The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Abbigail pouted at being ignored, but watched the on-goings anyway. She didn't understand why she was being ignored. She didn't understand a lot of what adults did though. She hoped it would make more sense as she got older.
Watching the cashier take the card and then run the card was boring. But it meant they were leaving. That was good. She didn't think she would come back to Bosom Buddies. Maybe there was a different way she could get these kinds of things. She'd have to ask. Later.
>>"Did you need to buy something for Simon?"
"Who's Simon?" she quietly asked the two women with her.
>>"Should I put the receipt in the bag?"
"I'll take 'em!" Abby grinned. It would give her an idea of what kind of money she would need to get any more. The cashier handed the receipt and the bag over with a forced smile. Abby just smiled more.
As they went outside, Abby wondered if this meant the end of their day. She didn't really want it to end. She liked Miss Isabel. It was about lunch time wasn't it? The little blonde's stomach growled in response to her wondering. "Can we get lunch before we go home?"

Abby's small body shook with the force she had hit Sam with. So much that she lost her grip on his arm. Her upper back hit the floor painfully, but she was too proud of her hit to be worried about the pain. The little blonde turned the rest of her falling body into a backwards somersault. She tired to get her feet under her, but instead ended up just sitting on her butt.
She grinned at Sam's words. First time someone her age did something like that. Instinct, but not wrong. Her legs felt like jell-o from the activity. But she was happy with the feeling. She had landed a hit that made Sam stumble!
>>”I’ll have to keep that in mind. I sometimes learn more from my students.”
Abby got to her feet shakily and bowed back. "I didn't actually think about it when I did it. Is that okay?" She wanted to make sure she could follow her instincts like that. She knew she had a lot to learn, but if her body knew things she hadn't been taught yet, that would be great!

Abby was happy the older girl didn't protest. Her brain was starting to go back to sleep after all. Arguing would be hard with sleepy-brain. Pulling the older girl along to her room. The little blonde was happy she had taken to keeping the extra bed in her room made. It helped remind her to change the sheets. Right now the spare bed had a dark blue sheet set on it. Her bed had a lilac set.
Abby hummed as she got into her bed. "Mkay. If you need me, you can wake me up. Morrow's a holiday," she explained before the sandman finished his job.

>>"Don't worry about the cost. You're worth every penny."
Abby looked at the register tally as it went up. The higher it went, the more uneasy about the shopping the little blonde became. "Are you sure?" It looked like a lot of money.
Then the clerk was asking for Maya's ID. Johnson... That was Cafas' name wasn't it? That would make sense since Cafas was the one to set the shopping trip up. But was she right? "Is that Cafas'?" she asked quietly.

"The doctor will see you now," a nurse called from the open door to the back of the clinic.
Abby looked up and followed the nurse to the scale. The nurse chattered at her about the weather and Utopia and all sorts of things that Abby only barely listened to. After being left in the exam room, she went back to her phone.
9:31 AM The nurses are very cheerful
9:32 AM Are there no records of the children going to the clinic? They would have to finance the tests somehow
Just as she hit send, the door to the room opened. It was an elderly man, looked older than Doc at least. He also reminded her of the tales of old men yelling at children to 'get off their lawn.' That is to say, he scared her a bit.
"Good morning, Miss Tiikeri. I'm Dr. Mortinson. I hear you've got some questions for us."
The little girl nodded. "I... Momma told me I couldn't come home until I could prove I was a good girl. They said I could come here to find out."

Abby just blinked at the older girl. Used to live here? The little blonde's mind worked slowly at the moment, but she eventually understood what the other girl meant.
"If you don' know, you can stay in my room. I don't have roommate." Another big yawn interrupted her. "You can find out in the morning if ya want." Without thinking further, because really, she was tired, Abby reached for the older girl's hand to show her to Abby's room.

Yawning, Abby made her way back to her room from Adder's. Another movie night had ended in cuddling. Again. But Abby had woken up due to her wolf friend's roommate. And couldn't get back to sleep. Her sleep-addled mind equated silence with empty room, so she was slowly making her way to her bedroom. Yawning and shuffling her feet to get her there. Something caught her eye and she looked around the hallway.
There was a girl. Older than Abby, surely. Rubbing her eyes, the little blonde looked again. The girl didn't look familiar. "Are you looking for a place to sleep?" she asked with a yawn.

Abby was getting ready to head to her next class when her phone went off. Strange. There weren't a whole lot of people who knew her number. Her uncle wouldn't text her during the day, he worked.
Agent Tiger report to 564 Henning Ave no later than 9:30AM. Say "I am here for my appointment with Dr. Mortinson."
And then another buzzed.
Probably is best you do not bring gun. Probably this will tell them you are fake child.
What? Abby paused in the hallway and thought through what Panu had texted her. Agent Tiger was the name he used when they first met and then they did a thing with a cult-like group and... She wondered if she should ignore the second and get a gun anyway. Though... where would she get one from?
8:48 AM Why? Whats there?
She waited five minutes before sighing and just going with it. She could afford to miss a day at school. At least she didn't have a test today. That would've been fun to explain. She was dressed for the drafty indoors but outside was cold enough for her to not look strange. Henning Ave wasn't too far. About a twenty, twenty-five minute walk from the school if she remembered right.
The building looked nice enough. Church of Humanity Wellness Clinic. That seemed okay too. But the last time she followed Panu when he called her Tiger...
9:15 AM I expect this to end in ice cream like last time
9:16 AM I'm here now. Going in.
There. He at least knew where she was. At the very least if something happened to her there would be records due to her phone. The little blonde let the small family go ahead of her. The little girl was cute. The parents ignored her completely.
Abby stood off to the side to watch. She kept her phone out to look busy. People tended to ignore teenagers when they had their phones out.
9:18 AM Child younger than you in front of me. Parents do not look pleased. (1 Attachment)
Abby hoped the picture of the little girl would help. The last time they had been looking for information. So the more she gave Panu, the better it would probably be.
"Can I help you, young lady?" the receptionist asked. She looked nice. This whole place looked nice. For whatever reason, Abby's instincts were telling her to Get Out Now.
Abby looked up from her phone with a final deep breath. "I am here for my appointment with Dr. Mortinson," she recited. The receptionist nodded and made a few motions on her keyboard.

>>"Won't be so good unless you plan on stayin' dry. It'll probably suck up water like crazy."
Huh. Well that put push-up out of her mind. She never knew when she would go swimming after all. And changing her bra just to do that seemed silly.
Taking a look at the items the lady had in her hand caused a grimace to pull on the little blonde's face. Ignoring what the lady had, she took to looking through the racks. She liked the last type of style the lady had grabbed. It looked like a small tank top thing.
"Do you see any blue tank top things?" she asked Isabel, pulling a light grey regular looking one with bright green... lace? covering most of the.. part that holds her chest. It looked pretty and it was in her size.
>>"Have you found what you need, Miss Abbigail?"
The little mutant glanced at Maya and pulled another of the regular looking bras out, this time in a peach like color that kinda matched her skin. "I think so. Did you... find anything for you?"

>>"Could you say the war of 1812 one more time, please? I don't think it got said enough in that sentence right there."
Abby pouted at the green man. She wasn't sure if he was teasing or making fun of her. Probably teasing but she was never really sure.
Then they were talking about names and hundred years that were more than a hundred years and names and... Shakespeare? That made her think back to the Montague/Capulet war she and some other students had in the library. That had been fun.
"Wax poetic?" she wondered. "Why would people 'wax poetic' about war? People die." There were a lot of things that didn't make sense to Abby. Luckily, she had two people who could give her two different answers, which was actually kind of nice.

Taking a look at the housing options, Abby wondered about those like her. If she went to Utopia, she would probably be going alone. Would she get a place by herself? Probably not at the beginning, but maybe. "What about the different family sizes? I know I'd probably have like, a one-bedroom apartment. But what about larger families?" She didn't know of any true mutant families, but she could hope. And if this was to be a nation, they would grow. "Is there going to be a system for requesting larger living spaces?"
>>“I do not know much about recreation plans. At first is too much work for everyone, not much time for waste time. There is library and maker space and internet-of-course. I know there are dog sleds and hiking and boat-things and much exploring, but those are work. Is recreation a problem?”
The little blonde frowned. Was recreation a problem? Probably not at first, when everyone was focused on working to make Utopia run smoothly. But after?
"There's a reason most work places have weekends off. People need to rest and re-energize themselves. I think one of the easiest way is for people to have fun. Recreation areas and times set aside for recreation would give people a chance to breathe instead of just go-go-go. Like..." What kind of activities did people do? Abby read and watched movies and cooked and... Okay so she had plenty of ideas. "I bake when I get frustrated. And when I need a quiet hour or two, I read a fiction book. Others like to play, like at the playground we met at? I'm sure adults have other things they do too."

Abby looked between the two adults in the room. They kinda reminded her of Mommy and Daddy. Huh...
>>”No worries. I was slee- doing paper work. I hate paperwork.”
Well that was encouraging for her. The pile of papers on his desk definitely looked like they could use some help. Then Sam would probably have more time to relax. He looked tired. If he didn't want her to help, she would have to remember to tell Serena so she could do something.
Abby followed Juliette in and stayed standing by her side. She knew she would be fidgeting if she sat down. Standing allowed her more room for movement. Though it also let her run easier. No, bad Abby. No running from Sam.
>>“Well, paperwork is actually one of the reasons for Abby wanting to speak to you."
Deep breathe. "I was hoping I could," she paused. How do you phrase a request for a job that technically didn't seem to exist? "IwashopingIcouldworkforyouandhelpwithyourpaperwork, like a job." After getting her words out, fast and probably not very understandable until the end. Green eyes held shut with the best of her ability being used to not scrunch up her face.

The bang from inside the office had Abby taking half a step back. It was probably a bad time to ask. But before she could say anything to Juliette, the woman opened the door.
>>"Hey Sam, Abby has something to ask you, but... Is this an alright time?"
"We- I can come back," Abby stated. She didn't know when she would return to ask but she would. Probably drag Serena with her but she would.
Though his office did look like it could use some organization. She wondered what all the different topics for the paperwork there were. School things and X-Men things probably. Would she be able to help with the X-Men things? Or would that be something she wouldn't be allowed to see? School things could probably be set in places like administration, classes, students, and living. If that was the kind of paperwork Sam got. She should probably not make plans until he let her help.
