The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Sounds good Gina. I'll keep my ears open for anyone who might be interested in joining a pair of ferals. Amber would love to have a little pack of her own to help feed and protect.
-a haunting and eerie violin melody echos through the ruined streets.- Not sure Seyta would willingly join the amazons... but some of the other groups might want to add a musical ninja to their ranks
Has finally read through entire thread. Kitra would definetly be in!! possibly as a spy for the lovely Amazons. Also! another idea for those that dont want it to be like FP. Im thinking perhaps a major Illusionist and Dreamer mass NPCs which would start out as an Illusion and end up them waking up from it, in mostly comfortable places. Another idea, far fetched perhaps but who knows, Have them be teleported to said future on a fluk by npc Jack and powered up by Sveta, who was sent a dream by possible epic npc dreamer that caused FP. And when it is scheduled to end. Have that be reversed and all the damage and or chaos, markings and what nots fade as they wake up from a dream then. Or something like that.....

I think the problem with literally teleporting characters to the future is that people want to be able to have threads both in the Grim Future and in the present day. Thus, a dream works well because time differences are realistic in that it can seem as if months passed in the future world, while only a night passed in the real world.

I agree, Sky. In my humble opinion, probably the best way to run this is as a dream sequence. It is just cleaner. That way, with characters I include in the new future plot, I can still play them in other threads that are in the current time. So, when we reach the end of the Age of Sebastian thread, everyone will simply wake up from a good night's sleep (on whatever day the plot ends) and be like "Whoa..weird dream." I love this concept!
I think the other downside to doing a mass teleport instead of a dream is that you lose the gradual change of the characters over the next few years. Essentially we'd just be playing the same people, unchanged, with the only difference being more destroyed buildings in the city. I just don't see things like amazons happening if everyone gets teleported in.

Emily, I am considering bringing my character Juka back and he also doesn't tend to sleep. I think its a bit of a different situation than Emily since he's technically capable of sleep but doesn't because his mutation allows him to bypass that need, but in his case I think I'm going to have him get knocked unconscious in order to be involved. Is something like that possible with Emily?
