The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Fade smiled in frustration, it was more of a crazed smile and she closed her eyes and looked down. When her now red eyes opened, she stopped smiling and her teeth clenched. "You obviously don't know how we do stuff 'round here, do ya? We use manners. They're pretty common now-a-days, you should get some. Now we have been waiting longer than you, so move...please." The please part sounded as if it was forced out, as she did not wish to show this girl any kindness, something told her to still be nice and not loose it, even though she wanted to rip the girl's hair out.
Fade's eyes squinted into a glare as the annoying kitchen girl came bursting in to ruin her day, yet again. She was about to retort and start yelling at the girl when Tricity came to the rescue and her face turned to meet with the headmistress's, taking her focus off of the annoying girl, even though she was standing right between her and Raph.
"Raph and I just wanted to talk to you about some stuff we're interested in being part of." She shrugged. If this girl was going to burst forth and have a 'private' conversation with Tricity, Fade was going to say what she needed to first and that was all there was to it. She wasn't going to let some stuck up punk take waste her time when she should be trying to become an X-Man with Raph, like they had talked about.
Jenny smiled as she saw him approach. At first, she didn't recognize him, in new clothes and with that new hair, but she liked it and continued to glance back at it. She too had changed, but it was more of a switch, now she was wearing sweatpants, they were cut and tattered at the bottom, but they were comfortable. A plain black shirt matched her black sweatpants and her hair had been pulled back, but some was hanging out near her eyes. His lips were warm against her forehead and she couldn't help but feel a tingling sensation when he gave her a peck.
"Not too long, only like 3 hours." She replied with a smiled as he draped his arm around her. Fade welcomed his arm as she grabbed his hand with hers and waited for the door to open to see about this 'becoming-an-X-Men' ordeal.
Fade couldn't help but smile when Deathstar turned into the girl that Fade hated before they actually talked. It was easy to see why the other mutants don't really like her, but since Fade and Deathstar had a bit more in common than what she used to think, the two of them were much more compatible. The major difference was that Deathstar's attitude could come out unprovoked whereas Fade needed motivation to become rude or mean. "Fire, very cool. Fire has always looked beautiful to me, I guess it's because something so beautiful can be so destructive and that's why it intrigues me." She smiled, newcomers. What kind of X-Man would she be if she didn't welcome them?
"Well, seeing that my 'significant other' has already introduced me, I'll just say that only him and Tricity call me Jenny. Everyone else calls me Fade." She wasn't going to snap or anything, it wouldn't make her angry if others called her Jenny, she just prefered Fade. Fade was accustomed to talking to Jenny as if she was the some-what dumber version of Fade and she blamed 'Jenny' for anything wrong that Fade did.
She looked up at Raph and shrugged her shoulders. "Nothing really jumped into my mind. Why? Did you want me to think of something?" Now she was playing tag with his mind. Typical little Fade, never wanting to answer questions flat out.
Fade nodded in understanding and watched as he greeted Deathstar. At the getting action, Fade had to keep herself from laughing. Guess that's what it's called, huh? The look on Raph's face, however, caused her to let a little chuckle escape. She covered it up by holding her mouth shut until she had calmed down. "No, I'm not sure what this 'action' is, but I don't think we've done it...?"
"He's on the move because he's in shape." She moved over to his arm and lifted it, showing off his muscles. "See, muscles definately come in handly in most states. He's just prepared." She joked to Deathstar before letting Raph have free reign of his arm again like he should have had in the first place.
Well, I've been glued to the TV, but she's been plotting my downfall." She joked before looking over his wardrobe. "Yes, I can see that you went jogging some. I could never understand why people ran for fun, I did enough running while escaping or stealing, but never just to jog."
"Yeah, who knew people were vulnerable while not paying attention?" She joked before grabbing Deathstar's hand and standing up, rubbing her knees in a slight wince of pain. "Not much, just recapping my day." She said before hearing a familiar voice. Her head snapped in the general direction of his voice and she looked at Raph with a smile before running forward and throwing her arms around him right before planting a quick kiss on his lips.
"Where have you been, soldier?" She asked. "Nothing on the TV, just some odd commercials for the older and sexually challenged, usual stuff."
The completely oblivious Fade had found a knot in her hair-twirling routine and was attempting to fix it when Deathstar had popped out of no where and scared her. A sudden jolt of invisibility shot over Fade and went away as fast as it had come as she jumped out of her seat, she wasn't able to land on her feet, so she crashed to the ground, feeling her cheek hit the small rug under her and hearing her knees hit the wood under the rug much harder than she felt it as.
As she lay there, facing under the couch, she breathed heavily and began to laugh as she recognized Deathstar's laugh. "I hate you." Was all she was able to choke out of all of her laughing. She didn't really mean she hated Deathstar, just, ouch, her knees. She pulled herself up on her knees and felt her racing heart while attempting to stop laughing.
Fade sat on the couch, her leg comfortably lifted up onto the couch while the other lay on the ground. She was quite sprawled out. Also, to add onto her awkward appearance, she was twirling her red hair. She wore simple jeans and a black, V-neck shirt. Her new Boondock Saints wristband had claimed it's place on her left wrist and she rubbed her mood necklace with her free hand.
Her eyes were facing the television, but her mind was elsewhere. Where it was, no clue, she was gently pulling apart the events of her day and piecing them back together in an odd spiderwebby way. Waiting for something to snap her out of her trance. Finally, it came, an odd commercial about pills that older men could take to 'boost' their relationships. It made her laugh until it went away and a boring car commercial replaced it, back to her spiderweb.
Her currently white eyes looked down at her shirt as a frown skittered across her face. She didn't get all of the hairs off, and it looked as though she couldn't until she got a lent brush to do it for her. "Yeah, guess I do need a new shirt." She smiled before looking back at him, her eyes now lavender.
However, she couldn't help herself but to think, if she had hair on her shirt, wouldn't it be on her pants and shoes now? So, even though she knew she wasn't going to enjoy the outcome, she glanced down at her pants and shoes and sure enough, they too were covered in his hair.
"Great, might as well have a battle with a lent roller..." She muttered before she looked up, "...nah, I'll do that later, I'll just change into like, new everything." She sighed. "Have fun in the shower, but not too much fun, I might worry for you." She snickered, something she had heard years ago and had found it funny ever since.
((Shall we go talk to Tricity about becoming X-Men?))
Fade's face squished as she looked over his hair again, debating on whether there was anything else she could do to it. Ah, she found it and her face went to her relaxed form as she began to play with his hair, sticking it every which way, yet at the same time, not over-doing it. As she ran her fingers through his hair for last second touches, she smiled, that was fun.
She pulled her hand away, beaming with pride, she cut his hair nicely. "I like it, it's hott. Then again, it's your hair." With that she looked down at her shirt and back at him before taking a double take at her shirt, not only was it slightly wet, but it was hairy. "Gah..." She muttered before she began rapidly smacking her shirt until she had gotten rid of as many hairs as she could see.
After accomplishing this, she looked back at him, smiled and nodded before grabbing his hand and leading him inside. Once they made it indoors, she threw herself around his cold body and immediately regretted hugging a cold, wet Raph, only for the first few seconds until the impact of the cold had done it's worst. "You're freezing!"
A smirk skittered across her face and she pulled away from his wet body, left with wet marks over her shirt. However, she reached for the scissors and ran her fingers through his wet hair before she cut the first piece, it was only about half cut because she did not wish to mess up, so she wasn't going to rush, or at least not too much so that he got his hair done nicely but did not freeze.
After quite a few cuts, she managed to cut his hair half-shorter and she began to cut even more until it was long enough to spike up but not just lay flat and drape over his ears. It was an interesting haircut-one of the messy yet at the same time hot kind of haircuts and she was proud that she cut his hair so well.
"All done!" She smiled before she looked down and found his hair all over her clothes.
((Again, I am so sorry for being so busy and for this post being so short, next one will be good, I promise))
Fade followed him, just giving small smiles whenever he made a comment until he lead her outside and, well, to her luck, stripped off his shirt. She couldn't help herself, she stared, but only for a moment, until he drenched his head and now presented a shirt-less wet Raph. Yet she blinked a few times and snapped back to it with a laugh.
"God you don't have to strip, it's not very warm out here." She chuckled as she moved towards him and wrapped her arms around his presently-getting-colder-by-the-minute body. "You sure you want me to release my creative side?" She asked with a smirk as she laid her head on his shoulder and looked him in the eyes.
She was still feeling a little proud of her poetic statement when he spoke again. "Yeah, control." She huffed as if she had little of it, which was a little bit of an understatement. "Option A it is." She smiled, quickly adverting her thoughts away from that stupid new kid and thinking about how to cut his hair. "I guess we could just run your hair under some water, never used a squirtbottle before."
When he kissed her again, she just couldn't help but feel better, Deathstar had been nearly wiped clean off of her mind when he did that and she felt better, more in focus, yet at the same time, less focused because now she was thinking about him instead of his hair. "Pave the way, I dunno where we're going."
