The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

'Sevion..' Was he ok? Was he safe? What if they couldn't stop this attack? What would The Order members do to them, the kids, and their home? She would be failing them all. She would be the cause of this loss...
'No, no... This is her...' Tricity saw Syn inbound as Raina went down with her brother. She quickly conjured more of the current flowing within her and kept it concentrated solely in her hands. A quiver kept racing up her back as she tried to shake away the emotions Syn was causing. Was she doing it to everyone?
"THIS IS SYN'S DO.. DOING!" Her voice cracked as she swallowed down her fears. "Don't... DON'T LET IT TAKE YOU!!" she called out to her teammates. Hopefully they would listen. Hopefully they could hear her over the fighting. Tricity's eyes fell back to Syn. They were only a few feet from one another now.
"Coward," Tricity muttered. "Have to use your mutation to make us afraid because you know you can't beat us on pure skill, huh?" She smirked as the electrical currents kept sparking in her hands. "Come on then, Syn. Tired of trying to explain anything logical to you since common sense doesn't fit into that tiny brain of yours where stupidity seems to have taken over completely instead." Tricity pulled her arms up into a fighting stance and prepared for Syn's retribution.
The scene was chaos. Pure chaos. Her eyes darted around to see how everyone was fairing. Couldn't they just be left alone? Was The Order that blindingly stupid? 'Apparently.' Tricity's attention broke at the sounds of small explosions across the grounds and not a moment later, two falling teddy bears fell within five feet of where she and Syn were facing off. They looked at each other for a moment before darting in opposite directions. The explosion sent Tricity forward, but she quickly rolled through the jolt and sprang to her feet again. 'It's raining stuffed animals,' she thought as her gaze went toward the roof. There was Luna. Tricity gritted her teeth from the thought of the small girl trying to help them now.
Something quickly flew up toward the roof where she heard screams for help. 'No...' Tricity thought as she saw Luna scrambling around. From the ground, it was hard to tell what was happening, but it seemed Raven was engaged with another Order member above in hopes of protecting Luna.
The ground shook. 'Now what?' It had only been a few moments since the explosive toys had fallen and she could see Syn coming out of the smokey aftermath and toward her once more. The earth tore open and ice hands were exploding from within, wrapping around some of the opposing force. She immediately looked toward Raina and saw her teammate atop her brother's shoulders.
Tricity took the initiative. Syn would have to wait...
The eletricity folded unto herself and surged through her arms instead, where the familiar blue swirls of sparking energy formed into her hands. Her attention never left Syn, however. The woman was still stalking forth and she most likely was thinking Tricity was preparing her first blow. No. Tricity remembered Syn's mutation quite well and knew she had to be careful and strategic.
She sent the surging blasts at the icy hands which had gripped some of The Order. Electricity formed with ice was a powerful and incapacitating kind of combo. Tricity knew first hand as a recipient... Whoever was caught in this attack would surely go down.
Tricity went to the ground as Syn tackled her with immense strength. She felt the wind knocked from her and felt a swirl of light-headedness as she gripped the ground in pain. Her mouth opened to say something, but she still couldn't muster enough air before coughing harshly. A moment later, Raina's ear-piercing note sounded through the night just after Tricity covered her ears as commanded. Now there was no way of talking this through.
Ice formed around the ground and Tricity recoiled her hand from the frozen grass she had gripped again. She saw the ice forming around Syn's feet as she looked up at the furious woman. "Syn..." Tricity began whispering, but the sudden assault of darkened blades cut her off and she was sent scrambling back a few feet for safety.
Tricity rose from the ground unsteadily. The Order members were breaking out toward them all as she saw some of the X-Men charge forward to meet their adversaries head on. Again, Tricity rose her hands up toward Syn in a surrendering fashion, but this time releasing electricity that enveloped her entire body. If anyone touched her, a nice shock would send them backwards. "Syn," she began once more, but this time there was more volume to her voice despite the breaking and gasps. "We didn't... take the.. doors. There's been... a mistake..."
Before she could get a reaction from Syn, an arrow came flying within inches of her face, followed by more soon after. Tricity once again had to back up as what could only be described as a female centaur came bounding across the grounds. Syn sure picked up a lot more mutants than Tricity had realized. The X-Men were possibly outnumbered.
The feather covered delivery man kept bumbling along and eventually turned from them to get his partner and take off. Tricity turned to Streak and listened as he explained what this was all about. "...I don't know why Syn sounds familiar but..."
"SYN?!?!" Tricity interrupted, as Streak continued on. She was barely listening as her eyes immediately turned to the mansion grounds, expecting the inevitable. That's where the doors are from. The Sanctuary. 'What the hell is she doing now?' Her attention tuned up once more when she heard Streak mention a group of Order members flooding onto the property.
Her head shot around to the main doors where the group of residents had gathered. "GET EVERYONE INSIDE NOW! ALL X-MEN AND TRAINEES ARE TO BE OUT HERE IMMEDIATELY!!" Tricity pulled in the electricity from the source of the flood lights, causing them to flicker for just a moment.
Great. Another attack on the mansion. 'What is Syn's issue? And what the hell are the doors about?' Here they came. A... lot... Their figures came out of the dark as they stepped onto the grounds where the floodlights finally showed their positions. Tricity could hear the footsteps of her team as they rushed across the field to Streak and herself.
The intruders stalked on. She recognized a few of them, trying to rememeber their mutations. Some she remembered from their ordeal at the camp... 'Where is she?' Tricity knew she would be coming for her...
She turned and saw her team was almost to her and Streak. The mansion doors were closed and Johnathon had better have gotten everyone in the War Room, locked up and safe. Tricity faced her enemies again and there she was. "Syn...," she whispered. The vicious woman was only a few feet from her now. Tricity put her hands up in a surrender fashion. "Just listen a minute. What's going on? Why are you here and what's with the doors?" She scanned for some sort of reasoning in the woman's eyes, but Tricity knew this fight was inevitable. Syn just continued on with an unwavering determination. "Look, I don't want to fight, Syn. There's obviously some sort of misunderstanding..." but Tricity couldn't finish as Syn unleashed her first attack.

'God, I hate traffic,' Tricity thought with an audible sigh as she put her foot harder on the gas pedal of her mustang. She didn't want to be any later to Raina's party more than she already was. How annoying. On top of that, the clerk took forever wrapping the small jewelry box which contained a mermaid pendant; her tail made of an emerald, torso a diamond, and hair made from a garnet. She'd never seen anything like it before and thought it perfect for Raina.
She quickly turned the next bend, unaware of the stranger who had been watching the unfolding scene from across the street. The gates opened for Tricity and she made her way up the drive. It seemed the party had moved outside at first, but then she noticed the strained faces of the older tenants on closer inspection. Streak was standing just outside the door with his arms crossed as the others stood behind him. 'What's going on?'
Tricity skidded to a stop on the loose gravel of the drive, grabbed the small black bag with the present inside, and got out of the car. Her eyes immediately fell upon the doors of the mansion which a... robot... was now replacing for a brilliant new golden set. Tricity stepped next to Streak and eyed the mutant delivery 'man' in front of her. She'd never seen a mutant who took on the likeness of a crow before. "Excuse me, what is all this?"
Her eyes fell again to the robot who was continuing his project. She'd seen these doors before... But from where?
A pain shot through Tricity's head as Raina's voice rang out and shook the orbs. She immediately released control and grabbed a hold of another pair. "We work better as a team then I...," Raina began, but Tricity had released more pellets and a laser at her teammate, signifying her 'death'. She smirked and giggled as Raina headed off the field for now.
Tricity quickly took control of a few more orbs and headed toward Nathan. Man, did she wish she could make a sword of electricity... He took down half of the orbs she'd sent his way with his attack. Very nice, however, the ones he'd missed were raining pellets down on him now with a net and laser on the way as he dodged as best he could.
'Yes.' This is what Tricity wanted. They were working together now. Maybe she wouldn't have to up the danger... yet... Luke had sacrificed himself instead of letting more of the others 'die' and Ghost was now giving the team a window of few moments to attack the disorientated orbs. 'Yes.
She smiled as Steel swooped in to save Ghost from the impending 'death' the orbs were threatening from their lasers. Tricity actually felt the disorientation of the orbs she was controlling from Ghost's attack. 'Interesting.' She released immediately from those orbs and gained control of five more, sending them at high speed toward the group again. Tricity had managed to separate the mutants a bit now, making their defense somewhat weaker. It was likely a few more mutants would be joining Luke at the sidelines to be released...
She glanced at the scoreboard with a smirk and simultaneously released an assault of pellets and nets at the team once more.
Nika just missed being tagged by one of the orbs. Close. 'Come on team, let's do this together.' Would it take the X-Men to start things off properly? Tricity rolled her eyes with a smirk, hearing Streak's remark to the others after disposing of two orbs. Her attention than flickered over toward Garrett. 'What exactly is he doing?' she thought, squinting amongst the chaos to get a better look. Impossible to tell.
Maybe she would have to 'motivate' them...
Tricity picked up on the energy of four orbs in the room and quickly took control of them. She sent them at incredible speed toward Raina. She wouldn't be able to stop or avoid all of their attacks. Someone would have to help... 'No offense, hun. You know what I'm doing...'
As the orbs continued down on Raina, Tricity sent them in a ferocious spin which shot out the pellets simultaneously. In the next instant, she released the nets. It was a storm of projectiles zeroing in on them now.
Tricity watched from the observation deck as things began to jump off; Raina easily taking down one of the orbs. 'So an X-Woman starts it off,' she thought with a smile. She could see the others begin to loosen up and scan the room as the orbs darted around in formations to attack the various mutants. This wouldn't be that easy a task. The only reason it was considered a Level 1 training was because there was no immediate danger involved. Still, they would need to work together to get these orbs down.
Sam's powers were quite useful. Being able to use golems that actually obeyed was something Tricity hadn't seen very often. He controlled them well. She watched him land into the arms of one of his creations, holding an orb. Her eyes looked up to the scoreboard and saw the mutants were up 2 to 0. That wouldn't last long...
Tricity pulled the god mic to her lips again. "By the way," she began as the battle below continued. "The orbs learn. They will begin to understand how you move and your mutations to better attack you and your teammates. Oh, and don't forget they will team up on you. They don't act alone." She pushed the mic away and leaned closer to watch the chaos ensue.
Tricity sat in one of the big, black, leather swivel chair of the Danger Room and watched as everyone prepared themselves in the room below. She nodded for Katrina to pop a squat in the chair next to her so she could get the best view. Tric gave a wink before pulling the god mic to her lips.
"Ok everyone, this is it. If we don't understand how our mutations work, we won't be a very effective team. For now you're grouped up into 'like' groups," Tricity began, using her fingers as quotes. "But in the end, we're one team. Support one another. Find your strengths and weaknesses."
She gave a wink to everyone and clicked the mic off before flipping and pushing a couple buttons to start the training session. The computer came alive. "Level 1 training. Activate orb-bots. Laser tag only... orbs on level 1."
The lights in the Danger Room went out and back on a second later. The sound of the high-tec machine indicating the session was about to begin. Panels in the room's walls opened up and small flying, metal orbs descended onto the group.
"These orbs will produce nets, small rubber pellets, and a laser light. If the laser light remains on your body for more than a couple seconds, the orb will make a beep, indicating you're death... well, in theory of course. Esentially the tactics of these orbs is to incapacitate you with the pellets, shoot the net to hold you still, and release the light for a few seconds to indicate its win. If you're defeated by the orb, you'll be expected to shuffle your way to the sidelines where the net will release from deactivation after stepping across the painted line that circles the room. After that, you may join in the fight. Keep in mind, they are extremely fast and will work together just as you all are expected to."
A scoreboard lowered from another panel. The two teams consisted of the X-Men and the Orbs. "Now, for us to score... We simply need to destroy them by whatever means necessary. For now, we'll start with 40. The computer will be keeping track of the score. Good luck!"
Tricity hit another button and the orbs began loading their program for the exercise. She sat back and watched with hope as the orbs began spinning around the room. 'Let's see what you're made of, team.'
Orbs:
OOC: Sorry about not being around lately. The site wouldn't let me log in. Idk what that was all about, but hopefully that crap will stop!
Tricity kept full attention to each mutant that stood and spoke their piece. Some were nervous. Expected. There were a lot of other mutants in here. More experienced. More 'useful' powers when actually on the frontlines. 'But it seems all these mutations have their usefulness in one way or another. This could be the strongest group we've ever had assembled here in the mansion.'
With a reassuring wink to Katrina and a slight nod and smile at Nika, Tricity stood once more to continue with the meeting. "Thank you for your introductions. I think the possibilities of this team are endless. In fact, I'd like to see how we work together and focus on the actual uses of your mutations in the Danger Room. Nothing too crazy for now... Just simple tests that can help us better understand one another and what we are capable of. Some of you may want to change into something a little less restricting." Tricity waved her arm toward the door. "Shall we?"
She turned to her Second. "Neena, just start the program on a simple stage in the main room. We'll get warmed up and comfortable before pressing into something more difficult. I'm going to pass Sevion to one of the girls to babysit. I'll meet you all there."
After picking up the baby, Tricity knelt down beside Katrina so only the girl could hear. "I'd like it very much if you came to the Danger Room as well. Would you mind tagging along?" Katrina's ability was certainly useful, but Tricity didn't want the girl to feel left out. Perhaps she wasn't ready to be on the field... but there was no reason the girl couldn't start preparing herself for a team she wanted to be a part of when the time was right.
Tricity listened at the 'old style' Jeramya had when he spoke. Reminded her of Orion. 'Uuuugh...' She realized his voice was fading out as her mind wandered to other thoughts and quickly refocused her attention. 'His mutation is so interesting. Could come in handy for stealth purposes and scouting. Wonder how hard his defense is to break?'
The young man she'd met out on the front yard took the next spotlight. His mutation was obviously helpful in many ways. Tricity winked at Sam. "Well, you and I need to spend a little time together in the Danger Room." She nodded over at the Doc and then back to Sam. "I'll be sure to have him around when that goes down." With a grin Tricity looked around again at the many faces. "Ok, who's next?"
'So many new faces,' Tricity thought as an overwhelming amount of people began to show up for the meeting. The saddest thing was, many of the verterans were no where to be seen. 'Lots of young ones... Need to learn everyone's mutations... Is he bowing to me?' Tricity's ears perked up to the familiar sounds of heavy boots. 'Not now... Pleeease, not now.' Too late. There he was, coming through the doorway. Her heart stopped and then her brain reminded her it was a necessay organ, making it start again with a couple of beats skipping and her breath catching in her chest. She was speechless. Her eyes moved from him to the baby and back to him as he leaned down for a kiss. God, he's cheating!! She couldn't let this affect her now, however. Tricity took a deep breath and sighed with a smile. She turned to everyone else in the room and without a hitch, motioned them all to sit down. She'd deal with Orion later...
"It's great to see so many more people willing to join the X-Men. I think it's important that you are all aware of what we do and what joining this team really means. First, we above all things, protect those that can not protect themselves. This includes mutants and humans alike. If this is something you can not agree with, the X-Men are not for you." Tricity took a sip of her coffee, still standing and continuing her speech. "Secondly, our job requires dangerous missions in which people have been hurt... and even killed." A memory flashed through her mind of a young man who sacrificed himself the first time the mansion was destroyed. She pushed it aside and continued. "There are standards and rules everyone must abide to, myself and Neena included. You must be there when called on. We are a team. We need each other's support. Some mutations might be great on a certain mission while others may not. Therefore, some of us may be on the field while others stay to protect the mansion. Our mansion is our home. We have to keep up its defense."
Tricity started walking slowly around the table now, continuing. "I don't know many of you and you don't know me. However, it's important that we trust one another. We'll need a crash course in getting our mutations to work together in greatest effectiveness. We need to know our strengths and weaknesses as individuals and as a unit. If we don't, we're nothing and that's how people are hurt or worse."
She'd made a lap around the group and was back at the head of the table now. "With that said, those that don't think this is the place for them, should leave as I introduce myself." Tricity finally sat down at the head of the table and leaned forward on its top. "Hey," she began casually with a smirk and a wave. "My name is Delilah Rose Tipper. I'm 25 years old and I'm a New York native. My mutation surfaced when I was quite young and has evolved since. I have the ability to control any source of electrical power. Cars... machinery... lights... appliances." The lights and computer screens flickered at that. "I've become lazy since and mentally use objects a lot."
"I always have some sort of electrical current running through my body since most of us can't walk very far without some form technologial piece of something or other close by. I can pull the energy of the current from my body and create a small electrical ball in my hands." Tricity extended her hand and brought the current out, creating a blue, spinning, and sparking energy mass in her palm. She let is dissipate back inside her once more. "Or..." The room instantly went completely black, making it impossible to see. Suddenly, a bit of blue light started emanating from Tricity until her entire body was brightly glowing. She started hovering from where she stood some five feet off the ground. "With enough of a current, I can make myself... fly, I suppose. Though, not for very long." Sevion started giggling. "My eyes will usually start to turn black with hints of the current sparking from my eyes."
Tricity released the massive current inside her. The computers restarted, the coffee maker and refrigerator came back on, and the lights finally flickered to life once more. "On rare occasions I've been able to produce lightning when outside." More flashbacks. "But that was under extreme conditions and I had practically no control." She leaned forward on the table. "Water and I don't get along too well if I'm using my mutation. As you can see, or smell I should say, I don't stink to high heaven and am able to take showers and swim like anyone else. I just have to release the current that is ever flowing inside me. I have the tendency to lose consciousness if I overuse my mutation. Such as the lightning experiences... I've always lost consciousness. I'll sometimes lose control of the electrical objects that are around me. Not always the best time to be around." She glanced at the Doc Prof and saw him give an internal sigh.
"As most of you I'm sure, I rarely use hand to hand combat and rely on my mutation, but I'm trained in a few arts. I'm best with a bo." Tricity leaned back and smiled. "SO, enough about me. Let's move around the table shall we? Who'd like to start?"
Tricity listened as her colleague went into a quick overview of what was past and present for the mansion residents. She put faces to names as Neena described the infiltration.
"I swear, no matter how many damn cameras we put into this house, someone will always find a way around," she mumbled, biting her thumb nail absentmindedly. "We can never really be sure who's coming and going... All the X-Men should have a com link," she replied, rummaging around in the baby bag and pulling out the sleek looking cell phone device. "We'll need to pass these around to those who don't have them, including the teachers."
Tricity looked over at the coffee machine and mentally started it once more. She turned back again to Neena with a sigh and then a smile. "Don't know what I'd do without you." Sevion coo-ed at this and gave a little screech toward Neena. "He agrees."
The PA system suddenly crackled to life and Johnathon's voice echoed throughout the mansion. "All X-Men, trainees, and those that are interested in becoming a part of the team, please meet Miss Tipper and Miss Neena in the War Room for a manditory meeting immediately. This is an open call, so get your butts in there or..."
Tricity rolled her eyes at the speaker, cutting the connection before Johnathon could continue. "I swear sometimes that boy..." She smiled and got up to fill her coffee mug once again. "Well, let's reform the X-Men, shall we?"
((OOC: All that are interested may now post. The door is standing open and it's Neena, Tricity, and her baby at the head of the massive table that fills the room. There are chairs surrounding the table for people to sit. A sophisticated computer system covers one wall. Coffee maker, fridge, and table fill another. A couple of sofas line the other walls. Hence.. a place of business.))
Tricity gave a huge smile as Neena made her entrance. She returned the hug and plopped down to her chair and coffee once more, giggling just as Sevion did the same at Neena. "I got some rest, but this kid can be a handful." She tugged on her son's foot playfully. "Boy, does he like you."
Taking a huge sip of her coffee, she sighed and began the meeting. "So... I've been hearing a couple of troublesome things. Though know, I don't blame ANY thing on you. There can really be no blame to pass around for all the crazy things that happen around here." Tricity sighed again and tapped her finger to her temple. "Xavier popped into my head to give me a brief update, but I want to hear it from you and not a go-between."
"So..." She took another sip of coffee before pulling Sevion into her arms as he squeeled in excitement. "Tell me what's happened."
