The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Nope, not at all. Couldn't tell you what you're thinking although they say males think about sex every six seconds so I could guess. *Delphi says trying to tease him a little.* All I do is pick up on emotions, like happy, sad, hurt, angry . . .
*Del stares at Trevor a bit for good measure,* You seem conflicted, at a cross roads I'd guess. Due to theooquestioning I'd take a stab and say the whole world has told you mutants are freaks and should be kept under close watch on the other hand, I'm the best lab partner in the class and it'd really sux to loose the good notes. *Delphi kidds sweetly, carefully.*
He smiles, almost against his will, quickly wiping it from his face. "Yeah... I guess that's right." He looks at her. "So, if all you do is, like... feel people's feelings for them, then why the glasses and the hair?" He asks, trying to figure out where she's tricking him.
If I knew that I could get a nobel prize. Nobody is sure how mutations will manifest, some people are green, some can communicate with animals, some are both, and some get crappy emotion powers and blue hair and black eyes. *Delphi says having no problem adding frustrated emotion to her voice there, she really feels it. Why some people end up blue and others get to shoot fire out of themselfs is a big gapping mystery.*
Well Trevor, assuming you come to the conclusion that I'm not evil or something to be avoided at the cost of your anatomy grade, I'll see you later right now I've got to take off for home. But I do hope I get to see you later, you have the potential of being a good friend. *Delphi says picking up her stuff and heading out of the cafeteria toward the mural to give it a quick look over. It is coming along fantastically, they had used quite a few of her suggestions. She told Twany how much she like it and expressed her wish to say but she had other commitments for the day. She then heads out to catch her bus and head home.*
*Arriving at the campus on Saturday afternoon Delphi has two options one it to plead for the right to assist on the mutant autopsy and the other is to figure out how exactly she made it into that class in the first place. She decides that it would probably be better if she got the assistant position first, she'd have better access to information pertaining to the cadavar. So Delphi heads to Dr. Kestet's office and knocks on the door.* Dr. Kestet it is Cassandra Starling from your Friday Gross Anatomy Lab.
"Come on in!" Dr. Kestet calls. Her office is cluttered, with files and folders all over her desk, and shelves of books, crammed into place, looking fit to burst. "What can I do for you, Ms. Starling? Your make up lab isn't until Monday." She smiles, friendly.
I know but it is more the why I have to do a makeup lab that I want to discuss. I wanted to put in a formal request to assist on the autopsy. I am top of the class, I pull a double work load, and I am very reliable, trust worthy and I would be very descrete with this particular patient's information. *Delphi says not pusyfooting around the subject. In the past Dr. Kestet has always preffered a direct approach.*
