The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

" I like the way they name in your family, something about the creativity. My parents named me Avello. I would have liked the name if it wasn't for them being the ones responsible for it."
"I still think Avello is muy guapo."
Iara snickered as she watched as jupiter left. She waited and watched before picking up a marble and aiming for Pluto. She let it fly and giggled softly.
"My mom loved soccer so thats why she named my baby brother Pele. He can not kick a goal to save his life but he's the capitain of the varisty basketball team."

"muy guapo....Guapo is bat dung isn't it?"
Iara laughed and shook her head. "No... no, no, no, no, no. You think of guano. Guapo means handsome."
She then tried to shield herself from the marbles as she giggled and caught one, prepared to retaliate.
" I knew it was you, just so you know"
Iara couldn't help but smile at the face he made. She tossed the marble so it sent one of the balls into a pocket.
"basket ball is a better game in my opinion, Soccer is a whole lot of runninr with little pay off, at least you get alot of chances to shoot in bball."
"I agree. Though, I don't watch soccer for the teams and the plays, I watch it for the fans. I like seeing them go nuts."

" so any of those siblings pick on you?"
"Yea... my brother Davi was the oldest so he always got his way. I'm the oldest girl and Contessa is the baby of the family so there's a 4 year difference between us so I get all of my brothers treating me as if I'm another guy. Luckily I made it out without scars."
Fiona heard Raph answer his question and pose another in return. She realized that Syn had asked about her powers, and when Syn became silent for a moment she decided to answer.
"Sorry Raph, I think Syn had wanted to know something really quick. Erm, about my ability Syn, I can charm anyone I so desire, however men especially. I can make people trust me and fall in love with me. I can make them happier than the moon and stars... And I can make them do as I please when they're in deep enough. However, I barely ever do it to that extent, not that I could do it for a long time. I simply play here and there and get free drinks." she finished, and motioned towards the not too bright bartender who for some reason seemed to annoy Raph.
Turning back to Raph, she excused herself once again for interupting.
Interesting, one who heals quick and one sho can charm anyone. Well, almost anyone thought Syn as she listend to the others speak.
"I'm sure both of your abilities come in very handy." She smiled at them both while thinking if how to describe herself.
"Well, I'm somewhat complicated." The girl paused for a moment as the words floated in her head. "I can charm people as well, but it's different than how you are able to Fiona. I can create pheromones which I can release to help sway people to my way of thinking." Syn let that statemtn sink in for a moment before continuing. "I can also negate other mutants powers if they are used on me. Basically making myself very resistant or even immune to them."
Sitting back she took a sip of her ice water and enjoyed the feeling of both the coldness going down her throat as well as what seemed to be a look of surprise on Fiona's face. It told Syn that Fiona was used to getting her way, but that just came to a dead end with Syn and the tables could possibly be turned back onto Fiona.
Raphael nodded from Syn to Fiona as she interceded and explained her power. A full explanation of what had occurred and been hinted to on the dance floor. He did not mind what she had done, even realizing it to the fullest extent now. She had gotten him onto the floor using her power, but had not continued to use it on him since. Or, at least, so he thought.
Such a thing he found admirable. He looked back to Syn as she listed of her power. Two women who could sway the masses with a glance or a whiff. He shook his head with a little sigh. “Healing isn’t quite as useful as one might think.”
Had the bartender not been currently enraptured by Fiona, he might had contradicted Raphael. Being a cage fighter meant taking a beating and getting back up, time and again. Healing was very useful in that aspect, but Raphael felt that there were more useful mutations out there.
“So then…” he was running dry of conversation, a short coming of his, might as well move onto a further cliché. “Where do you two hail from?”

“Hmmmm, I don’t really know how to answer that, I guess yes, my memories before I actually realized my voice are all his memories. Though, I can’t say they really feel like mine, it’s more like watching a movie of a character you know. I lived in his mind for years and then in the cell that he was being held in.”
Iris glanced at Saturn, curiosity written all over her expression, but she wasn’t quite sure how to put words to her curiosity. Although he didn’t say, she got the impression that memories, whether his or Abyss’, were not all that pleasant. She looked around the club, trying to locate his ‘others’. She spotted the original Abyss with Iara, along with another. One was socializing at the bar, and another was headed in that direction. She thought she saw two others on the dance floor, but she wasn’t sure. But it seemed to her that each one was enjoying themselves as individuals, not necessarily as clones. Though Saturn seemed a bit lost in his thoughts.
Still curious, she stuck one hand in her pocket, and pulled out a coin. “Penny for Saturn’s thoughts?” A bit silly for sure, but that’s what she’d intended. She smiled and flipped the coin into the air.

" so you being oldest girl does that mean you got your way as well?"
Iara laughed as she ran her finger across his cheek.
"Nah. It means that I had to learn how to scrap with two older brothers to get air and that I would be shoved in a debutante dress and forced to charm school."
She smiled as Nail agreed to call the game a tie. She then watched him give the paddle to the lizardman and Nika just left hers on the table for someone else to play.
"My turn huh?" She thought for a moment.
"Well, we could go sit somewhere and talk if you want?"
Fiona looked at Syn and smiled, if not a tad bit curiously. Another woman who could charm others, and become immune to their powers as well. The possiblilities were endless, as were the scenarios that were going through her mind.
"Well, I'd like to see those pheromones in action someday." she said. Hearing Raph's comment, she turned to him.
"I wish I could heal myself at times."
Looking back to Syn, she answered his next question.
"I was born in Italy, but raised in Russia. I've traveled all over the world, so I sort of consider myself to be from everywhere."
They would make there way back to the booth they sat at earlier. He sat down and stretched in his seat.
"I feel kinda out of place. To tell the truth, this is the first club I've ever been to. Never really appealed to me, being a mutant and all. I always tried to avoid public places."
Nika sat next to Nail and looked out at the other occupants as they went on with their business. "I've been to a few and they can be fun. They can help you let loose for awhile." She placed her hand on his to try and help him feel a little more comfortable.
"So how old are you Nail? Where are you from? What would you like to know about me?" Nika smiled sweetly.
"Virginia, Bedford," Raphael responded, and then blinked at his response. These two women were the first he had told his true place of origin. Not that others had asked, or seemed to have cared, but he likely would not have told them, or told them truthfully, had they asked. For some reason, he was opening up to Syn and Fiona. He half suspected it was due to their manipulative powers, though quickly dismissed the idea.
Fiona raised her eyebrows at Raph. "Virginia? I would have never guessed..."
Looking at her watch, she realized it was getting to be rather late. She shrugged and sat back, liking the fact that she indeed was out late.
"So, do you guys have romantic interests?" she asked, and laughed. Winking at a random man that passed her, he came up to her and she quickly broke the trance having him look about bewildered. Giggling, she looked at the mutants beside her.
