The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Fade sat on the couch, her leg comfortably lifted up onto the couch while the other lay on the ground. She was quite sprawled out. Also, to add onto her awkward appearance, she was twirling her red hair. She wore simple jeans and a black, V-neck shirt. Her new Boondock Saints wristband had claimed it's place on her left wrist and she rubbed her mood necklace with her free hand.
Her eyes were facing the television, but her mind was elsewhere. Where it was, no clue, she was gently pulling apart the events of her day and piecing them back together in an odd spiderwebby way. Waiting for something to snap her out of her trance. Finally, it came, an odd commercial about pills that older men could take to 'boost' their relationships. It made her laugh until it went away and a boring car commercial replaced it, back to her spiderweb.
Deathstar notices Fade awkwardly silent while watching the television, she decided she will walk up on her and scare her a little to get a good laugh. She quietly walked up on Fade from behind the sofa, twirling her hair, she had no clue she was behind her."FADE LOOKOUT!" she yelled out into the silent room, she layed on the couch laughing hysterically
The completely oblivious Fade had found a knot in her hair-twirling routine and was attempting to fix it when Deathstar had popped out of no where and scared her. A sudden jolt of invisibility shot over Fade and went away as fast as it had come as she jumped out of her seat, she wasn't able to land on her feet, so she crashed to the ground, feeling her cheek hit the small rug under her and hearing her knees hit the wood under the rug much harder than she felt it as.
As she lay there, facing under the couch, she breathed heavily and began to laugh as she recognized Deathstar's laugh. "I hate you." Was all she was able to choke out of all of her laughing. She didn't really mean she hated Deathstar, just, ouch, her knees. She pulled herself up on her knees and felt her racing heart while attempting to stop laughing.
"You are quite vulnerable while watching television", she says while wiping tears of laughter from her laugh. Deathstar extended her hand so she can help lift Fade from the floor, "What were you thinking about?" she says as she sits back on the couch, one leg bent on the sofa and the other on the floor. She wore a pink fish net top with a black tank top underneath, and a black and pink plaid min-skirt.
"Did you talk to Raph lately?" still giggling from Fade's shock, she tries to get serious for a monent.
"Did I hear the mention of my name?" Raphael appeared in the door way in jogging shorts and a t-shirt with a prominent sweat ring. He had not had much intention to go anywhere but his room to cool off and change, but hearing Fade's voice and Deathstar's inquiry about him changed that. He leaned against the doorframe and wiped sweat from his brow. "Anything interesting on the tube?"
"Yeah, who knew people were vulnerable while not paying attention?" She joked before grabbing Deathstar's hand and standing up, rubbing her knees in a slight wince of pain. "Not much, just recapping my day." She said before hearing a familiar voice. Her head snapped in the general direction of his voice and she looked at Raph with a smile before running forward and throwing her arms around him right before planting a quick kiss on his lips.
"Where have you been, soldier?" She asked. "Nothing on the TV, just some odd commercials for the older and sexually challenged, usual stuff."
"Older and sexually challenged eh?" Raphael smiled at the quick kiss she had laid on his lips. "Most recently? Jogging. How about you two? T.V. the entire afternoon?"
Well, I've been glued to the TV, but she's been plotting my downfall." She joked before looking over his wardrobe. "Yes, I can see that you went jogging some. I could never understand why people ran for fun, I did enough running while escaping or stealing, but never just to jog."
Deathstar sat in silence as Raph enters the room , she didn't forget what happened outside by the lake. "Hey Raph!, I had to spook her , I couldn't resist" she says as stands and greets Raph with a firm handshake. "T.V is all action we're been getting around here lately besides you two" Deathstars turns around immediately to avoid laughing in Fade's and Raph face, it was a sick joke and she hoped the both of them will find humor inside Deathstar's twisted joke. "Just kidding!, When do you ever relax Raph, your always on the move" she asks while looking at his outfit.
"I jog to keep in shape... I lift weights and practice forms and stances and kicks and sparring for the same reason," Raph explained. He nods to Deathstar, shaking her hand as she extended it to him. "Evening Deathstar." He looked from her to Fade after Deathstar's comment on getting some action.
"Uh no... no, we haven't..." He shook his head, looking to see Fade's reaction to the comment. He was obviously taking it a whee bit too serious, given Deathstar's next comment.
Fade nodded in understanding and watched as he greeted Deathstar. At the getting action, Fade had to keep herself from laughing. Guess that's what it's called, huh? The look on Raph's face, however, caused her to let a little chuckle escape. She covered it up by holding her mouth shut until she had calmed down. "No, I'm not sure what this 'action' is, but I don't think we've done it...?"
"He's on the move because he's in shape." She moved over to his arm and lifted it, showing off his muscles. "See, muscles definately come in handly in most states. He's just prepared." She joked to Deathstar before letting Raph have free reign of his arm again like he should have had in the first place.
Deathstar laughs at Fade joking about Raph's muscles, "Check out my gunns!" she raises her arms, flexing them at the two, "I worked hard to get these" she says while holding her breathe.
"So whats going on today, do you two have anything planned"

Ali had been walking around exploring the mansion when she found the living room. It was nicely arranged with lots of comfortable chairs and a couple couches. There were a few people already in there having a conversation.
The fiery redhead slowly walked closer as she didn't want to interrupt and when a break in the conversaion presented itself she decided to introduce herself.
"Hello, My name is Alithana Ravalynn but you can call me Ali for short. I just arrived here after enrolling to attend. Have you all been here long?"
Raphael let his arm be lifted and displayed like a trophy by Fade. He likely could have easily stopped her, but... well, he did not mind being displayed, and his strength and agility were something he was quite proud of. He merely smiled along at her description of why he chose to work out regularly. He then watched Deathstar mimic what Fade had done for him, as he draped the arm Fade had lifted around her shoulders. To her, he might have felt like he was burning up, and still had a bit of a slick shine of sweat on anywhere that was bare.
"Dunno quite yet, I need to go change and cool off, though possibly not in that order. Did you have something in mind Jenny?"
Raphael watched Fade for her response, then turned his head towards the newcomer who introduced herself. "Nice to meet you Ali, I'm Raphael Sevresch, this is Jenny" he made an obvious, yet gentle, squeeze of Fade's shoulders to show who he meant, "And that's Layla, though she prefers Deathstar. I just got here, unless you mean the mansion entirely, inwhich case... I've been here for nearly a year now."

Ali smiled and nodded to each of them as Raphael named them off. "It's nice to meet all of you. I'm trying to get to know some people so I'll have someone to talk to and maybe go do things with instead of being bored and alone in my room." She looked each of them over but not in an intimidating manner.
