This is exactly how we ran the old Future Plot, Sky, and methinks it will work nicely this time around, too.

So yep, normal present time RPing will continue as usual while Age of Sebiroth threads take place--but on the "wake up" date, everyone will wake up after one night's sleep in the present timeline with their future memories (or as much of them as each player wants to remember). That will allow anyone who doesn't want to participate, or any new members confused by the plot, to simply sit it out with no harm done to their own timelines.

How is mid/late June looking for everyone as a start night? Give time for colleges and high schools to get out, and those of us taking Big Career Exams time to get those done.

As far as "official descriptions/write ups" go, usually the person who came up with the idea works with the Mods to write a scene setting post or summary for Super Official Posting, taking workable/cool ideas from the plot thread into account. We can work on getting one of those up closer to the start date, though--right now, methinks we're still in the "toss ideas out" stage. A vital part of any site-wide plot.

June sounds good, I'm still in summer classes but I should be able to do it with you guys. I'm still not sure about waking up from a dream thing because that seems a little like the old future plot and we want this to look a little different.

So...yeah, I'm either going to miss the beginning of the threads or will only get a couple of posts out before I have my wedding and leave on my honeymoon . But go for it!! I cannot wait to read what you guys get going. Sounds like so much fun!

Im really Liking this idea, and whatever happened to bring about the apocalypse Aura would likely have defended sanctuary as well as she could as well as other Mutants. So it is likely she could have helped save many people in the face have catastrophe, even humans if Aura had littile time to check if they were actual mutants. Aura could well function as an Amazon or in many other roles. Any time at all is good for me though.

I'm pushing for a slightly closer to late June as opposed to mid June, but I suppose either way the startup date is close enough that I'm sure I could get involved anyway, even if a character has to start a little bit late to the game. I, for one, am super excited about this!

Mid/Late June sounds good to me. Don't have anything going on at that time that I'm aware of, so I'll be around for posting.

I'm all for the dreaming thing. Makes it simpler if the real time muties only lose a night's worth of time while they're off playing in the future for a few months. Plus it seems to tie in nicely when memories get involved. Some people remember their dreams very clearly, others lose pieces or the entirety of them. Also makes it interesting down the line if characters interact again in the present and there's similar or dissimilar memories to share or to be weirded out by.

But on the morning of September 1st everyone has the option of remembering whatever they want to from the FP. Think Dorthy post OZ. Yes, that is the perfect description in a nutshell! So sometime between now and June, we will come up with a more specific scenario for AoS.

I want to join! Less for the future, but I can think of ways to work that into stuff for Allison, too. Mostly though I like the idea of Allison in a world where she has to worry about survival instead of whether people will perceive her as intelligent or not.

...Actually I can't think of anything useful to add. I like the plot! If Sebastian is causing the apocalypse, will he still be around, maybe as some kind of king-god of the (ghost) city? Allied with the Sanctuary or enemies with them?

Also! I would like to have Allison join Maxine's kick-butt Amazons, except she distinctly lacks the kick-butt part. ...Maybe she could give them all war tattoos, or something?

War tattoos it is, then! Which can even be removed or changed for ease of disguise, should Maxine's Amazons ever need to become assassins for some reason.

All the more reason I need to get Amber re-approved and involved. Because Skydancer is incapable of having war tattoos and war tattoos are officially awesome!
