The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Quick note to Orderlings regarding Lori/the initial Council formation, to get everyone on the same IC page:
From the Order's perspective, Lori will just stop coming to work one day. Soon after, her Co-Leader Lenna will organize the Council into being, and the new structure will take over (that's currently happening on screen, in Order in Everything, for those interested.)
Whether that transition is rough or smooth is up to the new Council... and all how all you lovely Orderlings react to the transition. Likewise, whether Lori's disappearance seems suspicious, worrying, or doesn't even hit your character's radar is entirely up to you.
[/debriefing]
If you have questions, feel free to post here or shoot 'em to the Mod Mail.

SEYTA ALIC --- SEY
”Doesn't make us invisible, just unnoticed. Oh! I know what it’s like: it's like when you fancy someone and they don't even know you exist. That's what it's like." –Dr. Who
HISTORY Born in Salem MA, Seyta Alic was raised in the paranormal history of the place that gave people a general acceptance of the weird; Mutants being a noticeable part of that weird. She was in the crowd that thought being a mutant was actually cool, and being a violin player she hoped she was a mutant and that she could be a famous musician because of it. Entering college at nineteen on a music scholarship, she got her wish and it backfired. Her mutation brought her dreams crashing down. After dropping out of college she even had issues communicating in her family, so she made up her mind to move to New York City. A face in the crowd like everyone else. Despite living there for years even among the mutant community she has only just been found recently. Although if the cops ever checked her prints they would likely find several matches in shoplifting cases. Those who have met her though are more than welcoming and have brought Seyta into the fold of the Order.
POWERS Seyta Alic Seyta generates a psychic field that makes people not notice her. Anyone within 10 feet of her will still see, hear, feel, smell, or sense Seyta but unless they try to they won’t realize she is there. The process takes about five seconds and her power is constantly on. (For the Doctor Who fans: it something between a perception filter and the Silence.)
POSTS TO SEE:
Hi... It's me again. (solo) - Seyta’s ability is great for avoiding a bar tab, or getting a great new dress at a wonderful discount. But there are times when her power is a burden. In this thread you can see some of the hints of family tension through rules Seyta has meeting with other family members, a silent car ride with her mother, and the effect she has on her most beloved family member, her grandmother, who also has advanced Alzheimer’s.
Unexpected Blackmail - Here is where Seyta first encounters an adapted who brings Seyta to Lori Faust’s attention. Lori’s brilliant methods of persuasion then turn Seyta onto the path towards the Order.
Hide and seek isn't fun... - Although rather short this thread has a fun interaction between a Seyta (turned into a 12 yr old) and David (Sledge); with David remembering a date with the same girl some weeks ago and several years older.
[AoS]The Invisible Artist - The world has been destroyed, and with nothing better to do Seyta puts her mutation to work. She is fighting to the death for people’s amusement as a gladiator in Roach’s Pit. For Seyta, at least, winning these fights ends up with more benefits that just staying alive.

Added, Elementi!
For future reference, you'll probably be wanting to give sites your code in HTML form, not BBC; that would look like this (using your first button as an example):

Thank you to everyone who helped out by responding to the Guides Survey! Your input, especially the opinions and anecdotes some of you put in for the long responses, were very helpful in getting things spruced up. With any luck, these changes will make things more straight forward for new members and oldies alike.
With out any further ado, le changes!

Attribute Profile Guidelines
[/i] need a standard way of displaying Attribute Profiles in people's signatures. After looking around the boards to see what people are currently doing, we've picked three of the easiest and prettiest methods, and made them official. If you use Attribute Profiles, please make sure you're linking to yours in one of these three ways (if you aren't, you'll probably receive a nudging PM sometime in the coming weeks to remind you to switch over to the new way of displaying).
From the Fall of 2018 to the Spring of 2019, our characters met old friends, forged new alliances across countries and continents, and faced the aftermath of a world in which the Haywire virus had claimed millions of lives—human and mutant, both. They lived.
Put yourself in their places when, on a June morning in 2009, they awoke to find that the past ten years—the future ten years—had been nothing but a dream. Hard won scars of mind and body were gone; lovers were on the other side of the globe; children had never been born.
There was no Haywire outbreak. There was no mutant rebellion in Australia; no safe refugee in Antarctica. The Gulf Stream was just fine, and no white-haired elementals were losing themselves trying to fix it. There was no World War III. There was only this.
Fragmented memories and feelings, spread far and wide.
Vials of undeveloped Haywire sitting in King Pharmaceuticals.
Welcome to the present, where it’s time to end what never began, for the good of the people we’ll never be. The future is in our hands. It’s worth fighting for.
For a listing of Future Plot threads by character, look here. Future Plot NPC profiles are here. During the Future Plot, MRO had a Fourth Faction. The following is a reposted from the Newb Guide to the Factions. Requiescat in pace, PAX.
(name unavailable)
Founded IC on Christmas Eve, 2007. Allegiance: The lightest shade of gray. No base of which to speak. Unless your character has heard of this group IC, they will not know about them. To join, RP in keeping with their philosophies. They will contact you. Membership in another faction is no bar to joining.
Sickened by the violence prevalent in the X-Men, the Order, the Kabal, and the world, this group came together under the leadership of Katrina Dumonde and Caleb "Slate" Swartz. Its members strive to influence the world through the traffic of information rather than through violent means. If pressed into a fight, they will seek to creatively side-step the situation so that their actions cause damage in the lightest shade of gray. They do not claim to be either good, evil, or neutral: they are what they are. If your character is nonviolent in action as well as intention, it is likely that the members of this group will contact you. How they operate is not a matter for public concern.

Hogwarts, that is way too big for an affiliate banner. Banners must be 88 pixels wide x 31 pixels tall. If you can get us a smaller image, I'll put it up.
