spacious. The living room had almost seemed empty when Aiden had arrived. But that was before he had a piano brought in. He had heard no complaints from anyone about how hard it would be to put in there. He only requested it, and it was done.
The reason for the piano wasn't merely for show. It wasn't one of those things people ask about and the owner says 'yes, I play' when in fact they really don't. No, this instrument was meant to be played.
Aiden sat down on the bench and started to strum his finger on the keys to hear whether it was in tune or not. Even to his enhanced hearing, it sounded perfect. Feeling satisfied, Aiden began to play Mozart's Turkish March from memory. It was a nice fast paced piece that helped him work the dexterity of his fingers.
Aiden had not thought of how the music would carry down the hall and be heard by others. Or of how they would come and investigate the source of the noise.
It was almost 12 am when Circe woke up from her slumber. She looked around her... Darkness was covering everything. A dim light came from the night lamp next to her bed. The infirmary looked plain creepy. There was so much silence. Wincing, she got off from her bed. She knew that her body wasn't adapted yet to this state but sitting in that bed wouldn't fix anything. With small but steady steps she reached the door.
An intense light bothered her eyes as she opened it. She blinked a few times before her eyes completely adjusted to the new environment. She found herself in yet another silent room. This time it was a hallway. Using the wall as a support in case of emergency, she began to walk toward what it looked like a door.
She was at about half of the distance when music began to sound somewhere. She couldn't hear it clearly but it seemed like piano music. Speeding up her pace a bit, she tried to follow the sound of the music. She wondered who was playing piano at this late hour. It didn't took long to find the source of the music. Her steps took her to what seemed to be the living room of the Mondragon Labs residents. The music was louder and louder with every step she made. Finally, she reached the source. The door of the room was slightly ajar. She pushed it open, trying to be as silent as possible. Hopefully, the person playing the piano won't be disturbed. She didn't want to interrupt. She watched from the door, not making any step forward.
It was a young man, probably around 20 years old, with short, blond hair. He seemed to be very concentrated on playing. Leaning on the frame of the door she continued to listen and watch.

Aiden was absorbed in the piano. That was until his ears picked up some footsteps from the hallway. He continued to play though. They sounded like really light feet, probably a woman and they had stopped by the door way. Probably just listening to the music.
The weretiger shifter finished the Turkish March and then began to play Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata. He played well through half of the piece before he spoke to the eavesdropper.
The young man continued to play. Circe admired all those who had talent with music. And the piano was one of her favorite instruments. The Turkish March ended but he began to play The Moonlight Sonata. Circe couldn't help herself to notice the moon trough the windows of the living room. It casted a silvery light upon the man.
'Figures.' she thought a small smile on her face. As he reached the middle of the piece he decided to speak. Circe wasn't surprised that he was aware of her presence. After all, it was a strange world she lived in.
"You can come on in. I promise I won't bite."
A sincere smile appeared on her face. "Can I trust your word that you won't do that?" she replied as she advanced into the room. She went to the couch and took a seat. She put a leg over the other and continued to listen.

The person that walked in wasn't exactly what Aiden was expecting. But then again, he hadn't been expecting anything. The girl was young, 18 most likely. With long, flowing dark hair that reached all the way down to her lower back. She was short by his standards but then again, mostly everyone was.
The girl walked in and sat down on the couch, crossing one leg over the other. Aiden grinned at the irony of her question. He saw that she had brown eyes when he spoke. "You can trust me...most of the time anyway."
He finished the Moonlight Sonata, and began playing one of the more happier pieces he knew. Bach's Minuet in G always seemed to cheer him up. "I'm Aiden by the way. I don't believe I've had the pleasure of meeting you before now."
"You can trust me...most of the time anyway." came his reply. The song ended and he began to play a happier song. Tilting her head to the side she analyzed the young man.
"I'm Aiden by the way." he presented himself. "I don't believe I've had the pleasure of meeting you before now."
"You have a nice name. I like it." Circe spoke. "I am Alexandra. Known as Circe." Alexandra didn't make any movement or sound. She waited for Aiden to answer while listening the piano song.

After the completion of the last piece, Aiden began to play Chopin's Prelude in A Op. 28, No. 7. It was one that could be played either slow or fast. The feline mutant opted for slower for the moment.
The girl appeared to be normal. But meeting her in this place meant she wasn't normal. She was most likely also under the employ of the Mr. Slate. Aiden off-handedly wondered what the company policy was for relations between the employees.
"Well met Alexandra. What brings you out this late at night? I thought women had to have their beauty sleep. Not that you need it."
"Well met Alexandra. What brings you out this late at night? I thought women had to have their beauty sleep. Not that you need it."
Her mind wandered off for a few seconds not knowing what to answer. What brought her out at this hour? She had enough sleep... And until her training session came, she was sure that she won't be able to get to sleep again.
"No particular reason." she answered. The fact that she was in a coma for several months didn't look like a good subject to start a conversation with. "I guess they need it. But I've had plenty."
She didn't make any comment on his last sentence as she didn't know how to interpret it. People said women were hard to understand. Men were too. At least the mutant part of the male species.

Aiden continued to play Chopin's piece. He hadn't quite finished it yet. All the while thinking of this girl who had just walked in. Alexandra, or Circe which ever name she wanted to be called, wasn't talking that much. That left it up to Aiden to keep the conversation going.
"Are you an employee of Mr. Slate as well Miss Alexandra?" Aiden assumed she was since she lived in the Labs but then again she could be some hostage the Kabal had kidnapped. There was no way to tell.
"Are you an employee of Mr. Slate as well Miss Alexandra?" came another question as he continued to play the song. She remained silent for a few precious moments after he had asked her the question. She was in some world of own, the one that was given birth while she was listening music.
"Yes. I am." she replied shortly. She forced herself back to the real world. For some people, her little escape seemed to be considered rude. She didn't want Aiden to think she didn't want to speak with him. After all, her vocal chords felt as rusty as her limbs.
From his question she deducted that he was a Kabal member as well. Probably recruted after her accident or even recruited by Slate himself. Curiosity creeped into her."What are your powers Aiden?" she asked.

Alexandra seemed startled as she answered his question. Aiden had figured that she zoned out while listening to the piano. He could do the same thing with music as well. Just forget where he was and drift through his thoughts.
Aiden shifted his song to something less classical for the next piece. He played The Dance by Garth Brooks to shift the mood of the room. "I am a weretiger shifter. Along with enhanced hearing and sight. And yours?"
Aiden changed the song he played. Circe tried to remember if she had heard the song before but came out with a blank.
"I am a weretiger shifter. Along with enhanced hearing and sight. And yours?" Aiden replied to her question. She remembered one time she went to the zoo with her parents and saw a tiger. A white tiger. She was so impressed. Since then, it was her favorite animal.
[OOC: this is actually true since circe borrows traits from me... she'll like white tigers too]
This memory made her think about her parents. What happened with them? Were they still wanting her registered?
[OOC: btw, someone should mention circe that the registration act is gone]
No, no more thinking about it. The music was making her melancholic. She pushed away the thoughts about her past and concentrated on the present.
"Really? I love tigers since I was a kid. Especially white tigers." Circe replied. She then looked at her hands. "As for me , I'm a molecule manipulator." she continued. She hoped that her powers were just as usual. She didn't want any surprises to occur during the training session she had tomorrow.

OOC: I'll try to mention the registration act thing if I can think of something.
IC: "Well, you're in luck. My tiger form has a white coat." Aiden laughed at the coincidence. "Hmm...molecular manipulation huh? That sounds kind of broad to me. What kind of things can you do with that?"
The shifter saw that she had looked at her hands while she spoke. He figured that her power must be related to hand motions or direct contact. Having finishe "The Dance", Aiden's fingers began to play the tune "Brown Eyed Girl" by Van Morrisson. He thought it was appropriate.
"Well, you're in luck. My tiger form has a white coat." Aiden laughed briefly at the coincidence then continued. "Hmm...molecular manipulation huh? That sounds kind of broad to me. What kind of things can you do with that?"
"That's sweet." Alexandra replied and laughed as well. Then she looked around for a few moments. "I can do lots of things." she answered.
"Like this." she spoke and then she focused on the water from a flower vase. It was the first time when she was using her powers after the accident. It was a bit difficult for her to visualize the water molecules. The water seemed to flow from the vase to her, it described a circle her hand then moved to Aiden.
Circe rotated her finger enjoying using her powers. The water moved in slow motion around Aiden then quickly went up. She focused better on the molecules and a small snow flakes began to fall on Aiden. Circe laughed. "I hope you don't mind snow."

Aiden was certainly impressed with Alexandra's display of power. The way she handled it spoke of control and years of practice. The weretiger shifter felt a sudden kinship with her, since he had also spent years of his early life in training.
"Not at all," said the feline mutant in reply as the snow began to fall around him. Continuing to play as the snowflakes landed on the piano, Aiden asked, "How long have you been with the organization?"
