The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Henri's a bit of a wanderer herself. Maybe they could bump into each other at a coffee shop or something.
OMG, I keep missing your messages, LoL. Shore, that sounds good to me. She's venturing into the city more so meeting in either a coffee shop or a bookstore or something will work out great.
Do you wanna start the thread or should I? Either way, I might be a few days. I'm close to graduating high school and it's a little hectic. Haha
Besides the man she had jumped in front of, there was now a woman involved, some guy who called himself a detective, and a man she recognized as Shin flying on a triangle. Really? What was with all the people all of a sudden? The brunette blinked as if confused for a moment, but shook her head and held her ground.
She would've continued holding her ground if the man behind her didn't dive in front of her, practically giving himself to the tiger man. "Oh my god! Are you insane?!"A logical question. Of course, she had done the same for him, so maybe they were both insane.
At this point, Henri felt kind of irritated that the guy she was trying to protect her had now blocked her off and almost committed suicide, intentional or otherwise. She probably would've yelled at him some more if Shin didn't pick him up and fly him to safety. Unfortunately, now the tiger was practically on top of her. She really hoped that all that practice-falling with Mr. Stein would pay off and she wouldn't be crushed on impact.
The woman passed a Henrietta a piece of paper with a phone number and told her to call if she needed training or help. The way she added 'help' at the end made her a bit nervous, but she smiled graciously nevertheless. "Thanks. I'll be sure to give you a call if I need either of these things."
Henri watched Lenna leave and then glanced down at the phone and the phone number. I wish you could help me tell Slate I want out. I don't know how he'll react to it, but this is something I need to do on my own. Of course, you already know that. She smiled slightly and slid both items into her purse before resuming her walk.
Maybe when they meet up Henri could tell Teddy about the Kabal or something and try to recruit him. He's not to loyal to the xmen or the mansion so it could work. Just a thought.
Henri actually has no idea what the Kabal really does and believes she doesn't fit it. She's trying to leave them.
Hey Henri! Sorry, I didn't see your reply earlier. Agnes is venturing back out into the city. She lives at the X-Mansion but she enjoys finding coffee shops, interesting attractions, or simply wandering around the city. Currently she is trying to duck away from any street side preachers who are flashing an old picture of her, preaching that she and all mutants are demons (they are her parents), so she doesn't go to places TOO crowded, but she tends to wander. Wherever you want to meet up is good with me if you're still interested.
Henri's a bit of a wanderer herself. Maybe they could bump into each other at a coffee shop or something.
Henrietta liked wandering the grounds at the Mansion. It made her feel at peace and she had continued to feel this until kept coming across people she didn't know. She was starting to wonder what was going on when she came across a large red man with stripes sizing up another man. The other man looked, well, defenseless and actually screamed.
Of couse, all of Henri's insides screamed at her to run. For a moment, it looked as if the tiger man might attack the other guy, but he was looking at her now. "Crap." Henrietta's brain informed her that this would be the perfect opportunity to avoid the situation, but still her legs wouldn't move. She glanced at the man whom she had previously thought was going to be mauled. "Go somewhere safe!" Even if I get eaten alive...
Without thinking, the girl stood her ground.. Her hair floated out of her ponytail as if she was in water. It began to extend, though she wasn't quite sure how to control it. It just seemed to do it when she was terrified, which she was.
Chris acted as if his leaving the Mansion wasn't a big deal, so she let it drop. However, when she put a hand on him, he instantly recoiled. She was a little surprised, but he quickly changed the subject. Henrietta nonchalantly looked at the palm of her hand. He acted like it burned, but she was pretty sure that it just had to do with his shyness. Still, she still felt slightly offended. She thought they were friends, but of course she didn't know what all her friend had been through. She was sure there was some reason he tried so hard to distance himself. Henri assumed that it came from people distancing themselves from him. She knew how that was and glanced at the boy out of the corner of her eye, but quickly looked forward again.
When asked what she had been up to, Henrietta laughed a little. "Where to start?" She kicked a rock that was on the sidewalk. "Well, first off, I was kidnapped a while back. They took my blood for some reason." The girl shivered at the memory and for a moment, she had a distant look on her face.
She shook her head rapidly from side to side. "But I'm fine. No worries. Let's see...Oh! I joined some group, but I'm going to quit. I think they're more than I bargained for. Van and I are going out, which is nice, though my friends don't like him much and that makes it difficult. My most recent event was getting an arm injury while trying to help some girl. In the process, I discovered my mutation has evolved to an extent. I didn't know they could do that." Henri glanced at Chris and smiled. "How about with you?"
The brunette sighed and placed the phone back in her pocket. "Fair enough. I'm a big girl. I can do it." For a moment she looked a combination of angry, scared, and confused, but then she smiled. Her blue eyes twinkled. "Again, thank you for everything. I'm glad I know you."
Henrietta was being completely sincere. She was glad to know Lenna, even if meeting her had caused her to join the Kabal and agree to work for Slate. She was scared to tell him that she was backing out. The girl wondered if he'd be angry with her.
“I always seem to run into people I know when I’m just wandering around.” The girl smiled and was glad to see he was too. She knew that he could get uncomfortable quite easily, but he seemed to be doing okay. They had known each other for a while now and she considered him one of her friends and the feelings seemed to be reciprocated.
Chris started to explain to Henrietta how he acquired his new home. When he started to explain why he had done it, she shook her head and grinned. “You don’t have to explain yourself to me. You should do what makes you comfortable and feels right.” He said he felt like he didn’t fit in, and it made her a bit sad. If she had known he felt that way, she would’ve tried harder to hang out with him and introduce him to new people. Though, Henri had a feeling that just would’ve made him more nervous. She touched his arm lightly. “I’m sorry, I didn’t know you were having a hard time there.”
The boy said he would miss her too and she felt her face flush slightly, but luckily he changed the subject. He asked if she wanted to walk with him to the grocery store. Henrietta nodded. “Yeah, that’d be great. I’m just kind of pouting about the poor weather and I bet that would help me cheer up. Actually, just seeing someone I know has helped me get out of my funk.”
