The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Skoliro had just finished dropping the papers off by Tricity's door and was off to pick his room. He wasn't used to living indoors but he was going to try it. Now which hallway as the girls, and which the the boys? He went over and opened on of the doors. There was a scream. Girls side. He went over to the other hallway and went to one of the last doors. He opened it and look around. It was empty except for a bed. It would never do. He picked up the bed and threw it through the wall. That was much better. He flew out the hole and collected some soil. Spreading it over the floor Skoliro realized the plants would never grow fast enough. After he planted all the seeds he left to find a mutant who could help.
Skoliro returned with a mutant. The mutant had calmed he could make plants grow.
Well, work your magic.
Suddenly as the mutant lifted his arms all of the plants grew to there full strength.
Thanks much.
He shewed the man away and went back to work. He made a little pond and chopped down the huge tree in the middle. He then made the wood into smaller pieces and spread them throughout the room. They would rot and turn into food for the other plants. He looked over the room and let out a sigh. This would do just fine. Skoliro walked over and sat crossed legged on the stump looking out the hole in the wall. Then he started to meditate, and went to his own little world.
Skoliro came back into being. He had no idea how long he had been out of it but he felt great. He looked around, trying to figure were he was in the world. He sighed as he remembered. Glancing up at the only thing human he had left in the room, the clock, he saw that it was about 9:00pm. The sun had just gone down and the best creatures were starting to come out.He had been alone in this room for long enough, and needed some company. He called to some bats.Come, inhabit this forest. Bring your prey. Don't be afraid. Skoliro wondered if any one else in the house was even awake.

Skoliro had just flown back from Australia. He needed to meditate. He sat Indian-style on the stump and closed his eyes, immediately out of it. A few hours later when he awoke he decided to go explore the school a bit, maybe get into some trouble.
Skoliro made his way down the hallway to his room. Just returning from his kidnapping he had gone and a mutant had healed his wounds. But for some reason this had drained his energy immensely, even though he had feed three times in the same day. He entered his make shift room, feet dragging, only to find that the hole he had created in the wall had been replaced. Oh well, that would have to be dealt with later. Sitting on the stump, cross-legged, he positioned his hands and closed his tried eyes. Just like that everything around him vanished, and he was back home.
Darius approached the room of the other winged mutant of the institute he had heard abotu from Raphael. He had already ask lots of mutants around the school to Skoliro's where about which and believed that he had finally found the right room. Darius faced the door and was about to knock but hesitated as the room had an odd smell coming from it. Even so he knocked twice and wait for any kind of reply from inside.
Skoliro's trance was broken when two knocks on the door echoed through the room. It took just a little time for him to come fully back in contact with all of his mind, but when he did he summoned the inhabitance of the room. Go, open the door for our visitor.
Darius heard a muffled voice from inside and the door seemed as though it opened almost by itself. As he entered he was blown away, the room looked like no other in the entire house. It was like a greenhouse almost he thought to himself as it felt as though the outside and inside had merged into one. As he stepped in the floor was damp and wet. Darius relised that the carpet was a thick layer of mud and all around him where plants and trees. This isn't naturally grown there is no way in this conditions especially with no sun he thought to himself as the cold thick air sent a chill down his spin Darius loved his sun and the lack of it in here wasn't a good start to his day. He couldn't see well but he could make out a large strange winged creature sitting cross-legged on a stump. This must be him Darius thought "Hel...Hello, Hey look im Darius and I was told by alot of mutants around here that your like me" he said suddenly think that himself and this other mutant only really seem to have one thing in common that being their wings. Darius waited for a reply from his strange host.
Skoliro smiled, well, no mutant was quite like him, but from the images he reserved in the creature's points of view he was close. He opened one eye then closed it again, he had rested long enough in his opinion. Then he stood and stretched, body eager to be moving again. Approaching the man he bowed and then straighted stiffly.
Darius bowed back to Skoliro "Darius Spears oh and if you wondering why I don't have any wing after I said I did its just because mine can be some what temporary its complicated you know well see I have these two slit on....sorry I'm rambling so how long have you been here at the mansion, by the look of this room its a life-time" he said jokingly as he moved around and admired the flora.
Not even close. From what I remember probably a good month.
His voice had a slight tinge of a Brit, but he didn't mind right now. But he was slightly interested in Darius's wings, or the lack there of. But he was not one to pry, though.
Darius laughed and bit look around the room some more "Yeah the wings are complicated, I'll show you sometime if me and you ever get into trouble or hit the danger room" he said still look at objects all around the room and the various creatures that occupied it. "Hey well here my cell if you ever want to catch up and even just go for a fly it can get lonley up there can't it, well not as much for you" he said gave Skoliros a slip of paper while nodding his head in the direction of a number of bats hanging from the ceiling.
Skoliro took the slip of paper, and after looking over it he set it on his wooden throne.
Yeah, a suppose it could if you didn't have any flying friends.
At that a smaller bat landed on his shoulder, then crawled over and nuzzled his neck. He reached up and scratched it's tiny head and cooed gently to it, though Talon could probably only see his mouth move because he was making the noise at such a extreme pitch.
"Okay Skoliro I'll catch you round I've got some errands to run so rememeber give me a buzz sometime" he said as he looked around the room a few more time before walking towards the door. "Hey I know I've already told you this but your room definalty has the most charater out of all the rest, don't go changing it, its who you are." he said as he turn the handle and exited
*Following Skoliro mto the room he waited outside for skol to open the door. With a smirk on his face Keith knew there were other creatures and plants inside the bedroom before the door opened as he could feel their energies already.
At best a few potted plants and maybe two cats, that was the best he could figure as he hadnt quite gotten the hang of his sensing ability yet.
As SKoliro opened the door a large wide smile played across Keiths face as he saw the interior.*
I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!
*Seeing the little creatures fly around the room he couldnt help giggling a bit, the sight of the large plants growing from the carpet just made him smile wider. Not knowing how friendly these creatures were to strangers, Keith lifted a hand and held it out.*
*Though his night vision was nowhere as accurate as SKoliros, his ability to sense and manipulate energy made him aware of many bats in the room. Using some reserve energy he pooled it in his palm and created a sonic pulse similar in pitch to a hungry newborn, though low so as not to scare the inhabitants.*
*And rememebring suddenly he wasnt outside and these were pets of a sort turned to Skoliro* "They arent Vampyre bats, right???"

"Whoa..."
That's about all Iris could say when she followed the guys into Skoliro's room. It was like walking into a forest, of sorts. She glanced back outside just to be sure; Yes they were inside still. She bent down to feel the ground. Yep, it was dirt all right. She looked upward, turning in a circle as she did, trying to see everything at once.
"Wish I had your green thumb...." she remarked alound. She glanced oddly at Keith when he asked about the bats, then turned the look to Skoliro. She knew most of the myths about Vampire bats were just that: myths. But she'd been bitten by enough animals to know she'd rather not get bitten again if she could help it.
