Mutations Mutation description: Extremely heightened senses, three of the five. Her senses of smell and taste are normal but her eyesight, hearing, and sense of touch, are off the charts. She can see up to 150 feet away the way a normal human with 20/20 vision would see 40 feet away, which is the average limit to a human's 20/20 vision. Her hearing is about twice that of the average predatory mammal and her sense of touch is maybe three times more sensitive than the average human.
Strengths: This makes her an even better archer than before and an asset in any situation that requires overhearing someone's conversations. She can also sense changes in the air around her, like when a person moves, when her skin is uncovered.
Weaknesses: The downside is that she can be easily crippled by loud noises are bright lights. Similarly unexpected physical contact can cause seizures from sensory overload, and even when expected she can only be touched for so long before the feeling of it becomes painful.
Secondary mutation description: (if applicable)
This mutation should be linked or make sense with your first mutation. You don't need a second mutation, but you can develop one later on with moderator approval.

Faction AllegianceCurrently Unaffiliated, hoping to become a student at Xavier's.
History Of Your CharacterBorn in the busy city of Portland, Oregon; Auryon was raised by what some people might kindly term as hippies. As such she was raised in an extremely open and accepting environment, so her childhood declarations of Barbie marrying one of her female friends weren't just tolerated they were encouraged. She wasn't forced to socialize, though her parents did wish she would more often as the years passed. They tried everything to get her interested in spending time with other people but little could keep her among them. So they just gave in and let her do her thing, choosing to be proud of her independent spirit.
In her freshman year of high school, in the middle of PE, the sounds of the other students suddenly grew overwhelmingly loud. The light of the sun burned her eyes. And when she curled into a ball on the middle of the field to try and block it all out her classmate's hands suddenly burned against her newly sensitized skin. They got her to the nurse's office, and from there to the hospital since no one could figure out what was happening to her. After several tests they finally tested for the X-gene and found it, at which point the changed attitude of the nurses and doctors made her parents decide it was time to move. They packed up and moved to the small coastal town of Winchester Bay, where there would be less people and definitely less noise. She learned and adapted to her mutation but slowly grew to resent it a little. But when the population of their small town discovered that Auryon was a mutant the reaction was worse than they'd imagined. About half the population got up in arms and took it on themselves to run them out of the city. Her mother was trampled by the mob and her father went crazy at that, eventually getting shot by one man as he tried to reach his wife. Auryon managed to escape and hitchhiked her way to New York, intent on finding and perhaps joining Xavier's Institute.

Sample RP: Arianwen stood outside the gates, having finally reached her destination after long months of travelling. She could distantly hear her last ride's engine moving away, even through her noise-canceling headphones, and figured it was maybe a mile or so down the road. She didn't have any certainty on her range of course, only guessing, but it seemed as good as any. The sun was still bright overhead so she left her goggles on while studying the school and grounds from the gates, hair pulled back as usual and face pale against the black of her clothing and dark-tinted ski goggles. Finally she sighed and started looking for a way to open the gates or contact whoever was inside that could. She found the little white radio box affixed to the wall beside the gate and walked over, pressing the button and speaking clearly into the speakers.
"My name is Arianwen O'Connell, and I'm looking to become a student here." She said formally and then waited for a reply.
