The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Fiona smiled when Syn said she was beautiful. She heard it often, but now it felt like it meant something more. Turning to Raph, she adressed his question.
"I'm in a performing circus sort of thing. Or used to be. I did trapeze, dance, and martial arts displays. I even became the main event." she laughed, becoming crazily happy remembering the good old times. "I miss the place.." she said more to herself than anything.
Looking at Syn now, she waited for her to finish with the man whom she addressed as 'part of her brother' and smiled.
"Well, when you're out to have fun, one has to forget about everything, don't they? Otherwise, fun would never be attained. The daily struggles would never cease." she smiled and leaned back again, laying her head on the counter. "Hey bartender..." she beckoned playfully, and the man came forward. "One more vodka, huh?" she asked, and bit her lower lip. The bartended looked her over and bent downwards to whisper in her ear: "How about you and I share some vodka alone sometime?" Fiona closed her eyes and laughed. "Can I bring my mother?" The bartender shook out of his trance at that point and set to bring Fiona her vodka.
Sitting back up again, she turned her body so that her hip was resting on the barstool and her elbow was on the counter. She rested her head on her palm and waited for Syn's answer to Raph's question.
Both Raphael and Fiona's comments made Syn smile. "Well, I dunno if you noticed but there are a few guys who look like the one who was just here and the one on the dance floor." She pointed to both. "My brother can make copies of himself. That's why I called him part of my brother."
Turning to Fiona Syn listend to her talk about being out and having fun. "Yeah, I agree and that's why I came here. To have fun and not think about anything else." She sipped her drink again and waited for whoever was going to speak up next. Syn watched Fiona order herself another drink but in a rather strange way and then made herself comfortable in her seat.
Fiona looked to where the adjacent woman pointed to. Needless to say, there were indeed two flaming red men who inhabited the area. Laughing, she looked to Syn. "I wish I could do that." Sipping at the vodka, she placed the glass down and enlaced her fingers through her red ringlets. "Pardon me guys, I just feel like I need to let loose."
Unfastening the brooch that she used to hold her hair up, she let her waist length hair drop and cascade down her back. Standing, she threw her head forward and swung it back, to settle her hair. Nestling the brooch at the base of her cleavage where the waist cincher began, she used it accent her curvature like a hipster fashion debutante would. Looking back to her conversational partners, she stood in front of them both.
"Don't you guys want to dance?" she said extremely sexily, and placed the backs of her hands on either of their faces lightly so as to coax them out of their serious shells. Turning towards the dance floor, she heard a snazzy tune that she immediately began to sway her hips to. Placing her left hand in her hair and using her right to beckon the attractive two over, she let her seduction flow freely without stopping to think about it. She was heightened emotionally and she wanted to enjoy it.
Raphael nodded to Syn, following her finger as she pointed out more than one flaming red individual. “I see… a useful mutation indeed.” And a useful bit of information that he filed away incase things should get out of hand… which he seriously doubted they would, but this guy did strike him as the over protective brotherly type. Or maybe he was just mean-spirited and teasing Syn.
He turned his gaze to Fiona as she spoke and soon found himself enthralled. It did not take very much at all to get Raphael to rise from his seat and follow Fiona onto the dance floor, despite not knowing much about dancing. Even though he felt as though he would do nothing more than slow her down, at the same time he was drawn to do as she asked, and at this moment she was asking him to dance.
Raphael moved opposite to Fiona, watched her, listening to the music for a moment, and then began swaying and flowing with the beat. He moved with the grace of a gymnast, but lacked the finesse of a dancer.
With Fiona's sweet voice and watching her move to the music then seeing Raphael start moving as well; it all made Syn feel like dancing with them. She too started moving to the music and followed the other two out to the dance floor. There she started to dance with the two of them. "You're both good dancers," she said sweetly.
Fiona looked at the both of them, and smiled. Thanking Syn for the compliment on her dance moves, she added: "I love it when I can dance with fun, energetic people!" she said cheerily, and to make them both comfortable as possible, she maneuvered it quickly so that Raph, the sensual male with the moves but obviously sans experience, could follow by being behind her. She had the contageously wicked and more confident Syn directly in front, so that she could balance her attention on the woman as well as lead Raphael. Placing his hands on the inset of her hips so that his body and hers were comfortably close she also placed her own hands on Syn's waist so as to cue into the other female's personal style. "I hope that works for you..." she whispered into Syn's ear, and leaning her head slightly back she cued Raph so that she could mutter "I hope you can enjoy swaying with my hips. You won't get lost, sweetie, I promise."
Looking back towards Syn, she paid attention so that she might follow the rhythm and possibly move in closer if she desired. Resting the back of her head and body on Raph's, she also felt every muscle move behind her and knew what to do if he suddenly lost step.
Nika giggled at the lizard man’s comment to Nail. Then she full out laughed when Nail said she was really good at the game. “No I’m not. I’m just lucky I guess.” Just as she had said that he puck went into her goal. She was instantly blushing when she realized what happened. “Ok, maybe I’m not so lucky,” she said with a giggle. “Should we call it a draw?” Nika winked at Nail.
Watching Fiona guide Raphael and then when she placed her hands on Syn's waist It all made Syn smile. She stepped closer and leaned in to Fiona's ear and whispered back to her. "I'm fine with it." Pulling her head back to look at Fiona she winked at the beautiful lady while the three of them danced together. They were attracting alot of attention as they danced as well.
Fiona blushed when Syn whispered in her ear, and danced with her. Looking about, she realized a small crowd had formed around them and a few other enthusiastic dancers. "This is really too cool." Fiona said. Looking to Syn, she whispered in her ear: "Do you usually charm people just like this?" she asked, and knew that whatever Syn answered, it was only cause of her powers. She had to wonder just when the day would be that someone would actually like her for her.
Placing one hand on Raph's, she squeezed it gently as a sign of genuine attractivity and praise, and left it there.
"I haven't charmed anyone. I'm just going with the flow of things." Syn smiled back and danced closer to Fiona. The music was so moving and it made the three of them move along with it. Syn whispered in Fiona's ear again. "Do you usually charm people or is it your natural sensuality that draws them to you?"
Raphael smiled at Syn from around Fiona… he did not feel the compliment should be extended to him though. He was merely keeping time with the beat of the music. Swaying, shifting and adjusting his pace and style to match the women he was dancing with. He moved with the flow, letting Fiona move his hands to her hips, and flushing at the touch she directed him to. He let out a sigh that sounded a little oddly placed as Fiona leaned back and whispered to him, giving him confidence as they danced.
He followed Fiona’s lead superbly; being a trained fighter had perks that he now utilized here, namely reading his dancing partners and carefully moving with them. He did not notice the crowd, and hardly heard the short bits of conversation between his dancing partners. He focused solely on the woman directly before him, the vixen with a silken tongue that had enthralled him with a glance and captivated him with but a word. Though for some reason, he did not care, he was beginning to genuinely enjoy himself, and that was not something Fiona’s power was doing.
In response to the squeeze of her hands on his, he gave her hips a gentle squeeze, daring to whisper, loud enough for both dancing partners to hear, “Dancing always this enjoyable or is it my partners?”
Raphael's comment made Syn smile. "Dancing is fun but it's much nicer when you have great partners." She looked at both Fiona and Raphael with her emeral eyes and smiled again. The three of them were definatley being watched and gossiped about by bystanders.
"Well, that's my ability. I charm people. However, if I've carried on this far with the both of you, I do it because it's a lovely time to be dancing and enjoying one's company."
Continuing to dance, she heard Raph's sigh and felt herself blush. She had found his personality to be highly appealing to her, and she hoped she could get to know him better even outside of the clubbing atmosphere. Hearing his question this time, she smiled and replied: "Dancing is always fun, no matter whom you might be sharing the experience with. Sometimes you're lucky and you get things your way; Other times life throws you pleasant surprises like our situation tonight. Either way, it's still a primal enjoyment!"
Fiona laughed at this moment, and whispered in Raph's ear: "If you knew that the attraction you felt was because of a power, would you try to get to know the woman behind her ability?"
Raphael nodded, chin on Fiona’s shoulder as she leaned back against him, to both of the women’s answers. They mirrored each other and he decided that if they really were true answers, as this experience was proving, he would have to try it a little bit more frequently. The next action of Fiona’s certainly threw him for a loop. The laugh made her seem as though she were genuinely having fun, though her question certainly sounded more serious than the laugh might lead one to believe. It also confirmed what the whisper at the back of his mind had uttered while Syn and he had talked of Fiona.
“It would depend on the woman in question,” he answered honestly, though he was not feeling compelled to answer positively… and figured that she was not trying to influence him right now, or his answer. “And if she were to try and use that power to get a positive response… I am guessing she would not, so, to answer your question… I’d like to.”
Fiona smiled at had a quick glance at Raphael. Looking to Syn, she looked the woman over a few times and suddenly her focus came back into being. Just how much had she done while she had let her flimsy drinks get her hyped? Looking at the crowd around her, she soon let go of her newfound inhibition and relaxed, although something was amiss... Hearing Raph's response made a slight butterfly feeling erupt, and she nodded to herself without thinking.
"Thanks." she directed lowly to Raph. Getting into the groove, she twirled once and settled back into position, giggling.
