Darius leant off the doorway where he had been resting against listening to his fellow resisdents problems "Sorry to interupt your deep and meanful converstations, but Raph I never would have picked you as a killer, hang on how many people in this room have killed?" he said shaking his head. Doesn't anyone have the pleasure of leading a normal life anymore he thought to himself.
"This whole room is very depressing right now" he said looking at all of them and remembered that he hadn't introduced himself to Eaen and thought it would be a good change of subject "Oh sorry there, Eaen is it, names Darius Spears nice to meet you my friend, so whats this business about a car, planning a road trip without me??" he said as he shook Eaens hand and waited for a reply
Darius nodded to Tricitys question "Everyone here is so helpful its hard not to find what I need, all I ever need to do is just ask, I'm really glad Layla and Raph convinced me to stay cause I would hate to be out on the streets like I and so many others used to, it makes me feel kinda sad to know that there are still so many mutants out there that are scared and alone it just makes me want to go out and bring them all here, but due to securtity reasons I know that isn't possible, I mean sure I haven't seen any of these evil mutants but I sure have heard of them, sorry I'm talking to much aren't I Star, I almost forgot the movie was on" he said directing his attention back towards the televison but the images of lost and homeless mutants still clouded his mind.
Darius waved and greeted Iara when she entered the room and began to converse with Deathstar about the movie futher. Everything seems right here he kept thinking to himself. Everyone has seemed to find their place and there's more students enrolling all the time I don't see why so many mutants I met before I came here warned me of the troubles the Institute faces he thought as he sipped his coco with one hand and kept his hand that was expelling light close to Deathstar. Tricity now made an enterance to the room and Darius quickly extinguished his light as she began to speak to Iara.
Darius still didn't know Tricity and as her being Headmistress he wouldn't know how she would react to him using his powers indoors, Darius has had many a bad experince with different Highschool principals and though he would play it safe with Tricity. Although he did get a feel as she was just like all the students here mainly because she didn't look much older than himself.
"Tommorrow? whats happenening tomorrow?" Darius said looking to Deathstar and then back to Eaen. I don't remember Star talking about going anywhere tomorrow I've got to get myself included "Hey you can't just leave me here, theres absolutly nothing going on right now and the mention of something going wrong has got me all interested, hang on wait this Raphael's thing right? You guys gotta clue me in I've been dying to have an excuse to get out for awhile" Darius said getting almost excited with thoughts of the four of them coming together as a team of sorts.
Darius felt at ease having Deathstar near him and when she commented on it being cold he lifted his right hand which began to glow softly. Darius then place his hand on Deathstars lap palm up. The gently glow was warming and not hard on the eyes ether Darius hoped that it would warm her up at bit. "That any better" he said turning his head to her.
Darius laughed a little at Eaen mucking around with Layla before taking a sip of his own hot chocolate and placing it down on a near by coaster. She looks really good today he thought to himself not daring to ever speak his thoughts and decide he would take his old seat back on the couch between Layla and Eaen. "This couch is way more comfortable" he said trying to justify his move and to hide his want to be closer to someone.
"Here we go" said Darius coming in with a tray of hot chocolate made to the request of the students of the room and began to hand them out to the younger students before heading towards Layla and Eaen. "Sorry guys I didn't quite hear you on the way out so I took the liberty of making them for ya hope you enjoy" he said as he past them both a hot chocolate each and took a seat on an armchair angled towards the T.V and his two friends. "Oh House of Wax this is a good one, Hiltons death scen is great oh sorry you guys haven't seen it have opps" he said laughing slighty before getting comfortable.
Darius laughed "Well it sounds like you guys enjoy the class so I guess I'll head up there next time, but don't worry Eaen I usually enjoy having a little extra work to take up some of my time" he said smiling as he stood up "Hey I'm feeling like a hot chocolate anyone else" he said as he took orders from other students in the room and waited for Layla and Eaen before heading for the kitchen "Just stay there you two I'll be back in a flash" he said leaving the room
"Neat well we should try and see Tricity together I'll be going there later on today I'll probly end up seeing you there, oh and the classes you talked about they all seem really interesting I think I'll start myself with World Religions to get the ball rolling" he said looking directly at Eaen as he still felt slightly awkward with Deathstar not that he didn't like it, he just wasn't use to it. Suddenly Darius noticed something different in Eaen when he was watching him as he was sitting there but it was his eyes that were different it seemed like he was almost conversing with someone else even as they he was talking to others. Darius quickly blew it of and picked up the remote of the table and began to surf through the different channels. Slowly feeling more relaxed around Deathstar.
Darius was suprised to find Deathstar leaning back on him, and as he found her looking at him he suddenly felt uncomfortable because he didn't know how to react properly as he had never rally been in the situation before which was strange for a twenty one year old but he had lead a life of solitude before coming here. "Ah so..oh yeah Tricity, I stopped by her room awhile ago but she wasn't in, don't worry though I'll make sure catch her, I still feel awfully rude you see for not getting her offical word on staying and all but I suppose Raph's is good enough for the time being, I'm mean he seems to be pretty high in the rankls here at the institute" he said trying to act as natural as possible.
"Hadn't even thought about it yet, I'll have to ask Tricity to see what I might be interested in but if you two have any recommendations I'd be glad to listen" he replied to Eaen whilst subconsensly putting his arm around the back of the couch which just so happend to be where Deathstar was sitting. "Well I suppose it's a good thing there have been no drama's lately I just thought with the amount of mutants all stuck together here something would be bound to happen eventually, so anyway whats this World Religions Class you were both talking about earlier sounds interesting" he said taking his feet of the table and turning around to them both.
Darius streached as he entered the room and smiled to see two familiar faces laughing and enjoying themselves. "Hey guys" he said walking up behind Layla and Eaen patting them on the shoulders. "I'm stuffed all that exercise as got me exausted" he said throwing himself onto the same couch as Layla and Eaen which in the process a few stray feathers blew out and drifted down towards the ground. "So whats been happening missed any important dramas at all" Darius finished resting his feet on the table infront.

Darius grabbed Jaine's hand and led her down the hall "I'll be back soon" he yelled as he took of down the hall. They rushed around the corner Darius could see that Jaine was getting more and more frightened and worried "We'll be there soon don't worry" he said to her as they turned more corners before reaching the living room door.
Darius opened it slightly and had a look inside, it was safe "Ok stay here for now you'll be safe ok we'll come back for you once we have Millie" Darius said noticing she was still worried "I promise we'll be back soon now make sure the door stays shut" he said while exiting and closing the door behind him. Darius gave one strong flap of his wings and zipped down the hallway to Deathstar. "Shes safe any sign of Millie" Darius said as he came to a stop next to Layla and Jonathan.
"Now why couldn't you have X-ray vision" he said jokingly but the look on Laylas face got him back on track. They had to find her and fast, the intruder could be anywhere near them now and Darius had no idea what they were up against. Ive got to find Millie fast so I can get Layla to safety aswell, theres no way I'm gonna leave her behind he thought to himself. "Skoliro and Eaen must be out or already in the Danger Room, Is there any possiblity Millie could be with them or another group of mutants?" Darius said as he franticly open and closed the bedroom doors along the hallway, it looked like Millie would be last one to find and unfortunatly the most defenceless especially if she was still asleep, all he could really do was continue to search and hope that she was already downstairs.
