Melissa parked her car and looked upon the Mansion. She had reservation's about what she was doing, but none of them were strong. She had come after hearing the place talked about in the bar. They taught Mutant control she had been told and she had always wanted away to turn her power's off, not for good, but long enough to not have to shower in saltwater or smell like she swam in Budweiser, or even wash her hand's for that matter.
She rang the buzzer and waited, having never delt with a system like it before, though she had seen enough cartoons in her younger days. She had no idea if anyone could get in or if you had to be invited or anything else about it. Melissa could see the wisdom of limiting access, if this was a school many of it's occupants were likely young which ahd been the other reason for avoiding the place. Kids and booze did not mix and she was booze in a sense and shared it's separation from kids.
She had heard many thing's about the place as well as that it seemed to have a dark sister somewhat closer to Shadow's Light, but it sounded like it was more homeless shelter then a way to help her learn control. "I wonder if they charge?" she asked herself, having only just now considered this as possible. If they could help her she would pay, the bar was doing better now/

His hand on her cheek sent a shiver of pleasure through her body. Her hands, crept further around nate, until her body was pressed against his. Looking into his eyes she lost herself for a moment until his voice broke her out of her trance. She considered his word's a moment had had to admit, it might not have been the best choice she could have made, seeing as she had met Nate only a handful of times and she was possibly taking advantage of the man's sorrow with his lost love.
As quickly as she considered the protests her hormones drowned them out beneath the thundering of her heart. "Maybe not, but i want to" she said softly as her hands slowly moved up his back. .
He clearly seemed to want this as well, why else would he have taken her on a lovely walk by the park then up to his apartment. "and i think you do to" she said as she moved to kiss him, her eyes closing and her fingers pressing firmly into his back.

Aura will be in on this of course. Aura will do basically anything asked of her by the order as well. Aura could participate in organizing protests and ensuring things get out of hand at the end.
I would also like to submit Melissa's bar as a site for a protest to take place at. Lot's of drunk minor Mutant npc's against a human group could be fun for order or x-men or both.

"I don't know,, i would imagine the police are investigating the incident, but im sure you can imagine how much faith in that many here have. " she said. Many she talked to thought they would up with very little being done at all about the Incident and Melissa could only hope they were wrong. "I don't understand the need for such violence on either side. We should all be able to get a long, but people are scared of what they cant understand" she said shaking her head sadly. Incidents were not helping the `we can live in harmony` idea at all.
"Last night i had two idiots nearly get in a fist fight over it" she said which was true except she was not entirely sure the one mutant could make a fist with his tendills.

"The cop's tried to stop her and she tried to run but once the subdued her they beat her pretty badly... it's all over the internet. You would think people would know better" she said shaking her head. It was a truly brutal video and one that was somewhat hard to miss online and even on various news programs.
"Mutant or not cop's should know how to conduct themselfs. She was a very visible mutant, maybe as much as yourself so i would be careful" she said keeping her voice lowered as to not attract to much attention. The last thing she needed was drunks reminded of that video.

SHe thought for a moment if their was anything else. She found nothing in particular and so shook her head. "Not, that i can think of, you should do great" she said honestly hoping the girl did well. Employees that did well were less stress and needed replacing less often.
"The rest is easier to understand once you get on the job. SO we will wait until then" she said, not mentioning that she never made liqueur at the bar itself, though a good amount of her own brew were stored there.
.Heres my number in case you need to call" she said, her entire staff hed her number but since she was usually here, they rarely needed it.

"It's been all over the web and View Tube, it was pretty bad" she said. Having seen the video it was hard to defend the police. She knew they were likely acting out of fear which was a shame in itself. "Police beat a mutant, the video is still on the web i believe" she said almost certain it was. She heard people talk about it all the time and about how tensions were rising between humans and Mutants from it.
"I do Whiskey pretty well" she said with a smile. Beer's were tougher for her as their was more in it and the achohol contents were much lower. Still she had never left a customer wanting and she was not about to now. She had not known that fact about czech's nor did she know if she had met someone from there other then the bird in front of her. Either way it was something interesting to try and remember.

"Yes by putting various ingredients into the water as i work i can alter the flavor, but the effect does not actually come from me at that point" she said. Her powers really only worked on the water itself but by adding in various things she could flavor it just as well as the stuff sold on the store shelves. She also took pride in her work making some of the booze the bar sold.
"Theirs always band aides behind the bar as well. I mention it because their is a very real chance of cutting yourself at this job, usually not to badly, but you mentioned what your blood can do" she said trying to be coutios with things. Their were sanitation issues as well but an acident would be higher risk here.

"I have no idea, but you see Mutant hate crimes commonly enough on the news. Ever since that Police brutality video, thing's seem to be heading south" she said shaking her head, not entirely sure why all the violence was needed, still talk in the bar had turned darker as of late and she only hoped it would not turn into anything much worse.
"Well i can make more then just wine, in fact if you would like to try one, i do have a few house brew's" she said with a smile. Her house brews tended to be strong but no one had complained yet about them. SHe enjoyed giving people tastes of her brews both becuse she was proud of work and because when they bought it it was pure profit, even the sales tax on the receipt was just to make it look legit.
Without FDA approval her special brews had to be kept on the low side and so most people just knew it as liquor she had gotten from out west, where she used to live. If he accepted she would take a bottle of tinted blue glass and pour a pair of shot glasses. "I hope it stays that way, the last thing i need is someone getting killed in my bar because some mutant or human chose to go a bit to far" she said more concerned with her bar then the actual Mutant rights debate. She did not understand why everything simply could not be talked out.

She briefly considered the idea that their was a mutant who could make these spiders out there. She decided not to dwell on such a thought. " Yea, even knowing he was here...." She said not sure how ready she was for a round two with the spider. Her thoughts on the Spider were dashed as she felt his hand slip down to her waist.
"It certainly is nice" she said though she never looked at the window, her eyes instead looking back at Nates grey eyes. Her mind screamed of caution but her heart quickly quashed such protests . She also had taken Nate's earlier check of her shoulder as something sensual, his proximity made her feel safe and not as lonely as she realized she herself was. Maybe she gotten to consumed with work.
She pressed closer to him. all the while keeping eye contact. As she moved closer her hand would slip further around Nate. "In fact i think's it's one of the best views i've seen" she said her voice soft. Gone were thoughts about the park or the veiw the apartment provided or about work, her heart keeping her mind to mucha puddile to consider much else.

She was quite releived when the large spider was gone from her shoulder. She did her best to calm down as the man disaplined the spider in a way that made it seem almost dog like. Her hand resting on her chest she looked down at the spider which while it looked smaller still seemed way to big. She had liked to think not to much would scare her but the spider certainly had. She was happier when the spider went away but she still glanced torward the ceiling a few times.
"Y-yea I'm ok..." she said though she looked around to check if their were any more of the giant spiders. She found the hand on her shoulder comforting though and with the spider no longer visable she felt her breath slowing and her heart starting to go just below what she felt was a loud pounding noise. "I'm sorry..I...He.it....." she said feeling a bit bad about screaming about the spider.
She looked up into his eyes a bitt meekly but much calmer then she had been even moments before. Nervously sweeping her hand through her hair. "He was bigger then i thought" she said, placing her free hand loosely on his waist, feeling safer near him. She was a bit embaressed she had screamed like that. She should have known the spider would live at his aprtment. WHy that fact had not came to her earlior she did not know.

Him taking her arm only cemented her idea's he meant for this to be romanetic. Him calling her lovely put a bright pink glow on her cheeks. She smiled determined to show him somthing special she could make. She had no idea what he had in the house drink wise but her mutation limited that issue and she could use various things to bring a nice flavor into the drinks. It felt nice being on his arm and she took his his apartment as they enterd it.
It was nice for a guys apartment, with a lived in feel. As they seperated she let her nails run down his arm making sure she touched his palm. Knowing on most people it was a sencetive area. "ALl right" she said happily.
So distracted was she, she did not notice the spider come down from the ceiling untill she felt a hairly leg on her neck. The color drained from her face as she saw it out of the courner of her eyes, and she let out a loud scream of suprise and freight, she swatted at it to try and get it off of her, unsure how well she would move it.
The spider seemed much bigger in reality then she had imagined and the fact it was on her did not help at all. The spider unmoved by her feebile attempt to swat it was carried with her as she ran into the bedroom after nate, paniced.

She assumed their was some benifit to having such a spider arround but she had trouble thinking of it. " Well's that's good" she said happier it did not seem to eat live food. She was pretty sure she would never want to see the spider. She did not have a fear of spiders but she had form ideas on just how big such things should be.
Then he asked her if she would like to see the veiw from his apartment and she blushed slightly at where his word's might be leading. She smiled shyly and out of reflex twirled a few locks of her hair. She felt like a school girl and tried her best to avoid being sweapy up by her dashing freind.
"S-Sure! I would l-love to" she said leaning in a bit closer to him, taking his actions to mean a bit more then they might have been intended. The night in her eyes was going well, and was more exciting then she thought. He was good looking and seemed to have a kind heart and she was hoping she was not letting herself get sweapt up to fast, but the thought quickly left her mind.
The idea going to his house meant meeting the giant spider never enterd her mind at all. "Maybe i can show you a few drinks'" she said Suddenly wishing she had worn somthing nicer tonight.

"I see, That must be intresting way to see the world. " she said of his abillity to fly. She had wnated to be able to fly when she was younger. "You were lead correctly, Almost everyone who comes here is a mutant and yes me and the staff are mutants as well." she went on with a smile. No one had a power to noteable and certainly nothing that would save them from a rampageing mutant with a strong mutation.
She looked around and certain no onee was paying them to much attention went on She did not want her actual power to be widely known in the bar, as police might realize what she was doing with her power. " Since you answerd my question i'll tell you, I can turn water into wine" she said her voice kept low.
"I built this place for our people so we would have a place where no one cared what nature delt you. Even anti-mutant groups no better then to try and do anything near this place." she said. They had had very littile trouble from such people mostly she assumed becuse even they knew it would be terribly dangerous.
