Darius was really moved by everything she was saying and as Deathstar continued to talk he saw a tiny tear in the corner of her eye form as she tryed to conceal it from him. Wow she has sure has a lot of internal torment, it must be hard protecting others by pushing them way he thought to himself as he listend to everything else she was had to say, after he noded to her request of going to breakfast and they both got up and headed for then door, Darius went and put back on his top shirt he then turned round and gave Star a hug suprising her. "Hey look your my first good friend here that means a lot to me and if you ever need to talk to me about anything just give me call ok, and oh hey just remember everyone needs have a good cry and let it all out sometimes, theres nothing weak about it" he said opening her bedroom door.
Darius was impressed by how much of the wallspace had been used there were posters and pictures everywhere. He plumped himself down on a bean bag and started to listen to Deathstar. She walked over a turn her stereo down and it was then she relised she was a little under dressed Darius let out a small laugh and a smile. "It's ok, everyone should feel comfortable in there own skin" he said as he removed his shirt leaving only his vest on he then reached behind him and plucked out a feather from one of the gaps in his back and walked over to Deathstar, it was a light grey brown colour with glising ivory whit highlights he took Deathstars hand and opened it leaving the feather in her palm.
Darius threw himself onto her bed and pushed the pillows up behind his neck he sat there for a second when suddenly something suprised him it was that the room carried a really nice smell, the kind of smell you would expect a real girly girls room to smell like not a rocker like Deathstar. There it is again, theres that other side showing, she just keeps on suprising me, now calm yourself stay natural, hurry up and answer her dam question aswell Darius thought to himself as he watch Star lean up against her bed post.
"Well im originally from New Zealand which I've lived in for the majority of my life, only for the past three months I've been in the states which I've found to be a lot more accepting of mutants than my home-town"[/b] he said shaking his head towards the end "And the X-men, wow I've heard so much about them and not just in the mutant community but through news stations and broadcasts, so yeah if I'm ever good enough heck yeah I'd join"[/b] He said picturing himself in a news artical with all the other X-men "Gosh see what you've done, you got me saying that i'll be staying and that I'll attempt to join the X-men eventually"[/b] Darius said laughing and gave Star a pat on the sholder. I've definalty found atleast one reason to stick around he thought to himself. "So Star what do you think of me so far X-men material" he said getting up on his knees and flexing his muscles.
Darius didn't have any idea where to find Deathstars room but started by walking to the girls side of the building. As he got further down the hall could here bass booming and the noise seemed to be a good place to start. Thats got to be her, who else would be that loud this early he thought.
As he approached the door where all the noise was coming from he could see a few band posters and a big sticker saying Deathstar. Darius laughed to himself Typical only knowen her for a day but the personality sure makes her easy to find he walked up and knocked on her door twice and tied his hair back while waiting for a response.
"Okay Skoliro I'll catch you round I've got some errands to run so rememeber give me a buzz sometime" he said as he looked around the room a few more time before walking towards the door. "Hey I know I've already told you this but your room definalty has the most charater out of all the rest, don't go changing it, its who you are." he said as he turn the handle and exited
Darius laughed and bit look around the room some more "Yeah the wings are complicated, I'll show you sometime if me and you ever get into trouble or hit the danger room" he said still look at objects all around the room and the various creatures that occupied it. "Hey well here my cell if you ever want to catch up and even just go for a fly it can get lonley up there can't it, well not as much for you" he said gave Skoliros a slip of paper while nodding his head in the direction of a number of bats hanging from the ceiling.
Darius bowed back to Skoliro "Darius Spears oh and if you wondering why I don't have any wing after I said I did its just because mine can be some what temporary its complicated you know well see I have these two slit on....sorry I'm rambling so how long have you been here at the mansion, by the look of this room its a life-time" he said jokingly as he moved around and admired the flora.
Darius heard a muffled voice from inside and the door seemed as though it opened almost by itself. As he entered he was blown away, the room looked like no other in the entire house. It was like a greenhouse almost he thought to himself as it felt as though the outside and inside had merged into one. As he stepped in the floor was damp and wet. Darius relised that the carpet was a thick layer of mud and all around him where plants and trees. This isn't naturally grown there is no way in this conditions especially with no sun he thought to himself as the cold thick air sent a chill down his spin Darius loved his sun and the lack of it in here wasn't a good start to his day. He couldn't see well but he could make out a large strange winged creature sitting cross-legged on a stump. This must be him Darius thought "Hel...Hello, Hey look im Darius and I was told by alot of mutants around here that your like me" he said suddenly think that himself and this other mutant only really seem to have one thing in common that being their wings. Darius waited for a reply from his strange host.
Darius approached the room of the other winged mutant of the institute he had heard abotu from Raphael. He had already ask lots of mutants around the school to Skoliro's where about which and believed that he had finally found the right room. Darius faced the door and was about to knock but hesitated as the room had an odd smell coming from it. Even so he knocked twice and wait for any kind of reply from inside.
Darius smiled "No, I have no futher questions I'd just like to that you for making me so welcome and at home" he said trying to finish quickly so the strange girl could have her talk with tricity. He gave Tricity a nod and turned and began to head for the exit, not before giving the wolf girl a friendly way. He slowly turn the handle thinking to himself This really is the place for then.
"No no its fine Raph talked me through it before" he said standing up and taking off his jacket. "Well my first mutation would be these!" he said as two wings shot out from his back which he extended to there fullest almost touching ether side of the room. "There really no harm to your students I have a very fast healing rate in my wings which I've learn't to control over the years pretty much giving me the freedom to used them when I want and lose them when they aren't nessary but that leads to alot of lose feathers so I won't be doing that in here" he smiled folding his wings back.
"My other mutation I don't fully understand yet but it has alot to do with the sun, I've been told you have a very skilled doctor here maybe he could enlighten me on how it all works but from what I've found I can use the suns energy as a weapon it can pretty much come out of anywhere of my body but I've learn't to control it from my eyes and from my hands" he said pointing his finger towards the ceiling while letting of a short glowing beam from his finger that brightened the room conciderably.
That also isn't a threat to anyone here, but truthly I don't know its limits yet and I'm not very hastey to find out as I've seen the effect it can have on the user, my Father you see...any way that a long story but I hope I've given you the right information you were looking for" he said streaching his wings slightly before taking a seat.
Darius smiled at the friendly Headmistriss as entered at took a seat on the soft leather sofa over to the side. It was strange to see the combination of both a bedroom and an office but it sure as an impressive room Darius thought as he made himself comfortable. "Oh right why I'm here, well first things first my name is Darius Spears and I have been staying here in your Institute for about a week now and I've came to make the stay offical, you see I orignally just was here to stay the night but Raphael one of your X-men convinced me other wise so what do you need to know about me Tricity." he said smiling whilst flicking through a guide he had been given by Raphael.
Darius approached the door that his new found friends told him was Tricity's the Headmistress there was already a strange looking girl waiting outside. He paused for a second before speaking as he suddenly felt that it was horribly rude for to not have visited Tricity earlier, it was only his second day here but he felt seen as he had been given a room that it would have only been fair that he would have come to have seen her soon. He shook his head and cleared his thoughts as he approached the strange girl "Uh hi I'm Darius are you waiting for Tricity too" he said find a nice spot to lean against while waiting.
Darius was making his way down the corridors quickly and as he sped around a corner he almost knock a girl off her feet, after apologising he continued down the hall. He stopped near the World Religions class for a second. As he looked through the glass he saw Layla also knowen as Deathstar, she was just sitting there playing with a pen in her hair listening to music, Darius smiled to himself he suddenly snapped out his day dream as he relised were he need to be.
Darius walked aross the hall to the art room and knocked twice before entering to see the room empty. As it turned out he was actually early it didn't look like any other students were there. "Hello anyone there, is this the right class for art " Darius spoke to himself hoping the teacher may be around the back. He stood in the doorway looking around the room while holding a case under his arm containing all his stationary, Guess know ones in he thought to himself as he closed the door and took off back down the hall.
Darius shook Raphaels hand with a smile and nod. "Any problems you just give me a call and trust me I can be there in literally a minute" he said as he wrote his cell number down on a small slip of paper and past in to Raphael who smiled and turned and left the room. Darius then walked over to Layla and put his hand on her shoulder and whispered in here ear "Hey I've got something really cool to show you I'll meet you out in the mansion grounds in five, is that ok?" he asked then taking an apple from a fruit bowl near by and took off out the room.
Darius smiled to see a a more happier face enter the room which woke him up from a day dream he had been having. He found it funny that again Deathstar let her tough exterior drop but this time to a little girl . Darius walked over in Raphs direction and leant on the table. "Look Raph about before I knew you weren't talking about a road trip, you got things from your past that need sorting out, hell I sure know were your coming from" he said to Raph shaking his head Does he really think im that stupid he thought. "Look I see myself as a friend of yours now and all I was trying to say was if you need a helping hand myn is yours" he finished walking over to the window to get some sun.
